I can't believe your blindness.  I just wrote a topic on loving Jesus Christ without bounds, and you say I reject Jesus. You can't see the forest for the trees.  Is the tetragrammaton less important to you than the hybrid name, "Jehovah"?  If I call God, "Father", am I a hypocrite?  If I use the letters YHVH to represent the God I am referring to, am I a "Big Fake"?   Have I rejected God and His Son?  Or, have I just rejected the hybrid name, "Jehovah"?

See how she rejects the name of Jesus...
    No Jesus
    No Jehovah
    No Jews
This is really sad. Hilter claim there is no 'J' in the bible, therefore, there are no Jews!  He must not have read the books of Jeremiah, Job, John, James, or Jude and no King James Bible either?

Patiently waiting for Truth got a reaction from Dmitar in I doubt that Disturbed was thinking what I was thinking
May years ago when I lived in Bristol (England) there was an Elder that would whistle the tune to Bohemien Rhapsody.
I asked him if he knew what he was whistling. He said he just liked the tune. I explained to him that it was a song by a homosexual band about murdering someone. He said he didn't care and he would stil whistle that tune.
When my wife was studying with two sisters they admitted to liking Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell.  Meatloaf is singing about 'his heart tearing out of his body, whilst still beating, and flying away like a bat out of hell'... I really cannot imagine two JW sisters listening to it but it seems they enjoyed it.
It's funny what some JWs like. To me it's all 'part of the world' but I suppose we all need to listen to something.
But it seems Dimmy is keen on talking about racism and politics here. Now that has to be part of this world.

You see Dimmy, I was right. All you do is ask question after question after question, just to be annoying.
What do you post here that is spiritually helpful ?
What do you post here that gives any idea of what you believe ?
And now to add to your cooking pot, you are bringing in racism.
Dimmy, you do not have to be here. Do you understand YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMAIN HERE.
If you are sooooo unhappy with this forum then leave, go elsewhere.
But no, you just try to be annoying to everyone else. I say TRY to be annoying, because you do not succeed.
You are only good to laugh at.

In truth Dimmy, you do not want civil discussion. You just want to find fault in others.  The scriptures tell us that no one can bridle the tongue, because we are ALL imperfect.
However, what i do read here is people having their own opinions. Whereas you don't seem to have an opinion, you just ask question upon question upon question, just to annoy people.
As a former JW I admit to having faults, faults to the point of not expecting to gain entry to that 'New World'.  However I am NOT trying to lead thousands of people by telling lies. I am not pretending that God or Christ 'trusts me'.
The GB that you serve pretend that God and Christ 'trust them'. That same GB have given themselves the title of 'Faithful and Discreet Slave'.  That same GB are standing on top of the True Anointed remnant. That same GB are stating that those of the Anointed would be 'working against God's Hol Spirit' if those of the Anointed should gather together in prayer or Bible study.
So Dimmy, How are those things not questionable ???????????
I use Jesus as my example. Jesus was not frightened to show people up for what they really were.
You will know the words that Jesus used regarding the Pharisees. You will know that Jesus threw the wicked ones out of the temple.  In fact I think you would have accused Jesus of not being civil at that time.
We are supposed to follow the example of Jesus Christ. Love what is good, hate what is bad.

So tell me, did Jesus speak evil of the Pharisies ? OR, did Jesus only speak TRUTH ?
If the sins of a man are made known as a warning to others, is that speaking evil of that man, or is it speaking truth ?
Truth is not evil.  When crimes and sin have been commited by someone, it should be made known.

So please, can spirituality be found only in religion and religious ideology / theology?
The correct answer to this question also answers the others you ask.
Not. It just means that the listener realizes how much delusion there is in Samuel Herd’s spirituality.
So you're saying the confrontation with Samuel Herd and GB is a confrontation with God personally? How far you are ready to go with such perspective?

I just read Zeph 3 this morning -
Zeph 3 - Woe to the city of oppressors,
        rebellious and defiled!
    2 She obeys no one,
        she accepts no correction.
She does not trust in the Lord,
she does not draw near to her God.
    3 Her officials within her
        are roaring lions;
    her rulers are evening wolves,
who leave nothing for the morning.
    4 Her prophets are unprincipled;
        they are treacherous people.
    Her priests profane the sanctuary
and do violence to the law. (Ezek 44:6-9..."representing the royal priesthood...")

Matt 7: 15 “Be on your guard against false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves.”

Matt 24:24,25 – “For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 Take note: I have told you in advance.”
2 Pet 3 -  15 “And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also our dear brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him, 16 speaking of these things in all his letters. Some things in these letters are hard to understand, things the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they also do to the rest of the scriptures. 17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard that you do not get led astray by the error of these unprincipled men and fall from your firm grasp on the truth.”
Paul related, “I know that after I am gone fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Even from among your own group men will arise, teaching perversions of the truth to draw the disciples away after them.”
…leading astray, “even the elect”.  Matt 24:24

I’m not referring to the lyrics but rather the band. If the lyrics are to your liking, then post the lyrics. Don't promote the white supremacist band to make a point. Don't use the lyrics as an excuse to defend your brother, as it appears all Jehovah Witnesses do here.
There was a time in the past when a person used the same text this person used this time. That person was ridiculed and was subject to criticism by people here, commenting it was just an excuse to justify that person’s bad behavior.
"The same Jesus who drove out the money changers w/whips, called them offspring of vipers, that their father was the Devil and who suggested that congregations making a pretense at Christianity to get either cold or hot else he'd vomit them out of his mouth."
Can anyone explain why this person shouldn’t be criticized for the same bad behavior now?
Is there a monopoly on how members here use the Bible to benefit themselves? Is it out of friendship, people here are willing to accept certain people’s bad behavior, while not tolerating others bad behavior? Therefore, is this site just meant for a few troubling souls?
It also appears, at times, you have former members of this institution “defending” those Jehovah Witnesses that are rude and obnoxious, while making it seem, the entire institution behaves in the same corrosive manner, while claiming their own spiritual superiority in the name of God.
Can you explain, why I should "accept" the behavior of such a bad Jehovah's Witness?

I never push. If someone is happy w/the slop they're eating then it's not their time. If someone chooses to argue and I discern some value to them in so doing I will, but if it becomes like most useless exchanges on the internet I leave.
The angels are involved and Jehovah is involved and Jesus said "No one can come to the Father unless I draw him." So if they aren't being drawn at that moment, its just time to plant a seed here or there and let it be what it will.
Neither you nor I nor anyone else's activity in person or on the internet is needful save to the one who is performing this activity, because the garden we are concerned with is our own. When we listen to the bible and our conscience and understand that we don't have it made and that we have to exert ourselves vigorously, at those moments we're on track.
I'll admit to being off track a lot, but I try to get back on track (knowing I'll get off track again).

    Christ own words and action.
    CJB: Mark 12:41-44
41 Then Yeshua sat down opposite the Temple treasury and watched the crowd as they put money into the offering-boxes. Many rich people put in large sums, 42 but a poor widow came and put in two small coins. 43 He called his talmidim to him and said to them, “Yes! I tell you, this poor widow has put more in the offering-box than all the others making donations. 44 For all of them, out of their wealth, have contributed money they can easily spare; but she, out of her poverty, has given everything she had to live on.”

Here, former members of this institution in question, promote a false classification of what a donation to the church means? They apply animosity to their argument that is scripturally supported. First Century church donations were used not only to care for the poor but to expand the church of Christ. There are many ways to expand the church.

    The Christian Community
"The birth of the Christian community, or “the church,” usually is associated with the event recounted in the book of the Bible known as The Acts of the Apostles, when 3,000 people were baptized in Jerusalem after the extraordinary witness of Jesus’ disciples, who spoke in a multitude of foreign tongues after receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit."
There is nothing wrong with having spiritual leaders. Giving a "bad Report" about spiritual leaders is.

An Elect People (1 Thes. 1:1-4)
They followed their spiritual leaders (v. 6 a). The word "followers" is actually "imitators." These new believers not only accepted the message and the messengers, but they also imitated their lives. This led to severe persecution. It is important that young Christians respect spiritual leadership and learn from mature believers. Just as a newborn baby needs a family, so a newborn Christian needs the local church and the leaders there. "Obey them that have the [spiritual] rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls" (Heb 13:17). It is not enough for us as mature believers to win souls; we must also watch for souls and encourage new Christians to obey God's Word,

    To Visitors.
I wonder if there will be any civil discussions here in this forum. It is clear, no one here can stop being rude and obnoxious to have a sensible Christian debate.
However, former Witnesses here disparage their former institution while using conduct unbecoming a true follower of Christ. How is this behavior not questionable?
    "Our desires may undo us"
    2. Undisciplined desire is never reasonable. All considerations of fairness and justice, of right and wrong, of doing "to others what we would, they should do to us," must give way to this masterful desire.

This would be your projection of this institution. How did the apostles convey their spirituality if it didn't come directly from God?
How about not making assumptions to the visitor with your personal animosity.
Are you explaining to the public, people like Pearl Doxsey convey the 4woman spirituality through their blogs?
Can it be said, that the Pope is conveying his spirituality through the Vatican as a single man?
Would this be more projection for unwilling to understand the words of a spiritual leader?
Can you explain to the visitor, who gave you the power to challenge God?
Since I don't allow myself to be influenced by no one, here. How does your statement make any sense if your own willful refusal of scripture is undisciplined?

“To the pure, everything is pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; in fact, both their mind and conscience are defiled. “
    This means,
“Everything is pure for someone whose heart is pure.”  Why is their heart pure?  Because they do not entertain the impure.  Right? They guard their heart.   If a heart is defiled, would they perceive the pure?
Titus 1:16 – “They claim to know God, but they deny God by the things that they do. They are detestable, disobedient, and disqualified to do anything good.”
Rom 14 - So then, let us pursue what promotes peace and what builds up one another. 20 Do not tear down God’s work because of food. Everything is clean, but it is wrong to make someone fall by what he eats. 21 It is a good thing not to eat meat, or drink wine, or do anything that makes your brother or sister stumble.
Now this is an interesting choice, obviously concerning literal food and the Jewish law.  How do you compare this with Matt 7:15-20 which advises us on how to choose our spiritual food?
Which takes us back to the video and the contradictive message on music published in the magazine; and the leadership's choice for the convention, which clearly disregards the spiritual food provided as a guide.  Do they deny God by the things that they do?

Thank you for clarifying that for me.  I was taking it for granted that scriptural principles would be based solely, clearly, on the truth they hold, and that they would remain that way.  A "principle" can mean "a fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior or for a chain of reasoning.
The GB make use of a scriptural principle, such as "preaching the good news", but change the message to support their chain of reasoning - the doctrine of men.  If we consider the message preached over the years, with all of its dates and rotten teachings, the message is determined at the time by the mental behavior of the leadership; actually, deceptions created in their own minds, without the spiritual guidance of God.  (Jer 14:14; Matt 16:6)  As you say, their teachings are proven to be "unbiblical principles".

It is interesting to note here that "scriptural principles" are mentioned. How can principles be drawn from a Bible passage or passage? In many ways. But, the "only correct" way is for the elders to explain it to you, because a layman can make a wrong conclusion if he/she read the Bible by himself/herself, right? :))
Now, who explains to the elders what the principles are? Well, it is clear that this can only come from "Jehovah's organization", they say in WTJWorg. What is "Jehovah's Organization"? In this context, but also in most other contexts, it is the Supreme Church Body aka GB.
Of course we have Samuel Herd, one of GB Director who recently argues/claims that YHVH does not always/many times allow GB to see the meaning of what is written in the Bible, no matter how much they reading and praying for illumination.
How many years does it take for YHVH to "allow proper understanding" as they say? And what should be called “inappropriate/wrong understanding,” which in the meantime governs decisions based on “unbiblical principles”?
Some representatives of several JW stream/tendency on this forum, such as @Dmitar, forget that their principles are influenced by WTJWorg unprincipledness.

Thank you. We would meet as strangers, not Christian brothers. If you were to invite me to a pub, I would refuse. The same thing can be said about Jehovah witnesses here.
Let me clarify my words. Praising the Vatican for a stance is not the same as you vilifying this institution you hold animosity toward.
Can this be said about your personal belief, then? Now, how does your belief not apply to other churches, including the 4woman group?
Glad you understand being an adult with a discussion is a lot better than projecting your feelings though others.
It's sad when you have people like @Patiently waiting for Truth conducting himself uncivilly that makes a discussion impossible. There has to be an adult in the room.
