That is why I feel that only inspired Anointed ones could translate the Bible properly and could teach true meaning from the Bible... The GB admit to not being inspired. 
 

Refinement periods .... finishing periods .... periods of training. Who and what needs those periods?
As the title of the topic itself clearly indicates, alleged “improvements” are something that needs, an organization, that is established by people.
Terms like “God’s Word is truth” are often associated with a literal book, and that is the Bible. But it goes on, so the idea is promoted that everything published by WTJWorg is also “God’s Word” or “the truth”.
The “Word of God” is not something that can only be tied to a book, the Bible. First of all, the reason why one should be careful with the Bible itself is the large amount of translations of the Bible that are often a source of misunderstanding for today's man. Not to mention that some translations are often times contradictory to each other and promote a particular ideology of a religious community. It follows that "the truth" is not seen or recognized from the book we calls too as "the Word of God."
So we have two parallel journeys in “refinement”. One embraces the Bible itself as the Word of God, and the other embraces the doctrines and theology of a particular church, in this case WTJWorg.
The questions logically arises: Who claims that "the truth" must undergo "refinement" ??? Why is the "truth" not in itself pure, unquestionable, without a doubt ???
If “truth” needs improvements from people in the 20th and 21st centuries, specifically, from people in WTJWorg, has that kind of “truth” ever been true in the past? Is it today?
WTJWorg connects the term “knowledge of the truth” with the Bible obtained by learning according to WTJWorg theology. Such "knowledge of the truth," they say, leads believers to "eternal life." We see that the WTJWorg “truth” needs to be reworked and modified and re-modeled. But not to make their “truth” become true, but to continue the illusion that this organization is the only one on Earth that knows how to come to a “new truth” and a “new light”. At the same time, the organization counts on the loyalty of the members, because only in that way can it continue with the "wandering in the desert", which is only possible if it continues to be financed with financial contributions from naive and deceived members.

These words were spoken recently by S. Lett, member of the governing body during the annual convention. He was referring to the news media, clergy and apostates; and along with them, is the entire ‘worldly’ influence that JWs must guard against.  He informed them that the wicked who are trying to assimilate them into their world, are numbered “900 to one”; the estimated ratio of the earth’s population, to the count of JWs. This means all peoples outside of the organization have been judged by the “governors” as wicked. Undoubtedly, his estimate would manufacture a variety of emotions; apprehension and fear toward those not JWs, along with a sense of chosen “righteous” privilege, assumed by members cloistered within the organization’s walls. (1 Cor 13:4; Prov 30:12-14; Jer 48:29; Isa 66:5,6; Matt 5:11,12; John 15:20; 16:2; Heb 13:13; Rev 13:15)
Satan imparts the skills of deception to his ministers who fall in step with his covert operation, but since deception hides the true intention of his works, how do we identify and locate his ministers? (Deut 18:20-22; Lam 2:14; Jer 23:17; 1 Thess 5:3; Luke 6:26; John 8:44; 2 Cor 4:3,4; 11:4; 1 Tim 4:1,2)  Using the familiar phrase heard while in the organization, we “examine the scriptures”, or as the speaker put it, “by diligent study” of God’s word. (Prov 24:3;2 Tim 2:15; 3:16,17)
This leader stated:
“In the near future another powerful enemy will come against us. This formidable foe is a coalition of nations called Gog in Ezekiel 38.  It says that Gog will come with a great assembly, a vast army like clouds covering the land.  They will come against God’s people. Now this could be a very intimidating situation. But dear brothers and sisters, your faith will make you stronger than Gog and will keep you stronger until Jehovah miraculously intervenes at Armageddon; and if you think about it, Armageddon is a rescue operation.  He will intervene and he will sweep attacking Gog away forever with a broom of annihilation.”
“Gog of Magog” is a term frequently used in the organization lately.  The biblical definition of “Gog, the land of Magog”:
Gog –“mountain”, the name of an Israelite, also of some northern nation. Of the prince of the land of Magog
Magog – land of Gog, a barbarous northern region/territory; also a great and powerful people under the name of a man   (Gen 10:2) 
Is it true that Gog of the land of Magog, is showing up during Armageddon as a great pool of national armies?  (Ezek 13:9)  These leaders are projecting spiritual fulfillment in politics and its rulers, in the same way that they have used prophecy of the destruction of early Jerusalem to Christendom’s downfall, by calling it the “antitypical Jerusalem”.  After decades of this teaching, they recently stated that there is no scriptural basis to fit Christendom into this role. So, who does fill this role?  Judgment and condemnation in the last days is where “New Jerusalem”/”Israel” resides. (Rom 9:6; 2:28,29; Phil 3:3; Gal 4:26)
Judgment comes upon God’s named people in the “saints”/anointed priesthood, under the wicked steward of God’s household. To these who are under covenant with God, prophecy has its fulfillment. (Isa 43:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Eph 2:20-22; Heb 3:6; 8:6-8; Ezek 5:5,6; 2 Chron 7:14; Jer 25:29; Isa 1:21; Luke 12:42,45; Rev 17:6; Luke 12:46; Hos 6:5; Jer 5:14; 23:29; Rev 18:8)
Taking on another antitypical role for Gog of Magog leads to a conundrum in teachings. The organization teaches that its members are the “remnant” to have come out of Babylon the Great, the “empire of false religion”. (Rev 17:5)  If they were faithful in their devotion to God and obeyed His laws, which JWs believes they are, would He allow this to occur to a perceived obedient people under His favor? (Lev 26:3,6) There is no biblical instance where nations plundered and persecuted His people when they were faithful, but plenty of examples to prove otherwise.  (Lev 26:14,15,21,22;  Jer 14:7,10;32:24; Ezek 5:13-15; Isa 29:7; Jer 6:6; Luke 21:20; Rev 20:8,9) 
However, the leader promised that persecution by the ‘news media, clergy, apostates’ and the nations cannot be avoided in the last days.  Yet simply, most of this “persecution” is the result of the organization’s various dark doctrines coming to light; their rejection of the words of Christ, which ultimately they will face accountability for.  (Ezek 5:14,15; Matt 10:26; John 3:19; 12:48; Rom 2:6-8; Eph 5:5,6,11; Heb 4:12; 2 Chron 36:15,16; Mal 3:1-3;Matt 17:11;Rev 11:1-3;14:6,7)
Why did the nation of Israel suffer persecution by the Chaldean army of Babylon? Under the leadership of stiff-necked rulers, Judah was wicked, disregarding God’s laws and defiling the temple.  (2 Chron 36:14; Hab 1:3,4,6; Zech 12:2)
“Didn’t you exist before time began, O Lord, my God, my Holy One? We will not die! O Lord, you have appointed the Babylonians to bring judgment. O Rock, you have destined them to correct us.”  Hab 1:12
The governing leader deftly avoided the true reason Gog of Magog attacked Israel in their day. There was no scripture cited to back up his untrustworthy prediction. 
“You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. 16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy through you before their eyes.”
Why would Gog be used to prove God’s holiness? 
“I will turn you around, drive you on, and lead you up from the remotest parts of the north. I will bring you against the mountains of Israel.”
“I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the judgment I have executed and the hand I have laid on them. 22 From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God. 23 And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile on account of their iniquity, because they dealt unfaithfully with me. Therefore, I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies, so that they all fell by the sword. 24 I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and transgressions, and I hid my face from them.”  Ezek 39:2,22-24
As a result of disobedience toward their covenant with God, Israel was promised discipline for their sin, which was manifested through Gog’s attack. (Deut 28:15,20,25,45,46) God’s supernatural show of unlimited power toward a repentant Israel, glorified His name not only among His refined people, but was witnessed among the nations.  (Ezek 38:23; 39:6,7,22,28; Joel 3:17)
Will JWs notice that Gog of Magog came upon Israel due to their repeated sin and gross abominations?  Since the organization’s “Gog” is predicted to bring havoc, does this mean that JWs will be “exiled” to “Babylon the Great”, most of them arrested and taken into bondage, as happened to the nation of Israel? (2 Chron 36:18-20; Ezek 17:12)   
What it does mean, is they are still under symbolic “Babylon’s” influence of drunken confusion and darkness, leading to death. (Isa 1:21;28:14,15,18; Rev 8:11;13:11,12,15,16; Rev 17:1,5,6; 18; 17:2,1,15; Jer 51:7; 13:13; Ps 60:3; Zech 12:2; Obad 1:16; Rev 14:8; Jer 51:7,6; Rev 18:4)
Their interpretation of Ezekiel’s Gog is nonsense and confusion. They have fabricated a storyline that is not even a “half-truth”, but a full-scale lie which has deceptively cloaked the identity of the army that has already come against anointed “Israel”.   This powerful army does not tolerate rebellion against its authority. (2 Chron 36:14-17; 2 Sam 7:14;Prov 23:13,14; Ezek 28:2; Dan 2:33; 11:37; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1-3;13:5-7)  
“How inappropriate it would be to challenge or undermine the authority of appointed elders!” Wt 2000/8/15 p. 29
Will their perception of Gog eventually be scrapped, as their previous long-taught doctrine of the devastating locusts in Joel, as God’s holy people?  Joel’s locusts are the northern army that came against Israel because of their rebellion and idolatry.  As we see in the above magazine quote, the great “army” of elders fulfill that role, who represent the “image” of the “spirit-directed organization”/idol, having full authority given them by the governing leaders.  They rule unchallenged over God’s holy people today, as they deceitfully “represent the royal priesthood”.  (Ezek 38:4,7; Joel 2:1-5;1:4,6; Dan 11:16,31; 8:25; 2 Thess 2:4; Rev 9:2,3,7-9, Ezek 4:1-3; Lev 26:18-19; Rev 13:4,11,12,15, 5-7; Dan 8:24) 
The book of Revelation also tells us of Gog and Magog.
Rev 20:7-9 -  When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea. 9 They came up across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them.
This event is highly avoided by the governing leaders. Why? It is difficult to “sell” the idea of a thousand-year paradise after Armageddon, where war and death will be no more; and alongside this promise, enforce the contradictive false doctrine that this peace ends in an act of war, leading to the death of many. (Isa 2:4; Rev 21:4; Rev 13:16,17) Thus, the leaders deliberately ignore Gog and Magog of Rev 20:7.  Apparently, they feel they must limit their own deceptions to preserve the appealing ones.    (Ezek 12:21-28; Isa 30:10)
Contrary to their “thousand-year” doctrine of peace, Gog and Magog show up when the symbolic thousand-year reign of Christ which began in the first century, reaches its end.  (Ps 110:1,2; Prov 25:5; Matt 10:34; 1 Cor 15:24-28) Satan is freed from his inability to “perceive” how to enact his scheme, to deceive the “the elect”.  (Ezek 38:10; Prov 24:8,9;1 Pet 5:8; Rev 12:1-3,12; Matt 24:24,25; 2 Cor 11:13-15; Prov 24:1,8,9; Col 2:8;1 Tim 4:1; Rev 13:10) 
Gog and Magog are marching on the earth when “Israel”/New Jerusalem is gathered and surrounded. (Hab 1:6-11) Satan and his army cannot deceive and surround the camp of the saints/anointed if they are ruling as heavenly faithful kings and priests in the Kingdom with Jesus Christ, and serving God in His Temple. (Heb 12:22; Rev 7:3,4,14,15; 22:3,4)
Their number is “like the sand of the sea”.  (Gen 22:17; Isa 10:22–23; Gal 3:26; Hos 1:10; 1 Pet 2:5,9,10; Rom 9:25-28) 
Christ’s anointed “kings of the earth”, the “beloved city”/ New Jerusalem, is surrounded today, and held captive by the “coalition” of an army of elders, wielding the weapon of deceit. (Rev 1:5; Lam 1:5; Isa 52:2; Col 2:8; Luke 21:24; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2; 13:5-7; Eph 6:11,12).
Since the organization’s inception, Satan and his “ministers”, the Harlot/false prophet and her Beast/organization, have gathered unsealed anointed, for the battle of Armageddon and its finale. (Joel 3:9-12,14; Rev 16:13-16; 17:1,3)  Through worldly offers of riches, power and dominance, he has won over unfaithful ones of “Israel”, and their “helpers” who have carried out his inspired plan.   (Luke 4:5-7; Hos 6:7; 2 Cor 11:2,3; 1 Cor 6:15,16;16;  Heb 12:16; Matt 24:24,25; Rev 8:11; 9:1,2; 13:11,15; 19:20; 16:13; 20:10)
Satanic deception during his “short time”, is at the core, causing a snowball effect that ultimately leads to the trampling of God Temple members. (Rev 20:3;12:12) (Isa 1:12,4,7) The final anointed remnant was ‘captivated’ by the organization’s message, misled by “signs and wonders” of false prophets.  Although they made this choice when they took the bait, it led to breaking their covenant with God and Christ, and leaving truth behind.  (Deut 13:1-5; Matt 24:24; 2 Thess 2:9-12; Dan 11:32; Hos 8:1; Ps 78:10; Mal 2:7,8)  (Col 2:8; Rev 13:10; 1 Tim 4:1; Col 2:18,19)
The have neglected their Temple responsibilities as God’s priesthood. (Mal 2:7; Isa 48:17-19; Amos 9:8-10; Ezek44:8-9;2 Chron 13:9; Jer 44:4; 7:30; 6:15; Dan 11:31; Matt 24:15,16) 
As Hab 1:12 tells us, the persecution that resulted was discipline that God’s people either responded to and repented for their sins (Ezek 39:25-29), or rebelliously ignored. (Lev 26:21-25; Prov 15:10; 1 Cor 11:32; Heb 12:7,8,11,15; Rom 11:7-10)
When God disciplined Israel, famine was always the result.  We see the earmark of spiritual famine, the absence of truth in God’s word, evident in the convention presentation. The leaders of spiritual “Israel” hide behind their refuge of lies and “treachery”. (Isa 28:14,15,22; Prov 23:1-3;Amos 8:11; 2Chron.15:3; Ps.74:9; Lev.26:26; Eze.4:10,11,12,13; Rev.6:5,6; Matt 7:15-20)  
Gog and Magog – the two Beasts of Rev. 13:1,2,11,12 – the Harlot and the Beast she rides – the false prophet and her organization/man of lawlessness that she directs…these identities and more, are one and the same. The characteristics of deceit are laced through the actions behind their titles.  (Rev 16:13-16) Deception has successfully diverted God’s anointed priesthood away from truth in Jesus Christ. 
The elders have set themselves up over the Temple members of God, as an army that stands “where it does not belong”. There is no “reverence” that God demands toward His Temple/sanctuary/holy place; not by the leaders, by JWs in general, and not by the blind and deceived “kings of the earth”.  (Lev 26:2; Heb 8:1,2; Num 18:7; 2 Chron 23:6,7; Ezek 44:7; Dan 11:31,32,36; Matt 24:15,16; Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2) (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20)
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."
God allows His Temple priests to be trampled, because they have lost their "saltiness" (Num 18:19; 2 Chron 13:5; Lev 2:13).
These have abdicated their royal authority (Luke 10:19) and have allowed the Beast to remove their continual sacrifice ("constant feature") (Luke 10:19; Rev 17:13) as priests and kings, in favor of subjecting themselves to the Image / Idol, of the Wild Beast! (Rev 13:7,8; 2 Thess 2:4; Dan 8:11,24,25; 11:31,36; 12:11) (2 Cor 11:20; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10,7,8).

However one wants to express it - “Gog of Magog”, or “Gog and Magog” -  the “camp of the saints” is held captive with the stealth of a lion on the prowl – Satan, who seeks to devour them. (1 Pet 5:8) Judgment is all inclusive; this deceitful team will not escape its own judgment, for trampling down God’s people.  (Prov 22:22,23; Ezek 39:6,7; 2 Thess 2:8; Rev 18:4-8; 20:10)

From within that Sodom-like City, God will cleanse a remnant and restore them, IF they are repentant. They are restored back, to being "the city of righteousness, the faithful City". (Isa 1:25-27; Zech 13:9; Mal 3:3; Zech 4:9,6,12,14; Rev 11:4,3; 3:12; 21:2; Ps 48:8)

This elder depicted teaching what appears to be the lie of 1914 obviously isn’t a priest, he’s just a gentile, but he doesn’t care nor does that stop him from defiling the temple (1 Cor 3:17). He abolishes the daily sacrifice of praise from the priesthood with ease, without even batting an eye (Dan 11:31), while being a full fledged man of lawlessness he exalts himself above even the prophets (2 thess 2:4). Does any of this brother him? Not in the least.
In ancient Israel’s day he’d be put to death for doing this:
“but an unauthorized person who comes near the sanctuary will be put to death.” Num 18:7b
But hey, look at the bright side, everything is going according to Gods plan…

JW leaders have successfully mocked God and Jesus Christ, by claiming that uninspired JW elders (which represents the person teaching in this picture) and JWs in general, will fill in Noah, Samuel, David and Daniel about Jesus Christ, when the Kingdom arrives.  These men were all prophets who foretold the coming Christ.  God put the words in their mouths.  (Jer 1:9; Isa 51:16; 59:21)  Will He stop inspiring them with knowledge in the Kingdom?   The spiritual Temple of God's dwelling in spirit  is built on the apostles and the prophets, with Jesus as the chief cornerstone.  They do not need anyone to "reveal" to them, what happens in Armageddon.  All of their truthful words come together, and are proclaimed against "Israel" in the last days. (Eph 2:20-22; Rev 10:7;22:6) 
We can see why.  The picture is a deceptive lie.  
 On its most debased level, we have a man in dress clothes and tie, with a printed chart lecturing prophets, who sit on wooden stools.  The uninspired man/elder is exalted, while the prophets are demeaned.  And you accept this, JWs?  
This is a mockery, blasphemy and stupidity.
I'm sure your leaders or "helpers" are checking in here.  To them, I give these scriptures:
"Offer to God a thank offering
and pay your vows to the Most High.

I'm sorry to hear about the awful pain and suffering. I didn't know, and I hope that doesn't mean I wasn't reading your posts carefully.
I'm in my 60's too, and up until recently, if I was still up at 2am, I played a few quick games against opponents sometimes on Scrabble, but mostly on chess.com because chess always makes me tired enough to fall asleep soon after. This weekend, also at 2am, I enjoyed a lazy, virtual flight from London to Paris to Versailles to Le Havre to Copenhagen etc. (My bro-in-law, an actual pilot, is in Copenhagen.) I like the ground scenery at low altitudes, and it's fun to see if you can find places using only your compass and visual landmarks. It's relaxing but it doesn't put me to sleep. I just want to go on to the next place.
Here attached below is just a very short (choppy) snippet from Monday night's flight from Ramapo, NY then over to the Hudson River and a quick peek at the north end of Central Park. I find the scenery relaxing, especially over the areas that are built up in 3D.

I'm in my sixties and still enjoy the newer versions of the older video games. Don't play them with the time and zeal as before, but they take mind off the awful pain and suffering I'm in now. I do have to choose which ones I play with my grandchildren, since we can play across country, they love to beat up on old grandpa, at times.

Yes, I've caught wind this as well. They're calling it a pilot something or another for about two, maybe three months.
For the most part, we can assume that children say under what I believe to be 12 years old, won't be attending these meetings because they have not been vaccinated for Covid-19. Being vaccinated is part of the requirements as far as showing up at these Kingdom Hall meetings. So unless the age limit changes to a lower age for receiving C-19 vaccinations, we can pretty much assume those 12 and under will not be in attendance at these Kingdom Hall's.
So although I have concern about the members returning to the Kingdom Hall's for their meetings, something's just not right about this whole thing. I my share my concerns later. But I agree with you Space Merchant on becoming more educated on CSA. Especially on how this organization has set things up on how to handle CSA case's. Unfortunately it is because of lack of Education on CSA that the Elders will remain absolutely ignorant regarding how the leadership of the Org is going to keep having them do their dirty work for them all the while intending for the elders to take the fall as they keep getting thrown under the bus by the leadership of the organization. The leadership will then claim that they had nothing to do with how the elders own conscience had lead him to take care of their own congregation reports of alleged CSA case's. Much like in the Montana CSA case where when the perpetrator admitted guilt when questioned by the elders, changed his mind and skipped town down to Mexico.
In the Utah case where an elder decided to display his own infinite wisdom by taking it upon himself to make an alleged victim who was 14 at the time of her alleged rape, listen to an audio recording, that the alleged rapist, who was 18 at the time that he had allegedly raped her, had made. This audio recording with which he had recorded without her consent nor her knowledge, of her very own alleged rape was handed over to the elder so as to confirm his innocence. This way the elders could listen to it and determine whether she was a consensual partner as the 18 year old had claimed or not. She nor her parents were made aware that this audio recording even existed until after this judicial meeting had started. Five hour's, I repeat, FIVE HOUR'S of her having to listen to this audio recording as the Elder would repeatedly stop and ask her questions such as, "describe what was going on here?" She begged him to stop making her listen to it and to answer to him. Everyone in this judicial meeting could see how she was visibly shaking and crying while being made to re-live this alleged rape that she had originally reported to the elders. Her parents were informed either before or during the beginning of this judicial meeting, that they were not to interrupt this meeting under any circumstances otherwise the consequence would be their daughter's disfellowshipping. As I recall, I believe the parents were threatened with the consequence of disfellowshipping as well their daughter, so all three of them were in fact being horribly traumatized. Yet Mr. Infinite Wisdom Elder would start up the recording, play it for a bit more and then stop the recording to make more inquiries of her. Yes, she continue to beg the elder to stop through her tears.
Actuality, aside from a few cases like these two above case's, the elders do exactly as they are instructed to do by the leadership. They make that phone call to headquarters for them to receive their legal advice. Which they ( the elders ) are basically there to stall the rank and file members from ever opening up any CSA case's with the secular Authorities. So when elders tell alleged victims of CSA that they have every right to tell the police, these elders have no intention to cooperate with the police when asked to. The elders will also add that by starting a case with the secular Authorities, it will only drag Jehovah's name through the mud. This statement alone is often a  successful deterrent on the part of the elders to avoid the rank-and-file members from filing any charges with the secular authorities.
In my opinion, all of this "dragging Jehovah's name through the mud" is a sorry explanation of an excuse used for the reason of stalling their members to not go to the secular authorities. But it works, so they'll continue to use it.
How about Jehovah take some responsibility for his own reputation rather than making it the rank-and-file members responsibility. This is truly an unfair and uncalled for burden to put on alleged victims of CSA as well their families, 

WTJWorg and its representatives all these years have not written or said that the JW church has a problem with the CSA. They claim that these are false accusations and slanders by the "hostile world" and former members. Denying that a problem exists is also a type of education that JW members receive from their religious leaders. And you are calling me here that I am against education?

Sometimes my memory is short. I am not pretending. You speak more than it is necessary, when try to expose other people, supposed/alleged motives and position.  
CSA is not "test" for victims, but it is "test" for GB and JW elders who put themselves in position to judge people (perpetrators and victims) about it. Who put themselves in position to bring Policy that is obligated for members to respect and obey inside WTJWorg. When JW elders convince a victim that they cannot and must not trust him/her because there are no two witnesses to support his/her claim, then it is disrespect to the victim. I think your claim is misdirected. Disrespect, in this example, cannot be directed at the type of crime, but at the people who experienced that crime on their own skin. Not trusting and not helping a victim who has gone through “hell”, that is disrespect/disrespectful.

He is an interesting character. I presenting myself with real name (some would say that is a risk, because bad people can use photo and name for evil purpose) on this Forum and elsewhere if i leave comment or put "like". He have idea how visiting internet places, let say 1, 5 or 35 of millions that exists, means how person is "all over the place". Wrong choice of words. Yes, i am Member in this Club.  If I want to leave a comment in this club or on some other page, then it is logical that I have to log in. Does that make me a “member” who swears allegiance?  If you do not want to loosen your perseverance, feel free to continue in the same scenario. One of our case studies examined the responses of the Jehovah’s Witness organisation to allegations of child sexual abuse. We also held an institutional review hearing to provide an opportunity for the Jehovah’s Witness organisation to inform us of its current policies and procedures in relation to child protection and child safe standards, including responding to allegations of child sexual abuse.
As of 31 May 2017, of the 4,029 survivors who told us during private sessions about child sexual abuse in religious institutions, 70 survivors told us about abuse in the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Of the victims we heard about, 80.0 per cent were female. The average age of victims at the time of first abuse was 8.4 years. Of the 53 survivors who told us about the age of the person who sexually abused them, 44 survivors (83.0 per cent) told us about abuse by an adult and 12 survivors (22.6 per cent) told us about abuse by a child. A small number of survivors told us about sexual abuse by an adult and by a child. The vast majority of survivors who told us about abuse by an adult perpetrator said they were abused by a male adult.
Of the 65 survivors who told us during private sessions about the role of a perpetrator, 26.2 per cent told us about child sexual abuse by family members. This was considered to be within our Terms of Reference when the sexual abuse was reported to and handled by the religious institution. We also heard from survivors about other perpetrators including volunteers (13.8 per cent), lay leaders (9.2 per cent) and other adults who attended the religious institution (9.2 per cent).
As part of our case study, the Jehovah’s Witness organisation provided us with files containing allegations, reports or complaints of child sexual abuse. They provided us with documents relating to at least 1,800 children and over 1,000 alleged perpetrators.
Institutional responses to child sexual abuse in the Jehovah’s Witnesses
Our case study regarding the Jehovah’s Witnesses showed that the organisation dealt with allegations of child sexual abuse in accordance with internal, scripturally based disciplinary policies and procedures. We found that at least until 1998, individuals making complaints of child sexual abuse were required to state their allegations in the presence of the person against whom the allegations were made. The ‘two-witness’ rule applied – that is, wrongdoing could only be established on the basis of testimony from two or more ‘credible’ eyewitnesses to the same incident (or strong circumstantial evidence testified to by at least two witnesses or testimony of two witnesses to the same kind of wrongdoing). Allegations were investigated by elders, all of whom were men and had no relevant training.
We found that in deciding the sanctions to impose and/or the precautions to take in relation to a known or suspected perpetrator of child sexual abuse, the Jehovah’s Witness organisation had inadequate regard for the risk that the person might reoffend. Alleged perpetrators of child sexual abuse who were removed from their congregations as a result of allegations of child sexual abuse were frequently reinstated. We found no evidence of the Jehovah’s Witness organisation reporting allegations of child sexual abuse to police or other civil authorities.
During our case study we heard from survivors of child sexual abuse that they were not provided with adequate information by the Jehovah’s Witness organisation about the investigation of their allegations, felt unsupported by the elders who handled the allegations, and felt that the investigation process was a test of their credibility rather than that of the alleged perpetrator. We also heard that victims of child sexual abuse were told by congregational elders not to discuss the abuse with others, and that if they tried to leave the organisation, they were ‘shunned’ or ostracised from their religious community.
Contributing factors in the Jehovah’s Witnesses
We considered a number of factors that may have contributed to the occurrence of child sexual abuse in the Jehovah’s Witnesses or to inadequate institutional responses to such abuse.
The Jehovah’s Witness organisation addresses child sexual abuse in accordance with scriptural direction, relying on a literal interpretation of the Bible and 1st century principles to set practice, policy and procedure. These include the ‘two-witness’ rule as discussed, as well as the principle of ‘male headship’ (that men hold positions of authority in congregations and headship in the family). Scripturally, only men can make decisions. Other scripture-based policies include the sanctions of reproval (a form of discipline that allows a perpetrator to remain in the congregation), disfellowshipping (exclusion or excommunication as a form of punishment for serious scriptural wrongdoing), and shunning (an instruction to the congregation not to associate with a disfellowshipped person). As long as the Jehovah’s Witness organisation continues to apply these practices in its response to allegations of child sexual abuse, it will remain an organisation that does not respond adequately to child sexual abuse and that fails to protect children.
We recommend that the Jehovah’s Witness organisation abandon its application of the two-witness rule in cases involving complaints of child sexual abuse (Recommendation 16.27), revise its policies so that women are involved in processes relating to investigating and determining allegations of child sexual abuse (Recommendation 16.28), and no longer require its members to shun those who disassociate from the organisation in cases where the reason for disassociation is related to a person being a victim of child sexual abuse (Recommendation 16.29).
We welcome the inclusion in the recently published Child safeguarding policy of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Australia of a requirement to report child sexual abuse to civil authorities in cases where elders consider that a child may still be at risk of harm. The Jehovah’s Witness organisation should also amend all of its policies and procedures relating to child sexual abuse to ensure that this requirement is included.

I am a regular guest on this Forum, for now. Sometimes I leave a comment on another YT video or someone’s blog or whatever it’s called, a page or something. So it’s not a problem that I have the freedom to choose and view other people’s content elsewhere. But you make a big question out of it. Am I interested in which platforms you operate on? Not. Yes, if we count few individuals at this Forum, called Jehovah's Witnesses Open Club, with informative topics.
This Open JW Club is in fact "illegal" in the eyes of WTJWorg and GB and Legal Department. In what sense  "illegal"?  The title of club contains the name Jehovah's Witnesses. I assume that the name Jehovah's Witnesses  is the intellectual property of WTJWorg and should not be used without their consent. Because the club does not have the approval of the GB to promote JW religious ideas beyond/out of the range of official JW religious teachings of the JW Church and outside the official JW channels. Because this club does not have the GB approval to conduct any debate that calls into question the JW religious system. Because there is no GB approval for the discussion to be led by current and former JW members (discussion of this type, ie interaction between current and former members is actually completely forbidden by GB). If the JW elders of the congregations, to which the members of this club belong, learned that these JW brothers and sisters are members of this club and that they are participants in the discussions, they would be invited to serious conversation and at least warned if not rebuked or even excluded / dfd from the JW assembly.
The claim that JW members are aware of the prevalence of CSA within the JW church is arbitrary and I am not sure that your picture is correct regarding their awareness of CSA. One young brother (approximately 30 years old) told me directly in 2015 that he did not believe in the CSA within the JW and that he did not believe in court rulings in this regard. He recently became an elder in my former congregation. It is to be expected that his position on this issue has not changed, that is, that he is still in a state of denial. CSA is at least 50 years inside WTJWorg. I found about real CSA JW victims with name and face and court rulings only in "secular" sources, not on pages of WTJWorg magazines or their videos.
Oh man. You are "worst" than them.   If 30 year old JW male member claimed how this are all lies, in 2015, and one GB member made similar claim on JWTV, then problem is not about "how to deal" with something (CSA in this moment), but about general denial that CSA exist inside WTJWorg. Other GB member made different view when made public statements.
 
 
I'm glad you mentioned that. When I realized that the topic could become a source of misinformation because I didn’t understand the English text in the video well, so I misinterpreted it, deleting the topic was a good choice, in my opinion. If the owner of this Forum thought I should have reacted differently, then he would certainly have warned me about it. But that is his right as the owner, not yours. If I have offended your feelings by deleting that topic, then I apologize to you. I hope that one day in the future you will be able to forget that topic and move on with your healed feelings. 
Regarding solutions. Your solutions and counsels or recommendations, that without doubt are good, would be, i guess, welcomed in WTJWorg if you deliver to them in writing. WTJWorg is a large system that has millions of members and millions of those associated with them. So, if they got the information you have about solving a CSA problem, you would do a good deed that would benefit millions. 
On contrary, i am only on this platform, JW Open Club. Please, tell us all here, what are those names of "all over the place" where i am and, allegedly, participate, and supposedly, I make an impact on millions ?
