Patiently waiting for Truth got a reaction from Witness in 'There was no reprimand, nothing changed': Survivors criticise Jehovah's Witness elders for failing to act over child sexual abuse claims

The Jehovah's Witnesses church says its elders "endeavour to comply with secular laws about reporting allegations of abuse" - but survivors say that does not necessarily translate to helping the authorities.

"I don't like the way he touches me."
That is how Emily described her abuse to elders at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall she attended in Loughborough.
Emily (not her real name) was eight-years-old and the man she accused was a ministerial servant in his 60s.
What followed was a series of failings that allowed him to continue abusing children for years to come. Sky News has spoken to several abuse victims who claim there is a culture within the Jehovah's Witnesses that fails those looking for help and puts others at risk.Problems include a failure to report allegations to the police, and a system that requires high levels of proof from the victim, but also allows a repentant abuser to remain within the congregation - at times without other members being told what they have done.Emily was sexually abused from the age of four - but when she reported the crime to elders in 1990, they did not call the police and told her she had made it all up.She told Sky News: "There was a phrase that they used a lot which is 'liars will not inherit God's kingdom', which is basically saying you're going to die at Armageddon, because you're a liar."

One survivor said they were treated as liars, and that they would therefore 'die at Armageddon'
It's a long and very truthful article, but well worth reading.
It gives true perspective to the JW Org and the ones that rule it.

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/when-herbivores-arent-poor-chicken-got-eaten-cow-180951115/#:~:text=Lal the cow’s behaviour might be motivated by,of behaviour that we’re only beginning to document.
Do cows ever eat meat? Herbivores eat plants and carnivores eat meat, and then there are a few oddball omnivores that eat both. Cows are probably the best-known ruminants (and have been witnessed eating birds). Yet even animals from this highly plant-specialized group will eat meat when given the chance.
The answer you seem to draw your remark from is with the word accidental. This just means, as you imply, low IQ when it comes to not understanding a simple question. However, I noticed you draw your strength from being rude and obnoxious. Is this a Jehovah Witness trait? Or have you recently be removed from that organization you adamantly disparage to a point, you don't care what people think of your organization. Is this your intent?

I don't know James. I think rambo is billy and a dozen other AKA's.
Why you chose a dog though baffles me. Do you really feel that bad about yourself ?
I feel bad about myself right now, but then the Judgement will sort that out.

Scriptures have their advantages, but they also have their disadvantages. It is not a book on natural sciences, geology, biology, zoology, etc. For many of the things we are discussing we will never find a biblical quote. Or do you think it's possible?
If possible, then let’s say, who in this JW Open Club can quote some biblical passage that supports the thesis of JW Christians that blood components and fractions are that what they are not, or that they are not what they are?
Many have a problem with WTJWorg, not just me. Loyal members have a bigger problem, because they are inside and I am outside :)) The fact that we are in the JW Open Club and that we are developing various discussions under this platform shows that you are not quite right in that assessment.

I think the information in the Scriptures is for a purpose and that purpose is not to tell us everything, but to tell us what we 'need' to know.
I've stopped listening to 'religious leaders' and prefer to believe what God's word says about Him.

Happy holiday time to you as well friend. 2022 will be the same as 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018,2017.........I will celebrate Gods plan of redemption by lowering himself to a sinful soul like me to take my sinful nature upon Himself....but that had to start somewhere, and that was with the birth of Jesus Christ.

You're no different than Adolf Hilter who bought into the Catholic lie that there are No Jews because of the letter "J".

Yes, this forum is good for light entertainment. Sometimes good for testing one's reactions to insults.
Sometimes useful for reminders of a few scriptures, though when used by JWs those scriptures will be misused.
Very very useful for seeing the true colours of JWs.
Also quite useful for finding our information about the J W Org's lies and deciet.
But never is it useful for spiritual upbuilding.  Anyone coming here for that will be very disappointed.
Have a happy 'holiday time' soon and hopefully you will all live through into the new year.
I wonder what 2022 will bring our way. (Yes I know it's only numbers to count time )

Back on topic. I received my letter (by hand) today, concerning my resignation from the JW Org.
It confirms that I left the Org of my own free will, Quote
"Your email of resignation of 28 December 2017"
"John Butler disassociated by resignation, Date of announcement 4 January 2018."
There it is. It's nice to have it in writing.

I wonder why people spend so much time imagining anything they do has to do w/anyone else's salvation other than themselves.  (you can't save anyone, you can't save yourself either)
You goal should be to exercise yourself vigorously to get yourself through the door and make sure you're doing all you can to highlight the kingdom as the solution for all the woes we're facing.
    Anything else is a distraction.
All the noise just looks to me like a lack of faith.

Slandering Jehovah by claiming there is no "J" in the Hewbrew is a mute point. Transliteraion into English whic ALWAYS had the "J". Stop speaking English since you don't like English.
Ιεχώβα and Ιησούς   Ο Ιησούς σημαίνει ότι ο Ιεχωβά είναι η σωτηρία.
The spelling is different in almost every language you Jesus Denier. Adolf Hilter took that demonmic teaching from the Cult of the catholic trinity church to wipe out 6 million Jews you holocaust denier.

You're nothing more than a mere hypocrite trying to cling to the Name of Jesus when you denounce the very meaning of his Name.  "Jehovah is Salvation"
"Most truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes the One who sent me has everlasting life, and he does not come into judgment but has passed over from death to life." John 5:24

I'm pointing to your blatant hypocrisy of your witches brew when you denounced the Name JEHOVAH.  Claiming there is no Jevovah which proves you a liar.  No "J" would mean No Jesus, No Jews. Being a bigot suits you so well. Witches are cunning but not very smart, sorta dumb actually.
    Strong's Lexicon The LORD
    יְהוָה֙ (Yah·weh)

They have never been or now been witnessing to people, do you know how dumb that word 'witnessing' sounds. They are partakers in a business model of a pyramid scheme. They don't preach the Way, they preach the watchtower company.
