An Austrian-Jewish woman converts to True Christianity. A video about (praise God and Christ) a testimonial of a repentant woman, who had always rejected Jesus and His Word, Work, and Person. She was raised as an observant Jew, with her prayer-book, and synagogue worship, and Sabbath-keeping,who always denied Jesus as the Jewish Messiah, avoided reading the "New Testament"...but later was moved to investigate Jesus, and the writings of the Christian Greek Scriptures. What's called the "New Testament of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ".She still remained skeptical though.Jehovah's Witnesses later came to her door, and preached God's True Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to he…

Happy are all those keeping in expectation of him.—Isa. 30:18. Jehovah is fully aware of our limitations. (Ps. 103:14) Therefore, he does not expect us to endure trials in our own strength but offers us his fatherly help. Of course, at times, we might feel that we cannot go on anymore. But Jehovah assures us that he will never allow his servants to suffer beyond their limit of endurance. Yes, he will “make the way out.”(1 Cor. 10:13) Therefore, we have good reason to trust that JehovahÂ’s assessment of what we can bear is right. When relief does not immediately follow our prayers for help, let us wait on the One who knows just when to act in our behalf. Remember th…

The Pierre congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses invites the public to knock on the new door of their new Kingdom Hall out on the rise on U.S. Highways 83/14 on the northeast edge of town. The congregation just completed construction of its new, more modest church building, called a Kingdom Hall, after tearing down its larger Kingdom Hall built in 1989, said Dennis Stahlecker, an elder in the congregation. “The other building was taken down about the middle of September,” he said. When it was built 28 years ago, more than 600 volunteer Witnesses came from across the region and nation to help in the patented “barn-raising” way the denomination puts up …

PERSONAL REFLECTION WE DO NOT FOLLOW MEN Last meeting before the foundation of the new community 193 NORTH - MARITIBA - BRAZIL Nord-Maritiba, Brasilien Today's Saturday text has been John 6:38. Our slave does not walk with half measures to tell us clearly that once dedicated, it is wrong to live a double life. If there is ever a conflict between what we want and what Jehovah wants, what will we do? This could illustrate the position of Jehovah's Witnesses and their dedication in the so-called baptismal vows that have been written by the slave, so since 1985 every person who wants to be baptized must publicly proclaim "yes" to the following question: " Do you un…

CHRISTMAS LIES ~ ??? Saint Nicholas' Evil Companion: Krampus is a beast-like creature from folklore thought to punish children during the Yule season who had misbehaved, in contrast with Saint Nicholas, who rewards well-behaved ones with gifts. Krampus is said to capture particularly naughty children in his sack and carry them away to his lair. Krampus is represented as a beast-like creature, generally demonic in appearance. https://www.cnet.com/pictures/krampus-the-terrifyingly-true-dark-side-of-santa-claus/

WHY Show True Christian Love? ? (John 13:34, 35) "I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are my disciples—if you have love among yourselves.” Because love is a product of GodÂ’s holy spirit, it enables true Christians to do what others cannot do, such as overcome racial, cultural, and political barriers. “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,Â’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens,” said Jesus, “but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.” (Matt. 7:21) Yes, it is not the professing of Christianity that …

Lesson for today. (Deut 6:5-7) The children often pay a high price. ?????? Although they may have many material luxuries, they lack the most essential ingredients of a good childhood: parental time and love. Without guidance, without discipline and direction, they face very adult questions too soon, with little or no preparation. ‘Should I take drugs? Engage in sex? Get violent when IÂ’m angry?Â’ They will likely find their own answers, taking them from peers or TV or movie characters. The results often bring childhood to an abrupt, even tragic, end. - Bible Speaks - https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/102003282?q=young+brains&p=par

IS THERE FALSE RELIGION TODAY?  HOW WOULD I KNOW? ~ ????? Why do you call it that?  What's different than what the Bible teaches?  Why do many not go to Church?  What about the hundreds of religions today? Probably you agree that many things done in the name of religion are not approved by God. During the recent world wars, which millions of persons now living survived, the religions on both sides encouraged their people to kill. “Kill Germans—do kill them,” said the bishop of London. And, on the other side, the archbishop of Cologne told Germans: “We command you in the name of God, to fight to the last drop of your blood for the honor and glory of the …

“Jehovah is my Shepherd”—is that not a fitting description of our heavenly Father? ~ ?????? “Jehovah is my Shepherd. I shall lack nothing.”— (PSALM 23:1) Jehovah leads his people. David writes: “In grassy pastures he makes me lie down; by well-watered resting-places he conducts me. My soul he refreshes. He leads me in the tracks of righteousness for his nameÂ’s sake.” (Psalm 23:2, 3) ?????? “I Fear Nothing Bad, for You Are With Me” David gives a second reason for his confidence: Jehovah protects his sheep. We read: “Even though I walk in the valley of deep shadow, I fear nothing bad, for you are with me; your rod and your staff are the…

Egypt is referred to over 700 times in the Bible. What do you know about it? ~ ??????? In the Hebrew Scriptures, Egypt is often designated by the name Mizraim, evidently pointing to the prominence of the descendants of that son of Ham who settled in this region (Ge 10:6) ??????? The Egyptians in the days of Joseph were favorably disposed towards the Israelites, but as their numbers increased, they cruelly oppressed them, eventually imposing conditions of slavery. ??????? This situation existed for centuries until Jehovah provided deliverance through Moses. ??????? After the Exodus, hostilities continued. For example, shortly after …

“Truly I say to YOU, If only YOU have faith and do not doubt, not only will YOU do what I did to the fig tree, but also if YOU say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and cast into the sea,Â’ it will happen. 22 And all the things YOU ask in prayer, having faith, YOU will receive.” How Strong is your Faith? - Can you Move that Mountian? Faith enables Christians to cope with any difficulties. Jesus told his disciples that if they had “faith the size of a mustard grain,” nothing would be impossible for them. (Matthew 17:20) In that way, he stressed the power of faith, a fruit of holy spirit. Jesus thus emphasized, not what humans, but what GodÂ’s spirit, or …

Lesson for today. (John 17:3) “Why, Lord, Did You Remain Silent?” THESE were the words of Pope Benedict XVI, who visited the former concentration camp at Auschwitz, Poland, on May 28, 2006. At the site where the Nazis killed hundreds of thousands of Jews and others, he added: “How many questions arise in this place! Constantly the question comes up: Where was God in those days? Why was he silent? How could he permit this endless slaughter, this triumph of evil? . . . We must continue to cry out humbly yet insistently to God: Rouse yourself! Do not forget mankind, your creature!” The popeÂ’s speech gave rise to animated reactions. Some detected revealing o…

He does not go back on his promise, even when it is bad for him.—Ps. 15:4. Saul urged Jonathan to pursue his own interests. (1 Sam. 20:31) But loyalty to God moved Jonathan to befriend David rather than seek the advantages of the kingship for himself. Jonathan did not “go back on his promise” to David; neither should we go back on our promises. For example, if a business agreement becomes harder to honor than expected, our loyalty to God and regard for the Bible should move us to keep our word. And what if our marriage proves to be more challenging than anticipated? Love for God will surely move us to be loyal to our mate. (Mal. 2:13-16) Also, let us prove our loya…

Israeli archaeologists say they have found a 2,700-year-old piece of clay inscribed with a biblical king’s seal. It is thought the oval bulla, which is 13mm (0.5in) wide, was once attached to a papyrus document signed by Hezekiah, one of the kings of Judah. It was found by a team from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem at the site of an ancient dump, beside the wall that surrounds JerusalemÂ’s Old City. It is believed to have been thrown out with the rubbish from a royal building. The bulla is imprinted with the symbol of a winged sun and an inscription in an ancient Hebrew script, saying: “Belonging to Hezekiah [son of] Ahaz king of Judah”. Hezekiah, wh…
