These flowers are somewhat bat-shaped, are up to 12 inches across, and have long ‘whiskers’ that can grow up to 28 inches. The books were among 47 items seized when Christian prisoner of conscience Yklas Kabduakasov was arrested. Prosecutor Temirlan Adilkhanov, who led the case in court, told Forum 18 he "can't remember" in what ways the books might have caused harm to anyone. Evelyn Bryan, 97 of Cadiz passed away Tuesday, March 15, at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. She was born Oct. 16, 1918 in Jewett, Ohio a daughter of the late Walter and Mildred Brennan Jones. She was a former time keeper for the former Y&O Coal Company and owned the J&E Laundromat in Cadiz. She was a member of the Cadiz Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents; by her husband, Howard “Jack” Bryan in 2011 and three brothers: William E., Robert and Earl Jones.
