… and as to the 1975 issue, photographs of a kingdom ministry I believe from 1974 have been posted here many times, although I do not have a copy on my iPhone, when the Society was commending the brothers who had sold their homes, assets, and businesses to preach the Kingdom message this time of the end.
Perhaps somebody here will post it again.
This makes it completely clear to my mind That the WTB&TS was in fact preaching that the end would occur In the mid-1970s.
JWI was there, and I was there, and saw it happen.
AND WITH THAT KINGDOM MINISTRY STATEMENT is the written confirmation.
And ( coff, coff ) I wonder where a lot of that money went?

I first became aware of the Procter & Gamble satanic allegiance controversy in 1980, and if memory serves about that same time there was a skit on SNL about that but I don’t quite remember that I just remember the impression of it.
The congregation I attended in Portland Oregon knew about this controversy and told me about it as a fact. The fact that Procter & Gamble and its symbol was of satanic origin.
I also heard about this at work several different times.
I put it on my metal shelf of things that could be true, or could be false, but since I had no directed interest in such things and it didn’t affect my life I pretty much ignored it as much as I could. For me it came under the category of “Interesting if true, interesting if not true, why should I give a damn either way.”
Except for the people at work, I never talked to anybody that wasn’t a Jehovah’s Witness. This is pretty much been through my entire life as I do really don’t have any interest in talking to people at all, as I’m occupied with internal thoughts that keep me quite busy.
People would mention this to me, and occasionally I asked the question out of the blue to people, casually interested in the truth. I did notice that nobody had any proof of any sort and it was complete hearsay.
So what I did was this, I wrote a letter to Procter & Gamble asking them about the assertions of their satanic involvement, and this was of general conversation in the area at that time which was 1980, but I was distracted because Mount Saint Helens in Washington state just exploded, and Portland Oregon was covered in about 2 1/2 inches of volcanic ash.
Realizing from experience that’s the easiest way somebody can ignore you is to say they didn’t ever get the message, I sent it by certified mail, return receipt requested (the green card you may be familiar with), and pretty much forgot about the whole thing, in the same way I might ignore some nutty group in Australia, when I’m busy trying to work a heavy overtime schedule.
…. but one day I got a reply from Procter & Gamble and when I opened it up I was expecting to see a simple affirmation or simple denial perhaps with some documentation to prove it either way.
What I got was a history of the symbol of how it happened that boxes of their soap and it was Ivory soap at time would be shipped by boat up and down the rivers, etc. and as they were unloaded on the docks they started putting in chalk stars, moons or other things to separate their shipments from other shipments that were on the same boat.
As an aside it’s a same sort of thing is done as identifiers on Russian manufactured tanks to tell where they’re coming from or where they’re going to etc.
The correspondence included the History of how the symbol developed with some inserts perhaps five or six explaining this that or the other thing which might be considered somewhat related to my original question which was extremely simple but they never answered the question directly.
Because of the “million words“ they used, most people, even the great majority of people, would assume they did answer the question but they probably couldn’t tell you what the answer was, but the impression was that Procter & Gamble was not involved in any satanic activity.
I try to never ever assume a persons motive, or their intentions or their knowledge or lack of knowledge unless they have a gun pointed at me and cackling like Vice President Kamila Harris For no apparent reason.
After studying the materials at Procter & Gamble sent me, It became quite clear that they were deliberately being ambiguous so as not to say anything at all while leaving the impression that they were not involved in the satanic activity.
My guess was that since their headquarters was in Cincinnati Ohio right on the river between Ohio and Kentucky, they have people of all religions creeds and ideas, and somewhere in their organization there might be a group of employees that are part of the satanic cult, but not part of their business.
    Just a guess.
    No more.
The fact is, and all I can say about it is this is when in the middle of a national and international controversy about this exact issue,  when directly asked a direct and unambiguous question, they waffled and never denied satanic influence association or involvement.
And it was quite clear to me they deliberately did this.
It’s like when a politician is asked a simple yes or no question, and the reply is so long, rambling, and manipulative that you don’t even want to ask a follow-up question because you don’t wanna have to go through that again.

No matter how you feel then or now, it's still good information. Why? Because it shows, or even proves, that an organization is made up of people who are in governing structures, no matter what level such individuals or clusters are according to Bethel, more influenced by the negative than the positive.
Also, the concentration of “apostates” in Bethel refutes claims in WTJWorg magazines that the organization is “run with hs”. If there were them at that time, then there have always been them until today.
    Who runs WTJWorg?
Who did Raymond betray? What did he betray? Your image you had of him? Or you personally? Or God? Perhaps he betrayed you on that personal level. So it is more about emotion. He disappointed you emotionally, and not on issue of moral, principle, justice, Bible or God.

In 1941 the WT organization also fueled feelings about Armageddon at the time, even within that same year.
Cartons of Children that had been deposited in The Arena were now opened, and Judge Rutherford instructed the children how to come and each get a copy thereof, those in the rear half of The Arena marching in two columns out through a side exit, and those in the front half of The Arena marching up over the platform and out through a rear exit. As the march began, the orchestra (minus all its children instrumentalists) struck up and rendered songs, "Children of the Heavenly King," "The Sword of the Lord and of Gideon," and "Who Is on the Lord's Side'" while the vast audience sang. Never was there a more moving Sight in these "last days". Many, including strong men, wept at the demonstration. Receiving the gift, the marching children clasped it to them, not a toy or plaything for idle pleasure, but the Lord's provided Instrument for most effective work in the remaining months before Armageddon. What a gift I and to so many! The manner of releasing the new book Children was an outnght surprise to all, but the almighty hand of the All-wise One, Jehovah, was in it, and the maneuver was most blessed indeed. Thereafter Children, the author's edition, was disposed of to adult conventioners, on a contribution.    WT September 15 Page 288

Remember, Ray (R.) Franz, was a GB member.
Ray Franz, “In Search of Christian Freedom” – "I have seen people very greatly harmed by the false urgency surrounding the 1975 predictions, with some undergoing extreme emotional stress, families facing enduring economic strain for years, men who had given up good jobs having bouts with alcoholism due to the difficulty in finding new employment, elderly persons who faced a bleak future due to using insurance or similar funds prematurely, persons whose physical health was seriously damaged due to putting off surgery or other treatment.  If the sacrifice had been for truth, for God, for a noble purpose, then it would be worth it. But it was due to a mental concoction (Col 2:8) originating with one person and then promulgated by an organization and it ended in nothing, proved a complete fiction.
They may try to shrug it off, but the responsibility for all this rests with those who gave birth to the false hopes, who stirred up and excited illusionary expectations”  (p. 567)

Ray Franz, “In Search of Christian Freedom”, p. 425  – "The organization seeks to robe itself in the awesome role of a prophet of God and claim the deference that such a prophetic office merits.  Yet it disclaims the responsibility for accuracy that goes with the office.
If confronted with God’s words at Deuteronomy 18:20-22 about such prophetic accuracy, it presumes to set this aside as not applying to it in its role of a “genuine prophet”, and “authentic prophet class”.  By what right does it do so?  Does merely saying, “Well, we’re all imperfect”, excuse the organization from having that Biblical standard of a genuine prophet applied?    It asks its adherents to disregard its past trail, which is strewn with unfulfilled predications and now-rejected erroneous interpretations, and to continue to put near reverential trust in what it publishes, granting it the dignity and honor and credence due a prophet of God.  Instead of feeling humbled by the clear evidence of its erratic, zigzagging course, it becomes more strident in its claims, more dogmatic as to its pronouncements.  Is this the course of a “genuine prophet” of God?
When “the Assyrian” attacks, the elders must be absolutely convinced that Jehovah will deliver us. (3) At that time, the life-saving direction that we receive from Jehovah’s organization may not appear practical from a human standpoint. All of us must be ready to obey any instructions we may receive, whether these appear sound from a strategic or human standpoint or not.   W 13/11/15 p. 20

However, Jehovah did not let the people of Christendom, as led by the clergy, go without being warned that the League was a counterfeit substitute for the real kingdom of God. He had a “prophet” to warn them. This “prophet” was not one man, but was a body of men and women.  It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah’s Christian witnesses. They are still proclaiming a warning, and have been joined and assisted in their commissioned work by hundreds of thousands of persons who have listened to their message with belief.
Of course, it is easy to say that this group acts as a “prophet” of God. It is another thing to prove it. The only way that this can be done is to review the record. What does it show?  (Wt 4/1/1972 p. 197)
Have you done that lately?  They are inviting you to go back the birth of the organization and "review the record".
Here is your guideline to follow, when researching the record  - Insight Book 2, p. 694-698:
The true prophet would speak in Jehovah’s name; the things foretold would come to pass (De 18:20-22); and his prophesying must promote true worship, being in harmony with God’s revealed word and commandments (De 13:1-4). The last requirement was probably the most vital and decisive, for an individual might hypocritically use God’s name, and by coincidence, his prediction might see fulfillment. But the true prophet was not solely or even primarily a prognosticator, as has been shown. Rather, he was an advocate of righteousness, and his message dealt primarily with moral standards and their application. He expressed God’s mind on matters. (Isa 1:10-20; Mic 6:1-12) Hence, it was not necessary to wait perhaps for years or generations to determine whether the prophet was true or false by fulfillment of a prediction. If his message contradicted God’s revealed will and standards, he was false.
The true prophet never foretold simply to satisfy human curiosity. Every prediction related to God’s will, purpose, standards, or judgment. (1Ki 11:29-39; Isa 7:3-9) Often the future events foretold were the consequence of existing conditions; as the people sowed, so they would reap. The false prophets lulled the people and their leaders with soothing assurances that, despite their unrighteous course, God was still with them to protect and prosper them. (Jer 23:16-20; 28:1-14; Eze 13:1-16; compare Lu 6:26.) They imitated the true prophets, employing symbolic language and actions. (1Ki 22:11; Jer 28:10-14)

Are you bothered by my motives?
Are you claiming that you are not motivated by your motives?
    :))
This human characteristic is inseparable from every man and is deep within him. There is nothing without it. There are two types of motives: Natural motives and Acquired (social) motives.
What makes you eat every day? I guess hunger and a strong desire to be satisfied. So you have a motive.
What makes you participate in this forum? To advocate your point of view and your logic, right. Is your point of view always true? This is for discussion. You are convinced that you know the truth. Who can confirm that you are right? You yourself, or maybe Dmitar or someone else participating in the discussion? Or WTJWorg? Or some history book, You Tube, or Your Truther Community?
So, do not accuse others of using motives as driving forces, because that is also your driving force.

Falsehood and deception?   If you indeed "call it out", you would question just why 1975 was a topic among the leadership of the Watchtower, since false prophets are described in Deut 18:20-22,  labeling the Wt's leaders as such, when all of the Armageddon dates failed.  You would question their continuous change in doctrine, when Jesus told his disciples to "produce fruit that would last". (John 15:16)  You would question why they push men's doctrine that contradicts the word of God, since Jesus blamed the Pharisees for teaching doctrine of men. (Mark 7:7)
Instead, you take a topic and narrow down your focus onto one thing, letters of words that to you "prove" 1975 is...what, NOT a lie, NOT a false prediction?  Then, you call exjws, the liars because they know how the organization works.  You disregard the point that Watchtower danced around the topic every way they wanted, successfully misleading thousands to believe them - that Armageddon would arrive in 1975.  And then, when it didn't happen, the members receive the blame for the leadership's lies.
That - the fact that the leaders are false prophets, and not following the teachings of Jesus Christ, is what you could "call out"; but instead, you seem to defend the leaders and their lies.   What sort of "Truther" Preacher are you?
Here is a backward glance to 1975, which targets the year:
"In modern times such eagerness, commendable in itself, has led to attempts at setting dates for the desired liberation from the suffering and troubles that are the lot of persons throughout the earth. With the appearance of the book Life Everlasting-in Freedom of the Sons of God, and its comments as to how appropriate it would be for the millennial reign of Christ to parallel the seventh millennium of man's existence, considerable expectation was aroused regarding the year 1975. There were statements made then, and thereafter, stressing that this was only a possibility. Unfortunately, however, along with such cautionary information, there were other statements published that implied that such realization of hopes by that year was more of a probability than a mere possibility . It is to be regretted that these latter statements apparently overshadowed the cautionary ones and contributed to a buildup of the expectation already initiated.  Wt 3/15/1980

Did they stress it as "only a possibility" one hundred percent of the time?  No.  They bolstered their lie, and then they downplayed their lie.   As I said, they danced around, back and forth:
"Yes, the end of this system is so very near! Is that not reason to increase our activity?...Reports are heard of brothers selling their homes and property and planning to finish out the rest of their days in this old system in the pioneer service. Certainly this is a fine way to spend the short time remaining before the wicked world's end." (km 5/1974, p. 3)
'It also tells us that this millennium must be preceded immediately by the most destructive war in all human history. We can now see the political rulers... being gathered... for that War of all wars....' (Wt 7/1/1974)
    Post 1975 -
"It may be that some who have been serving God have planned their lives according to a mistaken view of just what was to happen on a certain date or in a certain year. They may have, for this reason, put off or neglected things that they otherwise would have cared for. But they have missed the point of the Bibles warnings concerning the end of this system of things, thinking that Bible chronology reveals the specific date." Wt 7/15/1976
Oh!  Now they are chastised for neglecting their homes and property that they were commended for selling, in order to pioneer.
Who "missed the point"?  Who had the "mistaken view"?  Well, who "published" the articles?  Who approved the articles?
This religion is an organization built on lies from the beginning.  It's leaders are false prophets, according to the word of God.  If one looked into their Insight book under "prophets" it clearly proves that Wt  leaders are false prophets. So, I will continue to call them out for it, just as you are trying so hard to call me out as a liar.
You, spin your wheels trying to take down people who realize this - people who lived it, lived the lie of 1975 and all the other failed dates, as well as their continuous need to change their "understanding".  Their biggest lie?   Hmmm.  1914
"Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him: We ask you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to be easily upset or troubled, either by a prophecy or by a message or by a letter supposedly from us, alleging that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy[c] comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits[e] in God’s temple, proclaiming that he himself is God."  2 Thess 2:1-4

You made pure repetition from WT magazines. Nothing unknown to me.
Obviously you skipped some WTJWorg articles. AGAIN! :))) Here are quotes just from one WT study magazine. For "stellar mind" would be enough.
Especially since the spiritually invigorating year 1919, the anointed remnant of Christ’s brothers fearlessly presented God’s judgments, powerful messages of calamity, to Christendom. ..............
Over the last seven decades, in conjunction with proclaiming the glorious hope of Jehovah’s incoming Kingdom, Jehovah’s Witnesses have spread around the world a veritable flood of denunciation and judgment...............
Have Jehovah’s Witnesses toned down God’s judgment? True, we live in an age when criticizing another religion is not considered the thing to do. Nevertheless, Jehovah’s Witnesses’ publications are spelling out the same message of judgment for Christendom as always..................
Therefore, Jehovah’s Witnesses will continue to visit the people of the nations with a message that stings the majority as an unpopular judgment but is happifying good news for a minority—the good news of God’s Kingdom
