Patiently waiting for Truth got a reaction from Dmitar in Video Games anyone?
The only one I use is Facebook, and to me it is real. I have received so much advice for working on some of my classic vehicles. Advice and encouragement, and in turn I am able to do the same for others.  Also Facebook is now being used for the buying and selling of items. There are local FB pages for our area which has helped me to buy things and I've even been given items that other people do not want. In turn I can do this for other people too.  The local auctions all have a FB page and other local FB pages give details about traffic conditions etc.  It is a good tool for many uses.
I do not get involved in the 'politics' behind the scenes, therefore I have no reason to leave it.

I'm surprised you are into video games SM. I think video games are much worse than Facebook. I would never waste my time on such a 'pretend' life style. Fantasy worlds, voilence, crime, immorality, et al. My 27 year old son, that still lives at home with us, plays these horrible games. Unfortunately he has other problem and these games seem to help him, but it's all a pretend lifestyle.  Facebook is 'real', it's talking with real people about real things.

Patiently waiting for Truth got a reaction from Matthew9969 in How were JW elders who were really Communist Spies appointed by "Holy Spirit"?
This brings us back to 'What is an Apostate' ?
apostate /əˈpɒsteɪt/ a person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle. abandoning a religious or political belief or principle. "an apostate Roman Catholic"   So I am an apostate of the Watchtower / JW Org.    Why would people who dislike JW's despise a person that left the JW Org ?    And as you already know an Apostate Roman Catholic could become a JW. So being an apostate of a specific religion does not mean that a person is turning away from Almighty God or Jesus Christ.    People that don't like JW's may well be Ex-JWs, so they themselves would be apostate to the JW religion     Oh dear, the plot thickens. Coffee time .

Ha ha, you are so funny. You keep changing or adding AKA's and you keep deliberately twisitng most things I say.
That doesn't make you a 'good Christian' does it ? Cunning and deciet.
And what's all this rubbish about you representing me in court ? I don't need you to represent me anywhere thank you.
I have no anger. What I have is a level head and fair scriptural knowledge. Why should i expect to be saved when I commit sin regularly ?
The GB of JW Org also commit sin regularly but they expect to be 'lifted up' to a life with Christ in heaven.
So tell me 'friend', who is the humble one ?  Have a good day.

Since we are talking about stuff like this ... just a passing note .....

A lot of people know the story of the Three Wise Men who visited the stable in Bethlehem, and gave gifts to the baby Jesus, but few know that there was a FOURTH wise man that was turned away, as his gift was a standard Christmas fruitcake.

I know. I was agreeing. But the additional information of the linguistics tossed you into a tizzy.  The reponse from someone who is honest would be in the positive. I don't know why you are offended. But then again maybe I do?
"All the peoples of the earth will have to see that Jehovah’s name has been called upon you, and they will be afraid of you." (Deuteronomy 28:10)

    Then I don't see an equitable point to your argument if you are not willing to subject God's proper name from its original language. I also made a reference to LATIN, which you have not acknowledged. The presumption you are riding on is, not seeing that I'm referencing the proper use of God's personal name from the old style to the new style. Jehovah under the linguistic understanding is the MOST appropriate form, rather than YHWH or Yahweh, for modern usage;
Jehovah Witnesses don't have a monopoly on God's name. From the original "pictograph" the Shepherds staff (J) should have stayed.
Everyone here seems to demand quarrels. This is problematic for a civil discussion. Once again, my intent was not to make this quarrelsome.

IF THE child of God would draw very near, and would have the blessed realization of the Father's smile of approval continually, he must seek to have a conscience void of offense toward God and toward men—a conscience which can truthfully say, I am striving to do that which would be pleasing to the Lord, that which is in full harmony with my covenant of sacrifice; and I am striving also to do that which would justly have the approval of righteous men.

Friend, I have no idea what your problem is, please don't make whatever allies you're life, be part of mine. I wish no ill will against anyone. If you are a Christian, you need to work on your bitterness, and rudeness. If you are a Jehovah Witness, you bring shame upon your own organization. Is this your intent?

If I was to defend you in a court of law, would this mean a "personal" experience or empathy for others that have been subjected to a crime. You are correct, Any wrongdoer needs to go before the courts. Can you personally prove in a court of law, those subjected to harm which you have empathy for, can be demonstrated by actual and legal evidence? Referencing internet banter is not evidence.
Then you would have to accept, since your request is being met, there is no slander or wrongdoing, and that institution is correctly applying the UK data protection policy. Just like, when a person gets fired from a job, slander cannot be attached to how an institution deals with its internal decisions. An Active religious member can be dismissed for none compliance of that institution's bylaws.
Can you personally prove CSA in a court of law in your behalf, and is that evidence under your care? However, I do not see where a legal proceeding would be inclined to hear "failed predictions" as evidence to CSA. Once again, do you have direct knowledge, this institution willfully withheld evidence in your case? Do you possess this evidence?
If you don't, this is the type of argument that can be levied against you.
This is painful to read friend. I hope your anger will not make this a true outcome.

You seem to be coming at this from multiple directions..........
"emotional attachment " ?    I would call it empathy, due to having suffered similar (xero will now say I'm whining).
"That makes their behavior a judgment for the courts"  Yes
"not a true Christian."   That depends who commits the abuse and where.
"How can any institution be blamed by the actions of another, worldly or not? "  Maybe not blamed for the actions, but blamed for their reactions. But you do not put it in any context, so your question is too 'open'.
If the 'institution' is the JW Org, and if it deliberately hides CSA whilst at the same time pretending to be God's chosen Org, then warning should be given to the public about the dangers lurking within the JW Org. As an Ex-JW I feel it my Christian duty to warn people about the JW Org. Why ? Because i have knowledge of the workings of JWs and how they can manipulate people to gain people's trust. I have knowledge of the JW Org and the scaremongering it does in an effort to bring people into that Org... I do not have such knowledge about any other religion.......
You seem to be aproaching this point from a wrong angle too.
The UK Data Protection Act gives me legal right to request my personal information. I have done this. My request has been accepted. They asked me for photo ID. I have sent them this ID. They are 'dealing with' my request.
My original application for the information had to be answered within 40 days. That did so. All is going well on this. I am yet to see the outcome, but will make it known once i have a result.
I have a legal (Data Protection) right to personal information about me.  If I required any other information I would need to use the 'Freedom of Information Act' UK.
Please give me three examples of slander by me against the JW org. Three, repetition for emphasis remember.
You, and others, may disapprove of my comments, but that does not make my comments slander.
CSA within the JW Org has been proven many times. Failed predictions in the Watchtower/JW org have been proven many times too.  The GB / Lawyers refusing to hand over a Database of CSA/Pedophile accusations is a way of hiding Pedophiles within the JW Org.
I have said many times that i do not expect to remain alive after the Judgement time, and if i die before, I do not expect a resurrection. My sins are many. BUT, my sins are commited against me. I bring judgement on myself, BUT I do not harm others. The Watchtower / JW Org cannot claim as much.

Oh dear poor poor Rambo. it's YHWH in English letters rambo.
NO 'J' and NO 'V'  there.  Yahweh maybe. Yehowah maybe.  but NOT Jehovah.
Yes if you wanted to be really close to someone you would indeed love to know their REAL NAME.
But you would not use a false name instead.

Cheapest on ebay UK is 46 GBP and that might be an old one.  To read the words of an Ex JW.    I think there is enough info' on here and in the news.
If it were 10 GBP I might be interested but I haven't even read Josephus or 'The Early Church' yet.

    God's Sacred and Holy Name...
Beautiful isn't it? How do you react when seeing God's Sacred and Holy Name? Are you overcome with a wondrous and overwhelming awe? If you were to enter into a Personal Relationship with someone whom you deemed special or important, what is the first thing you would want to know about that Person? What is Your Name?
Think about it, how well could you build a personal and intimate relationship with someone if you don't even know their name? The Bible states, "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you indecisive ones." (James 4:8) Notice it requires action on your part, first? The Bible is like a mirror, it reflects your thoughts and inner person, the person you really are. "For the word of God is alive and exerts power and is sharper than any two-edged sword and pierces even to the dividing of soul and spirit, and of joints from the marrow, and is able to discern thoughts and intentions of the heart." (Hebrews 4:12)
Question: If you met someone you really like, and I mean you really want to get to know this person, the first thing you want to know is their name. The second thing you want them to know is Your Name. Right? Suppose that person doesn't care to want to know your name at all? How would you Feel? If you don't care to learn about Jehovah, then why should he care about you? But he does care about you, more than you can ever imagine. Stop hurting him.
The proof that you do care, is that you are reading this article right now. Researching the Bible, reading the articles, learning, and yes, drawing closer to God. It's a process. Jesus Christ told his followers, "No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him, and I will resurrect him on the last day." (John 6:44) Jehovah sent his only begotten Son for you, even before you knew about God's Precious Name. "For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
Jehovah Witnesses are proud to bear the Name of the true God, JEHOVAH. "Symʹe·on has related thoroughly how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name." (Acts 15:14) “"I am the One who declared and saved and made known When there was no foreign god among you. So you are my witnesses, declares Jehovah, and I am God." (Isaiah 43:12)
Slandering or belittling God's Sacred and Holy Name can be bring certain death for the abuser. "So the abuser of Jehovah’s name should be put to death without fail. The entire assembly should stone him without fail. The foreign resident should be put to death the same as the native for his abusing the Name." (Leviticus 24:16)
Here's where it really pays to study. Satan is tricky, he tries to get people from using God's Name altogether. How? By removing God's Sacred and Holy Name from the Bible. This act of not using God's Name is a grave and serious sin, a willful act. "They intend to make my people forget my name by the dreams they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot my name because of Baʹal." (Jeremiah 23:27) The Hebrew word used in taking God's Name in vain can also mean 'emptiness' or 'void' as in making worthless, belittling, or something of little value or treat as ordinary.
Rather, God's Name is a Protection. "The name of Jehovah is a strong tower. Into it the righteous one runs and receives protection." (Proverbs 18:10) "At that time those who fear Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion, and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening. And a book of remembrance was written before him for those fearing Jehovah and for those meditating on his name." (Malachi 3:16)
"During his life on earth, Christ offered up supplications and also petitions, with strong outcries and tears, to the One who was able to save him out of death, and he was favorably heard for his godly fear." (Hebrews 5:7)

I thought of you when reading about this book, with the newest copy now available. I plan to buy it, and noticed it has your date on the cover, 2034.  You might be interested in reading it also, since it is about the history of the organization and its leadership.   What I noticed is the author's use of the word, "deceit" describing the organization as a whole.  We know that Jesus warned of false prophets/teachers in the last days that would deceive the "elect", the chosen priests of God. ( Matt.24:10,11; 1 Tim.4:1; Matt 7:15-20; Mark 13:5) Every date on the cover of this book misled the people who put trust in it.  And that is only a handful of dates that your organization projected with promise.  They are lies.  Shouldn't we question the honesty of those who tell such lies?  (John 8:44)
We know that an organization was predicted to "make war" with God's holy peopled through the use of deceit. (Rev 13:5-7)  It is directed by false prophets who expect allegiance to the their "spirit-directed organization".  (Rev 13:4,11,12,15,16; 19:20)
The aspects of war happens when one is taken captive by empty philosophy - deceit.  (Ezek 22:23-29; Acts 20:29-31; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10)  It continues when one rejects the deceit and speaks out against it. And then, that person is disfellowshipped - considered spiritually  dead.  (Rev 13:15;11:1-3,7)  Jesus said those who are excommunicated from the "synagogues"/congregations, don't know the Father and the Son. (John 16:1-3)  So you see, you are stuck, totally immobile on a word created by men, and how it sounds - "Jehovah".  And for that, you feel anyone who doesn't use it, who doesn't verbalize it, is to be destroyed.  That is not how God or Christ judges people.  He judges them on the truth in His Word. (John 17:17)   If one truly knew God and His Son, would he dare follow in the footsteps of leaders who have a history of false predictions?
False prophets, men who set dates for the destruction of the world, have much to answer for, when Christ returns.  (Matt 7:26; 12:37)  I am not your judge, as you appear to be mine.  I only hope that you wake up and realize the error of your way, before Christ returns.  (Jer 17:10; Joel 3:12; James 4:12)
