Ludicrous examples. But these immature “Christians” expect it to be just that way with respect to spiritual things—that Santa should deliver all the presents under the tree on Christmas Eve, and he had better not drag his rear end and be tardy with anything. The idea of research is abhorant to them—everything ought be handed them on a platter.
These yo-yos deserve each other.

And it took Jehovah over 100 years to relay this truth to them...sheesh!

We are sitting during the first lock-down which may last at least till march next year but there is talk that it will last until all are vaccinated. By that time the world economy will be restarted in a new format to suit UN agenda 2030. 
Millions will die of hunger, suicide, job losses all over the world.  A controlling form of scientific (technocratic) UN government will later take over and lead us to the wonderful situation where they can call peace and security.
The next milestones for agenda 21 and 2030 is a new money system by 2022;  2025, and 2030 dates they have set for certain goals/ milestones.  By 2050 they want the 4th industrial revolution to be complete.  Hopefully Jehovah will intervene before then. 
Jehovah is allowing them to go the whole way with their new god of science and what I think is the 'god of fortresses' - a world database (including DNA) of all people which will secure every person within the grasp of the authorities.  Anyone who does not do as told will find themselves outside the system and will struggle to survive. 
The plans they have is anti-human .... so I really hope it happens before the 2030 milestone (by which time I will be close to 80 and my chances are not great of being around.)  I feel for the youth living now  (70 CE) and know that Jehovah will resurrect all those who die from hunger and suffering before His Great Day - that is my comfort.
I suspect that this lock-down will be like the first lock-down in Jerusalem. Once they open up it may be 3 and half years before they lock us down for the next phase of agenda 21 - the 2030 plans.   By this time many will  have died and the vaccinations (which will be administered regularly according to new indications) may have unprecedented side effects. 
The final lock-down will see them in total control and they will destroy all religion -  If I am around I will walk in the streets like Jonah and be glad to shout that the time for their destruction is here.  May Jehovah grant me the power and courage to do so.......

No doubt in Jesus’ day, the nations far and wide committed heinous atrocities.  But Jesus appeared to his people under covenant with God.  He didn’t concern himself with people of the nations, since God judges each person in righteousness, according to the circumstances they live in; according to their heart.
God’s focus has always been with His people, Israel, and those in direct contact with them who may have joined them, or whom Israel was influenced by.  So, Jesus’ reason for appearing, was as a “messenger”/”prophet”/Son of God/fulfilled promise of the firstborn of Abraham’s seed – Son of man.  He came to the “lost sheep of Israel”.  Matt 15:24  Later, the good news was opened to the Gentiles and “Israel” came to include people from all nations.  (Rom 9:6-8)
God has a people under covenant today – spiritual “Israel” – His anointed priesthood and "living stones" of the Temple of God.  (1 Pet 2:5,9; 1 Cor 3:16,17; Eph 2:20-22)  The remaining "stones" today, reside under the rule of modern-day Pharisees.  They are the first on the list to receive God’s attention, and along with them, those in their companionship.  While you look elsewhere, and condemn the nations not under covenant with God, you fail to see the heinous crimes committed by the organization, where “Israel” is found. You fail to take these sins seriously.   God’s holy people under covenant are His royal priesthood. 1 Pet 2:5,9  They have transgressed His covenant by tolerating the Temple – themselves - to be “trampled” by a corrupt duel power over them – the GB and the “Gentile” elder body. (Matt 24:15; Mark 13:14; 2 Thess 2:3,4; Rev 11:1,2)
JWs take it for granted that God will be soft on His people who may have committed the same crime found among nations in the world.  God is never “soft” when it comes to ignoring His decrees, which includes the “laws” of His Temple.   (Ezek 43:11)  He expects His priesthood to live by them, not to make other decrees as the Pharisees were known for; and now what the GB are known for.  (Mark 7:7)
God will judge all people of all nations on the earth, in a righteous manner.  But, should that be your concern, or shouldn’t your concern be what is happening where you “live” – where “Israel” resides?  Since you cannot see it, or care to absorb the seriousness of it…since JWs have glazed their eyes over and tolerate the many sins among them…

Who do you think Rev 18:4 is addressing?  It is God’s people under covenant – “Israel”/”kings of the earth” who have been downtrodden by the Beast/organization that has deceived them.  Rev 16:13,14 (Rev 1:5; 17:18)
I’m sorry for your blindness, and your warped sense of morality as you uphold a rulership that has attempted to hide its sins for years. I am sorry for all JWs who believe they have found salvation in an idol, a people who have this arrogance that they are approved by God to receive salvation, in spite of the sins committed among them.  Those sins are being revealed,as well as the "man of lawlessness"/elder body/false priesthood is revealed in the last days.  How is this done?  By the "breath"/spirit of Christ within his "two witnesses" sent to preach to the Temple "living stones". (2 Thess 2:8; Rev 11:1-3)
As Jesus said, the last of God’s repentant priests would be preaching to “Israel”, before his return. That remnant is the anointed who have left confusion (“Babylon”) and preach in “sackcloth”, because God’s Temple has been “given to the Gentiles” – the elder body, who “represent the royal priesthood”. (Rev 11:1-3) The remnant who are preaching now, were “killed” by this false priesthood for their testimony to Christ.  Rev 13:15; 11:7; 12:17  They were not persecuted for belonging to an idol – “Jehovah’s organization”, as you may believe is happening in Russia;  but persecuted by their own people, as Jesus Christ was.
“Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 22 You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.  Matt 10:21-23

For those wonderful and compassionate friends (active JW's) of JTR that was charged for felony child porn, his court date has been set for arraignment on December 3, 2020. For those of you that have never understood secular law, this is where JTR will plea “guilty” or “not guilty” to the 4 counts he has been charged with.
If he pleads guilty, he will have a final hearing with the court's recommendation.
If he pleads not guilty, court will set the agenda for pretrial.

I didn't bother to read all of @Arauna's rant because she was only making excuses for the Paedophiles in the CCJW and the dishonesty of the GB in withholding information from the American courts and authorities.  Her first sentence said it all really. 
Question: Is it really about MORALITY or are they going after all christian religions? 
The answer is that they are going after Paedophiles so that CHILDREN can be protected. And obviously the GB and most JWs think more of the Organisation than they do about God, Christ and children.  The Superior Authorities were put in place by God and this scripture is quite clear about it. 
Romans 13 v 1 through 4. 
 Let every person be in subjection to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except by God;  the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God. 2  Therefore, whoever opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God;  those who have taken a stand against it will bring judgment against themselves. 3  For those rulers are an object of fear, not to the good deed, but to the bad.  Do you want to be free of fear of the authority? Keep doing good, and you will have praise from it; 4  for it is God’s minister to you for your good. But if you are doing what is bad, be in fear, for it is not without purpose that it bears the sword. It is God’s minister, an avenger to express wrath against the one practicing what is bad.
It is so sad when JWs, including the GB,  disobey God deliberately, just to protect an organisation. 

No. I would agree it's not important. Also, I should mention that I don't believe there was ever any good evidence for the idea that the two tablets were merely copies of each other. The general impression I get, reading it since then, is that it's more likely that two tablets contained 10 commandments, meaning that there was an average of 2.5 commandments on each of the 4 sides. (Likely 3 + 3 + 2 + 2, or 3 + 2 + 3 + 2, assuming the tablets had about the same number of characters on each, and the tablets were about the same size.)
If there is anything important about this fact, it might be that it implies that the letters were of a large, highly visible size that a human like Moses would not normally be able to chisel. It might also imply the simplicity of the basic law, and yet the burden or weight it imposed on imperfect humans. Or it could imply not just the "weightiness" but the lasting character of the law covenant. (Larger inscriptions take longer to be weathered away.) Or the hand of Jehovah was not to be misinterpreted by trying to interpret small letters among small cracks and contours of natural stone. The interpretation of His words was "solid."
Anyway, those are just guesses, of course, about why it might have been important at the time. But these particular tablets didn't last long, and we don't know how perfectly Moses matched the copies.

 With representation of God’s priests, comes apparent authority.  It is interesting that God would bless this non-biblical position, since nowhere in the Bible does scripture say God would allow His priests to be represented or replaced.
But then, do JWs care what God thinks?  I wonder.
“The Lord said to Aaron, “You, your sons and your family are to bear the responsibility for offenses connected with the sanctuary, and you and your sons alone are to bear the responsibility for offenses connected with the priesthood.

Since the anointed are the sanctuary Temple/House of God, the GB has allowed others  (“Gentiles”) to come “near the sanctuary”, and act as God’s priests.  Elders “sit” – rule with authority – over/in,  the Temple of God.  2 Thess 2:3,4; 1 Cor 3:16,17; 1 Pet 2:5,9; Eph 2:20-22; Rev 13:5-7
The Lord said to Moses, 6 “Bring the tribe of Levi and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him. 7 They are to perform duties for him and for the whole community at the tent of meeting by doing the work of the tabernacle. 
“Appoint Aaron and his sons to serve as priests; anyone else who approaches the sanctuary is to be put to death.” Num 3:6,10
 
Will Queensland challenge the authority of the elder body? Should we let Queensland know who are the acting priests of the WT?
Will the elder body back down and refuse to be called “priests” when they are confronted by their actions of not reporting child abuse, and the promise of jail time looms before them?  Or, for “Jehovah’s organization” will they do their time in jail, instead of obeying the laws? 
Every JW should challenge the authority of the elder body over them.  It is lawlessness. 
“His armed forces will rise up to desecrate the temple fortress and will abolish the daily sacrifice. Then they will set up the abomination that causes desolation. 32 With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.” Dan 11:31,32
 
   
Priests in Queensland will now be compelled to break the seal of confession to report child sexual abuse or face three years in jail.

But One Nation MP Stephen Andrew said it set a dangerous precedent for religious leaders.
"The bill poses a real danger for public trust and cohesion in our community," Mr Andrew said.
Archbishop Mark Coleridge argues the new law won't improve child safety.(ABC News: Lincoln Rothall) "Many priests and bishops have publicly stated that they will go to jail before obeying these laws.
"How confident can the people of Queensland be that they live in a free and open democracy governed by the rule of law, where the state jails its bishops?"
Members of the Catholic Church in Queensland have previously voiced their opposition to the laws.
Earlier this year, Brisbane Catholic Archbishop Mark Coleridge told the ABC he believed breaking the confessional seal would "not make a difference to the safety of young people".
'It's about morality'
Hetty Johnston from the child protection group Bravehearts expressed her support for the new laws.
"I don't think there is enough jail time in the world that would replace a child's innocence … what sort of punishment is suitable for someone who would allow that to happen?
"So I don't know that it's about time, it's about morality."
The laws enact recommendations of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

Oh dear, feathers ruffled very quickly. So, there must be some truth in my comment above. 
For anyone that is interested. I think i can remember JWI saying that the GB were 'backing off' (my phrase) from the 1914 teachings. I even think I remember him quoting how many times, per year, that it was used in W/t mags. Hence when i saw it in this fairly new W/t i was surprised. 
When you look at the title of this very topic :

Then you would think my comment above would be quite acceptable to honest hearted ones. 
I did do a bit of research and found out that the 1914 date had some relation to Pyramidology / Russell / Rutherford, which was still believed up until 1928. Not exactly 'Holy Spirit' guiding that was it ? 
My answer to @Arauna is this.  The Bible does not mention 1914 at all. So the Witnesses that believe in 1914 are not doing so because they believe what the Bible says, they are doing so because they believe what the Governing Body says.

Of course, Hebrew is read from Right to Left instead of Left to Right, so another way to look at this could be:

John, I know my words are strong, because I defend Jesus Christ, my Head and the Son of God.   I also know you've been in the WT many years and have seen many changes in the organization.   Men, can influence us with what they may call, in our "best interests".  In the last days, the remnant anointed are tested by Satan with a powerful, flooding delusion - a delusion that appears to be in their best interests. (2 Thess 2:9-12; Luke 17:26,27; Rev 12:15)  But, it deflects from the purpose of why they are anointed. The organization puts the anointed role of God's priests on the back burner, saying their "power and authority" will not take place until after Armageddon.  Did we see the foundation stones appearing to be weak in their proclamation about the Christ?  No, they guarded truth, as we all should.  Pure truth, that the Temple of God is built upon. 
God allows Satan to test all of us, and his last deception is his greatest. (Luke 22:31; Rev 13:13,14; 16:13,14; 20:7-10)  Satan "deceives" us, using falsehoods.  He knows he's about to go down, he knows that when the last "temple stones" are in place, his "mountain" that he has fabricated, the "mountainlike organization", will be destroyed.  He prefers we all go down with him.  (Zech 4:8,9,7; Rev 8:8,9)  
There is only one "mountain" that God wants us to  recognize.

The "mountains" that we turn to, when we leave the counterfeit "mountain" where abominations are committed by "Gentiles"/elders "sitting" in God's Temple, are those who left the idol; those who belong to the Temple of God - the anointed "living stones" of the priesthood.  
 

He certainly did, by forming His organization of the new creation, on His chief cornerstone, Jesus Christ. (2 Cor 5:17)
For in Scripture it says:
‘See, I lay a stone in Zion,
    a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
    will never be put to shame.’

This describes God’s “organization” – His spiritual “house” of “Israel’s” priests and authentic witnesses of God.  (Isa 43:10)   “Bethel” means, “house of God”.  Yet, the Wt organization built its own “house” of God, with “Gentiles”. 
Which “house” do you think God prefers to run? The one built on the spiritual Body of His Son, or the one that you consider as His, built in the world of Satan?

God “organized” the foundation of the living Temple in Christ, which we see was established when Jesus was on the earth. 
“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.”
Peter is one of the foundation stones of God’s Temple.  Has anything changed during the last 2,000 years?  Did God fail in his organizational building efforts of adding faithful “stones” to the Temple?  Did He scrap this idea and decide to instill in the hearts of men around a hundred years ago, the desire to build His house out of what this world has to offer, in the form of riches, and using men to do it?
 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.”  Act 17:24,25
Since the apostle Paul said that God does not live in temples built by humans, He obviously would not inhabit an organization built by humans. There is only one spirit creature, that would convince us otherwise; Satan, who offers material possessions, and power and authority over God’s spiritual “kings” on this earth, if one “bows down” to him.   (Luke 4:5-7; Rev 13:11,12)
The Bridegroom protects those who recognize his priesthood and Temple of God. “Foolish virgins” are left behind – those foolish enough to surrender their power and authority over to earthly endeavours.  They buy their oil, their spiritual "food", not from Christ, but from false christs. (Matt 25:2,9,10; Rev 13:16,17; 3:18)   This is why the gate is so narrow.  HE is the gate, not the Watchtower, who has robbed JWs of the knowledge of God’s spiritual meaning of “organization”.  . John 10:9,10 
The apostle Paul is also a foundation stone of the organized Temple of God:
“By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives among you? 17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.”  1 Cor 3:10,11,16,17
Already, this Temple of living stones has been “destroyed” in the minds of JWs, for they have placed an idol of earthly “organization” before them, to bow down to – as prophesied to happen in the last days. (Rom 1:25; Rev 13:4) The “Gentile” elder body has the authority OVER God’s Temple – the “holy city” members of God. (Matt 24:15; Dan 11:31,32,36)
“I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, ‘Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshippers. 2 But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. Rev 11:1,2
Whenever God’s priests have been replaced, or His Temple defiled by “Gentiles”/”foreigners”, a price is paid.  (Num 18:19; 2 Chron 23:6,7; Num 18:7; Ezek 44:6-9; 2 Chron 13:9; Num 3:10)
This is rebellion and “lawlessness”. Are you prepared for what is to come upon the organization, in light of the iniquities committed by it?  (Rev 18:4-8)  The Temple priesthood in the organization, has as their Head, the GB.  If they turn their back on them, rejecting their “headship”, and submit fully to Jesus Christ, guess what the elders do? What are the elders commanded to do?  They spiritually “kill” them.  (Matt 23:34; 24:48-51; Rev 13:11,12,15)  The elder body has replaced God’s priests. It’s clearly stated so, in your magazines.   They have been given authority by “false christs” to judge them spiritually – the servants/priests of Jesus Christ!
 Doesn’t this sound a little out of place to you? It certainly isn't God's definition of "organization".    
“Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.” Rom 14:4

“Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come (the coming of Christ) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.”
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendour of his coming.  2 Thess 2:3,4,8
The earthly organized form of worship was abolished when Jesus Christ arrived on the earth, yet the Wt refuses to acknowledge this, since an "earthly form of worship", is its lifeblood.  And now, as the years have progressed, it completely refuses to recognize and use, the authentic spiritual priesthood of God.  “Gentiles” are apparently “blessed” with God’s approval, to act as His priests.  This is blasphemy.  This is lawlessness. 
"But didn't you drive out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and make priests of your own as the peoples of other lands do? Whoever comes to consecrate himself with a young bull and seven rams may become a priest of what are not gods."  2 Chron 13:9
Who is Christ’s enemy?  Who’s reign is threatened to come to an end by the completion of the Temple of God? (Zech 4:7)
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.  See, I have told you beforehand.”Matt 24:24
Please consider what your twisted “organized” form of worship will say out of one side of the mouth; and only a few days later, out of the other side:
"As Christians, we face up to similar challenges today. We cannot take part in any modern version of idolatry—be it worshipful gestures toward an image or symbol or the imputing of salvation to a person or an organization." Wt 1990 11/1 p. 26
Exod 20:4-6 - “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.”

They must appreciate that identifying themselves with Jehovah’s organization is essential to their salvation. But was it started deliberately and is it being used to lower population levels earthwide ?  It is 'cleaner' than a war.

You said: "Russell didn't care for the Pyramid scheme" and now it appears you wish to give, as evidence, the fact that Russell wasn't sure if the Pyramid indicated anything for the year 1910. If you read what Russell said, however, he claimed that the Pyramid perfectly supported 1874, 1878, 1881 and 1914. He had several times predicted related events timed to about 1910, but he could not distinctly find them in the Pyramid, as he claimed to have found for other dates.
Even in 1911, just months after this 1910 question was answered, Russell said in the March 15, 1911 Watch Tower:
"No doubt all of our readers have read STUDIES IN THE SCRIPTURES, Vol. III, the last chapter of which describes the Pyramid and sets forth much of the wonderful symbolic teachings shown in its construction. It shows the Pyramid to be in exact harmony with the Bible. Indeed, some, after reading this volume, have referred to the Great Pyramid as 'The Bible in Stone.'"
Just because Russell didn't care for how well the scheme supported 1910, doesn't mean he didn't care about how it was in EXACT harmony, he claimed, with 1874, 1878, 1881 and 1914.
The 1917 Finished Mystery book bragged about how Russell's chronology was written before he ever saw the Pyramid, and before he even saw any of Edgar's abundant evidences of the accuracy of Bible chronology in the Pyramid.
In 1920 Rutherford went to see it, and the Watch Tower in Dec 15 reported that all the other pyramids were built under the direction of Satan except "the Great Pyramid, which was built under the Lord's supervision."
In the June 15 1922 Watch Tower Rutherford published that the "present-truth chronology . . . the correspondency of dozens of measurements proves that the same God designated both pyramid and plan. . ."
By 1924, it was claimed of course in the May 21, 1924 Golden Age that the Pyramid, the "Scientific Bible" verified the importance of 1874, 1914 and 1925. (This addition of the 1925 date is actually kind of hilarious if you have carefully read Charles Piazzi Smyth and Joseph Seiss, and see how Russell had re-used their material.)
Also in 1924, The Way to Paradise, showed the Pyramid with the caption "GOD'S PLAN WRITTEN IN STONE." Here, it was conjectured that Shem probably built it. Russell had conjectured it was Melchizedek.
This was repeated in 1925, and as late as 1926, the Watch Tower said that "advanced Bible Students believe that the Great Pyramid at Gizeh is the witness to the Lord in the Land of Egypt mentioned by the Prophet. (Isa. 19:19)"
It was not until 1928 that it became a monument built "under the direction of Satan the Devil." It was now Satan's Bible and no longer "Jehovah's Witness" in stone. This was one of the reasons for the controversy when Rutherford insisted that this false information in Volume III, continue to be sold and advertised in 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, etc. And still made available for sale by the Society even in the 1940's. Special deluxe editions of the Studies in the Scriptures were still mentioned in the Kingdom Ministry as late as July 1967.

I hope they punish elders as well for threatening the victims with disfellowshipping or disassociation for going to the authorities.
