The New World—Will You Be There? - It is Soon to Come! ??? "I have concluded that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during their life, also that everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God." (Eccl 3:12,13) Revised “There is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during oneÂ’s life; and also that every man should eat and indeed drink and see good for all his hard work. It is the gift of God.” (Eccl 3:12, 13) MANY people think of Almighty God as severe, stern. Yet, the above text is a truth that you will find in his inspired Word. It accords with his being “th…

Jehovah Deserves Our United Praise ????? “Praise Jah, you people!”—PS. 111:1. “[Jehovah’s] activity is dignity and splendor themselves, and his righteousness is standing forever. A memorial he has made for his wonderful works. Jehovah is gracious and merciful.” (Ps. 111:3, 4) ????? Do you not agree that Jehovah’s activity throughout history, including things done during your lifetime, is a memorial to his “dignity and splendor”? ????? Notice that the psalmist also stresses Jehovah’s beautiful qualities, such as righteousness, graciousness, and mercy. You know that the works of sinful mankind are seldom based on righteousness. Often th…

Speak What “Is Good for Building Up” ?? ? Must YOU Gossip? "Make it your aim to live quietly and to mind your own business." (1Thess 4:11) Revised ?? ? “Let a rotten saying not proceed out of your mouth, but whatever saying is good for building up.”—EPHESIANS 4:29 Harmful gossip, slander. Gossip is idle talk about people and their lives. Is all gossip bad? Not if we mean innocent conversation in which we might share positive or helpful news, such as who just got baptized or who needs a word of encouragement. First-century Christians had a keen interest in one anotherÂ’s welfare and shared appropriate information about fellow believers…

God's Promises are True, just look up in a rainy day after a storm? ????? What He Promises comes true! "The rainbow will occur in the cloud, and I will certainly see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every kind on the earth.Ô (Gen 9:16) ????? The first Biblical reference to a rainbow is in the account of the covenant God made with Noah and his offspring after the Flood survivors came out of the ark. (Ge 9:8-17; Isa 54:9, 10)Â ????? This splendid sight of itself would have been reassuring and an indication of peace to Noah and his family. ????? Now are you still reassured when…

"Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) ??????? Jesus Christ is “the way.” That is, he is the only one through whom it is possible for us to approach God. This is true in the matter of prayer, for only by praying through Jesus do we have the assurance that the Father will give us whatever we may request in harmony with His will. (John 15:16) ??????? However, Jesus is “the way” also in a further sense. Sin has alienated mankind from God. (Isa. 59:2) Jesus gave “his soul a ransom in exchange for many.” (Matt. 20:28) As a result, the Bible explains: “The blood of J…

SELF-CONTROL is a godly quality. (Gal. 5:22, 23) ?????????? Jehovah possesses self-control in perfect measure. Humans, however, are imperfect and therefore struggle to maintain self-control. Indeed, many of the problems that people face today stem from a lack of self-control. That lack may result in procrastination and underperformance in school or at work. It may also lead to verbal abuse, drunkenness, violence, divorce, needless debt, addiction, imprisonment, emotional trauma, sexually transmitted disease, and unwanted pregnancy, to name a few.—Ps. 34:11-14. ?????????? Clearly, people who lack self-control are causing problems for themselves and…

Keep Building Upbuilding One Another ~ ????? "Therefore, keep encouraging one another and building one another up, just as you are in fact doing." (1Thess 5:11) ????? “Keep comforting one another and building one another up.”—(1 THESS. 5:11) BEING a member of the Christian congregation is a great blessing indeed. You have a good relationship with Jehovah. Your reliance on his Word as a guide shields you from the bad consequences of an unchristian lifestyle. You are surrounded by genuine friends, who want you to do well. Yes, the blessings are many. Most Christians, however, are struggling with problems of one kind or another. Some of them may …

A name. A mistery. Babylon the Great. Â Â Â QUESTIONS TO TELL IF THE BABYLON THE GREAT IT'S A NATION Â In the Bible there are hundreds of references to the destruction of Babylon and Israel unfaithful . They are also parallels between Israel and many hundreds of Babylon (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel ...). Being accustomed to make parallels with Christianity and the world empire of false religion, every time we read "Israel will be destroyed!" we read, in fact, "Christianity will be destroyed!" and every time we read "Babylon will be destroyed!" we read "The world empire of fals…

Working together with him, we also urge you not to accept the undeserved kindness of God and miss its purpose.—2 Cor. 6:1. Jehovah is the Supreme One, the Creator of all things, the One possessing infinite wisdom and power. Job came to understand that. After Jehovah questioned Job about His works of creation, Job replied: “I know that you are able to do all things and that nothing you have in mind to do is impossible for you.” (Job 42:2) Though Jehovah can accomplish whatever he sets out to do—without assistance—he has from the very beginning lovingly invited others to work along with him to achieve his purpose. GodÂ’s first creation was his only-begotten spirit …

You people must be born again.—John 3:7. Before receiving this personal witness from GodÂ’s spirit, anointed Christians cherished an earthly hope. They longed for the time when Jehovah would cleanse this earth, and they wanted to be part of that blessed future. Perhaps they even pictured themselves welcoming back their loved ones from the grave. They looked forward to living in the homes that they built and eating the fruitage of trees that they planted. (Isa. 65:21-23) Why did their thinking change? They did not become dissatisfied with that hope. They did not change their mind because of emotional stress or turmoil. They did not give up on this earth, as if they su…

The world empire of false religion really is Babylon the Great? In that day earthling man will throw the shrews and bats his worthless gods of silver and his gold valueless gods they had done because he inchinasse before them, to enter into the holes of the rocks and in crevices of the rocks , because of the fear of Jehovah and in front of his splendid superiority, when he rises to shake the earth - Isaiah 2:20, 21 Â According to the official intention is Babylon the Great, the world empire of false religion. Ozarkers in the national spotlight
by Guest Nicole- 0 replies

A common belief holds that our rural ancestors, especially in upland regions such as the Ozarks, lived happily in primitive little worlds independent of the larger society. And while there is a grain of truth in this generalization, settlers on the Arkansas frontier found themselves inextricably bound to the larger national and regional economy, government, and culture. How Ozarkers reacted and reluctantly adjusted to being part of the national scene is the subject of Hillbilly Hellraisers, a fine new book by an up-and-coming young Arkansas historian, assistant professor Blake Perkins of Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge. Many modern Ozarkers have little in co…

What Does It Mean to Be Loyal? ?????? Lesson for today. (Eph 5:22, 23)Â 1 Complaining to your friends This point is number 1 for a big reason, guys. Believe me when I say that I know the feeling of just needing to complain to someone! I mean, some things are just really hard to bring up to your spouse but you feel as though you will have a mental breakdown if someone doesnÂ’t know what youÂ’re dealing with. I get it. ?????? But being totally real here, complaining about your husband to others is one of the worst things you can do for your relationship with him. Having a friend who will actually fight for your marriage is hard to find. What (sadly) too …
