We're not changing any teachings silly, we are changing our understanding of them. 

TH-L-M is 3 letters in Arabic. (TH is pronounced like ' the' in English.      Thalaam means darkness and THULM is injustice.  These two words use the same consonants. 
For me it is fascinating that darkness (no light) is equated with injustice.  There will be terrible despair and mental darkness when the world is without the justice which comes from Jehovah.  He created us to live with his brand of justice ...... not this culture of sexual justice, color-of-your- skin justice,  and much more which is now the new philosophy permeating the entire western world and its justice system.
What is more - this type of justice will be forced onto all mankind and humans with different views will face penalties when they do not compromise their views.... .  If you have been marked as a sexist due to sticking to marriage as between a man and a woman etc.  - anyone who is on your phone list or has contact with you will also face penalties irrespective of their own views.  This is already happening in China and they are busy exporting the 'social justice'  ideas into the health ID which everyone  will soon be required to show when you go out to shop (buy) .... or sell.   Christians will pretend not be Christians because they will be targeted as they are known to have more  conservative sexual views. 
Yes - the world is going completely in opposition to Jehovah and the powers now in control are forcing their world view on everyone in order to bring their brand of "peace and security".
There is much going on at present which I can show you. So it is not a matter of speculation as pudgy has indicated. Bible prophecy is already going into fulfillment so one can watch what is going on.
For example - the UN is now dictating all policies to western governments including the sexual policies in school.  2 years ago the UN made an agreement with the WEF (World Economic forum).  Look at their website and google the Agreement. 
The WEF (DAVOS crowd) are all the richest people in the world and 'old money' such as prince Charles, together with people like Kissinger and other world leaders and the G20 nations.  Look at the member list on the WEF website - most are the largest global corporations together with the central banks. They have already taken over the world's food supply, water, energy, land and much more to position themselves as the new world leaders.... a kind of a techno-corporatocracy with UN showing the way with its Agenda 2030 policies (sustainable development or save-the-earth policies).

We are heading into the final phase which will trigger the great tribulation.  This WEF believes in dismantling the world economic system to bring in a new and better (equalized) world where food will be rationed etc. All humans will receive digital money from a central bank (linked to UN) and points taken off for their carbon footprint. They are using the pandemic to restructure the financial system which will give them control over every living being (and thing) on earth  Their motto is 'build back better'.  (they are building an inventory of everything and they already know your views because they have been building a profile on all of us for at least 10 years with their super computers and databases and tech companies as all complying - they are Davos allies. 
We know how this is going to end.  It is the last attempt of humans to bring total equality (except the rulers who devised this plan) to all humans and to control their speech so they do not disrupt "the harmony" of society.  It will be a fascistic government which will control all to bring "peace and security.". 
It is here folks! and it has come so stealthily that most JWs are not aware of it BUT luckily we JWs have been preparing for it spiritually! Because this is the only thing which can save us - our relationship with Jehovah!   So if it suddenly hits JWs-  they were expecting it all along.  But many worldly people have NO clue.......the darkness (no light from Jehovah) together with extreme injustice will soon become more openly practiced.
The only reason I know about it is because I set a goal to watch the world and to see what is going on. I am not smart or have no special insight.....  I just watch world affairs in the light of bible prophecy.
 
I read the other day that China has so many satellites in space now and there is so much debris up there..... it set me wondering if we would start seeing literal signs in heaven ..... lol.   Some are saying that a war is inevitable and Satellite warfare is on the cards.  Just speculating!  But in all seriousness - many people will realize that the human rulership has messed up - darkness on earth - NO future hope as individuality is crushed and a collectivism is enforced!  They will wish to learn about Jehovah but it will be too late  because religion will have been destroyed. 
 

Guess you never heard about Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod and the tower of Babel?  The trinity was a pervious pagan teaching prior to 381 CE.  The pagan roman emperor, sun god worshiper (aka First Pope) adopted it has a Christendom doctrine.  The Apostasy began towards the end of the first Century then under the guise of Catholicism then branched off into some 3,000 cults that deny Jesus as the Christ the son of the living God. (Mathew 16:16). Otherwise known as the Man of Lawlessness or Christendom. 

The united nations is bringing in an electronic money system and a covid-19 passport dictatorship which will surveille everyone - including what they will buy or sell. 3rd world countries are now receiving help from the IMF etc to survive Corona.  There are predatory strings attached to them receiving financial help.  They have to tow the line. It is very possible that by 2030 the UN Agenda 2030 will be fully implemented.  Biden is accelerating UN Agenda 2030 with all his executive orders for sustainable development. The emergency powers given by Trump has played into the hands of the World Economic Forum - which has an agreement with UN to assist with money to have the UN plan implemented ........ to bring world 'peace and security' and the earth saved by "sustainability'........

He did not say there will be 'a great tribulation' but rather he stated, 'there will be great tribulation'.   "During that time {Jesus Christ} will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of your people. And there will occur a time of distress such as has not occurred since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, everyone who is found written down in the book." (Daniel 12:1) Today, we have entered into the Wintertime of Satan's system of things. The world of mankind whether righteous or unrighteous, are undergoing a time of distress. I’m expecting to lose it all.....and it will be a final testing of sorts for many of us.....somehow I’m thinking..rightly or wrongly? ...when it does all go...the visible structures of Jehovah’s witnesses...it has to some how represent...the scattering of the apostles..when Jesus was taken into custody and trial...and killed...
The most favored and trusted ..fled and were confused after his death...they actually went back to work fishing...not knowing what to do.
They did not cope with out his visible presence..even tho he had explained it to them.
How will we cope without a visible bricks and mortar..or if zoom also goes down?
Even Jesus himself cried out ...My God My God why have you forsaken me!!...he FELT it had gone on too long........in moments of anguish..will we as a people feel we have been tricked...will our faith and trust be tested when it all goes...and if he allows it all to go?
I am thinking that it also corresponds with the Israelites on leaving Egypt in organized safe military style escape.
When they were bought up against the sea..against the mountains...and hearing the chariots and horses of Egypt bearing down on them...in fear..and lack of trust In Jehovah..they felt they had been deceived...and cried out to Moses and ready to stone him for tricking them...will he allow the same situation come upon his modern day people in the last days?
Why not?....if he allowed his own son for a very brief time to think he had been a abandoned...why not us his motley crew of people.

And Witness heralded some rumor about Watchtower and the ARC and almost immediately had to take it back as it proved false.
No one has time to unravel them all, but this will prove to be something similar. Or it may be just as you said, an end case of dementia or a mate who could no longer see the other suffer. As to somehow it becoming the fault of elders, we routinely hear of atrocities committed today and it turns out that the persons had been reported previously to police. But they receive so many of these reports, from so many persons, that they can’t possibly keep up, and such reports fall through the cracks. There is at most a quick visit by a social worker to pronounce counsel was given & all is now okay, and then a mass shoot-em-up occurs.

I visited an old age home as a reporter many years ago in Africa.  The Afrikaner whites are an extremely religious people.
They showed me a sweet looking elderly couple in their 80s.  The old lady became hyperactive due to 'adrenal issues' and was on the go (hyperactive) in excess.  The old man was a very relaxed quiet type of guy.... not easily roused.
Once day a nurse came into the room and the old man was strangling the old lady.  They had to put them in separate rooms from then on and watch them. 
Yes, living confined with dementia or other health issues can bring out the worst in anyone / or in each other. The JW elder may not have taken the old man seriously enough to report him to a psychiatrist or to the police.  What else could he do? Remove the old man from his own home? 
These are issues which are hard to deal with in the elderly..... and not all end up in real murder.....The man is still head of his own household and it is a tragedy the situation was out of control.  Some old people also get a controlling streak which aggravates with age.  Having served god for many years I will leave it in the hands of Jehovah to judge the situation. Maybe the old man could not watch her suffering any longer ?  His frustration with her was too much? 
I do not have a 'blanket' respect  for all judges after seeing the level of lawless judgments in USA, UK, Canada, Australia and NZ. It is like the period before the Israelites were exiled from Jerusalem....  Judges were more corrupt than the people to  benefit themselves.  I see a similar pattern today.  So do not take this judge's censure too seriously. There are good judges and useless ones.  This one just wanted to get back at JWs.  He is not a thoughtful person.

I read recently that China was taking Christians into custody that were regularly using zoom. I think the platform will allow for this type of government abuse.  In the end it could make all of us more vulnerable.  I do not know what is the solution because the JW app has now been banned in Russia.  So a JW meeting app may not work either.   
I think we are reaching a time where we all will have to be ready to stand up for our faith and even go to "re-education camps"  for it..... it is this serious. 
I have also heard of kingdom halls that were successfully sold.  There is a boom in property sales now (a massive bubble)- so the GB will get some money to go on from selling properties.  They must sell while the boom lasts. Halls cost money to maintain with no-one using it.
Inflation is going up and the stock market and housing market is artificially high (just as before the great depression).  The dollar has lost so much of its value that the food prices will soon be shooting up.
We really are close to a great catastrophe.....  The central banks will soon replace the physical money with digital money and start a new fiat digital  currency to keep the world gong. They want to centrally control all of us.  The money you have in your bank and the house which is yours may be nationalized.  Gold and siver can be taken away and bitcoin may be illegal. When we do not comply to their moral standards (being Christians) our "universal income" will be cut off.  The hate towards Christians is growing.  We are not the same as other Christians ... but to them we are part of that category.
The GB are smart to let kingdom halls go as we can no longer physically meet.  The vaccination will not stop (more to come) as it gives them control over us.  It is the beginning of a series of vaccinations. People are starting to wake up to the manipulation going on but we are like helpless little birds in a trap - only Jehovah can remove us from it by some miracle.
The Ezekiel book we did 3 weeks ago reminded me of our situation now.  The city (world) in lockdown and a third dying of hunger and pestilence - the rest by the sword. Those fleeing will also be pursued.  Pretty grim picture but I think it is very possible for our time.
The final climax of the world where science and tech (human pride for what they can achieve)  is the new god. They will use it for oppression because they are imperfect and they are all atheist. 
Keep the faith, attend the meetings as long as possible and stay true to Jehovah. Do not get the mark of the beast (any identification as putting trust in any part of the world political system.)  Human institutions are now all corrupt and soon will be obsolete. 

I don't think I wish to be responsible for transporting people, for several reasons, so that would suit me, but I would like to see other members in person from time to time.

A CO who talked to my father about a requested upgrade to the sound system in the KH and who recommended that this upgrade effort go towards a different need in the Norco Assembly Hall. I heard something like it from a trusted elder in NYC. He claims it's talk from "higher up," and I didn't press him.

My vision is that the G.B. Please note that the format that we have followed for decades is not the only one. I mean: since there were 3 big annual meetings in Israel, we had three big meetings -assemblies-.
Kissing, hugging, touching, "sniffing" us is biblical and appropriate. But during the week the meeting ends late, the children have to go to school early, they have to have dinner ... Well, why not the meeting during the week for zoom, and the face-to-face weekend, at the k.h.?
Large assemblies could be made voluntary. Brothers eager to meet others, to meet, to embrace, to take photos, to meet potential future spouses... These meetings could be prepared and voluntarily attended (as now international ones)
But those of us who want to listen, learn, those of us who do not have much money, or many children, or sick family members, and who attend an assembly lasting several days involves a great effort and small returns (in terms of learning), because we could have those assemblies in the zoom format, for several weekends, like lately.
It follows from the above that all assembly halls could be sold. Send home hundreds of brothers who are employed to support them. Save thousands of hours of volunteer work preparing assemblies worldwide, save money ...
To keep it short: we would use the best of both worlds. Face-to-face + zoom.
(Sometimes I ask Jehovah to "enlighten the C.G. on this - sure, but I suppose that many, many factors escape me ,,,)

Unfortunately these sites and others such as e watchman...e JW ..and beroeans pickets...of which at some stages and many years I was a member of ...and of which I usually got disfellowshipped or banned from.
All start out ..promoting Jehovah’s people as Gods true people but in serious error...hence their web sites...and they also go on to promote their own understandings on certain issues..
The serious matter that happens with such places is that they are refusing and lacking trust in Jehovah to be able to correct, allow..and rule his people as he sees fit.
Thus they act in a presumptions manner trying to do what he has not done ( in their minds) and eventually they go on to claim JWs were never a people he used anyway etc etc.
yet many have had doubtful thoughts answered in a proper scriptural manner..thus they become trusting...and primed for future deceiving.
Jehovah is allowing these places to exist...as a winnowing...many have come to understand this...some unfortunately get caught up and deceived by these ones who themselves are deceived...they are not evil...but like Eve ....thoroughly deceived.
I also have read ray Franz...but it strengthened my faith that Jehovah does indeed use a faulty people...I read his second book and binned it half way thru as I could see what he was doing....much like in time such web sites you have named and I have been on do.
They promote their own understandings..(all seem to become anointed...).most feel they are needed to do this I guess..because they truly LACK TRUST that Jehovah does not see the errors and will fix them when he is ready.
The thing is...most of these are lovely people..nicer..kinder ...better in personality ..and deeds ..than myself....but this too is a trap in itself..
He USES faulty sinful men..men who make serious errors...such as Moses Jonah..King David..and yes even and more so theGB...to get his job done but to teach us and them...it is HE...and only HE..who achieves his desired plans...regardless of who he uses.
On line has always been a playground for the demons ...they are very very active on all sites...they are enticing To hurt and stumbling ones....but they will devour them off course...but not all are deceived..not all fall prey to them....
This has serious consequences as all witnesses need to learn...Moses did not make it into the promised land for a number of reason...Firstly he railed at the people for the being rebellious...of which he had no right to do nor was he commanded to say that...He forgot..THEY WERE JEHOVAHS PEOPLE...not his.......and then he hit the rock twice..in anger...expressing a leaning on his own understanding and a feeling and lack of trust in Jehovah that it needed it...( there is more to that hitting the rock twice which is very serious but I won’t enter into here ) Also he promoted himself and Aaron here in a presumptuous manner.
This is what happens on line ...ones who suddenly claim to be anointed ..and feel directed by this anointing  to correct or safely guide JWs to a real place of spiritual  security...thus a lack of faith that their God of Who they claim to worship can not do this .
Jehovah’s Witnesses get more hate and abuse on line than the Natzis ...some of it earned..some of it not..a lot of it directly from demons using certain types of personalities.......and unless you are prepared to understand how Jehovah deals with his people down thru time...and WHY...it will definitely stumble some....
You are right..this is not a Jehovah’s Witness site....and I’m giving you your just due in saying that....and there should be a warning as such for ones who come here...
Having said all of that...many go to such sites because of huge errors and pain they experience in certain congregations..
This must be acknowledged..and recognized ..some things that have been allowed is nothing short of ruthless and cruel.....but this has always been amongst his people..when certain kings ruled ruthlessly over his people...he allowed it...I now  view it as a testing for me ..
I also have seen great love and genuine care...of which tips the scales to the better degree.
Being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses means their really is a world bond like no Other  I can think of....if you travel overseas and bump into a brother or sister and it becomes known to both parties...their is a great exuberance of fellow feeling and love to a stranger...even for that short moment of pleasantry exchanges..there is a bond...and it’s undeniable..
One could physically feel it at our last assembly when all the songs were played at the end of the convention....at that time...all the errors and pain become a thing of the past...and we were just a motley lot of people try to bend our knees to Our Great Creator....and it was a glimpse of what it will be like in the New World ...
Lastly I would like to say...I do not believe that a real anointed one would ever go on line and sow seeds of doubt..and put any brothers and sisters life in danger  so as they may risk a spiritual death....nor would they be discreet in claiming to be one....
I have no issues with a chatty forum amongst brothers and sister and discussing subjects not openly discussed amongst us for whatever reasons....I think some...were once like that..and I enjoyed them ....but .then they seem to slowly morph into a hatred of anything to do with the watchtowers or JWs...or even using Jehovah’s name.

There are some good videos online that deal with this.  I answered Dawkins on his video with the long neck of the giraffe many years ago. Gave a long spiel. The artery that goes up the long neck and the nerves indicate the opposite of what he was saying. He is a nasty piece - as are most militant atheists I have come across.

I couldn’t stand JTR when I first came across him. But as he yielded ever so slightly, and then substantially, before he crashed and burned over other issues, I came to like him.
In some ways, he was like you, only not hypocritical. He seems to have more or less behaved himself in whatever congregation he attended, but did not hide the fact that he had non-conforming views on many things. He acted ugly here, but less so than you. He certainly did not display abuse for individuals, as you routinely do. It is the overall organization he took issue with—bad, maybe, but not hypocritical.

Have you ever done an analyses of the main theme of the bible and follow the golden thread as it runs right throughout the bible?   I guarantee you,  one does not need to argue with anyone over evolution when you understand how consistent and realistic this theme is and how the continuity of it runs throughout every book if the bible.  Most of these prophets lived in different centuries and were not living at the same time or in the same place  to influence each other. One comes to the conclusion that the bible is " reality" - the bible is powerful in its consistency and Jehovah is all powerful in his logic and justice.
Humans have only scratched the surface of science and soon will have the whole world dying or suffering with their so-called outrageous science ideas which they will forcibly apply to mankind in their arrogance - NOT for the benefit of human kind but to our detriment.
Many themes are connected to the main theme of the bible.  One has no doubt that humankind will have  NO hope for a future if it was not for Jehovah's promises of the restoration of his original purpose. To understand all these issues are important to exercise faith. The wicked world in contrast provides enough evidence that humans cannot rule themselves successfully at all.

Exactly! And if we feel our conscience is weak, or has made us react too strongly or strictly, we can improve our conscience through association with a collective group (congregation/brotherhood) of serious persons who continually train their conscience with Bible principles.

Just to introduce another item into this consideration. It seems that the number 12 or its multiples in the Bible always appears as literal, never symbolic.
Jacob's 12 sons (males) were exactly 12   The 12 tribes of Israel were actually 12, not 13   The Levitical priesthood was organized in a multiple of 12, namely 24 divisions (1Chr 24: 1-19)   The recruitment of assistants and officers who served David were organized in groups of 24,000 per month, from the 12 tribes, giving a total of 288,000 soldiers. All multiples of 12, and all exact numbers, real and non-symbolic.   Also, Jesus literally chooses 12 apostles, as we know. Literally.   The following is very interesting, in my opinion. When there were only 11 faithful apostles alive, just before Pentecost, they prayed intensely to Jehovah for guidance during those days (Acts 1:14), as a result of which, it was for divine guidance that they chose a twelfth apostle again, thus when Spiritual Israel began at Pentecost there were literally 12 foundations.   And, precisely at Pentecost, how many were gathered when the nucleus of the anointed ones who would go to heaven was formed? 120. Another multiple of 12 (Acts 1:15) It is true that in Revelation numbers like 3, 4, 6, 7, 10 are symbolic. But I have my reservations for 12 or 144,000 as symbolics.
Indeed, if 144,000 is symbolic, many things are fixed, as has already been said: the large number of Christians during the past 20 centuries who will easily have exceeded that number. The problem of replacement anointed ones, and I suppose others that now escape me.
The best answer I can give is: I'm not sure, I don't know.

Incorrect - I have spoken to people from these ' inspired churches' who make up a lot of things as they go along and say they are inspired by god's spirit.  Usually these inspired things are closer to spiritism than the Bible.  The Bible is our "inspired" source.
