In the spirit world, Satan uses this tactic by influencing selected agents to go “undercover”.  They are deceived into believing his lies; falling into his personal workforce; yet having the appearance they are serving God.  Through Satan’s various schemes, a veil begins to shroud the heart, not allowing the error of their ways to be noticed.  Why does this happen? 
“each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.  Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”  James 18:14,15
They become his slaves to accomplish his covert, end-of-time strategy – to hunt down and destroy the anointed ones who are the remaining ones of the “woman’s seed”.  Ps 10:2-4; Jer 5:26; Gal 3:16;29,26; Rev 12:4,15-17.  He shares his power with his “undercover” servants, fully coercing them to execute his plan. As Wormwood, this agent of Satan releases a great, devastating army from the abyss; having as their primary target, the holy ones. Rev 9:1-4  Effectively a “slave society” is formed. Perhaps many of you may see the Watchtower in its definition, with its ruling governing body and body of elders, wielding a perceived divine authority over the millions of JW individuals:

Slaves are owned, JWs, and YOU are owned through your dedication to the Watchtower idol. The book of Ephesians addresses the holy ones of God – his chosen anointed people of spiritual “Israel”, and the Temple/ Body of Christ who are his Bride. Please note what the Watchtower says about “holy ones” who are the anointed saints of God:
“God’s Word shows that A PERSON IS NOT MADE A SAINT BY MEN OR BY AN ORGANIZATION.  The Scriptures state: “[God] saved us and called us with a holy calling, not by reason of OUR works, but by reason of his own purpose and undeserved kindness.” (2 Timothy 1:9)
Speaking of God’s Kingdom to come, the article states:

It should be established in your mind that the anointed are the holy ones, holy priesthood, and called ones of God.

While working “undercover” for Satan, GB member and false prophet/Harlot, Stephen Lett, utilizes the “empty deceit” maneuver in the August 2018 broadcast:
“The theme for this month’s program is “appreciating our gifts in men.  Who of us does not enjoy being given a fine, well chosen gift?  For example, you brothers; do you not take pleasure in receiving a colorful, but tasteful, 100 percent silk tie?  Or you sisters, do you not delight in being given an exquisite, charming silk scarf?  But, what if you took that silk tie, or silk scarf and used it to polish your shoes?  How do you think the giver of your gift would feel if he saw you using his gift in that way.  Obviously, it would be misuse and disrespect for the gift and would insult the giver.   What is the point of our illustration?   Well, Jehovah and Jesus have given us a fine well-chosen gift IN THE FORM OF THE ELDERS.  But as we will discuss, all of us must make sure that we always show appreciation and respect for this DIVINE PROVISION." 
Lett deftly avoids explaining, with scriptures, the “divine provision” authorizing the elder body’s right to authority, who are men who have been appointed by men.    By far, the vast majority of them are anointed.  He then uses, Eph 4:8; which we must remember is a book that addresses the anointed ones. 
 For it says:
When he ascended on high,
he took the captives captive;
he gave gifts to people.
Paul is speaking of the various gifts received by those within the anointed Body. 
Eph 4:11,12 – “And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, 12 equipping the SAINTS (holy ones) for the work of ministry, to build up the body of Christ”
There is no “divine provision” made for another group not anointed by God to shepherd His flock, and based solely on men (Gal 3:28).  Can you see how God’s provision already in place, has been outmaneuvered and replaced by a counterfeit? It begs the question; why would Watchtower’s anointed leaders push another “body” other than God’s already established arrangement in Christ?

When encouraging JWs to be submissive to the elders; to pray for them, and to follow their direction no matter how illogical it sounds, (the paintbrush analogy comes to mind) GB member, Lett, later quotes Prov 3:27:
“When it is in your power, don’t withhold good from the one to whom it belongs.”

But…it really doesn’t matter if they know it or not, because the popular opinion taught by Wt’s leaders is…
The number of partakers includes those who mistakenly think that they are anointed. Some who at one point started to partake of the emblems later stopped. Others may have mental or emotional problems that lead them to believe that they will rule with Christ in heaven.
Which leads to doubting ANY who may partake.  They can’t be trusted.  Whether JWs realize it or not, this has successfully drawn them AWAY from the anointed priesthood, and TO the elder body who have the power to disfellowship God’s anointed people when they choose to reject Wt. lies.   The exception of course, is the GB whom they hear boldly declare their heavenly assured, sealed destination.   The ramifications are large – many anointed ones prefer to remain invisible for fear of elders scrutinizing them.  This also can account for many who stop partaking.  The snowball effect causes someone like me to dismiss my anointing for my entire 32+ years in the organization.  And I am not alone.  It is not unusual for elders to label an anointed one as having emotional problems, or as “mentally diseased”, even threatening them if they choose to partake.    And what are they called when they reject such oppression?
Well, apostates are “mentally diseased,” and they seek to infect others with their disloyal teachings. (1 Tim. 6:3, 4)  Wt 11/7/15
Disloyal to whom?  To the Father and Christ?  No, to the organization.  1 Tim 6:5 bears considering.
This study article is written by hypocrites and enforced by their muscle/elder body.  From what I know about hypocrisy, not only is it a characteristic of some mental diseases, it is a spiritual disease that can lead to death.  Matt 24:48-51

These are exactly the kinds of situations where the protocol can go out the window. I don't know the status of this person, but you could probably call the WTS/CCJW and find out. Anecdotally, going back about 40 years and another situation going back 5 years, I know about a couple cases where the congregation was asked to DF someone "in absentia" to mitigate a possible crime scandal.
Also, in effect, all Witnesses who had previously disassociated were disfellowshipped "in absentia" in the early 1980's. This was a necessary change in order to be able to create protocol for disfellowshipping R.Franz. He was caught eating a meal with his employer who had previously disassociated himself. Making the two different statuses equal would mean that he was now eating a meal with someone who had been disfellowshipped which therefore made R.Franz subject to disfellowshipping.

CAN A PERSON ... OR SHOULD A PERSON . BE DISFELLOWSHIPPED IN ABSTENSIA?
Here is the situation .....  a person REPORTED to be one of Jehovah's Witnesses is accused, and NOT convicted ( ... because he is a fugitive from Justice ...) .....

Apparently he was at one time in a "Position Of Authority", which possibly alludes to his being an  "Elder", and he may have relocated to another State or even another Country. Possibly using an alias.
The  various Congregation Elders cannot find him, the Society cannot find him, and the U.S. Marshal's Service cannot find him.
Not having any indication to the contrary ... at least from the information given in the pseudo-Wanted Poster shown above, he is possibly still officially one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Whether he is or not, his bad example raises an interesting  aspect of trying to figure out how the disfellowshipping "system" protocol actually works.
Can any of the Congregations  he went to disfellowship him without his being present  to answer charges ?

As far as I know, GB is not against voting, as the principle by which decisions are made, have to make.
But GB uses this "democratic principle" of making a decision, about something that is tailored to the/by "majority", in a way that have "higher meaning", "sacred goal". There are several levels where decisions are made by this "democratic means", by voting. It is at GB level. At the director level of certain departments. At the elders level. At assembly level.
Less important items are often put to the vote in front of the assembly (rank and file members). Of course, the elders presents something in such a way that membership is moved to vote in according to a decision already in line by the elders (or some higher then elders), and only formal confirmation is required/made through voting and resolution.
Making decisions within an organization is actually a matter of how "politics" is carried out by those who are high in the hierarchy.
Thus, within the religion is not carried out "political politics", but "religious politics". :)))
Perhaps it would be better to "throw a cube" (throwing dice, stone, beans or what ever else), as this kind can reduces the impact of human, of various clans and streams within a group. In fact there is a biblical precedent that would allow such way,  how to run a "corporate governance" policy (in religious, financial and other matters).
It is primitive, demode ( démodé ), old fashion way but gives a lot of fun.

Yes. But I'll tell you the real problem I have with manipulating information. And I'm not saying you are the source of the manipulation. First of all, it's no longer "truth" in the most appropriate sense. If something purports to be from a specific source, then anyone who changes that source is putting words in the mouth of someone else. It's therefore the same as a misquote. Since it has very similar meaning, it's more of a paraphrase, but even a paraphrase should identify itself as such.
In the long run, it often weakens the impact of information even when people think it strengthens the impact. Imagine what would happen if a person has excellent information about some mistakes the Watch Tower Society was making. Imagine that some of these, if taken seriously by the WTS, could result in fairness and justice for thousands of people who are now being treated inconsistently and unjustly. There were persons who publicly pointed out the inconsistency between the WTS political stance in Malawi vs. Mexico, for example. But by pointing it out, the WTS may have taken quicker steps to fix the problem they had created in Mexico. And in many other countries around the world, thousands were being unjustly imprisoned for the specific choices they were told that they could and could not conscientiously take with respect to alternative civil service. They, the GB, had already decided that it wasn't that important or even Biblical to hold onto the old traditional practice, and that a change could happen as soon as they found the time to vote on it again. But it was put off for a couple of more years, until a very public reminder was published in an infamous book by an ex-JW. In the meantime, during the delay, hundreds more JWs were unjustly imprisoned, but as soon as the GB voted again, the problem was taken care of just as the ex-JW had said. So what would have happened if that particular ex-JW had a reputation for manipulating information. Obviously, it would have been easy to ignore what he said, and just say that it was more lies from ex-JW apostates. Information can have value no matter where it comes from. Why weaken the value with manipulation?
Also, in the specific case above where some JW-focused information was added, it came across as both pejorative and smart-aleck. Even flippant in the sense of borrowing slightly from the advertising slogan: "Coming to a theater near you!" This gives the impression that whoever wrote it wanted to "stick it" to JWs in particular. This can "back-fire" having a devaluing effect on the value of the information. It is useful to know that there may now be up to SEVENTEEN different victims and that one of them was abused perhaps 100 times. This is important information. But a lot of JWs might look at this poster and say:
"Look how we are being picked on talking about "Kingdom Halls" like that. Look how they are going after us unfairly. Look how they focus on Kingdom Halls. I wonder if they would say the same about using churches as a hiding place to find sanctuary." Maybe they would; I don't know. But I do know that everyone has a certain amount of defensiveness that is natural for people of the same "tribe." Our tribe is our worldwide organization, and many Witnesses are quick to defend and grasp at straws to do so. Don't make up evidence. The real evidence is all people need.

The wanted poster supposedly uses the phrase: "McLean uses Kingdom Halls as cover to hide and may be in a Kingdom Hall near you!" Not to take anything away from the man's crimes, but this struck me as a "gloss" intended to speak more directly to JWs. That and a few other small things on the picture above makes it look like this was a specially made version just to share with JWs. (There are multiple typos, misspellings, and capitalization problems on the updated wanted poster, which don't show up on any of the actual wanted posters.)

McLean previously owned a business restoring and selling old race cars. His specialty was CAN-AM racers from the 1960Â’s and 1970Â’s, especially Lola chassis race cars. McLean was last known to be driving an older blue or green conversion van. McLean was a Jehovah's Witness and found his sexual assault victims through people he met in church. At the time of McLeanÂ’s disappearance, he was known to have at least $100,000 in cash. McLean is knowledgeable/capable of doing home/auto repair, McLean may be working as a mechanic or handyman. In the past, McLean resided near Winchester, California, and may still be in the Southern Riverside/Northern San Diego County area. He is an experienced camper and has frequented the Anza-Borrego desert and the Cuyumaca Mountains.
McLean is a white male, 5'11, 170 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes.

You just cannot take off and land this thing from a Freeway .... you still have to fly in and out of airports.
For the daily INTEREST on 1.5 million dollars, you could have a limousine and driver waiting for you at both ends of the trip, and have money left over.
.... not to mention the cost of collision insurance for a 1.5 million dollar car, where a 5mph "fender bender" could cost  a hundred thousand dollars in airframe repair.
This may physically be done,  but they way things are ... probably should not.

I should have brought this out before; but then, I have many times under other topics. 
JWs are aware there are both genuine anointed ones,  and those who are not anointed within their congregations.  Of all religions, this is a unique truth specific to the Watchtower organization.  What has been lost over the years, is their identity behind the term, “anointed”.
They are chosen by God as His “special people”. 
“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Pet 2:9
They are His priesthood, of both men and women under Christ, their High Priest. 
1 Pet 2:5 - you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
The spiritual house that they become, is the Temple of God; built on the apostles and prophets – built on the Body of Christ.  1 Cor 3:16,17
“built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building, being put together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him you are also being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.”  Eph 2:20-22
They are a “new creation” – neither male or female – to serve as one Body under Christ. 
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!”  2 Cor 5:17
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.”  Eph 2:10
They are “kings”, “rulers” once sealed in the Kingdom of God.  Yes, even the women!   They can be sealed as heavenly kings even while on earth.  Rev 5:9,10; Eph 4:30
The only King who rules over them is the King of kings, Lord of lords – Jesus Christ and their High Priest.  Would he allow other “kings” to take his place?   If all are rulers, should one among them rule over another? As I’ve said, the position of leader within the Body is much different than expecting blind obedience to either a man or a woman. 
When looking at the early priesthood, all priests under Aaron, the High Priest, were to listen to him.
They are also, the Bride of their “husband”, Christ. 
They are a “brotherhood” – unless someone believes Paul was only directing his words to women.
They are “living sacrifices” offering themselves for all who will gain life in the Kingdom. 
Chosen people, holy priesthood, living sacrifices, living stones, spiritual house, Temple of God, brotherhood, virgin “wives”,  bondservants….and “sons” of God.  ( Add to this, are the gifts bestowed on each within this Body.) 
All of these characteristics are spiritual and symbolic, having nothing to do with the flesh.  They are a new creation of God, selected to serve His children in the Kingdom.  Why is this so hard to understand?  Why do men limit God’s ability to chose both men and women of His creation and “form” them, refine them, teach them His decrees (if and only if, they are willing to submit to Him and His Son) for His purpose to bring blessings, riches and knowledge from His throne to those “children” on earth who love Him?  Why is it so hard to perceive one’s flesh has nothing to do with it? 
It is the new thing that God had planned long ago to be established when His Son came to earth.   Jer 31:22; Micah 4:8

Song 2:3, "Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, and his fruit was sweet to my taste." 
Song 4:16, "Awake, O north wind, and come, wind of the south; make my garden breathe out fragrance. Let its spices be wafted abroad. May my beloved come into his garden and eat its choice fruits!" 
Notice in Song 2:3 that it says, "...and his fruit was sweet to my taste." Obviously this involves very intimate experience. Tasting one another can have a wide variety of applications. It appears that this is a veiled way of alluding to oral sex. Furthermore, if we look at Song 7:8 we read, "I said, I will climb the palm tree. I will take hold of its fruit stalks. Oh, may your breasts be like clusters of the vine." Apparently, fondling of the breasts is meant here. If such enjoyment of the body is intended, and since tasting (which involves the mouth) is part of that expression, it would seem safe to say that oral sex is permissible.

Rare or not but Mr Lett clearly said that GB from time to time tells  members something that in fact  is Unscriptural!

There are now dozens of ways to not only have random IPs each time you log in, but to even select the IP for a specific location. For those who can see the IP, it's not good etiquette to reveal someone else's location, even their spoofed location. But there is at least one person here who use several names, most of them spoofed to different locations, and uses them to be able to spam up-votes and down-votes. I know of one user who apparently keeps at least 15 different ID's ready to use at any time primarily so that he can put two and three down-votes and "HaHa" votes on posts he doesn't like, and a couple of up-votes on his own.
I actually think this is kind of humorous or even clever, so this is not said to get the person in any kind of trouble. I just mention it by way of explanation for those who may have received this kind of unusual voting attention for their posts.

The more words a person uses to explain a simple idea ... the less likely it is to be true.
MANY words are used to hypnotize with boredom ... NOT inform.

To be brief, nowhere does it state on the Jehovah's Witnesses behalf that 1975 is the end of the World, and with the information at hand, we can see that the difference between JWs and their opposites, only one side is telling the truth. 1975, however, was in regards of being vigilant, granted the whole 6,000 of creation since Adam. Plus it would have been hypocrisy on their part if they did in fact state that 1975 is the depend and yet they still continue to preach prior to, on, during and after that specific year, granted the Bible did say a time will come when the spreading of the gospel would cease, and then the end would come, which we can see JWs had never stopped preaching any given point during that time.

I was aware of that word, but had never seen it applied to anyone before, so I looked it up.
Merriam-Webster defines "simpleton" as a person completely devoid of common sense. (paraphrased).
I know several people, completely devoid of any common sense, and have walked that path myself.
