You may want to read Watchtower's own blasphemous words about skirting around the judgment THEY will receive - the same judgment that came upon Korah.  WT is condoning the exact desire that Korah had - to possess the priesthood by replacing it with men not anointed.  This is the "disgusting thing" that has "set itself up in God's Temple".  Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:3,4   It gives you the article that you can refer to.    I have hold over no one.  The GB has hold over 8 million people, one of them is you.

I think you have made up your own version of what is in the bible - that is why you are at odds with the GB.   The root cause of mankind's problems was the choosing of independence from Jehovah.  The inability to cooperate and be part of his people we see many examples of - like Corah.  He was so sure he had God's blessing!  poor man.  Luckily Jehovah did not put him in Gehenna - only Sheol.
I understand the scriptures - so I ask you the same question.....  Who has hold over you? ....  the heart is treacherous and always wants to be independent....
 

I’ve read the Watchtower quotes from the articles I linked, and their identities of Revelation’s Beasts.  Have you?  I hope you don’t blindly reject them without researching.   It appears that Watchtower’s confusion in teachings makes more sense than God’s Word which identifies the authentic “kings of the earth” and God’s Temple.   I am not arguing for the sake of arguing, but bringing scripture to the fore. You brought up the Eighth King, I commented on its identity.    
I have no “superior” understanding of Agenda 21 and UN Compact 2018.  Whatever Satan contrives in his realm is a counterfeit fulfillment that God’s anointed people are already suffering under!  The elder body/Man of Lawlessness/Beast from the “Sea”. 
Satan uses all sorts of deceit to hide his true work at hand.  This includes his actions inside and outside of the organization to cover over what he’s already doing to God’s anointed ones.  2 Cor 11:13-15

These scriptures explain how the transgression comes upon the Temple of God. 2 Thess 2:1-4  Lying wonders have convinced JWs that although a ruling entity looms over them; it appears benign and in harmony with God’s will.  MEN appointed elders to rule God’s anointed priesthood/Temple, but to God it must not happen. Numbers 3:10; Dan 8:11; Ezek 44:6-9

The zeal of Jesus for his Father's house, made him express with outrage, his offense that commercialism should have anything to do with worship. Paul made clear that when Jesus said; "You received free; give free" (Matt10:8), that those whom you feed spiritually, should not be obliged to give money (or anything else) to you. That is what we see in Rev.13:17... that the Wild Beasts set up a monopoly of spiritual provisions. The WT is guilty of violating all these verses.
 
 Obedience, service, and worship, are also "goods" that should belong to God, but at times, men also covet them in exchange for spiritual food.

Why would such blind obedience be necessary, if the scriptures really directed a course of action, among those supposedly dedicated to God? If the scriptures are Not behind a directive... then no man has a right to expect, conformance! Rom.6:16 makes clear, that whoever we obey, we are their slave. 1Cor7:23; Luke4:8 and Gal1:10 make clear, that we must only obey and serve God and Christ. Whatever we do, must be directed, by them. In loyalty to God and in exclusive devotion; genuine Christians, are guided only by scripture... not by an unreasonable demand by human beings.

That about Russia can not be true neither with arguments presented in the WT literature. Because in Daniel 11 there is a chronological order of events. The WT rightly puts Daniel 11:31 in to the future. So the following scriptures should also be in the future. Look at this statement for example:

We see that the WT teaches that "the disgusting thing" will be standing in a holy place in the future. But in the same time they want to say that the "disgusting thing" has already been standing on the holy place. Can they not decide how they want to have it? Apparently not, because they feel they have to in some way tie all prophecies as close down to 1914 as possible. 
And the same time they understand that "the disgusting thing standing on the holy place" should follow the pattern of the events in the first century, as stated here:

And then WT literature explains :

But this is so wrong, Germany did not cause the profanation of the "sanctuary, the fortress, and remove the constant feature" in  USA. And the scripture is talking about arms not against nations like Poland but arms against the sanctuary, the fortress associated with the sanctuary and the constant feature or sacrifice.
Shortly, the WT should rewrite all the explanations to prophecies they have applied to the last 100+ years. And come up with the true explanations. 
Even most churches are wise enough to understand that the 1260 etc days belong to the final years before Christ Jesus' return. How stupid can the WT leadership really be?

@Arauna  I can tell you are on autopilot, automatically defending the GB and its JW Org. So there is no point in me making a sensible reply. You do sound like a robot though, spewing out all the GB dribble like a computer gone wrong.

For many people who was born in poor countries, it could be said how their life is "predestined", or they are predetermined to stay poor and illiterate because parents can't afford to pay a school for their children. And for major of such population that is present and future. 
In some other cases we can talk about ones childhood. A circumstances in that period of life can be also very significant about life of such in older ages. With genetic you mentioned, too.
Are we all some experiment of gods? :)) It could be. JW and some other when talking about book of Genesis and Bible at all, say how God put The Tree in Garden to see will human obey Him or not, will they obey because of love too. So, this sort of explanation smell much to me, on some sort of experiment. Such idea is continued, same stuff is repeated with Abraham or Job, Jesus too. All of them, and many more was put in position "to prove" something about God.
Examples with Adam and Job, JW using as explanation for Crucial Questions of Life and Death. They say how God's Sovereignty and Honor depends on how would, will people answer to that challenge. Of, course, it is interesting how Adam, Job and Jesus answered about it,and make A Point, but still this seems it is not enough for God to make conclusion on this stuff and stop all injustice, misery and suffer for millions (people) or innocent children for centuries until today.     
Things are not, usually, black/white, but, perhaps JW explanation is not good enough, it is not valid, or interpretations on Bible text is terribly wrong, or bible description of past is poor, or all is in vain, or .... or i am predestined to talking stupidity    :))))))    

You received some view on this by John. He made good points. 
For a long time, WT publications shows JW religion as superior over all other religions. For what reason? For it is considered as the only right/true that came from God alone. Considered by whom? By Leaders and Members. Their Self Valuations on own interpretations about Bible and derived Organizational Doctrines from such Interpretations, and the way how they practice own religious beliefs, gave them this Right to Think so about themselves. Most of all, they are very confident in idea how God Himself with help of Jesus, GUIDING this earthly Leaders of this Multilevel Corporation/s. In their eyes God not running only Spiritual aspects of religion, but also All other parts of JW System under Leadership of WT and GB who are, supposedly, putted in this place by God Himself (or by Jesus, doesn't matter).  
In Light of this "knowledge" that exist inside GB and JW members, it can be very disappointing to see how WT Company have problems and "do not know how" handle things that is not Nothing New from religious point of Thinking. How so? Because all those things already were happen and described in the Bible. And WT (not only one in the World) preaching about Bible past records, prophecies, last days, big world problems, immorality and all evil things in 20, and now in this 21 century. 
So, how came to this reaction of WT and GB that they must get special commands, instructions, laws and Court decisions on how to handle Child Sexual Abuse problems inside own JW Organization? How is possible that such Faithful and Discrete (wise) Leaders not see what Bible told them to do as Prevention and as Solution of Issue?
As result they are "called" by Secular Authorities as any other "human" organization to pay for mishandling and "ignorance" toward own members who suffered as victims. And to pay millions of $ from voluntary donations that was Dedicated and Given by JW people for God and Kingdom News and NOT for Court and Out of Court Settlements in to private pockets!!!
Such kind of Self Importance, Humble Superiority, Elitism on religious basis, because they think about self as The Only People on Earth who doing God's Will. That is really Big Burden on their backs to carry on. 
But despite all objective problems that ones have to face in dealing with molestation issue, with or with out The Laws (worldly laws), JW Religion who's "Founder" is no one else but God, can not have excuse, especially not in a way You wish to present to us, how WT depends on Wisdom of this fallen World.

As you has seen from short video, Richard Asch, WT REPRESENTATIVE has said clearly how elders duty is only to provide spiritual safety aka  guidance, support, monitoring, keep congregation clear and similar.
Because such WT position, JW congregations not need any secular lawyers in their midst, in their Spiritual Worldwide Paradise. Why don't need? Because all problems can be settled between brothers or in worst scenario,  by ELDERS.
WT need Lawyers primarily because of BUSINESS!!!!!   

If i can recall this post of John about this information (correct me if it is wrong) John has heard that from other person. So now, we here are in some similar, strange position, because we heard, about crime that has happened, from John. 
I think how some scientific discipline, like sociology and psychology, could explain what happens inside people in such situations we talking about. Why do we react or not react? How do we react? Why we do not want to interfere in someone else's problems? Why it easier to be passive and to go on other side? .... etc.

And are you suggesting that if a law of the land was not in place then you would happily stand by and let it happen ?
Typical JW stand on the matter. But when a law of the land is in place to join the Armed forces you will disobey it. Rightly so because God does not want a person to go to war. So when it seems suitable to disobey the law then you disobey it.
But,  you seem to need a law of the land, to make you obey God's law, on Love and protection and care of young children, and adults that need your help within the JW Org, and those that have had to leave because of the disgusting abuse.  
How strange that you would choose when to serve God and when not to. 
Your GB have proven themselves to treat the victims of child abuse within the JW Org as collateral damage. This is typical American thinking.
Your GB has proven that they see themselves and the JW Organisation as more important than serving God or Jesus christ. 
Your GB has proven that they do not love the people of the congregation. And this is only in the Countries that we know about.
I honestly fear for the children in countries like India, Pakistan, Africa, from where we have no news of the abuse. What terrible things are happening to children there.  
 

Can someone please tell me what the laws were in the 1950s, 1960, 1970 and 1980s in most countries of the world?   If you can answer this then I am prepared to talk to you.  You seem to rush to condemn the organization for not doing something when there were not yet laws in place.... so hurry and do some research!
 

Things in Life are weird sometimes :))

The Watchtower House is struggling to maintain its self-appointed reputation as a “spiritual paradise”.  It is facing a financial crisis of large proportions partly due to exposure of its past hidden pedophile issues, which may be contributing to necessary downsizing world-wide.  Corruption of values at Bethel is finally becoming fully exposed; not only by those who have left Bethel but it is clearly evident by the governing body’s attempt to address pertinent issues via their broadcasting center. 
They have released a new video, and it is the first to be presented by its most recent member, Kenneth Cook, Jr.  In a soft-spoken manner, he broached the delicate topic of being honest when applying for Bethel/construction work, expressing also the need for physical, moral and spiritual cleanliness.
He says,
“Before submitting an application or expanded theocratic service, it’s important to consider prayerfully how you’ll respond to the questions on the application.
HEBREWS 13:18 SAYS, WE WISH TO CONDUCT OURSELVES HONESTLY IN ALL THINGS.
So you should be honest in answering the questions on the application, especially those that have to do with your physical health and spiritual health.“

Please notice this one example from a book that has been widely used by JWs to lead “Bible studies” into the organization and what is fondly called, “the truth”.  This concerns one’s dedication at baptism:
“Going beneath the water symbolizes that you have died to your former life course. Being raised up out of the water indicates that you are now alive to do the will of God. Remember, too, that you have made a dedication to Jehovah God himself, NOT TO A WORK, A CAUSE, OTHER HUMANS, OR AN ORGANIZATION. Your dedication and baptism are the beginning of a very close friendship with God—an intimate relationship with him.”  (What Does the Bible Really Teach? p. 184)
 
On the day of baptism, what question must the newly indoctrinated ones “answer in the affirmative”?
"Do you understand that your dedication and baptism identify you as one of Jehovah's Witnesses IN ASSOCIATION WITH God's spirit-directed ORGANIZATION?" Watchtower 1985 Jun 1 p.30
At that point, the prospective candidates are fully trapped before an audience of possibly thousands. Col 2:8; Rev 13:10  Will they remember what they read in their study book and rethink their upcoming baptism, or will they be caught in the moment of emotional elation, eager to fulfill a vow and join “Jehovah’s organization”?
If one was to answer “no” to this second baptism question, the organization would disqualify the individual from becoming “an ordained minister of Jehovah”. In the Watchtower, one’s “intimate relationship with God” is fully dependent on  “work” toward the “cause” outlined by false teachers, which is to bolster an organization.  How twisted it all becomes, very early in the life of a JW. 
Working toward a human cause is the underlying theme of Mr. Cook’s video:
“Submitting your application may open a door of opportunity to serve Jehovah and his organization in a variety of ways.  Of course, there’s a place or everyone in Jehovah’s service.  Whether we’re working hard as a congregation publisher, a regular pioneer, a Bethelite, or on a theocratic construction project we have the satisfaction of knowing that Jehovah treasures all that we’re doing because of our heartfelt love for him.  Heb 6:10 says, ‘God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name by ministering and continuing to minister to the holy ones.’”

He said, “regardless of where we are serving, we need Jehovah’s blessing to be successful.”

Consider the quote from Watchtower’s “Insight” Book, pp. 513,514:

Dear JWs, are you able to discern that the House you are working for doesn’t belong to God? Can you perceive that your laboring for the Watchtower is in vain?  Which “House” do you believe God expects us to support and will give His blessing upon?  Warwick’s Bethel which the organization still attempts to hoist onto a pedestal? Further in Ps 127:
“In vain you get up early and stay up late,
working hard to have enough food—
yes, he gives such things to his loved ones while they sleep.”
Back to Heb 6, and verses 7,8:
“For the ground that drinks the rain that often falls on it and that produces vegetation useful to those for whom it is cultivated receives a blessing from God. 8 But if it produces THORNS AND THISTLES, it is worthless and about to be cursed, and at the end will be burned.”
Watchtower’s Bethel is not sanctioned by God as His dwelling.  Acts 17:24  No matter how much effort an individual labors for the Beast/organization, they will awaken each day, still spiritually hungry.  Amos 8:11  A false priesthood is incapable of producing the same life-giving “bread” as God’s House built on Christ’s true anointed priests. John 6:35; 1 Cor 10:17; Rom 12:1,5; 1 Pet 2:5,9 Yet, in the Watchtower House a “disgusting thing” - “thorns and thistles”- stands and rules over, the true spiritual House/Temple of God. Ezek 2:6,7; Hos 10:8; Rev 11:1,2

We can do that.   
We’ve had the full Bible for over 2,000 years.  The words of Christ are not new and have spread worldwide; and we don’t know what the anointed over that time period, accomplished.  We have the guarantee that the Father searches and “weighs” each heart; and would not abandon anyone who desires to serve only Him and His Son – “fully committed” to following His decrees in Christ.    Prov 21:2; 2 Chron 16:9
Although, judgment begins with God’s House – His people under covenant.  When we see the sins of His people come to light, then we know the end is near.  1 Pet 4:17
I encourage you to keep seeking out the anointed and the "fruit" they offer (John 13:20; Matt 7:18-20),  remembering that the coming Kingdom of God “does not come with observation”  Luke 17:20,21, but as a “thief in the night”, when God’s people (since judgment begins with His house , Eph 2:20-22) will be saying, “peace and security”.  1 Thess 5:1-3
Spiritual “peace and security” is offered by “Jehovah’s organization”, where the sins of God’s people are now being brought to light.  Rev 18:4-8

We will have to agree to differ. If you believe in a Judgement day / Armageddon time, then all people on the Earth have to be given a warning. 
The 'model prayer' asks for God's will to be done here on Earth as well as in heaven, that is one reason I fully believe that humans will live here on this Earth in perfect conditions. Though we come to this word perfect again, and I mean it in as much as conditions that God wants to exist. 
So i also believe that an Earthwide teaching work is needed to help people know what God wants from us. To do this the Anointed need to work together, that means being 'organised'. Whether you want to use the word Organisation is up to you. But in my opinion the work needs to be organised. 
I have no idea who the Anointed are. I have no real idea of what truth is anymore. I have no idea when the Judgement day will come. BUT,  I am not prepared to listen to just anyone that says they are anointed. 
I have what i will call snippets. Little bits of what I believe. But I'm a simple practical man, hence I complain about the Child Abuse, because it's a simple practical issue, though some on here try to complicate it, to make excuses for their leaders.
Although I no nothing for sure, it is my feeling that the Judgement day / time, is a long way off. My reasoning is that people need time to find the 'truth' from God through Jesus Christ, and conditions need to be much worse Earthwide so that people can see the seriousness of it all, and see the need for God's rule to take place.. 
Now i will be 70 this year, so i do not think I will see the Judgement day. And God's word says about the resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous. I am definitely of the unrighteous, but if I'm right my death will guarantee me a resurrection. Time will tell.

Can you see how Christ’s words have been twisted by the WT, making people believe that an organization is the way of salvation, simply because they “preach” Christ?  We both know that the organization cannot provide salvation.

It seems pretty clear to me that I cannot give my allegiance to men’s “organized” way of doing things.  I must rely completely on my faith in Christ and the Father. 
The man who finally succumbed to the ideals of “organization” first stated:
Beware of "organization." It is wholly unnecessary. The Bible rules will be the only rules you will need. Do not seek to bind others' consciences, and do not permit others to bind yours. In the Watchtower men have become “kings”, ruling over others. (1 Sam 8:6) However, we have our King, Jesus Christ.  As I have said, “leaders” within Christ’s anointed Body, guide people to the King of Kings, Lord of Lords with words spoken in truth, but they do not reign them in through the stipulations driving an organization.   Once earthly organization is introduced, a hierarchy of power is born, which is derived from the realm of Satan. (1 Sam 8:10-18)

 The anointed are to be organized according to God’s way; yet, at this time period of the end, an “organization” has shattered the Temple, “trampled” God’s anointed House by men who “bind others’ consciences”.  This is the sign of the presence of the Man of Lawlessness.  2 Thess 2:3,4
Okay, so why are the “Jews” that “ten” men seek out, so hard to find?  Because as I see you doing, you are looking for them to “organize” in the same pattern of the one you left. 
Restored spiritual “Israel” is “built” with God’s Spirit.  They will be the “capstone”, completing God’s Temple.  Zech 4:8-14; Rev 11:1-3; Matt 18:20  The anointed are gathering, but as small as they are (Amos 7:2); those believers that join them are becoming many. Ezek 36:6-11  They are spiritually “organized” according to the direction of Holy Spirit.  They are a spiritual "congregation", known completely by the Father and Jesus.    They make God’s “name” known; not as an organization that says it makes the name of God known, yet extols the work of man’s hands which the Watchtower has done, and then compare it to God.  Ps 50:16-23; (Isa 46)  Michael, who stands up for his people, proclaims the meaning of his name; “Who is like God?” (Joel 2:32)  The Watchtower and the majority of its members claim, “who or what is like Jehovah’s organization”? 
All the people of the world were amazed and followed the beast. 4 They worshiped the serpent because it had given authority to the beast. They also worshiped the beast and said, “Who is like the beast? Who can fight a war with it?” Rev 13:3b,4
The “two witnesses of Christ”/”wise virgins” side with him in this battle of truth against lies.  They do not need an organization as we know it, to do so.  Rev 12:7; 1 Cor 2:10   
In the first century every apostle was directed by Holy Spirit, not by a “governing body” in Jerusalem.  They may have taken care of a problem together on circumcision, but this doesn’t mean they were organized according to men.  Paul traveled everywhere that the spirit directed him.  Who sent Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch?  A GB?  It was Holy Spirit.  We have never read in the scriptures that the apostles and believers upheld and extolled an “organization” in Jerusalem.  Yet, Paul distinctly taught the anointed ones how they were part of God’s Temple/House. Eph 2:20-22; 1 Cor 12. Through Holy Spirit, the “two witnesses”/anointed ones “prophesy” and reveal the Man of Lawlessness.   (Rev 4:11,14; Rev 11:1-3)  Their “words”, coming from Christ, judge and condemn.
The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders,10 and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. Do you really believe there is time to “organize” according to men’s direction, another earthly house of worship? John 4:23,24  It wouldn’t be successful.   This is why Jesus said,  “Believe me. A time is coming when you Samaritans won’t be worshiping the Father on this mountain or in the (literal city of) Jerusalem. “  John 4:21
(I find it interesting that the name “Samaria” means “watch tower”!)
I feel you may be “kicking against the goads”.  Rely totally on the Father and Christ to lead you to truth.  Check out the links I have given you.  Understand that we are living close to the end.  Armageddon is fought, not in Satan’s earthly realm, but on the “low plain” or valley of decision”, revealing the intentions of the heart’s desires.  Joel 3:14-16; Matt 13:24-30 We either struggle to find and follow Christ and his truths, or rely on men’s twisted interpretation of scripture through organizational means.    Both come to us in totally different ways.

The end time preaching work is extraordinary; not at all as the Watchtower teaches.  Jesus said this preaching work would be to “Israel” – the anointed ones/Temple. Well I left the JW Org because of all the Child Abuse within it. Now you either believe that it has happened and is still happening, or you don't.  But I think it has been proven to be in the 'rational realm of realism' that you are looking for..  If you think it is all lies of course then I suppose we have no basis for conversation. But i think many cases have been well proven to be true.
So please tell, with proof of course, exactly what organisation you think i am trying to please. I am opposing the rulers of an earthly organisation, and  'in a rational realm of realism' I am opposing those leaders of an earthly organisation, namely the Governing Body of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. That same Governing Body rules over the Watchtower Soc'. So you may say that i am opposing the rulers of that Watchtower Soc'.  Because in a rational realm of realism, you cannot oppose an inanimate object. I am also opposing anyone that blindly serves the Governing Body of those two 'organisations', which will of course include the Elders of congregations within the JW Organisation, and any others, such as the people of the Writing department, Bethel workers, and some ordinary members of congregations too. My opposition is not fierce, not aggressive, it's assertive. 
As for opposing the teachings of Christ, that is a strong accusation. What proof do you have that i oppose the teachings of Christ ?
I believe as much of the Bible as i can understand. I think that is an honest statement. I don't pretend to be able to interpret all scripture. I am a sinner as is everyone here on this earth. But my reason for leaving the JW Org was a genuine one and since leaving i have done further research into the GB / writing dept' / Watchtower / JW Org, and have found it desperately failing to do God's will. 
It seems that you " compare the teachings of false religion with that of the Watchtower " I prefer to compare the teachings of the Watchtower to that of God's written word the Bible. Why would i even be interested in the teachings of false religion ? 
I would ask that if you reply please keep your answer within the 'rational realm of realism' that you seem to want to view things through. In doing so you would need to give proof of any accusations against me. 

A writing department.  Why is it needed?  Because a “Wicked Steward” has ignored what a steward of God’s anointed house must do – manage and gather spiritual provisions from all anointed of the body to “feed” the sheep – themselves and their fellow believers.  Luke 12:42-47

On the other hand, they would be at a loss without a writing department to give them suggestions.
