We are all familiar with the story of Esau and Jacob. Esau, during a moment of hunger, impetuously sold his birthright for a bowl of stew. In that one moment, we see the inclination of Esau’s mind on the earthly, fleshly needs overpowering his faith and sustenance in God. His act of eating the bread and stew showed that Esau “despised” his birthright, or viewed it as worthless, not only when filling his stomach, but indicating faith was never fully directed toward God. Gen 25:33,34 However, when it was time for Isaac to bestow blessings on his sons, Esau still expected to receive the birthright of the older son. Gen 27:36 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?sea…

Normally the progression is from Part 2 directly to Part 3. It should be here as well, except that Serena Williams reached a landmine of her career in the interim and it cannot be passed over. At the U.S Open she made headlines for converting a physical loss into a moral win. But it depends on who you talk to. If you didn’t like her before, you will dislike her more. If you liked her before you will like her more. IÂ’ll take the latter. Part 2.5: The U.S. Open ref with the poofy hair penalized her three times, only the second of which was a slam-dunk for real. When youÂ’re hot, youÂ’re hot, and she blew up at him. Not at first when she said: “We donÂ’t have any…

("They lost roughly three-quarters of the movement between 1925 and 1928, then suffered huge losses after 1975, when the end didn't come as they had implied over and over again," said Jim Penton, an ex-Witness who writes entries on Jehovah's Witnesses for the Encyclopedia Americana.)

Meanwhile, the Federal Police continues to investigate the incident after the arrest of Adélio Bispo de Oliveira, author of the attack, for whom work  four lawyers, paid according to them by a faithful of the church of Jehovah's Witnesses Montes Claros, who frequented the family of the suspect. However, the church has denied in a press conference any relationship with these lawyers and that neither the man nor his family are parishioners of the same.  Â

Personally, I believe that what Serena stands for in her social projects is truly worthwhile. One of the video I've put out shows that she is socially active in many areas of American community life. She stands for high school education and university higher education. Includes self in health programs. In charitable actions. She is UNICEF ambassador. Have Philanthropic projects. Helping on Community violence. She is Partnership with Equal Justice Initiative. One have said: "She's talking when others are being quite." She started Annual charity run. She is Ambassador for the Allstate Foundation, a purple plus project for domestic abuse victims. Basically, first plea…

Hi folks, You may have noticed quite a number of changes to the entire site over the last few days. Hopefully you will all enjoy your new home(s) depending on language. This should end up better for everyone so that the site can enjoy many different groups rather than be dominated by ONE large one. This new simplified view should work better.... I would also add that not one post was lost during the transition. and if you can't find something... the search bar above should be very powerful. Thanks to the @The Librarian for his understanding. Take care everyone! @admin

No sooner did I liken Serena Williams to Queen Esther for her possible future role of exposing the evildoers, than someone said: “Um, sheÂ’s not exactly Queen Esther, you know. DidnÂ’t she appear bare-naked, unmarried, and pregnant on that Vanity Fair cover? And you know that birth is not like the one of Mary.” Well, I actually hadnÂ’t thought of that, if I ever knew it in the first place. Still, it changes nothing. She openly acknowledges she likes the faith but has not practiced it. Now she means to. Is it a bad thing when she has, in the past, called herself a JehovahÂ’s Witness? You know, ordinarily, yes. But in this case, not necessarily. People love celeb…

Past tense since the watchtower predicted armageddon so many times? 1877 'The End Of This World; that is the end of the gospel and the beginning of the millennial age is nearer than most men suppose; indeed we have already entered the transition period, which is to be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation Dan. 12:3." (N.H. Barbour and C.T. Russell, Three Worlds, and the Harvest of This World, p. 17). 1888 "In this chapter we present the Bible evidence proving that the full end of the times of the gentiles, i.e., the full end of their lease of dominion, will be reached in A.D. 1914; and that the date will be the farthest limit o…

This phrase is never used outside of the JW world either. I often wonder how we think that a post, comment or even one action of a superstar, or ANYTHING that happens on this little blue speck of a planet in the Universe could even tarnish one iota the reputation of the Sovereign of the UNIVERSE? We take ourselves too seriously sometimes I think. (or we think we are somehow important in the big scheme of things)

This is what the "assembly hall/kingdom hall" looks like on Google Maps. Here's a link to the Google Maps listing. I've never seen a kingdom hall with a Facebook Page either. I also noticed there is an image of peculiar private rooms on their FB page. If this is true, it is very concerning to me. I do not agree with our organization using a masonic/illuminati symbol and would like an explanation.

After much prayerful reflection on the Scriptures, I have come to the realisation that the true identity of the “generation” Jesus spoke of at Matthew 24:34 may soon be revealed. There Jesus said, “This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.” I think the understanding JehovahÂ’s Witnesses currently hold on this scripture is incorrect. I believe that Joel chapter 2 will have a second fulfillment in the last days of this complete world system, just as it had a primary fulfillment in the last days of the Jewish system at Pentecost 33 CE. At that time true Christians were sealed with Holy Spirit. I believe that there will be yet another true sp…

Whelp, it “only” took two years, but they finally had closing on the Halifax, PA KH that they stole from the folks that paid for it Because of expansion in the area, it was built in 1985, had a mortgage of about 80k, and then a renovation / pavement mortgage of about 50k. Also the land was purchased outright by a widow, and donated, which was about $26,400. Shuttered the place in 2016. Closed on it last week. Started with approx 100 pubs. Closed with approx 70 pubs. And now that money goes to those sons of bitches. Awesome. GIS Info - Flair Me

Nebraska Medicine performs first ever bloodless stem cell transplant on Jehovah's Witness

OMAHA, Neb. — In its more than 30 years of transplant operations, Nebraska Medicine has reached a new milestone by successfully performing a bloodless stem cell transplant on a Jehovah's Witness. Doctors believe it's not only the first time for the hospital but the entire state of Nebraska. Nearly nine months ago, doctors diagnosed Vincenzo Neri with ultra-high-risk myeloma, which is a cancer of the blood cells. "I had this pain, and I went to the doctor and they did an MRI and found out that I had cancer," Neri said, who lives in Bellevue. The disease is typically treated through chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. While Neri received that treatm…

This weeks Watchtower - Paragraph 7 says, “In recent years, many countries have experienced an influx of refugees. What can you do to help such ones come to know Jehovah and his purpose.” They may as well have just said, “In recent years, many countries have experienced an influx of refugees. These refugees are usually frightened, have lost loved ones, had to leave them behind or have fled for their lives. They are emotionally vulnerable and will be easily susceptible to any messages of hope and promises of friends, community and support, take advantage of this to reel them in”. Â
