Is "New Coke" Back Again?
by Guest- 3 replies

So I'm eating at Chipotle tonight and look what I see: Now look closely at the Coca-Cola on the right hand side: It does taste pretty good but it also brings up some serious questions. Doesn't this implicitly mean that what we have been drinking for 20+ years is then "New Coke"? Again? Has the Coca-Cola marketing company screwed up royally..... AGAIN? Anyone know any facts about this new version?/

Today for lunch I took myself out for a treat: This roll really lives up to its name: It has Spicy Crab, Smoked Salmon, and Avocado. Topped with Tuna, Shrimp with Black and Tobiko (not even sure what that is) Monkey and Malan sauce. Tempura Flakes and Scallions. Yummy!! Â

Coca-Cola is a carbonated soft drink. It is produced by The Coca-Cola Company of Atlanta, Georgia, and is often referred to simply as Coke (a registered trademark of The Coca-Cola Company in the United States since March 27, 1944). Originally intended as a patent medicine when it was invented in the late 19th century by John Pemberton, Coca-Cola was bought out by businessman Asa Griggs Candler, whose marketing tactics led Coke to its dominance of the world soft-drink market throughout the 20th century. The name refers to two of its original ingredients: kola nuts, a source of caffeine, and coca leaves. The current formula of Coca-Cola remains a trade secret, although a va…

Blessings are called "sacramentals" because they prepare us to receive the grace of the sacraments and help us to grow to be more like Christ (see Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 1670). Blessings consist of prayer, Scripture, and sometimes a special ritual sign (see Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 1668). People are accustomed to seeing bishops, priests, and deacons blessing objects or persons in the name of the Church. Indeed, "the more a blessing concerns ecclesial and sacramental life, the more is its administration reserved to the ordained ministry" (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 1669), often with the participation of the local parish com…

December 15, 20172:52 AM ET Heard on Morning Edition In a far-reaching report on child sex abuse in Australia, a government commission is recommending that the country's Catholic Church lift its celibacy requirement for diocesan clergy and be required to report evidence of abuse revealed in confession. Those are among the 400 recommendations contained in the 17-volume final report of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sex Abuse, which is wrapping up a five-year investigation – the longest in Australia's history. "We have concluded that there were catastrophic failures of leadership of Catholic Church authorities over many decades,…

There was a man who said, "I never knew what happiness was until I got married...and then it was too late!" Love is one long sweet dream, and marriage is the alarm clock. They say when a man holds a woman's hand before marriage, it is love; after marriage, it is self-defense. When a newly married man looks happy, we know why. But when a ten-year married man looks happy, we wonder why. There was this lover who said that he would go through hell for her. They got married, and now he is going through hell. A Code of Honor: Never approach a friend's girlfriend or wife with mischief as your goal. There are just too many women in the world to justify that sort of…

Home of Capernaum where Apostle Peter stayed? Interesting! CAPERNAUM (Ca·per?na·um) [from Heb., meaning “Village of Nahum”; or, “Village of Comforting”]. A city of major importance in JesusÂ’ earthly ministry, located on the NW shores of the Sea of Galilee. It had a tax office, where Jesus called Matthew to be his disciple (Mt 9:9), and perhaps a military post, for a centurion resided there. (Mt 8:5) These indications, plus the fact that an attendant of the king, wealthy enough to have slaves, lived there (Joh 4:46-53), all seem to make it likely that Capernaum was of some size and importance and hence worthy of being called “a city of Galilee.”—Lu …

Since there are only 21,000,000 bitcoin in existence and a growing world population doesn’t that allow for some math simulations? Just curious what you think if it were left “unchecked”.
