MENA — James Morgan Mitchell, 92, of Mena died Thursday, March 10, 2016, in Mena. He was born Feb. 11, 1924, in Indiana. He worked for IBM in electronic technology and was a Jehovah’s Witness. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Mena under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home in Mena. I remember from March 1963, at the beginning of the elementary school year at Gbatala, Bong, Liberia, that on the first day of classes many of my schoolmates from the previous year were not in attendance. You can see it in *Sheepshead bay holocaust memorial park*. Our brave brothers and sisters went through so much, staying neutral and obeying JEHOVAH. - May we all in the near future put our full trust and obedience in JEHOVAH no matter what comes our way..... agape' everyone. What a great witness ! When all other religions were fighting and killing each other. Jehovah's witnesses were sent willingly to their deaths to stand up for what they believed. We had the option to join the fight and live. But we choose to do what Jesus taught us. We refuse to be part of this wicked system and it's Satan misled governments.
