The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.—1 Cor. 15:45. How would mankind be freed from their struggle with inherited imperfection? Jehovah provided for a Kingdom government made up of “the last Adam” and chosen associates from among mankind. (Rev. 5:9, 10) Those associated with Jesus in heaven will have experienced what it means to be imperfect. For a full thousand years, their joint rulership will provide assistance to those on earth, helping them to overcome the imperfection that they could not conquer on their own. (Rev. 20:6) By the end of the thousand years of Kingdom rule, obedient mankind will have been liberated from all enemies introduced by Adam’s disobed…

“We have 2 kids, ages 7 & 9….We used a game of Jenga to demonstrate how bad traits like selfishness weaken us, and a self-sacrificing spirit strengthens us. Based on the 3/15/14 watchtower article. First we took turns giving examples of selfish behavior (not doing assigned talks without a good reason, disobeying parents, Not participating in hall cleaning, etc) and taking a block out with each selfish act until the tower fell (the tower growing with each selfish act went along with 1 cor 10:12). Then we rebuilt the tower with holes and played "reverse jenga”, sharing examples of a self sacrificing spirit (bringing a meal to an older one, accepting counsel, dedication…

Hello, my wife and I were happy to be able to attend our Memorial for the second year in a row, since three years ago I had to listen the memorial over the phone in the hospital while my wife was unconscious fighting for her life (while I was also fighting with the doctors trying to make sure they wouldn’t do I blood transfusion according to her will) since she was losing a lot of blood due to and complicated internal bleeding…the average range for hemoglobin levels for a healthy person is between 12 to 16…Her hemoglobin levels went down to 2.2… Anyways, thanks to Jehovah she survived and was able to be loyal to Jehovah. I just wanted to share that with all my brothers a…

He was born Nov. 19, 1971, at Inspiration Hospital in Miami, Ariz. David was beloved by all who knew him, from the family who worked with him to his spiritual family who loved him to the end. We are having a major blizzard in Colorado, USA. The Memorial meeting at the halls were cancelled. The direction was to have the Memorial in our homes and if possible invite others if they can get through the snow. We could also watch and listen to the Australian branch Memorial over the computer if need be. It felt like being at the Passover in an upper room. What wonderful Heavenly Father and organization we belong to! Photo shared by @mtsurran View the full article

Sainsbury's apologises after customer refused black pudding because chef was Jehovah's Witness
by Guest Nicole- 0 replies
Supermarket giant Sainsbury's has been forced to apologise to a customer who was told he couldn't have black pudding with his full English because the chef was a Jehovah's Witness. Customer Alan MacKay had popped into the store's café in Arnold, Nottingham, for breakfast after dropping his wife off at work. But he was shocked when he was told he couldn't have black pudding - which is made of animal blood and fat - because of the chef's religious views. Jehovah's Witnesses regard blood as sacrosanct, and won't eat an animal unless it has been bled according to their beliefs. Mr MacKay said he was given a full refund by the store, and that he returned ho…

Memorial Date After Sundown Wednesday, March 23. 2016 You have an anointing from the holy one.—1 John 2:20. Only those who have the witness of the spirit that they are God’s children should partake of the Memorial emblems. Those who have received “a spirit of adoption as sons” are God’s spirit-begotten children. His spirit bears witness with their spirit, giving them the realization that they are Jehovah’s anointed sons. (Rom. 8:16, 17) Today, there is only a remnant of the 144,000 footstep followers of Christ, who “have an anointing from the holy one,” Jehovah. It is by means of his spirit that they cry out, “Abba, Father!” (Rom. 8:15) What a blessed relati…
