“Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.” The word for “princes” in Isa 32:1 needs some scrutiny as to who it refers to. The organization says these princes are the elders in the “Messianic Kingdom” to rule on earth after Armageddon. This idea warrants the power of the holy ones, the “144,000” who will rule with Christ as simply, nonexistent. To tread down an individual or a people, it doesn’t always take a physical element to do it; but an idea, a philosophy not based on scripture, but on the ever-changing theories of men. Rev 16:13,14 It takes spiritual motivation to devise a counterfeit fulfillment of scripture,…

In previous decades, when someone was disfellowshipped, they were told their time would be 6 months. Now it’s a full year? Why did that change from 6 mo to a year? and are they getting more ppl to come back with the increased time? With the less members staying in the org, you would think they want to lower the “jail time “ Also are there any other religions that gives you months or years of time out, if you commit a sin, even if you actually want to come back? Also any former elders here? Why is there a standard set time for everyone? And why can they reject someone’s letter who wants to come back? Don’t they need more members ?

OK, I've sort of shot myself in the foot by saying I'm now going to take this forum as a joke and have a laugh. In most ways i will continue to do so BUT. This evening I was given some information that 1.maybe I shouldn't have been given. 2. Maybe i wish i hadn't been given. Some of you may say I'm telling lies. Some of you may say I'm just after attention. Some may say I'm just trying to put down the JW Org. However i have to think on something i say a lot. DUTY OF CARE. Care of everyone, in or out of that JW Org. I have been given this information :- Somewhere between 18 months to 2 years ago, a young man that is a member of Honiton Congregati…

To get to the meaningful core of what Armageddon is about, which is the battle of truth against lies, we look at Israel’s sins of the past. Today’s spiritual “Israel” comprised of the anointed ones, is also steeped in sin, resulting from a testing delusion put upon them by Satan; a delusion that is passionately called “the truth”. Luke 22:31; 2 Thess 2:9-12; Rev 13:1,2,11 God does expect us to seek Truth. Ps 25:5; Matt 7:7,8; John 4:23,24; 8:31,32; 14:6 Yet, today’s “Israel” is feeding on the lies of their leaders/prophets. Matt 7:15; Acts 20:29; Rev 16:13,14 When reading Ezekiel chapter 13, notice that the term “whitewash” helps reveal what is b…

Erythropoietin and iron supplements have been used for 30 years to treat anemia in patients with chronic kidney disease, but erythropoiesis-stimulating agents can only be safely used to increase hemoglobin levels to 11 g per deciliter. Roxadustat, a member of a new class of drugs called hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) prolyl hydroxylase inhibitors, stimulates erythropoiesis and regulates iron metabolism. As reported in The New England Journal of Medicine, results from two Phase 3 randomized, clinical trials in China suggest that roxadustat may be beneficial for patients with chronic kidney disease. During the 26-week trials, 154 patients with chronic kidney disease not rec…

I knew Seth Sheepngoats would pull something like this, I knew it! The tip-off should have been when I saw him go into that costume shop. He arrived at the Kingdom Hall just like anyone else yesterday. But halfway through the Watchtower Study, he reached into his bag and tied something behind his neck. When he emerged, it was with a huge, magnificent Santa Claus beard! He is such an idiot!

Isaiah 64:8 “O Jehovah, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are our Potter.” Romans 12:2 “stop being molded by this system of things, but be transformed by making your mind over, so that you may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Never would we want to give up being molded by Jehovah to be molded by Satan and his system. After watching Toy Story 4 and reading Romans 12:2 this idea came to mind. Sorry that it is a sadder ending than usual.

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” John 4:23,24 In one publication by the organization, it uses 1 Cor 10:14 and 1 John 5:21 to explain that a true Christian would not worship God at any place of ‘special value’. Their comment is based on Jesus’ words in John 4:21-24. The publication states that doing so would incur idol worship, resulting from viewing any place as holy in itself. This article is in a public addition of the magazines, dated 2016. Search, “shrin…

THE TRINITY Watchtower Teaching: JW arguments against the Trinity are: i) If Jesus is God, who ran the universe during the three days that Jesus was dead in the grave? Satan had a great chance to take control. Answer: Jesus’ body died, not His soul or spirit. He along with the Father and the Holy Spirit still ran the universe. ii) If Jesus is the immortal God, He could not have died. Answer: The immortal God, by taking on a mortal body, had His mortal body die. iii) Since God is not a God of confusion (I Corinthians 14:33), it is impossible that the Bible would talk of a God who could not be understood by human reason. JWs claim that the Trin…

13 Moreover, brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant* about those who are sleeping in death,q so that you may not sorrow as the rest do who have no hope.r 14 For if we have faith that Jesus died and rose again,s so too God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep in death through Jesus.t 15 For this is what we tell you by Jehovah’s* word, that we the living who survive to the presence of the Lord will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep in death; 16 because the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’su voice and with God’s trumpet, and those who are dead in union with Christ will rise first.v 17 Afterwar…

I realize there are many reasons to go to an Assembly, or Convention, and when my children were living at home they would go to others' conventions for a variety of reasons, as well as their own. I would always ask them when they returned home "What did you learn that was new?" . This was important to me as I had to work long hours to afford to finance their explorations and socialization, which I thought was important ... but I still expected them to learn something new ... and since I was paying for their travels, to tell me what was going on. Generally, attendance to an out of town Convention nearby would cost about $200 a day, times three days, so that wou…

I do spend a lot of time thinking about what is right and what is wrong, and I do think that God wants each of us to use our own conscience to make our own decisions. Yes of course our conscience should be based on God's word, using Bible principles and examples given by Jesus Christ. But it should be our conscience that we rely on, not the dictatorship of MEN. The JW Org's leaders have made so many rules that a baptised JW person cannot use their own conscience. JW's are programmed to accept all the rules dictated by the GB. Programmed in such a way that every JW knows that if they deliberately use their own conscience and it takes them on a different course …

Firstborn or First created? Colossians 1:15 - ‘the firstborn (Greek: prototokos 4416) of every creature’. JWs use this verse to teach that Jesus was created at a point in time as an angel. They ignore the evidence and insist that the word ‘firstborn’ here means ‘first created’, ‘the eldest in Jehovah’s family of sons’. The Bible teaching: 1) ‘Firstborn’ (Greek: prototokos) does NOT mean ‘first-created’ (Greek: protoktisis). First-created (Protoktisis) is never used of Christ in New Testament. Question:Where is it used of Jesus in New Testament? Question: Why didn’t Paul use the term ‘first-created’ (protoktisis) in Colossians 1:15 if he …

You know Bubba, at one time, when there were only four people on the Earth, one of them killed his brother, and that meant that 33.333% of all people on the Earth were MURDERERS! That's probably more than where you live!

https://www.jwfacts.com/watchtower/quotes/rape-fornication.php I am looking at these watchtower articles that state if a woman is being raped, if she doesn't scream or try to get away, she is committing fornication. So following that messed up logic, if a 5 year old child is being raped, and they don't scream for help, does that make that 5 year old a fornicator?

What do you guys think? The forms of exploitation people do about God's forgiveness and why Christians forgive. After Shophmore year and coming back from vacation, I have some time to reflect until the next war - junior year lol. I make thread on this because of a school experience, social media and what was shown recently from this month's broadcasting about being lured into sin.

What Witness of Jehovah could not think of their brothers in Russia when reviewing Philippians, this week’s Bible reading? The imprisoned Paul writes: “Now I want you to know, brothers, that my situation has actually turned out for the advancement of the good news, so that my prison bonds for the sake of Christ have become public knowledge among all the Praetorian Guard and all the rest. Now most of the brothers in the Lord have gained confidence because of my prison bonds, and they are showing all the more courage to speak the word of God fearlessly.” (Philippians 1:12-14) It is the case with Witnesses in Russia, isn’t it? They are holding up pretty well, by…

WHAT DOES TRUMP THINK ABOUT PUTIN’S WAR ON RELIGION? BYÂ ROMAN LUNKINÂ ON 8/12/17 AT 12:20 AM This article first appeared on the Wilson Center site. Just ten years ago, it would have been hard to imagine that the crackdown on civic activism in Russia would target religious communities, not just NGOs. And yet it is happening. The Russian state persecutes Baptists, Pentecostals, and Adventists and closes down Orthodox parishes that are …

Before deciding to date it is important you pay close attention to the person you are interested in. How do they treat others? Are they spiritually mature? How do they handle money matters? How do they handle responsibility? What are their strengths? What are their weaknesses? There is never a reason to settle for less. We don’t need to look for perfection, but when it is clear that they require a ton of assembly or when they don’t have very important qualities or skills needed to make a marriage a success, we would be wise to hold off from pursing a courtship. Normally, when purchasing an item we do research to make sure we are getting the best quality. Why would we do a…

What change will take place regarding the brothers who take the lead on earth during the great tribulation?

this is the first time I have seen this in print:14 During the great tribulation, a change will take place regarding the brothers who take the lead on earth. At some point, all anointed ones who are still on earth will be gathered to heaven to share in the war of Armageddon. (Matt. 24:31; Rev. 2:26, 27) This means that the Governing Body will no longer be with us on earth. However, the great crowd will remain organized. Capable brothers from among the other sheep will take the lead. We will need to show our loyalty by supporting these brothers and by following their God-given direction. Our survival will depend on it!

GB claims how they are not "inspired". They also claim that the Organization is "spirit-guided". There is also an idea that God has always had his organization on Earth, the first being the Old Nation of Israel, and then First Assembly at the time of the Apostles, and after long centuries of darkness organization appeared again in 1879 as WT Society. So, we have three organizations in three time periods. Who has guided, led these organizations? We see that organizations were guided by people. The first was Moses, then the Judges and Prophets, the Kings, and then the Apostles and today is The GB. According to the present claims of this modern organization of God, it i…
