I wonder what is difference between this two words: rule and doctrine (as part of JW's lexis and vocabulary context)? In example you gave, "beard ban thing", is very well possible to see how Centralized Body in US Bethel made decision (i suppose from Rutherford time) how beard is not for JW's Christians because that would not make them to be seen by "worldly people" as True God's servants. In their attempt to be United and Unison, as characteristic that is  part of Universal View on Organization originated by God. By that, all individuals who are part of such Organization must have clear and general and only one standpoint worldwide about this or any other subject, matter.
And exactly this moment, how all JW's need to have same standpoint about one matter making this "rule" to be doctrine and not just simple rule for some situations that is not obligation for people in other situations. But again, who made "rules" about next thing; what situations are acceptable and what situations are not acceptable to "break a rule"?
Is/was "beard ban issue" part of recommendation, or rule, or doctrine?
When congregational elders make decision, according to GB guidance (here we have another terminology- guidance), how brother with beard are not suitable for having public talk or to be in any capacity in congregation or even preaching service, than "beard issue" is not just recommendation or rule but comes to be doctrine as part of JW's Unique Teachings that making this religion to be unique and separate from all other organization and religions.
In WTJWorg world, members can't be sure about own lexis and meaning of particular word. Because, people would expect how doctrines/teachings are based on firm fundament aka Bible, and will last forever and unchanged. But in this Organization recommendations and rules are of same value as doctrines or to be said Bible doctrines (principles) are put on same low level as rules and recommendations - they can be rejected or changed or molded into other forms depends of  what will pleased WTJWorg Administration.
Librarian released topics how beard are now allowed for JW members. This confirms how "beard" is part of WTJWorg doctrinal problem.
JW’s are now allowed to have beards and publicly preach....

I was reading a chapter this week in an old JW book from  1963. It was about the 666.
The theme of the bible (in a nutshell) is all about rulership: Jehovahs and satan's.  HUman independence from jehovah's rule and how detrimentally it affects mankind due to human imperfection and satan's rule behind the scenes. Heavenly and earthly disobedience against jehovah and its results.
It further tells us how jehovah will restore mankind to perfection AGAIN by means of his kingdom government under Christ  - who came to redeem us and shine light on how to live in a wicked world. It highlights the restoration of heaven and earth back to perfection under JEHOVAH'S rule.  Eph 1:9 &10
Well, in the book "Babylon the great has fallen"  the seven worldly empires in world history, which have dominated over Jehovahs people, have blasphemous names on each  head of the beast (rebellious names, I guess, against Jehovahs perfect rule) and the entire beast has a name on it which identifies its actions..... not a name ....but a number: 666 - a man's number.
Six hundred and sixty and six in 3 stages. The number 7 appears in Revelation 52 times and always refers to it as a symbol of perfection. Six is a man's number and falls short of 7 (six days is short of a week - another biblical pictures.ie creation week and mosaic week ). Six is therefore a symbol of fallen man's imperfections and shortcomings....... So this beast's human rulerships have brought hardship on mankind....
If we multiply the six with the number of the wild beasts horns, it multiplies the imperfection and deficiency ten fold. In the bible the number 3 represents emphasis, when in successive format. Ez 21:27.  So if we raise six to the third and final degree in the wild beasts name, it emphasizes the deficiency of human political organizations - which is symbolized by the entire wild beast under satan's control.
Just like six is always short of seven day week.... so satan's rule can never bring us the completeness and perfection of Jehovahs rule.  Even in the scientific space age - it will fall short.
I fear we will see the complete wickedness of mankind when they use technology not for good but extremely evil things.  They may even have very good intentions....... but Satan is behind the scenes and he is controlling the strings of those who have godless goals.
The book also indicates that worship of the 'image' of the beast - the political state will be required. The image is the representation of the visible political system.  Since the UN is the image with the name-number on it - we know it is a human image and is bound to fail.
Worship of this 'image' turns humankind's attention away from Jehovahs kingdom.  Those who identify with this image get a mark on their hand and forehead. They mentally consent and approve of imperfect human rulership and lend a hand to imperfect human institutions by giving active cooperation (vote and money contributions etc) to these. They are marked as being in opposition to Jehovahs rule. Babylon the great (false religion) supports the worship of the political beast and its image.
True christians stick to exclusive devotion of jehovah and his kingdom as the only hope for mankind. They will face pressure from this beast to worship the image/ the final king 8th king.......
Some believe that the ID 2020 project is Satan's mark on the hand but we know that the mark of the beast is 'worship' of the human political system to bring peace and security to humankind........ it is not a literal mark or chip (although close). Many may refuse the chip but still support the political system or rebel against some part of it instead of remaining neutral.
The only time Jehovahs people will refuse to obey is when they compromise our moral integrity and our exclusive devotion to jehovah and our hope in his future government.

I do not like them either - so we agree on that!  But at least now we can chat like reasonable people.

You said that Babylon (false religion) will be destroyed and quoted scriptures. Totally agree, it is prophesied. Satan is using false religion at present to get people blinded, to not learn the truth about jehovah and Jesus's ransom.
Satan already has ideas to replace false RELIGION with one world philosophy that will tolerate immorality...... promote one universal God, whom we all know, in reality is himself.
Jehovah will allow destruction of false religion to happen at the time of His choosing....(he puts it in the ruler's  heart to turn against religion) when the showdown between Jehovah's kingdom and worldly governments  is reaching its eminent phase.  Because I think this new world order will exact exclusive devotion to the state.......  it will be as murderous as China's CCP is now on those who dissent. Satan is a murderer and his cohorts have his qualities - no respect for human life.
Forced worship of the state - the beast and the immorality it approves. At present we see abortion, LGBTQ, being rammed down our throats, I suspect there is more to come.... they are slowly warming us up to accept wickedness like a frog in a pot on a weak fire. Satan wants every person on the planet morally compromised
Yes, I have the same thought. Electronic money can be frozen..... or just disappear from your bank account.... you will then be an outcast, a street person breaking the law when there are curfews. Then you will be rounded up and.....who knows.
I was expecting black swan  event which would cause nations to accept monetary oversight from the UN and a digital monetary system for surveillance.  There are whispers on internet that they want it fully implemented by 2022. Is it possible?  If countries have a severe financial depression it is possible they will accept UN as the solution..... for international  cooperation.
The "image" of the beast is the UN and its coalitions and will become the 8th king for a short while.  The "image" will set world policies - just like it is doing now with Corona.  We know the WHO is corrupt..... the leader was responsible for at least 2 million deaths in Ethiopia (covered up) and is pro-China...... yet only UN recommendations are now allowed on TV for Corona.  Many other recommendations are being removed from social media. It is a good indication of what the future will be under UN (or its equivalent org).
Agenda 2030 is the UN plan for the next ten years. We can see the ' signs'  of UN rulership that is here - so we know this bible prophecy will soon come into fulfillment.  176 nations signed this agreement. We see the 'sign' but we do not know the day and hour.   The disgusting thing (UN) has to be in the land of decoration (attack the true God's people) for the end to come.
Once most of the world is on a digital money system, control will be complete together with full surveillance and behaviour accreditation (as is in china now - and computer infrastructure already has this capacity ). They can push things on us so fast that 2030 will only be a distant dream. Things can happen rapidly and suddenly.
Hunger, food shortage, untimely death is on its way...... (depression). How fast things will develop no person can tell..... because under a murderous regime things can turn pretty ugly real fast.
But, I pray that we are all ready to teach others during this time that is left because NO one will be able to find any words of jehovah when state worship is introduced. All will be banned.

We should never use such a dignified forum as the WorldNewsMedia to go tit for tat
    but
What a piece of work you are!
What is “worthwhile” is for the moderator to determine. It is the most ridiculous thing for you assume that this forum exists for you to level complaints, and that anything that does not earnestly address your beefs—as though persuasion was possible—is not “worthwhile.”
    You state—incredibly—that
You’re joking! You would characterize what you put here as ‘spiritual?’ I think even your allies will choke on that one. Petty, mean-spirited, and blistering, maybe. Spiritual? Don’t make the servers crash. Tell me, when you attach laughing emojis, hee-hawing like a donkey, to posts that are not particularly funny from any standpoint—are we to take that as your ‘spirituality’ on display?
And then, compounding all, is your odd seeming insistence that to call someone “a writer” is the greatest insult one man can heap upon another. Well, Rulf, who started this thread, clearly is “a writer,” and that did not demean him in your eyes, did it? You hailed him as Moses descending with the commandments, even without thinking it might be useful to read them first.

Patiently waiting for Truth got a reaction from Srecko Sostar in Another jw splinter group.
That, among other things, make me believe how organization is not precondition for following Jesus.
I don't see problem with "organization/organizing" as way for accomplish some task.
@Srecko Sostar In my opinion, The Organisation of CCJW is not a precondition for serving God through Jesus. But as you say organisation is good for accomplishing tasks. So there has to be a balance.
Do we really need to believe and accept how earthly organization is really only and best what God have, to be able to gather people who will follow Jesus?
As you mentioned, the Nation of Israel was the first way that God organised humans. But I think it's purpose was to bring Jesus to 'earth' through that line (King David).
The 1st century Christians were organised by Jesus. Sent out in two's etc and the forming of congregations. But God / Jesus used the Apostle Paul to write the letters to those congregations, not the 12 Apostles. So in my opinion there was NO 1st century GB.
However it would make sense to have some form of organised Organisation to preach the 'Good News' earthwide. As you said, to accomplish some task. But it needs to be organised into sections / departments. Spiritual things need to be separate from material things. And the spiritual things must have the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit, otherwise we end up with the situation we have with the GB, false prophecy.
Hence i believe there will be a true Anointed group of people earthwide to lead God's people. I don't think they need to be all gathered in one building or in one country. We have this wonderful internet system we are using, and the Anointed could use it to communicate this way around the Earth.  Each of the Anointed would understand situations in their own country. So it might be possible for each Anointed to apply different 'rules or restrictions' relating to their own country. (The men having a beard thing, might be a silly example, but in some countries it might have been offensive, in other countries it was no problem, so each Anointed in their own country would have known if it was a serious problem or not). Some things do not affect one's service to God through Christ, they are a matter of conscience. Those things should be left to conscience and no rules made. The preaching work could be organised by the Anointed in their own country. I don't think they need so much literature / books as they print. Surely a good Christian should only need the Bible. ( The Apostles only had the Hebrew writings ). I think it could all be so much simpler. Meetings could be purely to give praise to God, not to study the ideas of men through a magazine. I also think that a true organisation would be more loving and show mercy, not only to it's members, but also to those in need local to them. Although Jesus had two main purposes to fulfil, to teach the Jews and try to bring them back to God, and, to give his life on behalf of others, He also spent a while being kind and helpful to others.
So an organisation yes, but one run totally different to the way the CCJW is run now.... .

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24  Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” 25  When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” 26  Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
In this context we see it is conversation between two individuals. Both of them have some expectations from each other. Jesus said to young man: "follow me". Jesus didn't go into explanation how he must join organization, congregation, apostles or similar. He just made one and only precondition, follow ME (in literal way if we going  20 century back, or what is more important in spiritual way. Because even in case of young man and Jesus, his following him literally would be for very limited time - Jesus died soon) . And this is what God can make to be possible - making influence on person to be ready to "leave all" and join Jesus' teachings and example.
That, among other things, make me believe how organization is not precondition for following Jesus. And to use R. Franz terminology, idea and reasoning how "God must have organization", and "you must be part of JHVH organization to be saved", is doctrine that captures JW leaders and members. They are not able to think outside this captive concept. They based their reasoning on;  old Jew organizational national kings ruler system, and 1st century Judeo-Christian movement as role model and proof how God was always had organization of some sort.
I don't see problem with "organization/organizing" as way for accomplish some task. What is worrying is the impossibility/inability of individuals and the whole group of JW's to imagine how with God all things are possible, even that He is in capacity to have people on Earth who are not members of organized Religion, Non-profit Organization, or any Legal Entity that need to be confirmed and recognized  by secular authority.  If we take old Jew Kingdom or 1st century Congregation as historic examples, both of them existing without permission of other historical actors around them.
Do we really need to believe and accept how earthly organization is really only and best what God have, to be able to gather people who will follow Jesus? And if we take serious JW's claim how their Organization is exactly it, than this is God's third organized system and His third try/attempt to establish True Worship on Earth.
Third time lucky, this time? If WTJWorg is "anti-type" model of their "type" models before, than future is not looking good. Old Jew's Kingdom ended in total fall, spiritually and literally. 1st Congregation ended in apostasy.

The problem is usually with them - they do not accept Jehovahs moral standards.
Universities and tech corporations are pushing this new 'cultural revolution'  which is inspired by the Marx's  manifesto.  This includes atheism and lack of conscience and morals.

It won’t do it with me, either. That doesn’t mean that I buy into it, but I certainly don’t regard it as too absurd to mention.
Did they shoot it down at JWTalk? I’m not surprised. I’ve seen it elsewhere. As though brothers say, “Oh, no—things may be bad, but they’re not that bad.” As though they must prove that they are responsible persons who would never buy into fringe ideas that the “loonies” originate. As though the kings of the earth struggle with the onslaught of the 4 horsemen through valiant and honorable means, and would never stoop to what is underhanded—for they are honorable individuals who realize that the fight must be fair.
Rather than prove themselves responsible, I think they just prove themselves naive, and when those who shape opinion command that we put no stock in such “conspiracies,” they think it is their part to acquiesce. It is probably just as well that they do not embrace conspiracies because there really are a lot of nut cakes out there and it is impossible to know what is true and what is concocted, but so many appear to think it really is their duty to shoot these things down.
As for me, when I see the rot of human mismanagement, I assume that I am seeing just the tip of the iceberg. As with an actual tip of an iceberg, there is hardly a way of knowing what lies beneath the surface and so I do not devote much time to it. Unless I really have some relevant knowledge, I don’t go there, and even if I do have some relevant knowledge, I don’t go there much—but very likely whatever there is there is substantial.
If we are to look at things from God’s point of view—that the 6000 year experiment of human rule is permitted so as to demonstrate its failure, then the more spectacularly if fails, the better. “Conspiracy theories” roughly correspond to “each one’s hand will be against his own brother.” I see no reason to insist such things could not happen.

I used hydroxychloroquine with zink twice. My husband and I found a study on SARS 2.... , which is Covid 19,  I think it was a Chinese study translated in English... can't remember..... but I used it because I have a compromised immunity. I was very sick and it came back two weeks later.
The UN, WHO was controlling the narrative and refused to acknowledge that this protocol works. I was already using it when Trump announced it. After this this medication was not available anywhere..... even for RA patients.
They laughed at people who used it......even though several doctors healed 2 to 3 thousand patients and te9stified to it. (One was an elderly Jewish doctor that went online and gave testimony to its effect.....).  It is still deemed to be fake, news and removed from social media like all other conspiracy information...... So .. yes, I agree, the world is insane. Funeral parlours are saying that all deaths, regardless of the reason of death, are listed as Corona deaths.
This phenomenon is really as strange as the Epstein case...... no logic at all because there are things that are being hidden.  Yet......the majority of people are not questioning any of this...... maybe older ones..... but the new indoctrinated generation just accept what they are told.

I was expecting a black swan event to break the economy of the world. I did not know what it would be..... but it came.  Corona may have happened accidentally, and how, I am not sure.....there are many viable conspiracies out there......  but I do know that evil experimentation with nano-technology, viruses and much more has been going on for longer than we (naive ordinary folk)  think.
Although I do not agree with you on literally fleeing to the wilderness and your quirky vision of the bible, I agree with you on this:
These words I am writing now will destroy my credibility with everyone here, but I really have a strong inclination that the wicked will use technology to take over the rulership of the world and do satan's ultimate bidding........ to put everyone in a position ( by oppression)  to choose between jehovah or human rulership (the beast). We will be forced to obey their version of religion of the state which is ultimate immorality, without conscience, and worship of the state (beast).  ......
This is satan's ultimate goal: to get everyone to reject jehovahs principles so he can rob you of eternal life. To compromise yourself.  Satan wants everyone to lose everlasting life - like he has. He wants all and everything to be destroyed.  Jehovah knew this: that is why he foresaw that he would have to step into humankind's affairs to save some loyal flesh.
How far it will go, I cannot tell..... but it will be pretty bad because it will have to be proven beyond reasonable doubt that humans cannot rule themselves. The human condition at the height of human discovery will be worse than before the industrial revolution...... because our flaw (sin) brings out the worst form of domination, torture, oppression and degradation.
THULM in Arabic thulaam means total darkness and  injustice.  I think that life will be terrible in future due to the oppression and injustice. The suppression of ALL religion will bring total darkness to peoples lives. The only religion allowed will be worship of the state and its rules. People will search for information about God but it will be suppressed.
Now you know why I have been looking at the king of the north and its philosophy of atheism (spiritistic origins)  and worship of the state.  In Russia it is tolerating orthodoxy for now because orthodoxy is a totally hollow religion of rituals only and a religion of the state. (nationalism)
The super capitalists of the world are all atheists and have been pushing NWO agenda for many years.... they believe it will bring peace and security........   They support the UN's agenda which promotes the Chinese model of oppression of religion and worship of the state. The UN knows it cannot get power if it does not follow the Chinese model....... and all the richest people in the world know this as well. They are working together.
Many small businesses have been permanently broken by this Corona. This means that people's independence from the state is lost........ the UN banks may take over the world problems when the nations give over their autonomy to it......China will also have financial problems after this Corona.
The future will tell........... but what I am thinking is in line with bible teachings - albeit controversial.

    You open interesting theme.
WTJWorg have using specific wording, terminology for own history - cleaning, sifting. This applies to the organization, the system, as a whole. This have to include GB, Lawyers who work for society, elders, MS, Management who run all legal entities under various names, and members of course.
If top management aka GB as group who supposedly is connected with god through Jesus in  a special way, and as Gerrit Loesch  explained on TV, Jesus show Trust to Them (here we see a substitution of the thesis, instead of GB saying how they trust in Jesus, it turns out that Jesus trusts in GB). All this has its roots in the 1914-1919 idea of inspection from the sky, sorry, Heaven.
In one moment we see how exist two sort of "cleansing". One is self cleansing of individuals like Russell and his friends, who were unsatisfied with religion they belong. The WT publication i have read, say nothing about individual, personal need for "cleansing", but how Russell was not satisfied with religious teachings of own church. And that is impetus, that triggered his rejecting of established system he was participated and inherit from parents. Similar is today with many people who become JW's. Most of them join to religion because of "wrong teachings" that exists in their old church, or "promises about better life in the future". Few of them have extra individual needs because they feel guilty about own state of hearth, sinful behavior and similar reason.
In that aspect i don't see how one massive system, organization, and now this is organization with millions of members, can make any sort of "self cleansing" inside this firmly established system.
Also i don't see why would God and Jesus have extra interest to "clean" WTJWorg system. This is earthly organization as any other religious (or non religious) organization.
If God would have interest to clean WTJWorg, He maybe have same reason to clean Adventist, Catholic, Mormon, Amish and any other Christian or non Christian religion. Because, major of all that people want to believe in God and worship him.
I believe how God like, would use more personal approach and give His attention to person not organization.
Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one. Job 14 4

You probably meant when Russell split off from some Second Adventists who were already ex-Millerite Second Adventists before Russell met them. They were already a mix of several eclectic beliefs, but far from 7th Day Adventists who were themselves a parallel split from Millerite Second Adventism (but with more continuity than other splits).
This one is truer than most of us will admit.
Wikipedia: The Church of God (Seventh Day) represents a line of Sabbatarian Adventists that rejected the visions and teachings of Ellen G. White before the formation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1863.

I just curious of your opinions. Seeing as how there is becoming a great divide of opinions among Jehovah's Witnesses regarding the actions of the governing body do you see a possible future where there will be another splinter group of jw's coming up with their own organization. Kind of like when Russel split off from the 7th day, then the jw's split off from the bible students, Armstrong split off from the jw's and got his own following, etc....?

I see, in my opinion, that the parables of the slave/ steward could have three senses:
    1
According to the Bible, in a sense I am a steward, or supervisor of my family. I have to take care of it, feed it and take care of it.
    2
(1 Timothy 5:17) "Let the elders who preside in a fine way ..." shows that in each congregation there must be some who supervises and cares for the rest of the congregation: a steward group of elders.
    3
In the final age it would be neccesary a global stewardship
The analysis of the next passage alone yields much information on this matter, the administration or stewardship of the "house of God":
(Revelation 7:9, 10) . . .After this I saw, and look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands. 10 And they keep shouting with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation we owe to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”
    1) A large number of people would be saved from the final Great Tribulation
Each one in her house, living only according to her criteria or conscience? Let's see
    2) They ALL dress the SAME way, in white in the eyes of God
So there should be a unified behavior and conduct, not based ONLY on individual consciousness
    3) They speak in unison, they have a common message
They "shouted" the same message. There is nothing worse than a detuned choir.
    4) The basic doctrinal body would be the same
They worship one God and see the value of the Lamb.
    5) Something that would make this unit difficult is that they come from very different backgrounds
"of all nations, tribes, peoples, and languages,"
How could Mt 24:14 be accomplished with the outcome of Rev 7:9-10 without direction, organization, supervision or stewardship?
Over there I am listening to one, there in the background, who says that Christ from heaven takes charge, with the holy spirit, that there is no need for greater supervision. Am I right?
if someone thinks like that, let's consider:
In another apocalyptic prophecy we read that
(Daniel 11:33). . those having insight among the people will impart understanding to the many. . .
(Daniel 12:10). . . And the wicked will act wickedly and no wicked will understand. Only those having insight will understand.
It seems that the prophecy indicates that there would be TWO groups of worshipers: the PEOPLE, the MANY on one side, and THOSE HAVING INSIGHT on the other. And this second group would help to obtain knowledge to the first one.
Yes, it would be necessary to teach others not the basic truths of the Gospel but what the angel said:
"(Daniel 12: 9)" these words must be kept secret and sealed until the end time "
"These words", which should be understood with the help of "those having insight", refer to such profound thoughts of Daniel's prophecy that even the prophet himself was unable to understand (Daniel 12:8  "I heard, but I did not understand"
Thus, this last world stewardship seems very necessary, since unifying an international crowd with similar behavior, with similar beliefs, that have a united message, would be impossible without such leadership. And Daniel adds a smaller group that oversees that teaching.

So stewardship applies, in my opinion, to any Christian who has to be a steward: on my family, on my congregation, and on the entire world brotherhood.

Could it be a matter of politics?
While there is nothing wrong with reviewing our procedures to see if it is spot on with the bible, I pose one question: are we now imitating worldly governments which have investigative committees ?  Are we now supposed to institute this on our teachings? ... when we all know that there is nothing wrong with our core teachings?
The GB  are the spearhead of the commission from Jesus to preach but - as Chavez said -  indicates they must be board members for a registered corporation.
Is a possible solution this: the GB step down from anything to do with the legal corporation and give it to a few committees with overseers to run and be  the board members?  After all, they must prepare now for Armageddon when they get their call to the marriage of the lamb....... who will then run things through Armageddon?   The GB can head up the spiritual food committees at present which will later take over when they are no longer here.
Is this maybe a wakeup call for them to act and change something?

You forget how last "clarification" made before few years when WT study edition revealed how GB-FDS was NOT appointed in 1919 OVER ALL BELONGINGS, but only to DISPENSE spiritual FOOD.  According to WT explanation what is meaning and content of "belongings", it said how that including material assets and people-members ............. one thing was made clear to JW's - In Doctrinal theory sense:
    1) GB is no more Governing Body over people in Organization
    2) GB no longer has anything to do with money and real-estate.
That WILL be in future, according to WT article.
But who should have? Who have power over members? And, who handling with money and real-estate?
Do GB need own, specific sort of Organization for dispensing spiritual food??? What they need in this modern time is internet connection, laptop and own you tube channel. They not need buildings, lawyers and elders.
Are elders appointed "over all His belongings"??? By who and when? By GB in 2013? hahahaha
If God took appointment from GB in the year 2013, by paragraph published in WT study edition article, this same article not bring new revelation about WHO is then in charge with "belongings", from 2013 to some future point !!
But because almost all WT policies, doctrines and interpretations are questionable, all this ideas about Organization in format of worldly Company is odd. Betel HQ in US is physical place where some people creating  policies and run the business.
If GB is supposed to not has anything with "earthly possession", it seems how elders are class who Governing over "ship". But, question is who gave them such authority after GB-FDS was removed (with one movement of god's hand) from that same position in 2013 ?!.

This series is a "Bible-based" drama.  Is this any different than what the WT does to create their Bible based dramas?  I don't think so, except for the quality.

    https://studios.vidangel.com/the-chosen
I don't watch television and I'm quite choosy as to films that I will watch, but when it comes to the 'Life of Christ Jesus' I am quite keen to watch films and programmes of interest.
I have just finished watching Series One of ' The Chosen'. It is about the Life of Jesus from before He made Himself know to the 'public at large'.
Of course it uses a lot of 'artistic licence' and lots of things in it are not facts, but I find it helpful to see the type of lifestyle the Jews lived and to see Jesus and His followers as real people.
I don't know if your 'Leaders' will tell you not to watch it, but i found it relaxing and a pleasure to watch. I particularly liked Nicodemus and his meeting with Jesus, the questions asked and answered.
I don't think any of you would find it offensive but of course you will note many faults in it, as i did. However, in my opinion it is far better to watch this than watch most other films of our time.

JWs just look for ways to 'defend' those 8 men that they worship.
So, JWs belittle anyone that speaks against the GB. JWs have no balance on this matter. It is all praise the GB, curse the 'enemy'.  However in reality even the JWs know how wrong the GB have been and still are on lots of things.
I do accept that they are only men and that they are imperfect. And that they are neither inspired or guided by Holy Spirit. They have proved all of those things. So what gives them the right to rule ? What gives them the right to call themselves the F&DS ?
I laugh at Tom, when he talks about 'independent elders', because there is no such thing. The independent ones have been disfellowshipped.
I think many JWs will be shocked when God/Christ cleans out the CCJW and the true Anointed take over, or start a new organisation.

Patiently waiting for Truth got a reaction from Space Merchant in private member's bill in Parliament England, to minimum age for marriage from 16 to 18
    https://sputniknews.com/uk/202005221079386943-uk-ministry-of-justice-has-open-mind-on-raising-minimum-age-to-18-to-stop-child-marriages/
I thought this article was interesting, particularly as @Arauna seems to say that the world and all it's governments are totally immoral and that all schools and colleges teach immorality etc .........
Here in the UK a politician is trying to have the legal age of marraige raised from 16 to 18, to stop child marraiges.
Conservative MP Pauline Latham is seeking to pass a bill which would “revoke parental…consent which permits the marriage…of a child and to criminalise child marriage…under the age of 18.”
I just thought it gives a bit of balance to the usual JW cry of 'the world is wicked' 'all non JWs are wicked' etc....  I do like a bit of balance.
The article is dated 22nd May and I have no idea of the outcome, but it's nice to read about a politician that is trying to do something positive to held young people.
