God goes for that method too as many scriptures attest.
You object to rules that decree participants should avoid bitter backbiting but should instead show reasonable respect for one another? Fine. Plainly, you belong here.

Actually, bad comparison. The elders don't make up rules, they are supposed to stick clearly to the tenets of the Bible, as interpreted by Jehovahs Witnesses. We on the other hand are not the elders, we are not the KH, we can make up any rules we like.

I see that tom is going for the divide and conquer method. Go at it tom.  Get them all in the closet.
It's no longer a baptised JW Closed club is it ? It's a who can we drag in now club. Proper JW tactics.
But i also notice that just like the elders rule the Kingdom halls, you have made up rules for the 'closed club'.
He must do this he must not do that, and with a threat of being d/fed if he doesn't  .
Well I've always said this forum is run by elders. It's proving itself each day.
However i will continue to post here even if i get ignored. It is good practice for me.
    Have a nice day.

Okay, so now we have Pudgy integrated into the closed forum and hopefully it will stick. Now let’s extend that invitation to @WalterPrescott, which is trickier. It’s trickier because he is so combative, to the point where I and others have wondered if he can possibly be a brother. But I’ve now come around to thinking he is, even if a contankerous one, so he should not be abandoned to where the spiritual rebels are. He should ‘come home.’
Of course, there must be some caveats. Some have noted that in private he is gracious, not argumentative as he is in public. He would have to be equally civil were he to join the closed club. He would have to ‘let Anna be Anna, Arauana be Arauana, JWI be JWI, xero be xero, thinking be thinking, and MOST of all, TTH be TTH. The latter does not have to be kissed up to, though that is of course preferred.
So Walter has this gig going that no one can quite figure out. He may prefer to stay here combatting the riffraff. Or he may figure that the ‘loyal’ Witnesses are also riffraff and wish to rebuke them for any wordage that does not appear word-for-word in Watchtower publications. If so, please do not accept the closed forum’s invitation. But you are our brother and so it is appropriate to make it, so as not to abandon you to where the miscreants hang out, unless you wish to remain there or somehow perceive it as your calling to fight with them.

    I'll examine this comment.
Quote "yes i am very negitive to wards the opposers of the true god Jehovah"
The true God is YHWH, the God of the bible. And God's son is Yeshua. I love both YHWH and Yeshua and i would never oppose either of them.
But your 'god' is your GB and the JW Org. And yes i oppose the GB that you serve and worship.
The Bible does not offer direction through your GB, and it is probable that those men may be removed from their positions.  Psalm 146 : 3 Berean Study Bible
"Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save."
As my title suggests I am Patiently waiting for Truth, Romans 8 : 25  Berean Study Bible
"But if we hope for what we do not yet see, we wait for it patiently."
Now as for you having truth ? Tell me is it this week's 'truth' you have, and next week it will be a different 'truth'. When you GB suddenly get their 'new light' then it will be a different 'truth' again. No, you do not have any truth, but you do have deceit.
Now back to the beginning of your comment.
Quote "we dont feel sorry for your twisted reasoning"  Tell me, who is twisted, the one that tries to reveal truth about the Child Sexual Abuse in the JW Org, or the one that tries to hide those Pedophiles in the JW org ?
Maybe you should think about all those children that have suffered earthwide at the hands of Elders, M/s, and others in your Org that you worship. And maybe you should think about all the adults that have suffered at the hands of Elders because those adults have wanted mercy and justice.

A somewhat childish way of proving that one side is right and the other wrong. Such a comment has no value in proving where the truth might be, but only accuses the other person of some kind of hostility towards JWs.
Mutual accusations and naming are unnecessary. If anything needs to be blamed, then it is patterns of behavior and belief in doctrines that we feel are bad.
Most people are victims of manipulators. Victims should not be blamed. A small number of those who are the bearers and main promoters of religious delusions should certainly be named, in general or individually.
Barbara Anderson has gone through one phase of her life, now she is in another. Maybe some of you know her better. I know her only through the texts she publishes.

True - they equate science with truth.... but they forget that IMPERFECT humans are making the assumptions these theories are based upon.  Most of them are theory upon theory but the conclusions are defective because the premise is inaccurate. Mathematics is also a language to express things which cannot be said in verbal language.  Does it mean that every equation is truth / reality?   NO.  Much of science is unproven and only theory.  Any scientist that tells you that they know it all, is a liar.   Where did the energy in our universe, and the energy within the matter come from? - is still not proven!
Jehovah is the source of all dynamic energy and his intelligence organized the matter and the natural laws we see in nature.

Most of the "scientific" methods" in evolution are the highly imaginative imaginations of illustrators and scientists.  The scientific methods is: to repeat an experiment to get the same results - this does NOT apply to the theory of evolution.  To do that you have to be able to go back in time.  When ones DOES go back in time and look at the EVIDENCE in the fossils -   one sees that the theory does not line up with the REALITIES in the fossil record and the Geological record.
Therefore the GB use science which has been through the true scientific method.
This is why I call evolution a quasi-science...... pseudo science, a cult or a religion... or something to that effect.
The universe came into being very long ago - and the earth was part of that.  Afterward, at the right time, the earth was prepared for humans to live on.   That is why ALL the days of creation is spoken of in the bible as one DAY.  It is not a 24 hour day.
Science teaches that all mass is energy.  How can we be sure? Well, burn a planet, a human, and animal or a house - it releases energy or heat.  For Jehovah to create the universe he organized his energy to create mass out of his energy.  There was nothing and then there was creation because energy was used.  Time and 3 dimensional space came into being in our physical universe which has mass.  Jehovah is timeless and has no mass. He himself says so! How is that for accuracy of science! Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom....

Yes. I can.......  the flood was a catastrophic event with the earth ripping open (under the sea) to expose the underground water and even lava coming up.  The sea pushed up and created tsunamis which rolled forward and later retracted.  If you look at the land mass of North America and the situation of the mass graves, you will find that most of the animals are in two very long graves (trenches) which are hundreds miles long.  This was when the water pushed whole ecosystems into gullies.   These animals are often twisted into positions which indicate a mass extinction event..... (scientists try to show it is a meteor).... but a meteor does not deposit large animals into a long gully hundreds of miles long -water does.
They found a kind of bark in much of the coal.  This was made by  trees floating on water, rolling against each other and loosing its bark.....the bark floats down to the bottom of the water where there is little oxygen and the heavy pressure of the water does its work. Coal forms in conditions with much pressure. Carrying a pail of water tells one how heavy water is. The flood was a year long... so floating things get water logged ad sink.
If animals were lying out in the open for thousands of years waiting for layers of ground to cover them - would the majority of them not be partially eaten by other carnivorous birds or carrion feeders who in the meantime proliferate?  On the other hand we see that birds no longer had a place to fly to and also succumbed to the prevailing conditions. (when evolutionists find one single bone with teeth marks on it, it becomes major news.  LOL ...  and the proven 'fact' of evolution once again receives its propaganda.
Most of the deposits of fossils have adult animals with very few babies with them.  This also indicates an event where animals were running to higher ground or a place of safety and were caught up with.  What about the mountainous deposits which have layers of earth with sea shells  in it.  (the layers of the grand canyon is a good example).  layer upon layer was quickly formed due to the weigh of the water.
The evidence is overwhelming for a catastrophic flood.  Evolutionists do not speak of the deposits that have contemporary animals with them...  I have read of a pit with contemporary animals and prehistoric animals together.....
There are many anomalies in the evolution theory that can easily be explained if one explains it as a catastrophic flood.

If the figures on the age of the universe and the events in it are not accurate, because some say that the figures on the age of events on Earth are not accurate, it would mean that science cannot reliably claim or assume anything.
This means that even WTJWorg cannot rely reliably on scientific methods, not only when it comes to astronomy and space but also medicine and other scientific disciplines, then it is really ironic that WTJWorg literature deals with topics covered by scientists and that they publishes together with the religious content of his journals, giving them this or that conclusion.
Scientists have telescopes, these on Earth and those that travel through space, and they say that they are watching this or that (star explosion, merging galaxies and everything else), and that what they see now actually happened many millions of years ago. If the figures on the age of the Earth are not accurate, as you claim, then neither these figures on the age of the universe are reliable or accurate, because they come from “science”.
If, on the other hand, it is true that scientists see the current, present event (star explosions and galaxy mergers, etc.) through a telescope, then I would be interested to know what these events represent? That God continues to create the universe ... or to destroy it,..... or that he has long ago started processes unknown to us in other parts of the universe in which there is nothing but raw mass and energy?

Barbara is truly a heroic individual to those of us who feel strongly about the abuses of Watchtower and seeing them brought to the light. Twenty years ago today, Barbara appeared on Dateline and launched the exposé uncovering the hidden documents the Watchtower was hiding regarding child sexual abuse. In doing so, Barbara sacrificed much – including the relationship with her only son. Below, is a never-before-published diary spanning the years from 2001-2022, when she aired her story on dateline. We want to thank Barbara for her legendary contributions in research and her continued focus on truth, justice, and taking a stand for what is right.

FROM JANUARY 5, 2001 LEADING UP TO DATELINE AIRING MAY 28, 2002
January 2001 Bill Bowen and I decided that we wanted news coverage about the Watchtower’s cover-up of child sexual abuse. We agreed that I would not go public right away.
1-5-01 Friday. Bowen began to tell his story first to a Paducah, KY, newspaper editor. The paper carried his accusations that JWs leaders were covering up child sexual abuse. He appeared on local TV twice and never mentioned my name. After this, former JW Richard Rawe in Washington State, contacted the Louisville, KY, Courier Journal explaining to their Religion Editor, Peter Smith, JWs problems with child sexual abuse pointing to Bowen’s story in Paducah, KY. Smith expressed interest in doing an article.
1-6-01 Saturday. Spoke to “Pinky” and Barbara Pandelos of NJ about their accusations that Watchtower covered up their child’s sexual abuse. They were interested in going public. (I’m losing my voice.)
The whole article should be found on the link added. I'm only half way through reaading it as it came to me in an email this morning.
    Enjoy !

Our elders are now very very kind ….I’m sure there may be still some of the old kind…..three strikes and your out….but the society is trying to weed them out or retrain them…..

Well it's nice to know you think about me when you are in your closet. i actually have spent a lot of today reading from the book of Matthew. The more times i read it the more I notice different things, but there is no point in starting new topics as none of you have spiritual thoughts to offer. Hence my new topics tend to be about physical things going on regarding the Org.
As for offering nothing possitive, what you actually mean is 'not offering anything that You agree with'.  However i never read anything spiritual from you. Maybe you keep it in the closet  like Micheal Jackson.

It is a good idea, but nothing must be employed to the nth degree. I know that Anna will waive that bit of legalese for someone honest enough to admit they are DFed and who agrees to conduct oneself as a DFed one, same as it would be in a physical congregation.
You do want to join up, so as not to miss gems like the following: (the actual comment is longer, with additional introductory material):
“Shortly after my chum entered Bethel in the mid-70s, he reported that whereas Bethel was once been a family where everyone knew each other, its growth made that no longer possible, and that it was becoming more “corporate” [his word, not mine] in nature. I think most would agree with that assessment.
“I see it all and I overlook it. First of all, I am not sure that it is wrong. It may be entirely the way to go, even if it rubs me the wrong way sometimes. Just how are you going to deal with a ‘family’ consisting of thousands? But the greater reason I overlook it is that nobody else is undertaking the experiment that they do.
“Nobody else has coupled the detailed points of religious truth with worldwide unity—keeping everyone on the same page. Nobody else is in that league. If someone decides the earthly organization must be corporate in some respects to do that, who am I to say they are wrong? There are no contrasting examples to point to.
“It is why I quickly become livid with those intensely critical yet offering nothing positive themselves. Patiently Sitting on my Hands even makes a virtue out of doing nothing. It infuriates me.
“In fact . . . I know I will not be thanked for this, but I will re-release William Shatner’s ‘Has Been’ as a bombshell directed at those who say the Governing Body is a ‘has been’ or even a ‘never was.’ They are doing things that nobody else attempts, and seeing considerable fruitage for their efforts.
“Trust me on this: You will never again think of ‘Has Been’ in the same way after I realign it to its new cause, and maybe you will never again see the Governing Body in the same way. No, they will not thank me. They don’t know just what congregation Bill Shatner attends and they’ll frown at the language. But when they call me on the carpet I will reply that I am just imitating Paul:
“To the Jews I became as a Jew in order to gain Jews; to those under law I became as under law . . . To those without law I became as without law . . . To the weak I became weak, in order to gain the weak. . . . to the course people I became course, so as to pull their bacon out of the fire.” (1 Corinthians 9:20)
“You’ve been warned. Here it is, dedicated to those critical of the Governing Body:”

if he was an intellectual we could respect, I would accept that reasoning....... so I do not.  But the excerpt sounds a bit more socialist communist to me, where individuality is lost in the collective.
Jehovah wants us to keep our individuality but learn to temper it around those who are not like us.  It is the loving thing to do.  Unfortunately, I also have a kind of break-out personality - like this weaponized virus!!   I contain myself (because I am a bit over the top in my enthusiasm for everything), and then the Jack-in-the-box jumps out!  I push it back in ... and then, when I am not vigilant - it pops up.

Ditto - even if you are a smelly vulture.... lol.
Seriously - you are adding to your own burdens /load.  No need to go as far as to punish yourself.
I knew a brother who did the same as you.  He was also a character due to the fact that he grew up in an orphanage and (who knows) what happened to him there. He was never adopted. He learnt to only rely on the self... they are always awkward and do not generally fit in.  They themselves always feel different.  Children come out of these institutions with some unsociable traits such as quirky or extremely dark humor and an individuality which does not fit in. He was accepted back in the truth before he died.
I do not always understand your humor But I have not experienced it to be nasty or deprecating.  Sometimes only of the self!     Why continually expose yourself to the truly nasty ones?  Not worth it.

I'd like you to explain that a little deeper.  The true congregation of God is the true Anointed. And if you think that your Closed Club is the 'house of God' then you are indeed insulting YHWH.
Quote "for those who have given their all in Jehovah’s service". I think you mean 'for those that have given their all in the GB / JW Org service, which does not serve YHWH in a pure way.

I do believe that to you, I once said something like, 'how can I not love you?'  I am not the one who hates his brother and sister in Christ.  But ask your GB whom they hate; those they have dictated must be disfellowshipped - thousands of their brothers and sisters who question their teachings.  It is hate to feel you must silence anyone who speaks against your falsehoods.  Why do they do this?  To protected their organization.  "Jehovah's organization" is said to be "spirit-directed" as if blessed by God.
Rev 13:11-15 - Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath (spirit-directed) to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
God does not tolerate false teachings, why do you?  Why do all JWs tolerate the false teachings of the GB Beast who  appears to be sent by Christ, but speaks "like a dragon", the liar?
