    Yeah it was crazy, in my day we were raised to shun witnesses who started to do less field service work and/or attend meetings. Totally opposite of what Jesus taught.

    Ok, twice I have posted proof how the watchtower has misquoted other sources or taken quotes out of context and twice it's not showing up. Did they get deleted, they were after all open source information.

    It does appear that they are attempting to copywrite the NWT and all their publications. As far as being concerned about people misquoting their content, they have no concern when they misquote or take out of context other sources...most of the time not giving source information for the misquoted context.

    I kinda like seeing the witnesses having a good time, raising their hands, clapping, dancing. As long as they are doing it to worship God. That's how the bible describes cheerful worship.

    The only reference for new light is at 2Corinthians 11:14. The watchtower has had a lot of new light in it's history.

    It wasn't until recently they started calling themselves Jehovah's Christian Witnesses. Growing up a jw, the word Christian was a very derogatory word in my house and congregations.
