Indeed they will be that spiritual JEW that 'ten men' will cling to. But when ?  

If we are anywhere near 'the time of the end' of this wicked world, then I would imagine, God through Christ, would allow a little time for 'lost sheep' to be found. The scriptures tell us that God wants no one to be destroyed, so it would be very helpful if the True Anointed were to be made known asap. 

Jesus did say that "the good news of the Kingdom" must be preached earthwide before the 'end comes'. But that 'good news' has to be truthful 'good news'. So, how will all this 'move forward' ? 

The spiritual JEW. The True Anointed.  Will they build a 'new religion' ? Not with physical buildings maybe, but with some form of organised teaching.  Jesus did teach his disciples to be organised even without an 'Organisation' as such. 

As someone else would say, 'I'm just thinking aloud here'.   Hence it's not well worded....

I don't pretend to have 'special knowledge' from God or Christ, so the days of Noah are not relevant to me in this false dating of the 'end time'.

I presume that by 2033 I will be dead and, if God through Christ should show me mercy I will get a resurrection much later. But if I'm still alive then, as one of the little dogs, I will be judged by Christ or by the angel he sends to judge me. But if i live for that time then I hopefully will find Truth from true Anointed ones. 

I would not expect the True Anointed remnant to broadcast any made up 'dates'. But i do expect it of 'men' that wish to promote themselves.

It would make no difference.

In the past it was ghosts, life after death, 'contacting dead relatives', ALL by the work of the DEVIL.  But people said it 'proved' that we had a spirit or soul that lived on after death. It proved nothing of course, apart from the fact that the Devil works in many crafty ways. 

Crop circles, space ships, aliens et al. The Devil will use anything to take people away from searching for God or from serving God through Christ. The Devil even ties in aliens with evolution just for the mixture of fun. 

Simple answer, have strong faith in God through Christ, not through men.

And as for Bro Rambo, if he were a true JW then surely he wouldn't be putting up a date (2034) as that is only his opinion and could be a stumbling block to others. Plus the fact that it would seem to go against the grain of following the GB to get 'food at the proper time'.

Um, was this just after I mentioned that Russell wasn't a JW ? And was it where TTH was comparing something Russell wrote to something from 1971 which came from the JW Org, and I said there was no comparison because Russell has nothing to do with the JW Organisation ?

I cannot understand why JWs cling to Russell, when Russell had no connection to the forming of the Jehovah's Witnesses organisation. Russell was an International Bible Student.

For instance, I've mentioned on other topics about Russell being an International Bible Student, Not a JW. Even though Russell started the Watchtower and the JW org took it over via Rutherford. So Russell was never in any way a JW. And the International Bible Students, which seem to be 'alive and well', are not JWs. I'm sure this has been covered many times but some JWs do like to pretend that Russell was the 'beginning of' the CCJW / JW Org. 

But why tom should want to re-visit this topic I've no idea. Is he just looking for more rocks to throw at me

Why would you need to prove it to anyone ?  It is between you, Almighty God and Jesus Christ. 

It is no business of the Elders or any other JW, unless you make it so. 

If you wish to remarry, that is also between you, God and Christ, and your new partner. But it should not involve anyone else.  The Elders should take your word that your conscience is clean on this matter.

This seems to confirm that the Devil has that authority. And that is why true Christians are, as you say, 'no part of this world'. Unfortunately the Watchtower / CCJW / JW Org ARE part of that wicked world and they prove it regularly. 

The Org are very materialistic and 'physical' in their thinking and actions. Large building complexes, the writing of many books, asking for donations, falsely predicting 'the time of the end', and deep involvement in Child Sexual Abuse, prove that they are indeed 'part of this world'. So who has authority over them ?

It is the one and only time that Almighty God will prove to Spirit beings as well as Human beings that God has the right to rule and God and Christ have the right to judge spirits as well as humans. 

I think that humans are not the main priority to God or Christ. The spirit beings, good and bad, are more powerful, and even the Anointed will become spirit beings, as you know. So, to think that it is all about us, is probably a little naive and a little selfish too.

We are actually experiencing the results of the world being controlled by the Devil. The only free will a person has is to chose to serve God or the Devil.  The main 'warfare' is between spirit persons, God and Christ v Satan and the demons. Humans play a small part in it of course, but God and Christ show mercy to whom they wish to show mercy.

After the WTB&TS confiscated all the Kingdom Halls in the World (for the "Greater Good"), I wonder if the congregations were justly and fairly compensated?

 

I was actually thinking on that when the article said 'it paid' the West Mifflin Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Then it said "the congregation received $503,840 for the property"

My thoughts were that the congregation probably 'received' nothing, but the Watchtower Soc' / GB received that money. Well it will help to pay for the 'new film studio' at Ramapo I suppose.

If 'heavenly Jerusalem' / the beloved City, is in heaven then how do they surround on this Earth ?

The Jewish religious leaders had the Hebrew scriptures but did not have the help of God's holy spirit to understand the things they were reading.

The men that became the 12 disciples would have known the Hebrew scriptures because they were Jews, but how much attention those men would have given to the reasoning on the scriptures is unknown. So it would seem that although those scriptures were 'available', they were not fully understood.

It is also very interesting that, even though 11 of the 12 remained loyal to Jesus, Jesus did not open up the scriptures to them during his ministry. So it must have been a deliberate action by Jesus to keep some things 'hidden' from the disciples.  John 16 : 12

It was only after Jesus was resurrected that He fully opened up the Hebrew scriptures to His disciples. And of course Judas was no longer one of them.

So at that point it would seem that all those disciples would have had their minds opened and could fully understand the Hebrew scriptures. 

Looking onward at Acts 1 : 8 "But you will receive power when the holy spirit comes upon you, and you will be witnesses of me in Jerusalem, in all Ju·deʹa and Sa·marʹi·a, and to the most distant part of the earth.”

Acts 2 "Now while the day of the Festival of Pentecost was in progress, they were all together at the same place. ²  Suddenly there was a noise from heaven, just like that of a rushing, stiff breeze, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. ³  And tongues as if of fire became visible to them and were distributed, and one came to rest on each one of them, ⁴  and they all became filled with holy spirit and started to speak in different languages, just as the spirit enabled them to speak."

An interesting point at Acts 2 : 32 & 33

³²  God resurrected this Jesus, and of this we are all witnesses. ³³  Therefore, because he was exalted to the right hand of God and received the promised holy spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you see and hear.  (NWT)

So is this saying that it is Jesus that 'pours out Holy Spirit' now, not God ? 

Now up to this point I've only mentioned the Hebrew scriptures, because that was all that they had. And also I've only covered the point that these were true Christian followers of Christ. We now move forward nearly 2,000 years.

We now have the Greek scriptures, which were written by some of those true followers of Christ, and written under inspiration of holy spirit. But we neither have those true Christian followers, nor do we have an opening up of the true meaning of those Greek scriptures.

As in the days of those Jewish religious leaders of the 1st century, who had the Hebrew scriptures but could not understand the full meaning and importance of them. We now have the full Hebrew and Greek scriptures available but do not understand the full meaning and importance of them. 

So as it was in 33 C. E. when Jesus opened up the Hebrew scriptures to His true followers, so it is necessary for Jesus to open up the full meaning of the scriptures now. But questions need answering. Were those Jewish religious leaders really trying to understand scripture or were they just misusing scripture for their own gain ? And again, is any religion today, trying to understand scripture or are all religions just misusing scripture for their own gain ?

Jesus drew people out from that Jewish religion and traditions of men. But that Jewish religion had been God's chosen way up until that time. 

Is there any religion now that may have been God's chosen way, and is Jesus going to draw people out from it ? 

Jesus fully opened up the scriptures to only a few chosen ones. Is Jesus once again going to open up the full scriptures to a few chosen ones ?

It obviously hasn't happened yet. All religions are groping around in the dark. In the first century Jesus seemed to leave it until the last 'minute' to open up those scriptures, so will Jesus once again leave it until the 'last minute' before giving full understanding to His true followers ? 

Hence I am, Patiently waiting for Truth. I think that is better than trying to rush ahead of God or Christ. 

Jesus has 'all authority' and HE will open up the scriptures at His chosen time.
