If Moses made only that one famous mistake, i would expect from God to forgive him, and not in the future time, after/with Resurrection, but in the very moment in the past. Perhaps God thought how Moses need extra lesson.
It is interesting how You made conclusion, about GB, how they making similar mistakes as Moses, but not deserve immediate punishment as in his case. Does this mean how GB never was and never will make such sort of "mistake" and will enter into Promised Land despite those "mistakes"?
What makes GB's and Moses's mistakes to be so different and not calls for same sort of treatment, not calls for using same Principles ??

It's wise to define mistakes.  Moses clearly was an inspired prophet of God.  We have written evidence that God worked through him. Parting the Red Sea was not by his power, but by the power of God.
We have clear evidence that prophesy made by Watchtower leaders was never under inspiration from God.  We also have clear understanding from God through his prophet Moses, what to expect will happen to false prophets.
But a prophet who presumes to speak in My name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”
21 You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” 22 If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.  Deut 18:20-22
Being a false prophet is not dismissed by a slap of the hand from God.  If a leader expects obedience to his words that fail time and time again; and then makes the judgment call of spiritual death on someone for rejecting his leadership, would you call that an act of "humanity and mercy on other humans"?  Thousands who have accepted Christ's leadership over the leadership of a wicked slave, have been sanctioned as spiritually dead.

“Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.  Matt 24:9-13

You gave a quick soundbyte without thinking it through. Moses made mistakes and was punished - not condemned to gehenna. He will get his ressurrection. Same with today's slave, they make mistakes but will not be condemned to second death.
If you were appointed  in the place of God, I am sure all would get Gehenna!  That is why you can not be  a JW..... you have lost your humanity and mercy on other humans.  God himself says if you hate your neighbour in this way - you have no life in you. You are a vehicle of death.  Satan is the father of death..... so think through your  way of thinking and repent.

Brothers and Sisters associated with the Watchtower society            May 9, 2020

I have tried to inform you of the necessary adjustments you ought to take in order to truly be in the truth. But my efforts have remained fruitless. You well know the biblical procedure. Before punishing, God sends his messengers to expose the fault. And if the advice is ignored, then there is left only one option, a punishment. A very illustrative example was Pharaoh. God brought upon him 10 plagues. The first plagues were not so severe. But as Pharaoh did not change God had to bring upon him even more hard-hitting plagues.

It was a shock that the Russian government confiscated all that belonged of the WT. Why would Jehovah God allow that to happen? Could it be because the WT society is ignoring the advice from God's word, that is presented to it from messengers like me?

Could this Corona-virus be a plague from God? Like some of the plagues God brought upon Egypt, that also affected his people the Israelites?
I want you to reflect on the fact that the Corona-virus has caused that meetings at Kingdom halls have been canceled. And 2020 physical conventions have been canceled. And the public ministry by door-to-door witnessing has been canceled.

I must warn you that more plagues are to come upon you, until you start to listen and act according to the advice I and other messengers give you from God word. My intention is now to write to you after every new plague that will come upon the WT society from Jehovah God through Jesus Christ, the head of the congregation and remind you of the changes you need to take to really be in the truth. God brought upon Egypt 10 plagues before Pharaoh stopped to resist God's will. So that is an example for you.

Here below I will provide you a list of untrue teachings and practises the WT society must correct in order to please Jehovah God.

You have to stop teaching that for Jehovah God his own sanctification is the most important thing. Because that implies that Jehovah God would be a self-centered, narcissistic God. Instead Jehovah God is first and foremost motivated by love for his creation. Thus He is not primarily motivated by a his own sanctification. Instead it is we humans who should respond to God's love by being first of all motivated by a desire to sanctify God. (John 3:16; 1 John 4:8)
You have to stop denigrating Jesus' sufferings and love for humans and mankind. The WT society teaches that Jesus' agony before his trial was because his death would bring reproach on Jehovah. Because he would be killed as a criminal besides two criminals. No, that is false. Jesus was in agony because the knew how much physical pain he would have to feel. Having a true understanding of this allows one to feel pity for Jesus and to fully appreciate the sacrifice he did for mankind out of love for us. Jesus was not worried about the disgrace his death on a torture stake would cause, to the contrary it was a cause of glory for him and for Jehovah God. (John 12:23; John 13:31-33; Hebrews 12:2)
You have to stop denigrating Jesus' brothers, the anointed among the congregations. They are the firstfruits and they are Jesus' brothers (James 1:8; Revelation 14:4; Matthew 25:31-46)
You have to stop teaching false teachings about: 1914, 1260, 1290, 1335, 2300 days, when Satan was thrown down to earth, the seven headed beast in Revelation 13, the image of the beast, the mark of the beast, the woman and her flight in Revelation 12, who is Babylon the Great, the generation, the disgusting thing causing desolation, the king of the north, the fierce-looking king, the horn that has eyes and a mouth, Daniel 11:29-45, Armageddon, the time of the earthly resurrection, Elijah in the end time, who is the discreet and faithful slave, women's role in the congregation and what is prescribed and what is not allowed them, who is the man of lawlessness, Israel's status in the end time, the meaning of the overseer should be husband of one wife. (1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:6; Mark 10:11,12)
You have to stop going to court against individuals or organizations etc on copyright issues. (1 Corinthians 6:1-8)
You have to stop disfellowshipping brothers and sisters based on not agreeing with the WT organization's false teachings.
You must reinstate all brothers and sisters that have been disfellowshipped on false grounds and give a sincere apology and somehow make up for the wrong committed against them.
And when someone is reproved or disfellowshipped, the committed sin must be made known to the congregation. (1 Timothy 5:20; Matthew 3:5; Mark 1:5; James 5:16; 1 Corinthians 5:1)
You have to understand and believe and teach about the flight the woman in Revelation 12 is to undertake.
You have to understand and believe and teach that Ezekiel 38 speaks about a literal place where God's people will be gathered and live in security literally and that Gog from Magog together with his armies will come to plunder God's people's literal cattle, gold, silver and property and that it will consist of a literal great wealth.

Please, receive this call for correction and repentance and act accordingly. But if not, be sure God will have to cause trouble until his congregation as an entity has repented and turned around. God's word foretells troubles ahead for God's people, in order to cause a change to the better:

Daniel 8:11  It exalted itself even against the Prince of the army, and from him the constant feature was taken away, and the established place of his sanctuary was thrown down. 12  And an army was given over, together with the constant feature, because of transgression; and it kept throwing truth to the earth, and it acted and had success. 13  And I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one speaking: “How long will the vision of the constant feature and of the transgression causing desolation continue, to make both the holy place and the army things to trample on?” 14  So he said to me: “Until 2,300 evenings and mornings; and the holy place will certainly be restored to its right condition.”

Daniel 11:35  And some of those having insight will be made to stumble, in order to do a refining work because of them and to do a cleansing and a whitening until the time of the end; because it is yet for the time appointed.

@Arauna   dictator   noun   a ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained control by force.   a person who behaves in an autocratic way. (in ancient Rome) a chief magistrate with absolute power, appointed in an emergency.   autocratic   adjective   relating to a ruler who has absolute power. "the constitutional reforms threatened his autocratic power" taking no account of other people's wishes or opinions; domineering. "a man with a reputation for an autocratic management style" I think this describes your Governing Body very well

In Hitler camps, one is there AGAINST your will..... but I guess you do not see this reality - due to the OCD.
I read on this forum recently how you guys pulled brother Lett apart for owning a property which could be sold and used together with his pension when older. He was wise but all you saw was avarice and a person who is materialistic..... so now you change your positions very quickly when it suits you...... like a wind blown hither and tither. No integrity.
All I see in the letter above is a person who has become institutionalized and had become a free-loader which quickly turned to bitterness...... because he had stopped serving jehovah a long time ago.  The comfort and security offered him (he was hoping for life) was like having a free  provider - just appointed for you. He had lost his goal of why he went to serve at Bethal in the first place. The self-sacrificing spirit was maybe never there! or was lost along the way.
He knew things could change at any time and he also knew he can go and serve where the need is greater.  Bitterness grew because he now had to go out of his comfort zone and work and preach like other pioneers.
If he was really old  - he would qualify for a state pension and still go and preach where the need is greater - like I am doing. I get less pension than the average American, even less than the refugees, but it works for me. I am grateful to get it.
If he really wanted to serve God he would get on with serving and trust jehovah to survive - like many other pioneers do.  I know of many older ones who have to work and pioneer - like Paul did.  They trust in jehovah.
Technology has changed.... we no longer use books......and many of us gave up great careers and education..... but are not bitter about it. We gave it up willingly to serve where-ever we were needed, through hardship, hunger, beatings, shipwreck, adversity etc... as Paul said.

Patiently waiting for Truth reacted to Witness in Aleksandr Ivshin
It is a sad situation, and can be interprested as a very "extreme" move, which could remind one of Hitler camps.
But so does this situation: (translated from German).  It makes one wonder what party is more Hitler-like.
    Dear Brothers.
This is my [response] to the way you dismissed me of the Special pioneer service [effective the first of] January 2016. The [fitting] “loving words” cannot reduce my disappointment.
As you mentioned, I experienced a lot of joy and went through a lot of challenges. I was willing to set the kingdom interests first and to [make] sacrifices to serve Jehovah, wherever you thought it is necessary.
In the belief that the end is near and that the organization is [led] by Jehovah’s spirit, I started pioneering in my youth. I [turned down getting] a good education in the hope that the organization needs me. Jehovah is the best employer, as I was told.
And now you decided that my special pioneer service will end [on the first of] January 2016. I ask myself what changed that you do not need my service anymore after nearly 30 years?
I am astonished that you advise me to serve as an normal pioneer in the future. If the end is near, why is my service as [a special pioneer] not necessary anymore? Is it the money? Am I too expensive for the organization?
Do you need the money, which is donated to support the preaching work for other activities? For example for building projects, like Warwick or temple farms? I really feel betrayed and exploited.
It seems to be the case that some buildings projects are more important for the “slave” than humans, who try to help others. Your offer to release me from my duty to reach the monthly hours goal, that I can do necessary things like looking for a job or for living, is really generous. Until January you want to pay my allowance as usual.
Really generous of you! To be honest it feels like a hit in my face or a kick in my ass.
I have no financial back up in my age and no education. I can probably not expect any support from my family, as they warned me [about getting into special pioneering].
As you mentioned, I did not expect this decision and I do not believe anymore that the Governing Body or the Branch Office are really valuing the work I did.
Your encouragement to trust at Jehovah sounds like derision. As I thought Jehovah provides for his servants through his organization. You do not want to lose my service and my experience, but you do not want to spend a single dollar for it anymore.
How else could I interpret this sentence? Quote: “In view of the valuable experience you have gained in your ministry, we hope your circumstances will allow you to engage in the regular pioneering”… “In that way, your full time service will not be interrupted. As a regular pioneer, you may choose the congregation in which you want to serve; however, we hope that, if possible, you can stay in your current assignment. If you move to another location, please talk to the circuit overseer or write to the Service Department to know where you might be more useful.”
I truly understood now, what is important for Jehovah`s organization: the only things that are counting, are efficiency and the gain for the organization, not the people.
    Disappointed greetings.
    Your Brother
(I do not want to tell you my name until I am not longer depending on you).

I'm not a group of dictators making up rules to suit my own purpose and misleading millions of innocent people. I am only responsible for myself.
Whereas your GB pretend to the F&DS and therefore take great responsibility upon themselves, whilst suppressing the rest of the Anointed ones. But what they offer is not true spiritual wisdom and they do not follow the instructions from Christ.

I have to give it my "best shot", guessing to the best of my ability, using my experience and common sense ... often using the "smell test", and have to actually bet my life on the conclusions I reach.
If I guess, or decide wrongly, I of course have to pay the price ... and that can be anything from years of misery, to instant death, or worse.
If I rely on "Sky Pilots" for their wisdom, and THEY are wrong, I STILL have to pay the price, still anything from years of misery, to instant death, or worse.

It is because of OCD - vendetta mentality and......  I guess that is all you know.... so I do not blame you.... your scope is really too small.... just focussed on one thing.... So I leave it at that. It is really not worth arguing with you - you dwell on one subject only..... it consumes you...... OCD.  Not wasting my time to talk to you.

The key to understanding that scripture, Arauna is to understand WHO Jesus was speaking to .... specifically .... and what was the then common practice of divorce.... among that specific group.
Or do you believe that a man or woman is doomed to live the rest of their life alone, because their mate abandoned them to die, moves away, and never returns?
Remember, IT WAS THE DEATH PENALTY TO WORK ON THE SABBATH ..... but Jesus brought common sense to that argument, with the example of saving a lost sheep.
During the Las Vegas massacre several years ago, a man stole  a Utility Company truck in a parking lot to go into the line of fire, and take the wounded and dying to hospitals.
If he had been one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I suspect he would have been disfellowshipped as an un-repentent vehicle thief, as he admitted to doing it, was not sorry he did it, and the crime was public and notorious.
I read about it here in North Carolina ... it was world news.
Plus... he put his life in danger with total abandon.
Which REAL men do, from time to time, for all sorts of "un-approved" reasons.

As usual, you misquote me .... I referenced that the WTB&TS, through the Watchtower, taught circa 1960's, that homosexuality and bestiality was not acceptable grounds for divorce. The logic was so convoluted, playing with scriptures, that it ruined MANY lives, under the imprimatur of "THE WORD OF GOD.
    I did not write that.
I only reported that OTHERS wrote that.

I agree with @Srecko Sostar about acceptance of God, Jesus and Gospels.
Most JWs cannot separate their religion, from God, Christ and the bible.
Most JWs think that if a person leaves the CCJW then that person has also left God and Christ and no longer believes the Bible. Mr Harley seems to be one of those that cannot get his head around the difference between God / Christ and the CCJW.
But even sensible JWs admit to the wrongful interpretation of scriptures by the GB. And honest JWs admit to the horrible CSA problems within the CCJW. And many JWs say how wrong the shunning and disfellowshipping of innocent congregants is.  And I would think it came as a shock to some when the GB admitted to NOT being inspired of God. So the GB now admit they do as many others do. They study God's word through prayer, and then make their own interpretations. Many of those interpretations are turned into rules of men and have no real scriptural basis.
The hypocrisy seems to appear when the GB 'change the meaning' of scriptures to suit their own needs. But JWs just accept the change as normal. Whereas people outside the CCJW may have known the true meaning many years before. Or in my case I realise that I am not supposed to guess or to know many things. It keeps me humble to know that it is a continuous learning curve.
