Lois Audrey Morales
by Guest Nicole- 0 replies

Lois Audrey Morales fell asleep in death on Nov. 17th, 2016, after her usual late-night chat with her husband Joe and her favorite treat-ice cream. Lois was born in St. Paul, MN to Maurice and Constance Larkin on Feb. 7th, 1934. She was welcomed by Sister Beverly and Brother Clayton. With the loving care of their mother, Constance, who was guided by Bible principles, the young family weathered many storms. Yet they were content and happy. Lois graduated in 1952 from Humbolt High School. She really enjoyed Latin music and dancing. On Aug. 1st, 1953, Lois married her beloved Joseph Morales. Together they raised 8 children. Lois loved her family and like her mothe…

4 "I do not associate with deceitful men, And I avoid those who hide what they are."(Psalm 26:4) Be careful who you associate with....people at war with themselves will always cause collateral damage in the lives of those around them.

I've noticed a few photos recently of JW women all donning some sort of uniform similar to how airline stewardesses (I should say flight attendants) are typically dressed. She looks fine above according to today's dress standard. I would call this a modern business look. However would it be wrong for her to wear pants below? The suit jacket she is wearing (obviously made for a woman) would have been denounced as a woman dressing in men's clothes years ago. Have our standards changed? This brings up many questions about fashion standards and whether all JW's should sport an official uniform or not? Would Jesus have wanted his apostles to be dressed…

Work can be enjoyable or tiring, ?? your a hard worker. Keep strong ?️♀️ you will feel accomplishment for you hard work. “Everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God.” (Ecclesiastes 3:13) Whether your work is mostly mental, mostly physical, or somewhere in between, recognize that “there is benefit in every kind of hard work.” (Proverbs 14:23) What sort of benefit? For one thing, hard work helps us to care for our material needs. True, God promises to provide for the needs of those who sincerely worship him. (Matthew 6:31, 32) But he also expects us to do our part by diligently trying to earn an honest living.—2 Thes…

With almost all subjects, the smarter you are, the more likely you'll figure it out. Not so with spiritual matters. Smarts aren't the determining factor. They can even get in your way, if they've caused you to become full of yourself. How else can you explain the verse from the kr book last meeting? "To you it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the Kingdom of the heavens, but to them it is not granted." Matthew 13:11

"Put away from yourselves every kind of malicious bitterness, anger, wrath, screaming, and abusive speech, as well as everything injurious." (Eph.4:31) Put Away ‘Malicious Bitterness, Anger, and Wrath’ More is involved in restraining the tongue than watching what we say. After all, our words are a product of the heart rather than of the mouth. Jesus said: “A good man brings forth good out of the good treasure of his heart, but a wicked man brings forth what is wicked out of his wicked treasure; for out of the heart’s abundance his mouth speaks.” (Luke 6:45) Hence, to control your tongue, you may need to pray as did David: “Create in me even a pure heart, O Go…

"Look! I have made your face exactly as hard as their faces and your forehead exactly as hard as their foreheads. 9 I have made your forehead like a diamond, harder than flint. Do not be afraid of them or be terrified by their faces, for they are a rebellious house.” Exekiel 3:8,9. What we go through in life whatever we face we become stronger under trials. We are like "diamonds in the rough!" As a diamond is refined it becomes a beautiful glimmering diamond. May we become as beautiful to Jehovah as we continue to be refined and one day to him a beautiful diamond! Never give up, we have so much help from Jehovah, rejoice at His care and we are so loved by Him! …

Public Witnessing Increases

QuestionI notice that you have not been online much these days. Can I ask, what are you doing with your time and when are you going to make a response to those who are persecuting you on Allexperts? Answer Public Witnessing Incr I no longer engage with Apostates or anyone who I perceive as an Opposer of God's Kingdom. However, my earthly ministry has grown fourfold and has intensified greatly. I continue the preaching work from door to door, bus-stops, street-witnessing, passer-byes, at businesses, train ways and airports. There are several scriptures to utilize to gain understanding how our "Preaching Work" is being intensified under the…

by Guest Nicole- 0 replies

A trial date has been set for a lawsuit between a former City of Key West Department of Transportation bus driver and the city, but a federal judge ordered both sides to attempt to resolve the case via mediation. Bobby Walker Jr. claims that he requested, via a letter dated Oct. 23, 2014, to the city manager’s office, that he not participate in the annual Fantasy Fest parade and that his “participation in the Fantasy Fest parade was contrary to his beliefs as a Jehovah’s Witness,” the lawsuit states. Walker claims his civil rights were violated, according to the lawsuit. U.S. District Judge Jose E. Martinez has tentatively scheduled a trial date for Jan.…

Today it's annoying when religious groups try to give us their materials while we're rushing through busy public places. But think back to a time and place when laws did not allow distribution of such materials. The First Amendment gives people the right to distribute religious information, just like the folks depicted in this picture. Image of a woodcut depicting a family handing out tracts. Published in the American Tract Magazine, August 1825. Maintained by the American Tract Society, Garland, Texas. source

Are You Moving Ahead With Jehovah’s Organization ? I, Jehovah, am your God, the One teaching you to benefit yourself, the One guiding you in the way you should walk.—Isa. 48:17. http://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2016/11/20 Whether we are anointed Christians or we are members of the great crowd, we can experience the bright future promised in God’s Word. To do so, however, we must comply with Jehovah’s requirements. (Isa. 48:18) Consider the Israelites under the Mosaic Law. One purpose of the Law was to protect the people of Israel by giving them wholesome statutes regulating sexual conduct, business dealings, child care, proper treatment of fellow hu…

By Zunilda Mata. Discriminated against for decades, Cuba’s Jehovah’s Witnesses just opened an employment agency that focuses on the “honesty and decency” of its people. The database “is an opportunity to advertise the skills that the brothers have in different professions and trades,” says Tamara Sanchez, one of the managers. As a “private initiative,” although it is linked to the religious community, she describes the new project as one to connect the private sector with “serious and decent” workers. Close relationships within the congregation are a plus for the rapid transmission of information. “When I look for a job with the state and they realize that …
