Last September (2017), there was internet info regarding a $66 million dollar lawsuit being filed against Jehovah's Witnesses in Canada, for Child Abuse / Pedophilia. I haven't been able to find out any more information this year and would be very pleased if someone could update me on outcome or ongoing situation. http://friendlyatheist.patheos.com/2017/10/23/jehovahs-witnesses-hit-with-66-million-sexual-abuse-lawsuit-in-ontario/ This is probably not a good link to add but it's just one of many online.

A truck driver who was using his mobile phone when he killed a grandmother by ploughing into her car has been jailed for five years. David Shields, 34, was caught on camera inside his cab scrolling on his device for a full 18 seconds leading up to the collision last February. He tried to brake at the last second, but his recovery truck smashed into the back of missionary worker Yvonne Blackman's car as she queued in traffic on the A75 in Dumfries. Footage has now been released showing Shields, from Drongan, East Ayrshire, checking his phone before noticing Ms Blackman's car at the last second. At the High Court in Glasgow on Friday, Shields was also ba…

.."he calls Jehovah ‘the God of Abraham and God of Isaac and God of Jacob.’ . He is a God, not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him.” LUke 10:37-38. Start from the Scripture. You can't go wrong.

But when grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and do not regard the majesty of the Lord." - Is. 26:10 JWorg said how JW members living in Spiritual Paradise (land) that exist now on Earth in the middle of satan world. Does in such Paradise today, among JW members exists this two group of people, unrighteous and wicked? Because verse said how that is not possible and how showing grace to such ones will not do any good. - @Srecko Sostar

“...’the angel of Jehovah camps all around those fearing Him,’ — so by means of His powerful angels, Jehovah can shield His faithful worshipers from harm, IF IT BE HIS WILL...” — from opening remarks in Watchtower’s Attendant Training Video It appears that it wasn’t/isn’t Jehovah’s will to protect children from being sexually abused within His own congregations. It appears that these powerful angels are shielding no one, if He isn’t protecting these most vulnerable amongst us. Frankly, it appears that it isn’t Jehovah’s will to protect His people in general.

So where does that leave all those JW Elders that are guilty of Child Abuse, or guilty of hiding the Child Abuse within the Org ? Where doe it leave the Governing Body that deliberately makes the rules to hide the Pedophiles and refuses to cooperate with the law of the land, even though it does not conflict with God's laws ? Are they unrighteous or wicked ?

So I’m getting a bit paranoid, just want to check something. Can whoever is in charge of the Kingdom Hall WiFi see what people have been doing on it? And can they see the name of the device that is doing it? Thanks!

So... a quick question to educate me (and others) Why are they ALL wearing orange robes of some sort? The robes appear to be of the same color that buddhist monks use. If the color is just a choice of personal style... then why are they ALL wearing the same choice?

You are saying that indeed, and I am sorry you got that impression because the GB don't view themselves that way. So what gives you that impression? Well Anna, i see that in this way. Perhaps it is true how GB nowhere say this in such way and by that your impression is correct. But answer on the question, "Do GB view themselves in that way, as "substitution for" Jesus?" is something that in private conversation will be interesting to hear. And then our "impression" would/will be more clear. Therefore, we are ambassadors+ substituting for Christ,+ as though God were making an appeal through us. As substitutes for Christ, we beg: “Become reconciled t…

Your thoughts on today's lesson? [paragraph 1] Who of us would not want to be on his side?...Still, some of God’s worshippers have wavered when a situation called for them to take sides with Jehovah. in paragraph 2.

How many of them do you want answered? We went round and round on a prior thread and you just repackage your questions and run them through again. The verse says: ‘Taste and see that Jehovah is good.’ If you tasted and saw that he was bad, what can I say? Check your taste buds. But you can just as easily say it to me. It may be that you should be praying to The LORD. It is the GB that brings God’s name to the fore, nearly everyone else seeks to bury it, and you have made clear that you don’t trust the GB as far as you can spit.
