"Next move will be to hold Walmart responsible for abuse that has occurred among their shoppers"- True Tom
Yes, I would say that is the crux of the matter.

    This might help:
“Out of nowhere a scholar has appeared who talks dispassionate sense on the subject of child sexual abuse as it relates to Jehovah’s Witnesses and is unswayed by secular jingoism. Are/were you a Jehovah’s Witness who was abused as a child? That is very bad, Holly Folk agrees, but she cautions such ones that they must be on guard not to be abused a second time. It may happen at the hands of those who mostly feign interest in their trauma so as to enlist them in their greater goal of taking down a religion they hate. “All I ask is that you consider, for a moment, that you might be being used again, by people who care little about achieving justice for victims,” she says.”

You know I've been studying this phenomenon for a long time. I decided to look at other non-trinitarian groups as well just to see what they had to say and how these were doing w/scandals. I've looked at non-denominational non-trinitarian groups as well. I've looked at some who say they believe in the trinity, but everything they say about Jesus and Jehovah indicate they are henotheists and not trinitarians at all. I haven't found a group yet which hasn't been touched by one scandal or another.
I would say this doesn't surprise me. It also doesn't surprise me that a lot of CYA goes on in organizations. I find it quite disappointing. So that's why when I'm asked to pretend that our organization is the purest of them all. I can't. I don't know. How am I supposed to know?. I'm sure that the people I see in the congregations have the best of intentions and yes there have been exceptions, but all the failings I see are human failings. Even the way certain things are handled. I mean what are you to do when you're not a professional in these areas and you are honest with yourself.
I suppose I would have (and still do) belay any instruction that I can't internally agree with.
But we're back again. I've been going through prophesies which emphasizes specific events as being interpreted specific ways and unless you insist on a few key points, you find that it all gets rather ambiguous.
Take the little horn in Daniel. If you look at it w/o the lens you currently have you might conclude other things.

(In this one it's Donald Trump)
So I suppose I may be treading water (I wish I could walk on water) But rather than spending my time in defense of a narrow set of ideas, I focus on the practicality of living as a Christian. Not particularly thrilling to some, but necessary.
I'm still asking/searching and knocking but my focus is trying to wrap my mind around what I can and can't know from scriptures.  When I read the eisegesis done w/Rev. 11 I have to roll my eyes a bit now.  (But I could be very wrong too, maybe it's right, but it seems forced) I keep this to myself because it invariably leads to a call on the mat and a flag salute. (Sorry Scooter...I follow Jehovah, his Son and the Bible) Also, these questions are MY problem. Not someone elses . I don't need to drag anyone along w/me and my private investigations.

I wonder if it's more anti-America than anti Christianity.
The Watchtower / JW Org is seen as being an 'American' religion.

I think the general climate (I’m talking about the period between 1970 and 2015) was for the JW family to participate together in all theocratic activities, with young children from an early age to “adapt” to the assembly. It also means participating in the field ministry.
I remember a situation of a married couple who loved pioneering service (general, 90 hours) who traveled many kilometres in a car with a small child (from when she was a baby onward). That little girl was about 4 or five years ( in the middle to the end of 1980) old when a provincial overseer (CO) said to that brother (an informal meeting was at a some brother's house in Rijeka), "And why are you dragging that little kid around with you?" This greatly upset that married couple and these two brothers were often in verbal confrontations on many issues.
So perspectives are different on many things. One thing is said and expected from the podium, another is done in real time and on the "field". :))

Well one big problem is that 'boots on the ground' JWs can do nothing to solve the problems in the JW Org.
    A. The problems start from the very top of the Org, and they are not interested in listening to 'ordinary congregants'.
I've written to London Bethel. They basically told me to mind my own business and talk to the local Elders if I have problems.
    B. It is basically 'forbidden' to express one's concerns within the congregation, as it will be treated as 'Causing a division within the congregation', which is a disfellowshipping offence.
I was able to discuss a few things privately with a few brothers individually, but not as a group.
I did exactly that. I had complete control over whether I be in or out of an immoral Organisaton that was/is controlled by dishonest leaders.  And I used my 'energies' to tell people why I was leaving, and then to leave.
Of course I could have remained in the Org, and 'turned away' / 'walked on the other side of the road', ignored the victims, and of course kept silent. But my Christian trained conscience would not have been happy.

An Arctic air mass has settled over the southern US bringing some states to a standstill

Ice storms, heavy snow and freezing rain knocked out power, closed roads and saw 1,000 cancelled flights in southern Texas.
Bad winter weather is extremely rare as far south as the Gulf Coast. President Joe Biden has declared a federal emergency.
I read that there was a massive vehicle accident / wreck too.
If you are in that area, try to stay safe. Seems to be one problem on top of another.

Patiently waiting for Truth got a reaction from Srecko Sostar in Guinea declares Ebola epidemic as it reports at least three deaths
    https://news.sky.com/story/guinea-declares-ebola-epidemic-as-it-reports-at-least-three-deaths-12218508
At least three people in Guinea have died from Ebola and an additional four people have been confirmed to be infected, according to the country's health authorities.
The cases announced by the health ministry on Sunday are the first since the deadly Ebola epidemic ravaged the country, alongside Liberia and Sierra Leone, five years ago.
The latest seven positive cases had attended the funeral of a nurse in Goueke on 1 February before later showing Ebola symptoms including a fever, diarrhoea, and vomiting.
The Guinean government has declared an Ebola epidemic as a result and started contact tracing and isolating suspected cases.
"I confirm it's Ebola. The results prove it," health minister Remy Lamah told the Associated Press news agency.
The patients were tested after showing symptoms of hemorrhagic fever. Those who came in contact with them are already in isolation, officials said.
Is it part of 'the sign of the times' or is it just the Devil's world going from bad to worse. Whatever it is, it's a horrible situation.

Why did he not notice it himself, so that “eventually” you had to do it? Did you not say he, too, was good?
    Did he? How?
Look, if you come on with bitter tirades, and Lord knows you do, you should offer a few specifics.
If this is the case, then why is there a problem?
For whatever it’s worth, when I served as an elder, I would not work with other elders when there were other unattended publishers around. I do know that situation of some who “team up” and I don’t particularly like it. Still, I don’t take a flamethrower to the Christian organization because of it. It is a very challenging situation should sisters show up with small children that they hope others will help with. Practically speaking, it is a great challenge to integrate them—separate some kids and you’ve got 4Jah breathing down your neck—and beyond complaining, you did not offer a better way.
Okay okay, maybe I could reword that.
Of which YOU have appointed yourself spokesperson, constantly bringing up the subject (and little else). It is one of those “let the reader use discernment” situations.

How did Jesus allow himself to be "wronged"?  I'm not sure I understand what you are meaning.
When it comes to false teachings, did Jesus and the apostles turn the other cheek?  Didn't the apostles make it known who they were? Didn't Jesus make it known that he is the Son of God?  On the other hand, how often do you hear the words, "faithful and discreet slave", or "faithful slave" and KNOW who these titles refer to?  Did Jesus already tell them they are "faithful and discreet"? (Matt 25:21)   Or, do they just assume through their arrogance that they ARE indeed, faithful?   Being humble before God and Christ, doesn't mean caving in to the rules and regulations of men, who say be humble, before THEM!
"For am I now trying to persuade people, or God? Or am I striving to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ."  Gal 1:10
Anointed can use the very avenue that the organization uses to "teach" - the internet.  Is there a rule set by Christ that says they cannot go online and preach about Him, and the authentic "good news" of the restoration of Jacob?  (Isa 43:1; Joel chapter 3; Mal 1:6; 3:1-4,12; 2:4; Isa 61:9; Luke 1:16,17; Matt 17:11; Rev 11:1-6; Zech 4:11-14; Rev 5:9,10; Gen 22:18)

Oh my goodness.   Perhaps if you had been there, you might have noticed the prejudice - I say, might.
#1 The sisters decided to arrange themselves, reaching out to others (sisters)  to help them…before showing up for the service meeting.
#2 – As a good elder’s wife, I eventually told my husband who was the service overseer, that it was a repetitive problem during the week. From what I remember, he said he would address it.
    Does that answer your question?
Can you please tell me where I have stated that I, personally, was cheated out of my anointed status?   You should be concerned about the cheating of all the anointed out of their status as God's priests in the organization.  I am so glad I am not part of the organization, and no I would never go back to make sure I wasn't "cheated" out of my anointed status.
You have chosen to remain in the dark about "Israel".
Someone here said the anointed are not to rule until the Kingdom arrives.  I'm just attaching my comment here.
1 Pet 2:5,9 - As you come to him, a living stone—rejected by people but chosen and honored by God— 5 you yourselves, as living stones, a spiritual house, are being built to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
This is written in the present tense.  The apostles set the standard for God's priests to follow while on earth.   But since the Wt has developed, Jesus must call God's priests OUT OF DARKNESS, now.  (Rev 3:18; 2:14,15,20,21;18:4-8)  If they remain faithful to Jesus, they will "proclaim praises" about God and Christ.  Those who have left, fully understand the darkness that you choose to live under.  There is no possibility of God's priests to act upon the posted scriptures while under the rulership of a wicked slave.

Someone really anointed or really Invited  would not promote or make it known on line ...it’s as simple as that..a really humble one ..would allow them selves  be wronged..as Jesus did and as the apostles did..
PRIDE makes them have the need to be known.....

Yes. This is why I am nothing but hugs and kisses for Alan, Witness, and even that insufferable 4Jah.
Exactly. This is why you do not pay undo attention to the individuals. They are as actors in a play. Take one out and another who knows all the lines immediately steps into his place.
This is true even with the good guys, though they are more pleasant to dwell upon and might be dwelt upon for just that reason. It is the play we are watching. One need not know the names of the actors to follow the play. It can even be a distraction if we do

I think a lot of JW's are losing their minds right now. Expectation is making the heart sick. I get it.
I look at Christendom and see that their scripturally incorrect views give them an advantage of sorts insofar as these believe, in the main that death leads immediately to a resurrection. This is a lie, of course, but if you believe the lie, you then aren't really waiting for anything. Armageddon and the ultimate righting of wrong becomes a nebulous idea so far off so as to cause them to take no notice. They just get of with living.
W/JWs...The frustration I see comes from all the not knowing. Many believed at one time or another that they really knew. I was worried when I started pioneering that I wouldn't be able to get enough hours under my belt before the end came. Clearly I was wrong. Then I thought about it all and researched all the groups who really believed the end was close at hand. There have been many. It's hard to be in a state of readiness if you really believe that some super important thing is going to happen this takes a toll on both your body and your mind. You can get into a sort of PTSD. People have differing reactions too to information given. No one listens to a talk or reads a publication without creating a narrative or movie, filling in the gaps with themselves. The anxiety can build up in people and then like a human immune system it may select a target to attack. Many are focused on the GB or anointed or these kinds of things. I get it. These things are not the real reasons. The real reasons come from all the not knowing while being in a state of stress.
This is where you have to go back. Pump the brakes and pray. Jehovah is in charge. Jehovah created this universe (through his Son) and his son said "take courage, I have conquered the world". Read carefully the book of Job. Keep studying. Don't stop living. Don't go towards hating on the world, hating on apostates, hating on the GB, hating on anything. Understand that the real enemy is in the spirit realm. Understand that you yourself can be your own enemy with your own thinking and obsessions. Meditate on what it means to wait, what is it doing to you.
I jumped out of a plane by myself once with only a morning's worth of training. It felt like suicide. During the training (over a high jump pit) we were told how to spot and deal w/a parachute malfunction - how to discard the tangled chute and deploy your reserve. The bikers running the jump site freaked out the guy in front of me and he didn't jump. They joked "You'd be lucky to get a malfunction - you get two rides for the price of one!" But they also told us once we got a chute to be sure we got lined up properly for a landing and relax and look up (don't look down) when you're one your way to a landing, otherwise the landing would be too hard as you'd stiff up and maybe break a leg. (we used old Vietnam era chutes, not the fancy kinds). So to me the illustration is to be sure you have yourself lined up right, and when you do relax and look up (not at your bro/sis/GB/world) and you'll stick the landing.
If you're feeling anxiety, you're in good company. Just make sure while you feel trapped you don't chew off your own leg or the legs of those around you. The trap isn't your bros/sis's/elders/gb... it's this world under Satan's influence. You fight the trap by following as closely as you can the patterns set  which lead to faith. Just be sure that when you see another human that you imitate faith based on the promises in the bible.
Eat right, get regular exercise, find something to do which you enjoy and do what you can and learn to ignore the ones who imagine they know you and what you can do better. (I'm still working on all of this too)

Is there any clear and "theocratic" foundation about number of FDS or number of GB or number of Helpers? Just for the sake of discussion. :))
12 apostles need "replacement" for 1 they lost. I mean, they can worked with 11 just fine, didn't they? What is the minimum number of GB members to be Legitimate, according to the Company Charter, according to the Companies Act (secular law), to the Bible, to Jesus, etc.?
And yes, @4Jah2me remarked excellently on the details of who should choose the "leadership." Supposedly, Jesus chose GB in 1919. So "we" would expect how Jesus have to pick the person for task of "feeding", not GB members. They (GB) can make choice about elders in conversation with CO. :))

Show us proof of this please.  Witness is concerned for the welfare of the Anointed ones. You, it seems, are not.
You seem to be such a 'physical man' that you seem to lack any feeling for the Anointed as spiritual ones.
They physically gather together because the GB are mostly Americans and all in America.
The difference being that they will be replaced by ones of God's choosing through Christ.  You still keep looking at men choosing men. Still so physical. Wake up, think in a spiritual way. God and Christ are not physical....
Um, let me think now. Who is ruling now ? Oh yes, the GB, who say they are Anointed. Those 8 men that say they are the ONLY Faithful and Discreet Slave. Those 8 men that say that 'God and Christ trusts them, so the whole JW congregation should trust them'.   Yes that's who's ruling now.
