It is a difficult doctrine for me to accept, yes, however, I am not saying it can't be true. The organization is obviously convinced it is true. If one day there is sufficient evidence for them to stop being so dogmatic about it, they may change their opinion. They have done it before with other things. If that happens, then it won't change my opinion about Jws. It will remain the same as it is today because I do not hang my faith on the 1914 doctrine.

I remember when you used that argument when 7 GB were ruling.  Now, it's 8.  Oops!
This is all I'm saying about 1914 for the benefit of those with eyes that see and ears that hear.  (Isa 29:18)
Do birth pains follow a birth?  Your governing leaders seem to think so.
After God’s Messianic kingdom was born in the heavens at the close of the Gentile Times in 1914, Satan the Devil and his army of demon angels were cast down in defeat from heaven to the vicinity of this earth. Wt 76/12/15
What were those events from 1914 onward, according to what Jesus said in his prophecy? Why was the “end” “not yet” after those initial events?7 As in the case of nineteen centuries ago, the international war, the food shortages, the pestilences and earthquakes, were a “beginning of pangs of distress.” (Matt. 24:8)
Today's "Gentile times" have NOT ended.  “Gentiles” in the form of the elder body presently trample the anointed priesthood and Temple of God in the organization. Matt 24:15; Dan 11:31,32,36; 2 Thess 2:4; Rev 11:1-3; Eccl 10:5-7
     1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22

Jesus was established as king in the first century.  Ps 110:1,2; 1 Pet 3:22; Matt 28:18; 1 Cor 15:25,24; Eph 1:20-23

I obviously am, being included in your comments all the time. If you didn’t do that, my attention would probably wander elsewhere, but you keep dragging it back here.
You’re not really much of a people person, are you?

But we know by their teachings that they were not false prophets. Their teachings have remained down to this day.   We also know by the teachings of the WT's leaders that they ARE false prophets.
False prophets do not derive their prophesy through inspiration from God.  They derive this inspiration to deceive, from the evil one.
We have solid proof that your leaders are false teachers/false prophets, just as we have solid proof that Jesus and the apostles are genuine teachers of truth.
We recognize both groups by their "fruits", of which a massive amount of your leader's fruits have ended up in the trash, as @Srecko Sostar has brought to our attention.  (John 15:1-8; Matt 7:15-19)
Your leader's fruits have not remained, even for the brief time period the organization has been in existence.
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."  John 15:16

These inspired men, were sent by God.  None of them, were false prophets who deceived the "elect"/saints/anointed.
    Matt 24:24;Mark 13:22,20; Rev 13:1,2,11,12; 16:13-16
"I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us. Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church."
Diotrephes was instigating disfellowshipping.  Who does this today?  Who calls anyone who refuses their false doctrine, "despicable apostates"?  Who, before Christ arrives, has decided they are "faithful and discreet"?  The GB are the preeminent ones, lording it over all of Christ's brothers.  Was John going to let Diotrephes get away with it?
Open your eyes, Anna.  You once said that although 1914 was a difficult doctrine for you to accept, you wouldn't make waves in the congregation concerning it.  If your heart knew it was false, why wouldn't you stand for truth?  It is a core lying doctrine of the organization.
"Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.
Demetrius has a good testimony from all, and from the truth itself. And we also bear witness, and you know that our testimony is true."
    3 John 9-12
God does not expect us to settle for lies.

Jesus commanded us to not go after anyone who claims the end is here, aka “the time is at hand”.
“And he said, “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.” Luke 21:8
According to Jesus, we are commanded to not listen to the governing body, we are commanded to not listen to JW’s, and we are commanded to not listen to anyone else who’s proclaiming the one message Jesus said to not proclaim, “the time is at hand”. If we do listen to these men, it proves we are being disobedient to Jesus. Is it really something so simple as a wrong prediction, or, is it rather a blatant disregard for Jesus’ command?

It’s hard to wait in anticipation of things to come and then things come anyway. How much harder it is to wait for things that never came, until today.

In all the years as a JW (over 35) I have yet to find something intrinsically bad written in any of our publications. Mistakes yes, but nothing that would make you sin against God. The way Witness and others go on makes it sound like the organization is a harlot. By being unreasonable, these oposers lose credit. She mentions wrong expectations as something horribly sinful, and calls it false prophesying. And yet all the ones that have been hurt by it are those who have put more faith in men than in God. Yes, it is difficult sometimes to go against the grain. I have heard stories about how those who weren't buying into 1975 were looked down on and told they have little faith. (they must have felt pretty vindicated when nothing happened in 75). But what really was the problem? It was something good to look forward to and although some were skeptical I am sure they wouldn't have been upset if they were wrong and paradise had really come in 75. JWs have not stopped looking forward to it (the new world). That is part of being a Christian, looking forward to the paradise. Today many are anticipating something might happen very soon. Some are speculating covid-19 might be the beginning of the GT. We can only hope. But if nothing happens even up to the day we die, what has been lost? Jehovah promises thst his loyal servants will not be forgotten. And who is trying to encourage all to live by Bible standards, keep Jehovah on their mind with everything they do in life and preach the Good News, so that they are not forgotten?  The very organization that Witnesss hates, and says is so evil. @Witness all your criticism is about the imperfections of man. You might as well criticize all those who failed in Bible times as well. Criticize Moses for his presumtiousness, criticize Aaron for his weakness and excuses, criticize Job for his wrong thoughts, criticize David for his lack of control, criticize Jonah for his disobedience, criticize all of Jesus' disciples.
You are like a modern day Diotrephese.

I'm sure you are aware of this, but there have been multiple times when you have said things like what you just said here. It can indicate that you do not believe we have currently reached the time of the harvest. Scripturally, of course, this is a strong possibility. But you probably know that the Watchtower teaches that we have been in the harvest since 1914:
*** w2020 May p. 9 Rival Kings in the Time of the End ***
    1914 ONWARD
Harvest season; weeds separated from wheat
It is also possible to find a scriptural precedent for the idea that the harvest can cover a period of time, and does not just refer to the time when the wheat and weeds are finally separated.
(Matthew 9:37, 38) . . .Then he said to his disciples: “Yes, the harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore, beg the Master of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.”
I hoped you would clarify your own view.

Don't you realize that the words of the prophets are relative to the last days as well?
but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.  Rev 10:7

You know, I never noticed that. Though I suppose he would account for it by saying he would never utter the Name before such swine.
This is too much, CC crying over the fate of Allen, just as 4Jah cries over the fate of JB. In either case, it is like the women weeping over Tammuz.  Everyone else was glad to see both of them go, for they both conducted themselves outrageously.
Too bad they were both replaced by another who knows and repeats all their lines syllable by syllable.

I don't think so. Not in English speaking countries. But I do think CC aka Allen's first language is not English. And then there are all kinds in a congregation, and some are brothers in name only.
What I find strange is that CC aka Allen never calls God by his name...

In fact never. I suppose everyone is a "witness" to something. Perhaps some would like to be, but they (like a few I've studied with) could never get their behavior enough in control to make it to baptism. In point of fact it seems it was a kindness of sorts to not allow them to get baptized as they would have soon run afoul and ended up in a judicial situation. Which is sortof odd in a way. You DO want people to get baptized, but this is a symbol, and is ostensibly representing a person who has rejected his former way of life and accepted the office, authority and disciplining of Jehovah, his Son and the holy spirit in its operation.  (Of course I know I'm no paragon of virtue in the aforementioned either).
Of course this is neither here nor there as it goes. There are times when it doesn't matter who a person represents him or herself as - you see what they say and what they do and you respond accordingly. (Or as in a cool feature of the site - you make them disappear)

Come come, I don’t buy it. This is the bluster and abuse of Alan.
Never have I heard a brother refer to God as “the man upstairs” though the expression is common elsewhere. Seldom if ever have I seen a “brother” so abusive, so ready to jettison everything Christ advised whether addressing friend or foe. Even foes he tried to reach, spinning the older son of the Prodigal parable as the one who had been faithful, for example.
Let’s bring in a few, and hope they don’t mind. Have any of you @JW Insider, @Anna, @The Librarian, @Thinking, @xero,@Outta Here@Arauna(who used be approved by CC, then she “corrected” him, making herself a Jezebel.) Anyone, even the villains, feel free to chime in. Has anyone ever heard a brother call Jehovah “the man upstairs?”
Can he really be a Witness, as he would have everyone believe?

Patiently waiting for Truth reacted to TrueTomHarley in IICSA: survivors speak of influence of religion
While the expression “the man upstairs” is very common, I have never heard one of Jehovah’s Witnesses use it, I think because they would assess it as overly familiar and disrespectful of God.
So is CC a Witness or not? Alas, I fear I will never figure it out.
One man in a million of Jehovah’s Witnesses might use the phrase. That means there could be as many as eight CCs out there.

And you don't think children should have fun and play games ?  You don't think children should be allowed to live a 'childhood' ?  Of course not, because your Leaders tell you that children must be kept away from the real world.  You don't want children to build up their own spiritual immune system....
You want children to be dictated to by parents, that are dictated to by Elders, that are dictated to by , , , the GB / Leaders of the W/t / JW Org.
You seem to want this idea that JW parents make their children sit down and copy, 50 copies of a dictated letter. Then those JW parents can happily fill in those lovely little 'ministry forms' for all their children, reporting all the hours their little ones have 'happily' spent doing the GB's will. And you call this serving God.
And that is all apart from the legality, even from the Org's viewpoint, of posting letters through people's doors, during a serious virus problem.  I do know for sure that the instructions from the Leaders of the Org, is NOT to put things through people's doors, but to post letters through the postal system.  I don't think the article makes it clear as to how the letters were received.

Residents in Leith who received handwritten letters through their door from Jehovah’s Witnesses members as young as ten-years-old have branded the move ‘sick’.
It has emerged that residents in Leith and other areas of the city have been targeted by the group – notorious for door-stepping – by letters written in multiple languages.
The man, who had also received a leaflet from the group, who claim to be the ‘one true faith’, said in his comments the move was “sick”. He added: “This is indoctrination of a 10-year-old child. The Jehovah’s Witnesses are a dangerous cult.”
full article available on link above.
Well I suppose the children have to get their hours in or they will counted as 'inactive' publishers. The Org needs to keep it's number up somehow.

BUT if the letters are hand written and then put through doors, they could pass on the Virus, so this might be illegal,

ESTABLISHING DUTY IN CHILD SEX ABUSE CASES AGAINST THE JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES -
In 2019, 13 states and the District of Columbia amended civil statutes to enlarge statutes of limitations for child sex abuse claims. Eight of these jurisdictions enacted revival statutes allowing previously time-barred child sex abuse claims to proceed: New York, the District of Columbia, Montana, New Jersey, Arizona, Vermont, Rhode Island, and North Carolina.
Since implementation of these statutes, survivors of child sex abuse have filed complaints against many different institutions—not just against individual perpetrators of abuse—including, the Roman Catholic Church, various independent schools, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Jehovah’s Witnesses parent-organization, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc. (“Watchtower”). Institutions may be directly liable for sex abuse committed by their agents through negligencebased claims, such as, negligent supervision, hiring/ retention, and failure to warn. In Jehovah’s Witnesses cases, perpetrators of sex abuse commonly hold the position of church “elder” or “ministerial servant.” In those cases, attorneys for the Jehovah’s Witnesses typically argue that elders and ministerial servants are unpaid volunteers, not employees or agents of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, and, thus, the organization has no duty to protect one congregant from abuse by another congregant, especially if the abuse occurred off congregation premises. Below are some examples of evidence that Plaintiffs’ attorneys have successfully marshaled to counter this argument. First, the Jehovah’s Witnesses organizational structure shows that elders and ministerial servants are indeed agents of the Church. In J.W. v. Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc., California’s appeals court provides a generally accurate description of the Jehovah’s Witnesses hierarchy. The relevant upshot is that, “[e]lders are the highest authority at the congregational level,” and, thus, are the Jehovah’s Witnesses equivalent of Roman Catholic priests.5 In order to be appointed an elder, a person must first be a Minsterial Servant in good standing. Top-down, the Jehovah’s Witnesses, or, “Watchtower,” as the parent-organization is known, is controlled by the Governing Body of eight elders, essentially the board of directors for Watchtower.  Below the Governing Body are circuits generally comprised of 20 to 22 congregations.  Below the circuit-level are local congregations, each managed by a body of elders, who select candidates for becoming elders and ministerial servants. Watchtower’s own documents and policies elucidate the institution’s agency relationship with its elders and ministerial servants, and reveal the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ own perception that a duty arises from those relationships. For example, in another California child sex abuse case, Watchtower produced a July 20, 1998 letter in which the organization admonishes All Bodies of Elders against appointing child sex abusers as elders or ministerial servants because, “this could result in costly lawsuits. . . . [C]ourt officials and lawyers will hold responsible any organization that knowingly appoints former child abusers to positions of trust, if one of these, thereafter, commits a further act of child abuse.” The letter concedes, “[t]hose who are appointed to privileges of services, such as elders and ministerial servants, are put in a position of trust. . . .this includes being more liberal in leaving children in their care and oversight.” As for any attempt to mitigate the role of ministerial servants as compared to elders, the Watchtower policy manual, “Organized to do Jehovah’s Will,” instructs that ministerial servants are authorized to perform tasks otherwise reserved for elders, when an elder is unavailable, such as: (1) conduct Congregation Book Study; (2) handle Service Meetings; (3) handle parts of the Theocratic Ministry School; and (4) deliver public talks in the local congregation. Based on the above, courts have been persuaded that Jehovah’s Witnesses congregations are liable for “violat[ing] [a] duty,” when a clergy sex abuse victim’s parents were “congregants, who in deciding to permit [the perpetrator] into their home reasonably relied on his status as an appointed ministerial servant as well as on his good standing and reputation within the congregation. . . .”13 In addition to the above, the California Court of Appeal rejected the notion that a plaintiff failed to sufficiently allege proximate cause when the sexual abuse had occurred off congregation premises, mainly relying on a respondeat superior discussion in Comment C to the Restatement (3d) of Agency § 7.05: “causation may not be present when the harm occurs outside the work environment. It does not reflect that causation cannot be found when the harm occurs outside the work environment.” Understanding the structure, history, and policies of the Jehovah’s Witnesses is important for proving the parentinstitution’s liability in a child sex abuse case; but this is just a start.

Some of you know about 'things of this world' whereas i don't.  Does this ring any alarm bells for you ?
A second Nuremberg Tribunal has been prepared since last week and a class action is being set up... A class action, or representative action, is a lawsuit in which a large group of people collectively bring a claim to court, or in which a certain class of defendants is sued
Reiner Fuellmich  is getting that support from the thousands of lawyers worldwide to bring the Covid19 scandal set up in Davos to the tribunal.
Covid-19 becomes fraud case of the century
So now he faces his next job. The job of a lifetime, supported by thousands of lawyers and experts worldwide.
According to Reiner Fuellmich, all the frauds committed by German companies are nothing compared to the damage this Covid-19 scam has caused and continues to cause.
This Covid-19 crisis should be renamed the “Covid-19 scandal” and all those responsible should be prosecuted for civil damages resulting from manipulation and falsified testing protocols.
Therefore, an international network of corporate lawyers will litigate the biggest tort case of all time namely The Covid-19 fraud scandal which has since become the biggest crime against humanity ever.
On the initiative of a group of German lawyers, a Covid-19 commission of inquiry was set up with the aim of bringing collective action on an international level on the basis of Anglo-Saxon law.
The committee’s conclusion is that Covid-19 is being used as a diversionary tactic by business and political “elites” with the goal of shifting market shares and wealth from small and medium-sized businesses to global platforms such as Amazon, Google, Uber, and other big tech and multinational corporations.
Platforms such as Amazon, Google, Uber, and other bigtech have thus appropriated their market shares and their wealth
    --------------------------------------
Moreover, an interview with a whistleblower from a Berlin retirement home reveals that of the 31 people vaccinated there, some by force and actual violence in the presence of Bundeswehr soldiers, while their (useless) “test” was negative prior to vaccination. Eight people have now died and 11 have serious side effects.
It certainly proves that humans cannot put their trust in other humans, whichever side of the coin is right, the other is then lying.
So, is it a sign of the times or just a continuous sinking in the myre.............. ?
