Pilate asked Jesus, What is the truth? And Jesus didn't respond. If I ask You, What is "the truth" ... for You?, will you and what you would answer?
Let me help you. If someone had ask you 30, 20, 10, 5, 2,5 years ago what is "the truth" taught by WTJWorg, would you have the same answers as today?
If you stayed in that truth from 30 years ago, because you built it firmly into yourself, then you would not accept "some new truth" that the same organization would offer you later. So the question is; Did the organization "have made the truth their own ”? Obviously not! Well, what is in common for people who stayed and organization who changed?
People who stayed are people described in first part of sentence. People who left have various, different reactions. As for me, for example, i don't see why i would blame organization for not celebrating my birthdays in the past 53 years. :)))
People (can) have regrets for decisions or for either because they were deceived, or because they allowed themselves to be deceived and so on. WTJWorg "institutional settings" are made in such a way that members can rightly have objections and can blame the organization for many injustices and failures. In this sense, I do not see why individuals should be blamed for resenting the “organization” and its "official representatives" or even other ordinary members who were unjust to their fellow believers because of their “blind obedience to the organization”.

@Srecko Sostar Has shown clearly how the Leaders of the Watchtower deliberately deceive the congregation over which they have complete control. Of course the Leaders of the Watchtower / JW org are to blame.  In the 1940s they predicted Armageddon. in the 1960s they again predicted Armageddon. And Srecko has shown that in the 1980s / 90s again the Leaders falsely predicted Armageddon. CRYING WOLF gets them attention, and frightens the congregation, which in turn keeps the congregation under the control of the Leaders.  And of course anyone that disagrees gets disfellowshipped for 'causing a division in the congregation'.  Being d/fed means losing everyone you know, being totally isolated. So, you cannot blame the congregants, they were just doing as they were told.
(As a side note, I had to Google BDSM, I had no idea what it meant. I kinda prove to myself that I am no part of this world)

Wow, I didn't realize that you believe your Watchtower / JW Org / GB to be so Evil.
The leadership of the Watchtower has for many years taken away the free will of it's congregants.
One obvious way was the deliberate misuse of the Superior Authorities scripture, so that congregants had to obey the Org or be 'removed'.
This is a quote from you xero from another topic.
You know, that the core beliefs of JW's don't differ significantly from the bulk of other nontrinitarian religions except in ways which, quite frankly are conscience matters. This is a big issue in my world. Too many brothers want to override or supplant the consciences of others. If there is a defect, that would be it -
And again evil shuns free will.
Point proven.  Hence just one more reason I'm glad I left the JW / Watchtower dishonest, immoral, Organisation.
I actually think it is your Org that has shunned this :-
"I am the way, the truth, the life - no one comes to the father except through me" Jesus said,
What have your Leaders done ?  Refused to baptise people properly. Not using the scripture which says to baptise "In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy spirit"
But telling people that have to be baptised into the JW org. Telling people that they have to be a baptised JW 'to be saved' at Armageddon.

He (Jesus) has told us that the “generation” of 1914—the year that the sign began to be fulfilled—“will by no means pass away until all these things occur.” (Matthew 24:34) Some of that “generation” could survive until the end of the century. But there are many indications that “the end” is much closer than that! - https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1984165
    1) This kid girl told the truth.
    2) Watchtower study magazine made false statement/prediction/prophecy/claim/doctrine.
JW members refusing to play anthem but accepting to believe false doctrines. .... And despite such reality, yours and others JW people reality, you @Arauna ask me "trivial" question about different issue and dare to put me in a box you created for people like me. Funny, unnecessary and missed :))

If research within the JW could be conducted that goes back at least 50 years, I am convinced that a large percentage of similar results would be found. All of them would have in common a collective state of mind due to which their view of the "near future" or the future in general, was influenced by the JW religious view of "tomorrow", and that all this "today and earthly" would fail. And that is why you should not put special effort into anything "material". That no plans should be made for the "earthly," but only for the "spiritual." This “spiritual” is, of course, exclusively within the ideology of the WTJWorg.
There are capable and wealthy people among the JWs. There are those who came to the organization highly educated. There are those JW parents who have sent their children to college before and today. But a large number of members are "ordinary people", who accept "simple (unambiguous) doctrinal assumptions" regarding their position in the social life of the country of which they are citizens and regarding their own identity. For example, what is shown in one congress video / program - a child who has the gift to play the violin should be stopped to go "in the world" and achieve a career as a musician.
Admittedly, I know personally two JWs, a father and a son, violinists, who had problems at work due to their refusal to play the anthem. It is interesting, on the other hand, that I have never heard of them refusing to play another piece of music, and we all, more or less know, that in some compositions or musical performances there are things depicting murders, adulteries, lies and other morally unacceptable things for some JW member. By that logic, a JW musician would often have to refuse to play in an orchestra.
From all this and many other life situations, which you have also heard about, it is evident that an individual or a group of believers cannot be completely “pure within the unclean”. Not even within the "spiritual paradise" of congregation.

("pimi" - physically in, mentally in...the organization)
"My pimi aunt, also elder’s wife, is a good person and cares for people. Some of her kids have left the Borg and she treats them all equally and kindly. She hasn’t shunned members of the family who did get dfd. So at one convention when a sister we all knew was being interviewed on stage about her association with her own disfellowshipped son the sister said: “to me, he’s dead”. Enter major applause from the audience (nuts!!!) and one absolutely horrified and appalled elders-wife auntie. She called me after and told me about it and was just shocked someone could say that about their own kids. I was pimi at the time myself and we both HATED it and Thought it was crazy and what made her equally mad was the mega applause. Sickening! I had to share this story of these brainwashed cult people because any normal person with a heart sees how wrong this is. What was the scripture again about how people won’t have natural affection in the time of the end again? 🤔"
Who is benefitting from this “loving provision” of treating someone as dead?  I suppose only those who are in "good standing" in the organization.  The disfellowshipped one certainly cannot be the recipient of love, if no one acknowledges his or her existence.
What a wicked twist the "spirit-breathed" Wt. has put on the meaning of Christ’s love.   (Matt 7:1; Rev 13:15)

At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.
But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”  John 8:2-11

After all. Abel and company would have seen all manner of predators doing their thing.

Yes for sure, there are people who are highly educated and believe in God as Creator. JW or other religious organizations have in their ranks highly educated people who believe in God. That is a fact.
If we stop after this conclusion, then we have no more problems......
.......Yet we have a problem: But in which Creator God do all these highly educated people and scientists believe? In God of Dr Tour? In God of JW's? What religion does Dr Tour belong to? To what extent will JW's accept the conclusions of Dr. Tour, a scientific believer of the Jewish direction, or of the Baptist direction, etc.? ?
DR Tour said for Adventistorg. If you really study science, it will bring you closer to God.”
But WTJWorg said opposite, You have to study NWT Bible and WTJWorg publications to be closer to God.
Tour does not see a conflict between faith and science, having been quoted as saying, “I build molecules for a living. I can’t begin to tell you how difficult that job is. I stand in awe of God because of what He has done through His creation. Only a rookie who knows nothing about science would say science takes away from faith. If you really study science, it will bring you closer to God.” - https://www.adventistreview.org/church-news/story15332-andrews-university-to-host-origins-lecture-by-distinguished-scientist
He also said: Only a rookie who knows nothing about science would say science takes away from faith.
This is interesting. GB (rookie in Dr Tour mind) say opposite, stay away from higher education because you will loose your faith in JHVH. :))

The essay shows far more than that -- which you'd understand if you actually read it.
It shows that Watchtower writers will lie and generally distort source references to support their supposedly Bible-based traditions. They do this with other subjects as well.
Since Watchtower leaders claim to speak in God's name, but have demonstrably said false things in God's name, they are by definition false prophets and should not be listened to.

Just another form of Creationist religious doctrine. So-called "Intelligent Design" was so declared by conservative U.S. Judge John E. Jones III in the 2004 "creation trial" in Dover, Pennsylvania, where the school board had tried to require teaching ID. The Discovery Institute which promotes it refused to defend its doctrines in the trial, knowing perfectly well that they would not stand up under questioning by competent scientists. The then-darling of the ID people, Michael Behe, was shown to be not only incompetent as a biologist, but also a liar, having grossly misrepresented science books and journals. Behe actually admitted that he viewed astrology as a legitimate scientific theory. Behe, of course, accepts Evolution but believes it was God-guided.
Judge Jones made a number of clear statements in his final decision, including (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitzmiller_v._Dover_Area_School_District):
    <<
... we conclude that the religious nature of ID [intelligent design] would be readily apparent to an objective observer, adult or child.
... the writings of leading ID proponents reveal that the designer postulated by their argument is the God of Christianity.
The overwhelming evidence at trial established that ID is a religious view, a mere re-labeling of creationism, and not a scientific theory.
... we find that the secular purposes claimed by the Board amount to a pretext for the Board's real purpose, which was to promote religion in the public school classroom, in violation of the Establishment Clause.
    >>
The so-called Christians who precipitated the trial were also shown up as liars, the Judge saying, among other criticisms:
    <<
... the Dover School Board members' testimony, which was marked by selective memories and outright lies under oath ...
The citizens of the Dover area were poorly served by the members of the Board who voted for the ID Policy. It is ironic that several of these individuals, who so staunchly and proudly touted their religious convictions in public, would time and again lie to cover their tracks and disguise the real purpose behind the ID Policy.
The breathtaking inanity of the Board's decision is evident when considered against the factual backdrop which has now been fully revealed through this trial.
    >>
    Other observations:
    <<
After the trial, there were calls for the defendants, accused of not presenting their case honestly, to be put on trial for committing perjury. "Witnesses either testified inconsistently, or lied outright under oath on several occasions," Jones wrote. "The inescapable truth is that both [Alan] Bonsell and [William] Buckingham lied at their January 3, 2005 depositions. ... Bonsell repeatedly failed to testify in a truthful manner. ... Defendants have unceasingly attempted in vain to distance themselves from their own actions and statements, which culminated in repetitious, untruthful testimony." An editorial in the York Daily Record described their behavior as both ironic and sinful, saying that the "unintelligent designers of this fiasco should not walk away unscathed." Judge Jones recommended to the US Attorney's office that the school board members be investigated for perjury.
    >>
Just as the Dover School board Christians showed themselves unrepentant liars, so have the JW apologists posting in this thread. Arauna lied about Richard Dawkins but refuses to admit it. She and True Tom Harley claimed that prominent mathematicians have proved that something to do with Evolution is mathematically impossible, but cannot provide links to such 'disproofs' or even supporting arguments. And on and on.
At its root, 'Intelligent Design' is both a Creationist religious doctrine masquerading as real science, combined with the Argument From Ignorance ("I can't understand how this happened, so it didn't"), also known as The Argument From Personal Incredulity. Its proponents are known liars, and most of the major financial backers of its most prominent defender, the Discovery Institute, are extreme Right-Wing Christians whose goal is the establishment of a Christian Theocratic Government in the U.S. and elsewhere.
Jehovah's Witnesses who go along with ID and such are thus supporting "Christendom" and its doctrines, and violating Watchtower precepts against Interfaith -- just as much as are those who go along with the Young-Earth Creationism of  Christian Fundamentalists like Evangelicals and Pentecostals.

    If any other man thinks he has grounds for confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5  circumcised the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born from Hebrews; regarding law, a Pharisee;
And he was Anointed by Jesus Christ as a spiritual Jew.

I really don’t know what you’re talking about.  Paul was a physical Jew.  Phil 3:6,5  At his anointing, Paul became a spiritual “Jew” which @4Jah2me tried to tell you.   Spiritual “Israel” is comprised of a “little flock” of physical Jews and also…”other sheep” of physical Gentiles. (Luke 12:32; John 10:16; Acts 13:45,46; 10:45) They are one anointed flock, now known as spiritual “Jews”…”Israel”… “Jacob”.
“For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace”   Eph 2:14,15
Our physical heritage no longer matters.  We are either “Jews”, by the anointing, “circumcision of the heart”, or “Gentiles” – “uncircumcised”.  (Rom 2:29; Heb 8:10)

Sure, I can grasp the context of the article, it gave the account of Korah, and then twisted its application to excuse the reason for the existence of a "Gentile" organization - The Beast from the Sea that makes war against the saints.  Rev 13:1,2,5-8
Tell me, are the elders "circumcised Jews"?   Are they God's priests?  Or, do they "sit"/rule over the Temple members of God?  2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2
As I said earlier, give me one scripture where God has allowed anyone to serve or represent his priests in His temple.
Is that so hard to ask?

Yes the Leaders of the Watchtower have done this for years.  Misusing scripture about 'the time of the end' to pretend that Armageddon was coming in 1941, and in the late 1960's / early 70's. Then again 'before the end of the century' meaning the year 200.
They deliberately misused the scripture about the Superior Authorities, up until 1962.  Yes only to satisfy themselves.

You know what, we should ALL start with ourselves. It is a good point.   Who or what do we worship?  To  whom have we dedicated our lives?  To what have we dedicates our lives to?  Who's laws do we follow?
WHO DO WE OBEY, God as ruler, or men?
24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And He is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.
Would this scripture be respected in a judicial committee?  No, because the organization needs human hands to build its "temple".  Men's decrees, trump God's Word in the Wt.
26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from any one of us.
Does anyone need to join an organization to find God?  Not according to this scripture.
28 ‘For in Him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
Do new JW converts find God?  Or, do they find an organization that speaks erroneously of God?  And yes, it does speak wrongly of the Father, because it doesn’t respect verse 24 and 25 above.  JWs do not  respect the Temple already being established on Christ, the apostles and the anointed “living stones”. They literally are conditioned to shun the anointed “stones” within your organization.  (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22)
29 “Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill.
Oh, how the organization boasts of its skills and building techniques.  “Jehovah’s organization” – a powerful god to be worshipped.  Rom 1:25; Rev 13:4
30 In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”  Acts 17:24-31

    Exactly.
It is true, God does have enemies – primarily, Satan and his evil influence on hearts, that become filled with evil intentions, sourced in Satan's spirit.  What I noticed in this video is Morris’ delight in the destruction of his enemies.  (Rom 12:19)
God, on the other hand does not delight in seeing wicked people destroyed.
“Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, ‘You have said this: “Our transgressions and our sins are heavy on us, and we are wasting away because of them! How then can we survive?”’ 11 Tell them, ‘As I live—this is the declaration of the Lord God—I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked person should turn from his way and live. Repent, repent of your evil ways! Why will you die, house of Israel?’  Ezek 33:10,11
God forgave Nineveh, which upset Jonah. (Jonah 3:10; 4:1,10,11)   Morris is going further in his own personal condemnation against his enemies, when he has much to answer for in contributing to the “trampling” of God’s Temple.  (Mal 2:8,9; Matt 24:15,24; 1 Pet 2:8; 2 Thess 2:1-4; 1 Tim 4:1; Rev 11:1,2; 13:11-17)
“You have heard that it was said, Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be children of your Father in heaven. For He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Don’t even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers and sisters, what are you doing out of the ordinary? Don’t even the Gentiles do the same? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”  Matt 5:43-48

Unfortunately, most Israelites failed to allow themselves to be led by the Law to Christ ( Matthew 23:15; John 1:11 ). That is why Jehovah God rejected that nation and caused the birth of 'Israel of God'. In addition, he invited non-Jews to become full citizens of this new Israel ( Galatians 3:28; 6:16 ). - https://wol.jw.org/hr/wol/d/r19/lp-c/1995484

I would say that God rejected Israel as a nation, but not as individuals.
Why would he have Jerusalem destroyed in he did not reject it. It wasn't just the place destroyed but the people and the records of their inheritance. I'm sure I've read somewhere that after the destruction in 70C.E. none of the Jews could prove their birth line / family tree.  God replaced physical Israel with Spiritual Israel.

It may be the same kind of problem WTJWorg has regarding the redress scheme in Australia. The Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to sign up, arguing the religion did not have the "institutional settings" needed to be covered by the scheme.
Perhaps South Korea, also, do not have "institutional settings" to please, to meet the requirements (scheme) of JW members about this issue.

As has been brought out, all the trumpeting that is done by JW leaders and JWs in general, about “obeying God as ruler, rather than men” is very flexible, very hypocritical, when it comes listening and obeying secular authorities.  The “rule” is followed when it is convenient for the organization.  It’s that simple.
But my point is, all JWs inside Wt. are obeying men, and not God.  This is where the account in Acts 5 applies.  No man has the right to judge another as “dead” for preaching about Christ’s headship over them, and for rejecting teachings that contradict God’s Word. But, it is happening, probably daily in your organization.
Jesus was judged as a seditionist for obeying the Father, rather than men and their traditions and doctrine. (Mark 7:8,9) The same is happening in the organization when we preach the rulership of Christ over the rulership of the GB and elders.   Their rulership is absolutely bogus and deceptive. (Luke 22:24-27; Matt 24:24; Luke 12:45,46; Rev 13:11-17)  No self-imposed “faithful slave” should expect unwavering obedience to them, or to expect whole-hearted servitude toward their earthly ‘projects’,  under the written proof  that their word contradicts the Word of God.  Even so, if they were teach something right, (because many false prophets can spit out some truth in the Bible) it doesn’t give cause to adopt them as our Head. (Matt 7:15-20)  We don’t become slaves of men.  We follow only God and Jesus.  An authentic faithful slave’s words would be in total harmony with Christ’s truth.
Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?  Rom 6:16
If I offer my devotion to men who have told me lies over the years, am I not a slave to sin?
When Jesus was on earth, he was punished for rejecting the corrupt leadership; yet for those who rejected him he said,
“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”.  Matt 5:44  (what did A. Morris say about his “enemies”)
“Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven”  Luke 12:10  (what is one of the first questions asked in a judicial meeting?  It is whether the person accepts the GB as the “faithful and discreet slave”)
“The one who rejects me and doesn’t receive my sayings has this has his judge.  The word I have spoken will judge him on the last day”.  John 12:48
If we choose Christ’s words over the words of men, does the GB have the authority to judge us as spiritually “dead”?  Absolutely not, but all JWs believe they do.
Do you see?  The worst “enemy” we have, the worst “government” we face that can determine whether we spiritually live or die, is the dual power of the organization. (Dan 2:40-43; Rev 9:1-3,9; Isa 64:8;43:21; 1 Pet 2:5,9,10)   Whether or not a corrupt political worldly element takes our physical life is inconsequential, if we are obedient to the words of Christ.  Because…
“The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.”  John 6:63
There is no eternal life in the words of the uninspired GB.

Srecko Sostar got a reaction from Kick_Faceinator in Did God reject his people (Israel)? WTJWorg quote and Bible verse
I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew... - Rom 11

Srecko Sostar got a reaction from Kick_Faceinator in Constitutional petition filed against alternative military service law. Some folks are never happy.
