Lies and slander "Woe to those who say that good is bad and evil is good, to those who put darkness for light and light for darkness, those who bitterly bitter and sweet to bitter, woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and wise in their sight! " The Bible Isaiah 5: 20-21 TMN The distortion of facts All facts are distorted and manipulated, as follows: A Christian Jehovah's Witness exercises the profession of maternal guard: it is "the sect" which intervenes in the educational field to enlist the children. A Jehovah's Witness works in the public administration, it is "the sect" that infiltrates the …

After the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses* was considered to be an extremist one, and its activities were banned in Russia by the court, it became more difficult to defend them, rights defenders have stated. According to their version, the residents of Northern Caucasus, who have left the Islam, were especially suffering. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 20, 2017, the SC of Russia satisfied the demand of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to liquidate all the 396 religious organizations of Jehovah's Witnesses* in Russia as extremist. Rights defenders have faced the problem of protecting Jehovah's Witnesses* in various fields, including from domesti…

A Baku court fined Kamran Huseynzade four months' average wages for selling religious books outside a mosque without state permission. The head of the censorship department at the State Committee for Work with Religious Organisations lamented that only 42 of 100 places selling religious literature have the required state licence. All published and imported religious literature is subject to prior compulsory censorship. Amid the continuing imposition of state censorship of all religious literature published and distributed in Azerbaijan or imported into it, a court in the capital Baku has handed down another large fine for selling religious literature without state pe…

Dear Brothers: The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland in May of this year with the objective of harmonizing data protection laws in countries subject to European Union Law. The GDPR, among other things, will introduce new rights for individuals and significantly increase penalties for non-compliance. Consequently, all congregations will need to adjust the way they handle personal data. In preparation for the implementation of the GDPR, please take the following steps: All elders should immediately become familiar with the contents of the Notice and Consent for Use of Personal…

Did you know: An igloo can be over 40 degrees warmer than the temperature outside. So even in negative temperatures, gathering inside of an igloo can keep those inside warm. No matter how cold this world gets, we can’t allow that to stop us from gathering together in our spiritual igloos. Not only does it keep us warm personally, but by being there we can help others stay warm as well.

Ps 119:30 – “The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” Dear JWs, Can an idol hear the words of God? Idolatry is sourced in the spirit of the world, where Satan wields his authority. 1 John 5:19 An idol cannot speak the words of God, aiding others to reach the light of understanding and truth. John 17:17 An idol has no compassion toward those in need, extending its hand to comfort the afflicted and those suffering in sorrow; fully able to sense their needs. It cannot comprehend the examples of love and compassion we have in Christ. Matt 11:28-30 If an idol is unable to hear and speak the Word of God in…

INFLUENTIAL ATHEIST TURNS TO GOD A British professor who has been called 'the world’s most influential atheist' turned around and became a believer in God. In an interview, before he passed away in 2010, Dr. Antony Flew said he 'had to go where the evidence leads.' According to Flew, this evidence includes recent scientific discoveries in the fields of cosmology and physics. Flew stated that 'the most impressive arguments for God’s existence are those that are supported by recent scientific discoveries' and that 'the argument to Intelligent Design is enormously stronger than it was when I first met it.' Although at the time he said it was…

One young woman at the congregation meeting last night identified with the “missing drachma” parable of Jesus, saying: “When I put my hand in my back pocket and find some money there....Whoa! it is a big deal!” (“Betty Davis style” is how Bob Dylan said it.) I must admit that it inspired me to do the same, slipping a dollar into my back pocket, pulling it out and exclaiming: “Whoa! Look at this!” It was this illustration at Luke 15 that got her going: “What woman who has ten drachma coins, if she loses one of the drachmas, does not light a lamp and sweep her house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors …

Is a Body organized? How could it continue to function, if it were not? Do not our eyes work along with our hands?... Our heart beating, work in harmony with our breathing so that oxygen reaches all our cells... our kidneys cleaning our blood and our digestion to feed our whole body? Yes, God does work through an organized Body, and has done so since it's head, Jesus Christ, took over as the leader of the Christian congregation (1Cor.12:27; Col.1:18). The fact that God is organized, and that He possesses and reigns over an organization in the earth... DOES NOT require that such an organization IS "JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES"! This is simple to understand. Just because a man …

The ban on Jehovah's Witnesses* as a religious organization is no basis for persecuting for faith, but law enforcers ignore it, Maxim Pervunin, a lawyer for four Dagestani believers, has stated at a press conference today. He pointed to parallels of persecutions of Jehovah's Witnesses in modern Russia with the Soviet-time practices. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 1, searches were conducted in four cities of Dagestan. Law enforcers detained and placed behind bars four Jehovah's Witnesses, Arsen Abdullaev, Maria Karpova, Anton Dergalyov and Marat Abdulgalimov. Their relatives and friends claim that charges of extremism have been brought against peace-lo…

A court in Poland has refused to extradite former vice president of corporate finance at Probusinessbank, Yaroslav Alekseev, to Russia. According to Vedomosti with reference to the local TVP Info channel, the judge considered that Alekseev’s extradition was legally unacceptable, since he was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, and its members get prosecuted, arrested and sentenced to long terms in Russia. Jehovah's Witnesses is recognized as extremist and banned in Russia. In September, the US State Department imposed sanctions against two Surgut investigators, who were believed to have used torture against some of the organization members. Alekseev was detained in…

Marriage Mountain- By Tie Bros

A sign that we are living in the last days is the fact that love is cooling off. Sadly, the pressures and demands of this cold world has effected many marriages. Close relationships that are full of love and warmth, can easily become cold and distant . This situation can be likened to a large mountain with each mate standing on the opposite side. How can a couple draw close again in this situation? They have to climb towards the top. In a spiritual sense, mates that have allowed some mountain to come between them have to “climb” toward Jehovah. They can do this by reading the Bible, praying and doing family worship together. When a couple puts forth the effort to draw c…

HEED THE SIGNS, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE
by Guest- 0 replies

HEED THE SIGNS, THEY ARE EVERYWHERE A man driving on a well-illuminated road ignores a sign that says "Do not enter, private property." A police officer stops him and gives him a fine. The man argues that the sign was not visible so he missed it. But his argument is weak because the sign is in plain view. Besides, all drivers have to be aware and heed such signs. So it is with the evidence of God in nature. The "sign" shouting "Design!" is in plain view. As intelligent beings, we are more than capable of seeing it. There is no excuse for ignoring it. The question is: are we heeding the signs our Father have put in plain view in nature shouti…

The French Speaking Baptist Church of Stratford has moved into the former Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall on Milford Point Road, and has been meeting in its new location for about a month, a church official said. Church leaders had been looking for a building in the area while renting space at the First Congregational Church on Main Street in Stratford. Sauveur Joseph, a deacon, said the congregation is fairly new and has 60 members. The church meets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays and at various times during the week for Bible study and other events. “Our job is to spread the gospel in Stratford and Milford,” Joseph said. The Jehovah’s Witnesses sold …

“Hundreds of thousands of kids marching the streets. Terrorized due to climate change OR terrorized at a scam. It is nuts either way. It is child abuse from the older generation either way.” It is a presentation that I have been playing around with lately. Make the observation, and the scripture you offer to read is Revelation 11:18: “But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time came for the dead to be judged and to reward your slaves the prophets and the holy ones and those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth.” It is a tricky verse to read. All you are really looking…

NOT ON BREAD ALONE 1 2

NOT ON BREAD ALONE Jesus said: “Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every word that comes from Jehovah's mouth.'' Do we abide by those words? Some of our brothers have shown just that to a remarkable degree. One Witness in Europe who was imprisoned for his faith during the second world war exchanged three days' rations for a Bible. Did he regret that exchange? Not at all. He mentioned it proved to be rewarding! Now that's truly living on every word that comes from Jehovah! Do we love the Word of God to that degree? Just minutes before dawn a week ago, I drove a couple of miles down the highway to care for the mixed flock of chickens, ducks and geese. They were waiting impatiently for their doors to swing open, allowing them to embrace the new day. As I passed the tall trees lining the roadway, the mountain came into view revealing a full moon, suspended just above the mountain’s summit. Against the softened blues of the early sky, it glowed with such intense brightness that I was taken aback by its pristine beauty. In the clear morning air, it radiated a brilliant white, enhanced by the rising of the sun. The moon and sun seemed to mutually work together; to bring light, hope and li…

TWO MEN’S PRAYER

TWO MEN’S PRAYER The account in Luke 18:10-14 presents two men that acted according to how they saw themselves. What they believed determined their prayer: one was acceptable, the other detestable. This illustrates the fact that what we believe in our heart about ourselves directly correlates to our conduct.

Russia has widened a crackdown against Jehovah’s Witnesses, jailing six adherents of the Christian denomination for extremism in a move rights activists said was unjust and flouted religious freedom. Russia moves to label Jehovah Witnesses extremists A regional court in Saratov jailed six Jehovah’s Witnesses on Thursday for up to three-and-a-half years, a court spokeswoman said on Friday. “Yes they were convicted,” the spokeswoman, Olga Pirueva, said. “Punishments ranged from three years and six months down to two years (in jail).” The court found the six men guilty of continuing the activities of an extremist organization, a reference to a 2017 ruling from Russia’s Supre…
