The cruise line operator Royal Caribbean has said it will refuse any passengers with Chinese, Hong Kong or Macao passports, regardless of when they were last in China. The remarkable statement comes after reports that about two dozen passengers aboard a cruise ship that docked in Bayonne, New Jersey, on Friday morning were screened for coronavirus and four were sent to a local hospital for further screening. "Coronaviruses last up to nine days on jacks and bells" Coronaviruses can remain on surfaces and become infectious for up to nine days at room temperature. Not to minimize the potency of the coronavirus. But it looks like CNN finally decided it was time to make the point some have been making here for several days. It's not the coronavirus. It's the flu (this 2019-2020 season, so far). In the 2017-2018 flu season, as many as 61,000 people died, and 45 million were sickened. In the 2019-2020 season so far, 15 million people i…

My heart is dying for her For a long time, there is nothing left on this path And it's time that I wake up from sleep Although I know that I will love for all times Forgotten touch of her lips She pulls my threads and it has to be like that She is the most beautiful of all I know She pulls my threads and it has to be like that I know that I'll stay alone forever Because I repeat her name as a prayer even in dream And everything still smells of home And when I don't talk about that, my heart is dying for her My heart is dying fo…

Via AP Do bosses... Report four consecutive quarters of sales growth at existing locations? Boost earnings guidance for the year? Invest more than $200 million renovating a specific set of stores (called "magnets") with new technology and more varied merchandise? Expect to hit $1 billion in mobile sales this year? Apparently. But we're also guessing a 7.2% drop in share price isn't part of the job description. So why did investors knock Macy's yesterday? Because everything's relative. Bloomberg's Sarah Halzack points out investors have set a high bar for retailers given a high-flying economy and strong consumer sentiment. …
