No, if it was any other organisation it would be seen as begging for money. It would be seen as cheesy and praying on young children.
But JW's HAVE to support everything their bosses tell them to. Keep worshipping your GB Tom.
As for relief of ‘spiritual hunger’ that is super funny, because the GB cannot even get 'spiritual food' right. Remember Tom your GB ARE NOT inspired and they tend to ERR (tell lies).
Remember those books that we all used to study and believe, that are now not even spoken about because the GB feel shame about even allowing them to be studied. Those books that are now banned. And those magazines from the past that are now so embarrassing to the GB and it's Org. Well those are the type of things that you and others want children to give their money for. Take money from your children and spend it on writing fairy tales and LIES.
Tom, your GB do not know the truth. They do not write the truth. They guess and tell lies. They make it up as they go along. Do you really want children to contribute to that ? It is bad enough that those children have to go to meetings and listen to it.

Have you heard that this is one of the topics?
I hope it is not as cringeworthy as having children donate their ice cream money, and Bro Anthony "Tight Pants Tony" buying a shopping cart full of top shelf Scotch Whiskey.
Perhaps they want the dog food money also?

My wife, Susan,  sent me a link to this from the downstairs computer, of a woman reunited with her dog who somehow got into a shelter.

About which part, Anna?  You wouldn't believe me anyway.  I should correct my use of “own”, with, they reap the benefits of Henrietta Riley Trust that works for the “General Support” of the Watchtower.  It has been presented to them on a platter.  You would be amazed at what “apostates” find, and what Watchtower quickly follows to cover up.
    https://jwsurvey.org/news/facebook-yields-to-watch-tower-subpoenas-jehovahs-witnesses-issue-6-more-to-youtube
This organization benefits from the trust. It would be naïve to believe they have no input in the trust fund's movements.   They also have attended and invested in global hedge funds.
2017 tax return is not included, for some odd reason.

And yes, many JWs "preach" on facebook.  I'm sure they count their hours doing so.  I don't know what the big deal is about believing Lett has a page on facebook. Watchtower benefits from facebook stock.  How easily they accept the commercial world and its beneficial assets, just as easily as they shun someone who rejects the organization.  Such hypocrisy.

Yes, the same company WT owns shares in, where thousands of JWs preach on the organization's behalf, with many joining M. Stephen Lett's personal page.   The more shares WT can buy up, the more influence it will wield over that social media.  They are practicing damage control all over the internet, shutting down as many "apostates" they can.    Now, if they really possessed truth and God's Spirit, why worry what anyone would say about them, or against them?  Jesus didn't.  John 18:36  But, there's is an earthly kingdom, existing with the help of another spirit.  2 Cor 11:4; Rev 13:1,2 As much as I dislike FB, it is an effective way to establish a battle post of truth, against Watchtower lies. (Dan  11:33-35)  And, my "face" is not on there.  I'll keep WT guessing.    Only God's Word is to be elevated,  yet jw dot org, is apparently Watchtower's god of the internet, calling "new light", "present truth"...until their own damage control kicks in, with more "new light".    My, they have so much on their plate to keep up with.           ReplyForward

Does this mean how such JW person will/ have to preach what GB told him to preach contrary to his Understanding?? Because if so, his trumpet not giving clear sound to people around. In other words, such sound is clear only in the ears of GB but not clear in the ear of particular JW and  "unbeliever". Also, in that circumstances, JW person who is not convinced in such doctrine, spreading "false truth" that  is against his own conscience.
Or, in some particular examples we have JW members who NOT Preaching (all sort of preaching, inside and outside congregation) that questionable doctrines and instructions. So much about Unity and Harmony of WT Society if members are not happy with some doctrines. :))

    SCENARIO 89643:
Several Brothers go on a camping trip with relatives, who they have been witnessing to for some time.  One relative decides he wants to be Baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and in the morning they all go to the lake and Baptize him, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit .... with no mention whatsoever of the contract of fealty to the Watchtower or any Earthly organization.
Not a single one of the "100 Questions" was asked .... but in the eyes of God and Christ it was a valid baptism.
What kind of flak can they each expect to get when this new Brother shows up at the Kingdom Hall?

Difference between infant and 6 year old is enormous. When 6 year old decide to join some Religious Structure to be life time member that must be blessing for that child and his parents. To be Unitarian, in your case, or to be Seven Day Adventist or to be JW from such young age is good, firm platform that such individual will stay, in most, Member for Life Time in Particular Organized Religion, and that such Individual will not Changed his Religion when get older. Because such Individual already knows, from age 6, that Only his Religion is Only True One. And how SDA and JW are not True Religions. :))
If that is the case with Your Bible Unitarian Religion, would you like, have wish, that people here on this Forum, and other people, join You to be Unitarians? :)) Or, Unitarianism allows people to be separated in various Religions that hold similar teachings and as such are close to /part of Restoration Movement Family?
If some JW want to be Biblical Unitarian, what he have to do? What teaching of JW he would need to left, to change? Does he have to be baptized again in your Church?

Perhaps 1914 have same significance as 1975. According to calculations made by JW Scholars those two dates means something to them. Maybe to JW Scholars of past time those dates was very important to them and JW members of those period.
It would be interesting to know what JW Scholars of present time thinking about 1914 and 1975 dates? Are those dates have real value for events they represent - 1914 as  end of one period and beginning of another, Kingdom rules and similar. 1975 as 6000 years of humankind on Earth ??!!
Or JW Scholars "rowing" to some new unknown island, where they will find new dates and new meanings for old dates.

Tom, how do you feel about 1914?  Do you realize your message is intertwined around that date?  Are you spreading the truth about God Kingdom to come, or a lie?   You believe the "day of the Lord" began in 1914, or do you?  The organization's leaders keep teaching it...as truth.  However, we know many of the higher-ups wanted to drop it over the years.   Yet, it's still there, dangling as a weak backbone, struggling to support your message.
Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters,  not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.  Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.  He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God. 2 Thess 2:3-4
Your elders have set themselves up in God's Temple, (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17), as a priesthood, proclaiming to be chosen by God's Holy Spirit.  THEY and the GB,  are responsible for the message you preach concerning  the prophesy of the "day of the Lord" as come in 1914.  Do you see that the organization fulfills this scripture?

They are not short, but shorter than the above post.  Maybe that fits the requirement.
The WT leaders have been cunning in revealing bits of truth over the years, but washing it clean away, with fresh lies.  I am referring to Habakkuk, his prophesy and the article I read, which I pointed out that the article doesn’t mention its fulfillment now.    In fact, all the prophets spoke of the Christ, and of the end times.  And what the prophets proclaimed to God’s people during their time period, rings true today. They are in harmony with Jesus’ words that are directed to the “elect” – the anointed ones.  Matt 24:24   God’s people haven’t escaped sin, but are wallowing in it.  It is naïve to think that an earthly organization that runs on Satanic fuel, (any and all resources available in this world) would bring protection to a people; when no other earthly organization in this world can do so. It is a concoction from the minds of men, beginning in the 1940’s.    Relying on it as a protection and way to salvation, is relying on an idol. It is what the fingers of men have made.  Isa 2:8  The apostles didn’t rely on an organization; no anointed one up until the early 1900's relied on an organization to preach and worship as Christ said it was to occur, in John 4:21-24.   Several times in the past God’s people claimed to worship Him, yet they also worshiped their idols, as do JWs today – “Jehovah and his organization”. However, many are aware of its problems.  Believing that God will fix what is broken is a misconception, but many JWs wholeheartedly are convinced of this, by their leaders.  Hos 8:1-6  God didn’t fix what was broken in the past, but removed His Holy Spirit, allowing them to suffer for their actions. Before doing so, He sent His prophets to warn them of what was to come upon them. He offered them His protection. Those that may have suffered but returned to the Father, He restored.  Always, it was the few who did so.

There is one last prophetic message to God’s people before the Kingdom arrives.  That is, to leave idolatry and the ignorance of God’s laws behind. It is, the awareness of the oppression and transgression of His people (the Temple of God, 1 Cor 3:16,17)  under a “Gentile” rule, the elder body.  2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1-3  The book of Revelation brings prophesies from all the books of the Bible together as a finished puzzle, revealing this last surge of deception on the “woman” New Covenant members, and their falling into sin because of it. Rev 12:15 This time, its appearance is not one easily detected, as perhaps one would look at a religion with obvious idols, and who do not follow the laws of God.  This time, it appears as “truth”, and the accomplishment of a great preaching work. 2 Thess 2:9-12   Yet, the violence (Hab 1:2-4)  and obvious betrayal of God’s decrees that otherwise might be apparent in the past, are now cloaked under falsehoods spoken with a smooth tongue. Prov 5:3   It is a captivity that Revelations speaks of, (Rev 13:10; Col 2:8) and a “conquering” of the anointed ones under a powerful rule that is directed by a false prophet – a “Hartlot”.   The organization deflects the meaning of Revelation to “Christendom” when it is pasted all over within it, evidence that God’s people are under a spiritual captivity to a Beast and a false prophet.  Rev 13:1,11; 20:7-9
God is warning His people, His potential “kings and priests of the earth”, (1 Pet 2:5,9; Rev 1:5; 5:9,10) and all of those with them, to “come out”.  Rev 18:4-8  His chosen people are not in Christendom, but are the “saints” gathered in the organization, where speaking against falsehoods causes them and their companions to be disfellowshipped, thrown out of the congregation and considered, dead.   John 16:2; Rev 13:5-7,15   It is prophesy being fulfilled.  That really is the bottom line.  1 Cor 10:12-14  The organization is not a lifeline to salvation, but a created idol.  God and Jesus Christ are, and always have been, our source of salvation.  Acts 4:12

And yet you have no evidence to your claim? The irony of such is you left out the history of the baptism, which proves to me, once again, you cannot hold your own if the the discussion is about something biblical and or regarding the Bible.

And no, that is an idiotic response, granted with what I had stated on occasion already:
Do know nothing about following Jesus' example, granted with various comments coming from you, even shot down lessons of the Christ and God's own followers, for you to speak of understanding what the teachings profess shows stupidity on your part when you strongly lack.
That being said, no baptism history or origin and no mention of the Didache, not to mention the laws all profess of which given to them by God; I am giving you a chance to redeem yourself before you make a total fool of yourself, Screko. lol
And also, Roman Catholics baptize infants, who cannot profess their faith or their belief in God.
