We had a special multi-language public witnessing day in Winchester, UK today - despite the wet weather! The photo shows just some of the many brothers and sisters who took part. A great witness was given and encouraged all of us so much to continue in endeavouring to reach people from every nation, tribe, people and tongue with the good news! 16 You open your hand... And satisfy the desire of every living thing. Give me neither poverty nor riches.—Prov. 30:8. Jehovah does not want his servants to live in abject poverty, and migration is one of the oldest remedies for poverty. (Ps. 37:25) To avoid starvation, the patriarch Jacob sent his sons to Egypt to buy food. (Gen. 42:1, 2) Today, most who choose to emigrate do not leave their homes because they are starving. They may, however, be laboring under crushing debt. Others simply desire to raise their family’s standard of living. In Jesus’ day, many people were likewise poor and disadvantaged, and they may have felt that they would be happier and more…

Hotels in Penticton are looking forward this June to the return of one of the biggest annual conventions hosted at the South Okanagan Events Centre. This will be the fourth of five Jehovah's Witnesses conventions scheduled for the SOEC, drawing more than 3,000 church members to the South Okanagan. The annual conventions are a spiritual highlight for Jehovah’s Witnesses, focusing on bible education. Annually, seven million Jehovah’s Witnesses meet in 236 countries. In 2013, the South Okanagan Events Centre announced the signing of a five-year contract with the Jehovah’s Witnesses of Canada. This year, the convention takes place June 10-12 with the program beginni…

Psychedelic rainbow clouds. These ones are over Mt. Everest. It is said that this marvel is created from tiny ice crystals that are found within the center of these clouds. Light from the sun reflects off of each and every ice crystal causing a rainbow effect. It just so happens that the sun and the clouds were aligned at exactly the right spot for this effect to occur. Jehovah gives us little surprises throughout the day. How perfect. View the full article

“For family worship, we went out to the trails to see Jehovah’s creation. We wrote down what we saw, observed and what they tell us about Jehovah! It’s wonderful to teach our children about creation this way and by writing down what we think, the more we appreciate the works of our Grand Creator!” By @shebot123 View the full article

“Family study /who is a guest in Jehovah’s tent? Decided to continue the theme from our Christian life and ministry workbook on who is a guest in Jehovah’s tent and psalms 11. So we made different tents and worked out the kind of people that Jehovah allows in and the ones he doesn’t. We also discussed about the kind of people we associate with in our own homes and which tent we want to be in!” By @alisonelson View the full article

We had fun making this board game! Roll the dice. Land on JW.org, JWlibrary or guess who and you pick up the cards for questions. Land on Caleb and Sofia and tell something about what you love about them. Land on heart and say something nice about a brother or a sister. Land on notes and we sing a kingdom or original songs. Land on the bible and tell your favorite scripture! Photo shared by @shebot123 View the full article
