At the end of the day in Wt. land, the words of men out rule the words of God and Jesus Christ.  Just watch, the majority of JWs will follow the impractical, when told to.

It can’t stand her sins any longer.  It will ‘hate the harlot, 'make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire’; which pretty much means the organization’s governing leaders will be ripped up one side and down the other.  Once the Harlot is gone, a symbolic “10 kings” (those anointed who should be following Jesus Christ, Rev 1:5; 5:9,10) “receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast.” (Rev 17:12)  Who else is part of this development, the “eighth” horn/king?  Well, who rules over the anointed?  Who “represent the royal priesthood”?  Who have the authority to judge the anointed? (Rev 17:11; Dan 8:9,11,12)

So, at this point the "horn" is still waging war with the saints.  (Rev 17:14; Dan 8:23,24)

Daniel 7:

“I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
¹⁰ A fiery stream issued
And came forth from before Him.
A thousand thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. (The sealed “144,000” )
The court was seated,
And the books were opened.”

Time for judgment to come upon the Beast, and those within it, which includes the anointed who relinquished their royal heavenly authority, by giving it to the Beast.  They “worship” the Beast.  They have accepted its “mark”. The organization means everything to them, as their idol.   (Rev 13:4,16,17) They are the “foolish virgins” who continue to “buy” their oil/spirit/food from the false prophet.  (Matt 25:6-13; Rev 3:15-19; 13:17)

“I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame.”  Dan 7:11

This is how Revelation reads it:

“Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.”  Rev 19:20

Who captured the Beast?  We know that the Beast is the man of lawlessness (which “set itself up” in God’s Temple/"living stones", “standing where it doesn’t belong”.   (Rev 13:18; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Mark 13:14; 1 Pet 2:5,9)  We know that Jesus is the one who captures and destroys the Beast.

“And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thess 2:8

At his return, the Beast and false prophet are thrown into the “lake of fire”, representing judgment by God’s word, which is compared to fire.  Jer 23:29  The lake of fire is not a literal place of burning.  It is judgment.

Daniel tells us more of what happens during this time:

“I was watching in the night visions,
And behold, One like the Son of Man,
Coming with the clouds of heaven! (the faithful heavenly anointed, Heb 12:1-3)
He came to the Ancient of Days,
And they brought Him near before Him.
¹⁴ Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom,
That all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
Which shall not pass away,
And His kingdom the one
Which shall not be destroyed.”

You are saying that Jesus doesn’t receivean everlasting dominion and glory and kingdom this kingdom, until a thousand years after Armageddon.  Not so according to Daniel.  He receives this after the Beast has been captured and thrown into the lake of fire. 

“I was watching; and the same horn was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, ²² until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom.

“Thus he said:

‘The fourth beast shall be
A fourth kingdom on earth,
Which shall be different from all other kingdoms, 
And shall devour the whole earth,

(God’s “inhabited earth” referring to the anointed dwelling of God.  (John 14:23; Rom 8:9; 1 Cor 3:16; 6:19; 3:9; Eph 2:19)

Trample it and break it in pieces. (Matt 24:15,16; 2 Thess 2:3,4)
²⁴ The ten horns are ten kings
Who shall arise from this kingdom.
And another shall rise after them;
He shall be different from the first ones,
And shall subdue (abase) three kings. (the same “three” kings that were “plucked out”/disfellowshipped by this beast/ organization (Dan 7:8; Rev 11:1-3,7;13:15)
²⁵ He shall speak pompous words against the Most High,
Shall persecute the saints of the Most High,  Rev 13:5-7
And shall intend to change times and law. (1914! 2034!)
Then the saints shall be given into his hand
For a time and times and half a time.

²⁶ ‘But the court shall be seated,
And they shall take away his dominion,
To consume and destroy it forever.
²⁷ Then the kingdom and dominion,
And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’

These two Beasts, Gog and Magog, will not appear after Armageddon.  There is no more war after Armageddon, there is no chance these “saints” will be surrounded when they have received their kingdoms through this verdict, that happens when the Beast is captured and thrown into the lake of fire.  This is the end of all war.  (Rev 20:7-9) (Rev 21:4,5)  Do you see that “all dominions shall serve and obey Him”?  There will not be a time of deceit (Rev 20:7,8) a thousand years into the Kingdom, when people will not serve and obey Him, even though your leaders teach it will happen. It teaches that many will fall, that they will be destroyed with Satan. They will have been deceived.  How can that be in a righteous  setting when the sheep and the goats have already been judged - ALL who have lived on this earth?   I remember being taught about the thousand years after Armageddon, and thinking, where did the promise of no more tears or suffering or pain go? 

This is a prophesy in Daniel 7 after Revelation’s Beast is conquered;  and prophesies hold true: “ But the saints of the Most High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.’  Dan. 7:18

Again, this is when the Beast organization has been slain at the time of Armageddon. So, tell me, if these words are true, what good would it do to have Satan show up a thousand years later to “surround the saints” and deceive them?  They’ve already been proven faithful and victorious over Satan and his Beast. (Rev 15:2; 7:9,13-15)  They did not love their lives more than giving testimony of Christ in front of the Beast organization/elder body. (John 12:25; 16:1,2; Rev 11:7; 13:15; 6:9-11)  They will have already possessed the kingdom - forever.  (Rev 12:10,11). 

The “thousand years” ended with the emergence of this deceitful Beast and the false prophet that propagated it.  (2 Pet 3:17; 1 Tim 4:1; Rev 8:10,11; 9:1-4; 20:3,7)

You took 1 Cor 15 and cut it up to suit a false teaching. 

1 Cor 15:23 - But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, (all previous faithful anointed, James 1:18) afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.” > Those who gained victory over the Beast, are with Christ at his coming.

1 Cor 15:24 - “Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. “

What is that kingdom that he delivers to God?  Look in the Happiness book, chapter 16, par. 13.   It truthfully states that Jesus began reigning over his anointed congregation/body since the first century.  (Ps 110:1,2)  He formulated his “kingdom” of faithful, sealed anointed “144,000” since then.    His “enemies” are the unfaithful “kings” who defied his teachings.

That authority and rule that he puts an end to, also has to do with Jesus slaying the powerful Beast and his enemy the “false prophet”, that held authority and power over God’s holy people; the Beast from the Sea was slain “by the breath of his mouth”.  2 Thess 2:8

1 Cor 15:25 – “For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. ²⁶ The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.”   

How does that occur?  Satan is thrown into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet are.  Rev 20:10

But also, look what is happening further in Rev 20:11-14 after “Gog and Magog”/the false prophet and the beast organization of Rev. 13, have been thrown into the lake of fire:

“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.” Rev 20:11

Compare this to Dan. 7:9 which speaks of the Ancient of Days sitting on His throne; and remember that Daniel tells us that this happens after the Beast is conquered at the time of Armageddon – not a thousand years into the Kingdom. 

Rev 20:12,13 speaks of books being opened.  Compare this to Dan. 7:10 – books were opened. 

1 Cor 15:26 - The last enemy that will be destroyed is death. 

Compare:  Rev 20:13-15 - The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. ¹⁴ Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. ¹⁵ And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Gog and Magog are very active at “surrounding the saints” now.  Gog – an Israelite/ a fallen anointed of “Israel” – your GB.  Magog – the organization/man of lawlessness/Beast/elder body/army that “surrounds the saints” through deceit.  They “make war” using blasphemous words against God’s anointed holy people.    They judge them through disfellowshipping.   Remember, the elder body’s position as (counterfeit) priests “cannot be challenged”. 

One more thing for any JWs who have read this far.  Since you comfortably accept the elder body’s role, without concerning yourself with Jesus’ feeling on the matter, consider this.  Can you imagine Jesus telling his called priests of “Israel”, who have received the “circumcision of the heart”, to remove their symbolic royal garments and step down from being his priests?  Would Jesus say, “hand your royal robes over to the elder body” –  to “uncircumcised” spiritual “Gentiles”. God has never poured out His spirit into the hearts of men who desire to “secure the priesthood” and remove their daily sacrifices.  (Dan 8:12; 12:11; Rev 11:2)  (Rom 2:28,29; 5:5; 1 John 2:27)  Can you imagine Jesus saying, ‘listen to these unanointed men, they have been given authority over you with the ability to judge your spiritual stand, before me.’ (Rom 6:16)  It is blasphemous, and never would have occurred in the first century.   (Gal 1:10)  (Isa 63:18; Dan 8:24)

THE NAME OF IAHVEH.

It is very possible that the long history of religion, which, starting from the nomad's tent, has resulted in Christianity or Islamism, derives from primitive Assyria, or from Accadian Assyria, as it is called, another element of capital importance; that is, the name of Iahoué or Iahveh. * This proper name is, in the theology of the nomad Semite, a strange misuse of terms.  Why should a proper name be given to one who has no congener, who is alone of his kind? The name was in all probability borrowed by these peoples from abroad.

 

Since the earliest form of God’s name was sung without it being scripted (Poetry), then we can only hope the name Jehovah comes as close as it was sung millennia ago. It would be more fitting to respect our creator with a personal name than just a title of supreme being (God-Elohim) or to structure his name by just the tetragrammaton, Yhwh. Remember, some original Israelites along with many nations corrupted, God's name by comparing it to other Gods like Baal.

It’s with later copyist that we assume Jesus didn’t use God’s name because the Greeks and Romans (Latin) challenged God’s name of the Jews while the Jews became fearful enough to use God's name and instead substituted many variations of God's title such as, Abba, Ali, Elohim, Théos or Kyrios instead of God’s personal name.

 

In Hebrew, ʾehyeh is a first-person singular and yhwh looks like a third-person singular—though perhaps one would have expected a present tense (the usual unhappy English translation) to be marked by a perfect form rather than an imperfect form which seems never to be used in that way. It is also rather unusual for a name to be made up solely of a third-person finite verb, rather than containing a shortened form of a verb. But perhaps the most obvious question is, what is the divine name here—ʾehyeh ʾasher ʾehyeh, ʾehyeh, or yhwh? Yhwh clearly, and the second, sole, ʾehyeh, which functions in 14b as a proper name perhaps, but what of the initial declaration? 

 

With this observation above and it's reasoning, one can argue the trinity. However, is it realistic? Can we use the Greek name of supreme being Zeus to be compared to God?

Derivation and Meaning of the Name

The name Jehovah is derived from the Hebrew verb havah, “to be,” or “being.” This word is almost exactly like the Hebrew verb, chavah, “to live,” or “life.” One can readily see the connection between being and life. Thus, when we read the name Jehovah, or Lord in capital letters, in our Bible we think in terms of being or existence and life, and we must think of Jehovah as the Being who is absolutely self-existent, the One who in Himself possesses essential life, permanent existence. It is worth observing in this connection that the Hebrew personal pronoun translated “he” in our Bible is strikingly similar in the Hebrew to the verb havah, which means being. And in some significant passages, the word he, used of God, is the equivalent to the true and eternal God, that is, the One who always exists, eternal and unchangeable.

 

The purpose of the JW.org, to use Jehovah in the O.T. and N.T. seems simple enough. To differentiate between Father and Son, when a conflict appears with, the title (Lord) is used. Regardless of the script and lettering, under the Hebrew language with old script and new linguist changes. The use of (J) and or (Y) is most appropriate. Therefore, the most appropriate use of Yahweh is for the old script and Jehovah is for the new standard on linguistics and is in line with the Hebrew Language of old.

The thing to realize with the consonants YHWH is, all the modern vowels are included in every way. (A), (E), (O), and the consonant letter (V) are part of the Hebrew consonant system by its sound. Therefore, Jehovah is the most appropriate sounding personal name of God as indicated by the Hebrew Language, given by the illustration above.

God's Sacred and Holy Name...

Beautiful isn't it? How do you react when seeing God's Sacred and Holy Name? Are you overcome with a wondrous and overwhelming awe? If you were to enter into a Personal Relationship with someone whom you deemed special or important, what is the first thing you would want to know about that Person? What is Your Name?

Think about it, how well could you build a personal and intimate relationship with someone if you don't even know their name? The Bible states, "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you indecisive ones." (James 4:8) Notice it requires action on your part, first? The Bible is like a mirror, it reflects your thoughts and inner person, the person you really are. "For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints from the marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)

Question: If you met someone you really like, and I mean you really want to get to know this person, the first thing you want to know is their name. The second thing you want them to know is Your Name. Right? Suppose that person doesn't care to want to know your name at all? How would you Feel? If you don't care to learn about Jehovah, then why should he care about you? But he does care about you, more than you can ever imagine. Stop hurting him.

The proof that you do care, is that you are reading this article right now. Researching the Bible, reading the articles, learning, and yes, drawing closer to God. It's a process. Jesus Christ told his followers, "No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him, and I will resurrect him on the last day." (John 6:44) Jehovah sent his only begotten Son for you, even before you knew about God's Precious Name. "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

Jehovah Witnesses are proud to bear the Name of the true God, JEHOVAH. "Symʹe·on has related thoroughly how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name." (Acts 15:14) “"I am the One who declared and saved and made known When there was no foreign god among you. So you are my witnesses, declares Jehovah, and I am God." (Isaiah 43:12)

Slandering or belittling God's Sacred and Holy Name can be bring certain death for the abuser. "So the abuser of Jehovah’s name should be put to death without fail. The entire assembly should stone him without fail. The foreign resident should be put to death the same as the native for his abusing the Name." (Leviticus 24:16)

Here's where it really pays to study. Satan is tricky, he tries to get people from using God's Name altogether. How? By removing God's Sacred and Holy Name from the Bible. This act of not using God's Name is a grave and serious sin, a willful act. "They intend to make my people forget my name by the dreams they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot my name because of Baʹal." (Jeremiah 23:27) The Hebrew word used in taking God's Name in vain can also mean 'emptiness' or 'void' as in making worthless, belittling, or something of little value or treat as ordinary.

Rather, God's Name is a Protection. "The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. Into it the righteous one runs and receives protection." (Proverbs 18:10) "At that time those who fear Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion, and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening. And a book of remembrance was written before him for those fearing Jehovah and for those meditating on his name." (Malachi 3:16)

"During his life on earth, Christ offered up supplications and also petitions, with strong outcries and tears, to the One who was able to save him out of death, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear." (Hebrews 5:7)

Why even bother with Latin ? it's not an original means of how Scripture was written.  

I know. I was exposing your hypocrisy. The latin language did not have a "J" or "Y".  So the catholic grammarian Gian Giorgio Trissino was speaking about the Latin Language. That's why he was triynig to compare the letter "I" in Latin to the letter "J" in English.

 The letter J can be prounced two ways Jah as in Jam or G as in Gee. Jah-ovah or Gee-ovah. The J could be the latter as Jesus is often prounced as Gee-sus. So the decpetion that Jehovah is latinized is apostate thinking.  One could say the same thing about the name Jesus is also Latinized but this is not true.  The Latin Name for God is IEHOVAH and is easily detected as LATIN.

Sadly, there are almost 2.8 Billion people on earth who believe in a false gospel of the trinity for salvation. It never admits that “Jesus is Lord” nor does it make the claim that God raised Jesus up from the dead.  It promotes a false gospel of salvation.  “For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those not acknowledging Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.” (2 John 7)  

The trinity is completely foreign to the Bible and can not be found in any of its’ passages. If you looked up the trinity doctrine, you would have to close the Bible and look into apostate books that have the man-made doctrine.  The three persons have no names.  It is a generic formula borrowed and copied from pagan religions.  Jesus Christ is completely absent from the trinity doctrine.  Will you accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior today? (2 Peter 3:18)

Many Religions have removed God's Holy and Sacred Name claiming Jehovah is a made up Name. If that was true, then why leave names in the Bible that bear witness to the Name JEHOVAH, like Jesus, John, and Elijah along with many others??

Jehovah’s Witnesses and other Sacred Name groups lit up the Internet last week when Religion News Service claimed, “The original Hebrew name of God re-discovered in 1,000 Bible manuscripts.” At first glance, it sounds like the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has perhaps been vindicated after all for inserting the name Jehovah into their New World Translation:

On January 21, 2018, Bible Scholar Nehemia Gordon and his team of researchers discovered the 1,000th Hebrew Bible manuscript containing the original name of God in Hebrew with vowels.

For two hundred years, scholars have believed based on Greek sources and conjecture that the Hebrew name of God was originally pronounced “Yahweh.” In late 2016, Gordon found never-translated traditional Jewish sources that explicitly identified the vowels of God’s name in Hebrew as “Yehovah.” This is similar to the English Jehovah, but with a “Y” and the emphasis on the final syllable.

This article, however, is more hype than reality. Nehemia Gordon is the leading light in a “revival” of a sect called Karaite Judaism. The Karaites originated in the late eighth century AD. They adhered, as do today’s proponents, to the written text of the Old Testament only, refusing both the Talmud and rabbinic traditions. They considered themselves purists, restoring true Judaism. They regarded use of anything other than the Old Testament as Pharisaism. Some of the Hebrew Roots Movement have been drawn to Gordon because he seems a bit friendly toward Jesus, yet he outright rejects the idea that Jesus is the Messiah.

But what are we to make of the article’s claim of manuscript evidence for this Yehovah pronunciation of God’s name?

Somewhere during the ninth and tenth centuries, a group called the Masoretes arbitrarily put vowels into the Old Testament text in an attempt to standardize pronunciations. The particular Hebrew Manuscript used was the text of ben Ashur. Until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, it was the oldest Old Testament text we had, and every translation team of the newer Bible versions used it. Again, the vowels are arbitrary, put into the text to standardize pronunciation. Wikipedia notes something important:

The ben Ashur text – or most of it – is held by Israel. Some of it is lost. It is called the Keter (Crown) and is also referred to as The Aleppo Codex:

So, what we essentially have is a late Jewish restorationist movement (and you thought we only had that in “Christendom”), adding vowels to the Hebrew text and then claiming a newly discovered confirmation of the pronunciation of God’s name!

So, while the headlines may appear to be a breaking story of newly discovered information, it is not new, and the story is contrived. Realistically, how newsworthy would a headline be, reading “One-thousandth Copy of Tenth Century Hebrew Bible with Vowels Arbitrarily Added Has Been Discovered by the Sect That Added the Vowels”?

Like most Watchtower Society “proofs,” it provides no proof at all — just much ado about nothing.
