Patiently waiting for Truth reacted to Witness in "THEY WORSHIP ME IN VAIN, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE COMMANDMENTS OF MEN"
Quote from the 2016/1/24 Wt. magazine, pp. 22-27:
“In addition, anointed Christians do not view themselves as being part of an elite club. They do not seek out others who claim to have the same calling, hoping to bond with them or endeavoring to form private groups for Bible study. (Gal 1:15-17) Such efforts would cause divisions within the congregation and work against the holy spirit, which promotes peace and unity.”  Wt 16/1/24, pp. 22-27
The above is a sarcastic example of spiritual, emotional and mental abuse used to devour the anointed in the organization. (Ps 73:8; Ezek 36:6,7; Isa 3:12-15;  Zeph 2:8; Dan 11:31,36; Rev 9:1-4; 13:5-7)
Their use of Gal 1:15-17, is quite hypocritical, since it is required that the “preaching work” by JWs follow the strict mandate of the governing body and their army of elders, who “bond” together, and who consult with one another, several times weekly. (Rev 2:20; 13:11,12,16,17)  These scriptures actually help prove that there was not an organization with a governing body in the first century, that Paul felt he had to answer to.
Paul; a prophet, a teacher, a leader, a priest. was sent by Christ to instruct those called as priests out of the Jewish and Gentiles nations, of their spiritual obligation to one another in the house of God. (Acts 9:15; Rom 15:14-19; Eph 3:6,8)  He, with Jesus Christ and all of the apostles, laid the foundation of truth – a foundation built with faithful “living stones” of God’s anointed priesthood.   (1 Pet 2:4-10; 1 Cor 3:10; Eph 2:20-22)

     Ephesians chapter 4:
“Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
12 to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13 until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
14 Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
    1 Corinthians chapter 12:
“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. 14 Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 22 On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty, 24 while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, 25 so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. 26 If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
Incredibly, God’s word completely contradicts the words of the magazine.  What hold more weight in the mind of a JW, the doctrine of men who cannot tolerate any threat to their rule, or the words of God?
“Anyone who does not remain in Christ’s teaching but goes beyond it does not have God. The one who remains in that teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home, and do not greet him; 11 for the one who greets him shares in his evil works.”  1 John 2:9-11
We are in the middle of a war of words, spoken by the sons of the kingdom, and sons of the wicked one. (Joel 3:14; Mal 3:18; Matt 13:38-43)  Lies promoted by false teachers/prophets harbor the demonic intent to “deceive the elect”. (Matt 24:24,25; Col 2:8; 1 Tim 4:1; Rev 9:13:10, 5-7)
This war against the “saints” is “inhouse”, not on the political battlefield of the world. (Luke 17:20) It is where a great army of “Gentile” elders have overcome a spiritual people – God’s priests of “Israel” -  with a “flood” of lies.  (Matt 24:15,16; 2 Thess 2:1-4; Rev 11:1,2;1 Cor 3:16;17; Rev 12:15; 16:13-16)
How many times as a JW did we hear…
“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”  1 Pet 5:8
He seeks to trample and devour the “kings of the earth”, (Rev 1:5; 16:14; 20:7-9) and although the anointed believe Satan is in the wicked world outside of the organization, outside of their “spiritual paradise” and “peace and security” (1 Thess 5:3),  Proverbs gives us a better perspective.
The lazy person claims, “There is a lion in the road!
There’s a lion in the streets!”
14 The door turns on its hinges—
as does the lazy person on his bed.    Prov 26:13,14

Anointed "Priests" and prophets must warn people according to God's truth...for their protection, awareness, and vigilance to present danger (Jer 28:8; Ezek 3:4,18; Mal 2:7; Dan 12:3,10; Matt 24:45).

    The war is not over yet! (Rev 12:17; Eph 6:12; 2 Cor 2:9; 11:3; 10:4-6; Matt 24:13,11,10; 10:22; Luke 13:24)
Any "walls" erected by men, to keep Satan out are an illusion...as long as he still dominates the world (1 John 5:19; Eph 5:15,16). Our only true protection is the meaning of YHWH's name (Prov 18:10) which is that HE is our only saviour (Isa 43:11; 2:22; Rev 14:7; Ps 146:3; 118:8).
We must have faith and trust in HIM and the truth of His Word, (not the doctrines of a human organization -Jer 17:5; 1 John 4:1; Mark 7:7,8), in order to possess a realistic spiritual shield (Eph 6:13,16).
The anointed are not protected from Satan's machinations by means of a membership in an organization, nor by obedience to it. (Rev 12:17; Luke 22:31; Rom 6:16; 1 Cor 7:23)

To twist it like that and use those words!  ....... wow!   If you do interfaith or live a debauched life then you have automatically put yourself out of the congregation and do not receive holy spirit; and angels will not assist you any longer.  God and his organization do not mix with unrepentant people who willfully continue to break his principles! It depends on how long you have done so!
It is very few people who leave who have not broken some bible principles...... even if it boils down to a very stinky attitude!

Wow 2055 another 'date'. What happened to 2034 ? Oh yes it's still in there somewhere.
    but you've just said
The Watchtower (society) and JW Org / CCJW are only human organizations.
Wake up Billy, you are just part of a human organsation. An org that will not exist at Armageddon.
Russia has given an example of what it can do to the Watchtower / JW Org. Do you not think that the American government will desroy Warwick and Ramapo at some time ?????
You need a building to give you faith ?  No billy it goes much deeper than that.
You use this scripture but so could any other so called Christian religion. Because the sexual immorality inside JW Org has been proven and is still being proven. And serving the GB and the Watchtower Soc' / JW Org proves idolatry of JWs. And as for lying, so much proof has been given in courtrooms about Elders lying. And it seems clear that the GB continue to lie about the CSA database.
Yes they will. But they will not be JWs at that time.
Billy, Every word you have written in your comment above can be used against you and against the JW Org.

This makes no sense, but then that is the JW way of things.
I was a baptised JW for many years. Many years of ministry which I enjoyed at the time.
And they must have been sure I was a JW when they used me to say a prayer at a special meeting concerning a brother that had been murdered in our local Kingdom Hall.
So yes I was definitely a JW and I'm not ashamed of those years.
However it seems to be you JWs that are showing your bitter, cold hearted side now.

Rambo / Billy the Kid / and whatever other AKA's, you are sooooo funny.
You see rambo you have let yourself down again by all this dribble. You write serious stuff then you write dribble.
YHWH remember rambo. That is what we have, YHWH.  We do not have a J in it or a V in it. YHWH.
YHWH is Almighty God's name. Because that name is so important, then those letters are also so important.
Changing the letters changes the name rambo.  That is the insult to Almighty God.
You believe the name Jehovah only because other MEN have told you to believe it.

2055.... the point of no return.
This 'timed event' represents the end of the system of things as we know it. The end of man-made societies, financial institutions, and finally, the dissolving of earthly governments. (Daniel 2:44) Say good-bye to your pension funds and retirement accounts. Even the gold and silver that was saved for bread and food will become something worthless. The Divine Warning has been given. "As for you, son of man, this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.... And you will have to know that I am Jehovah." (Ezekiel 7:2-4) This will not be the time to preach the 'good news of the Kingdom.' That time will have passed. The time for 'the end' will have come! (Matt. 24:14) Those @ (2 Timothy 3:1-5) will have been abandoned.   "Outside are the dogs and those who practice spiritism and those who are sexually immoral and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices lying. (Rev 22:15)   No need to buy insurance because insurance companies will no longer exist. The World Economy will have collapsed and its supporters will be forced to take on the mark of the beast to stay alive, but they will only buy a few anguishing moments of an everlasting death. " Look, the day! Look, it is coming! Your turn has come; the rod has blossomed and presumptuousness has sprouted. Violence has grown into a rod of wickedness. Neither they nor their wealth nor their crowds nor their prominence will survive. The time will come, the day will arrive. Let the buyer not rejoice, and let the seller not mourn, for there is wrath against their whole crowd. For the seller will not return to what was sold, even if his life is spared, for the vision is against the entire multitude. No one will return, and because of his error, no one will preserve his life. They have blown the trumpet, and everyone is ready, but no one is going to the battle, because my wrath is against the whole multitude. The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine are inside. Whoever is in the field will die by the sword, and famine and pestilence will consume those in the city. Their survivors who manage to escape will go to the mountains, and like the doves of the valleys, each one will moan over his error. All their hands will hang limp, and all their knees will drip with water. They have put on sackcloth, and shuddering has seized them. Everyone will be put to shame, and every head will be bald. They will throw their silver into the streets, and their gold will become abhorrent to them. Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to save them in the day of Jehovah’s fury. They will not be satisfied, nor will they fill their stomachs, for it has become a stumbling block causing their error." (Ezekiel 7:10-19)   "Then the kings of the earth, the high officials, the military commanders, the rich, the strong, every slave, and every free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they keep saying to the mountains and to the rocks: “Fall over us and hide us from the face of the One seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,  because the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” (Rev 6:15-17)   So what are the mountains and the rocks that the animalistic crowd wants to hide inside of in order to escape the impending destruction? The majority of mankind will seek refuge in human organizations, societies, financial institutions, and academia, that are likened to “the rocks of the mountains. To remain faithful, will we be willing to experience material loss? Will we be ready to do whatever is required of us to prove our loyalty to Jehovah? Just think! At that time, we will be the only ones following the example of the ancient prophet Daniel by continuing to worship our God no matter what.—Dan. 6:10, 11. Remember the account of Daniel in Babylon. Stay faithful to the end! The Truth... it's coming and you can't stop it!   No doubt, God’s people will proclaim a hard-hitting judgment message. This may well involve a declaration announcing that Satan’s wicked world is about to come to its complete end. The Bible likens this message to hailstones when it says: “Great hailstones, each about the weight of a talent, fell from heaven on the people, and the people blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, for the plague was unusually great.”—Rev. 16:21.   Spiritually speaking, God’s people will stand out as unique, “in the center of the earth,” as it were. This will be too much for the nations. Jesus states in his prophecy about the conclusion of this system of things: “There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and its agitation. People will become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.” (Luke 21:25-27) And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." (Matthew 24:30)   The ones lamenting or expressing grief are in the process of dying the second death of an everlasting destruction. They witness that Jehovah's people are) protected and have plenty to eat, even those who were imprisoned. Jehovah in the past has fed his people by the means of animals and angels. Jesus by the aid of holy spirit fed thousands with a few loafs and fish and with a little instruction, taught his followers to catch a multitude of fish when there were seemingly none to catch. Knowing about 2055 doesn't give you special protection. It's the faith you exercise beforehand by going to the Kingdom Hall while we still have them and then staying faithful after we don't. Jehovah, the God of gods and Revealer of secrets will extend his undeserved kindness towards you, but YOU need to act. (Daniel 2:47) Get the Answers you Deserve to keep on living into Christ's Millennial Reign... JW.org   The weeds of apostate christians who have left our brother will have all died the death befroe 2055.   lamentation [ lam-uh n-tey-shuh n ] noun: the act of lamenting or expressing grief. Armageddon starts off in a Spiritual Matter then ends in a Physical Matter once the 1,000 years come their end when Jesus hands the Kingdom back to his Father. "They will dwell on it in security and build houses and plant vineyards, and they will dwell in security when I execute judgment on all those around them who treat them with scorn; and they will have to know that I am Jehovah their God." I agree with you on this. If videos are aimed at me then the commenter has wasted their time as I don't watch the videos.
If a person cannot be bothered to put their thoughts into their own words then why should I bother to take note of a video.
CSA = yes... Butler = yes.    warp your judgement = possibly but not mine
Empathy, concern, love, worry, for others, yes. But to me that is the Christian way.
Expectations of something better from an Organisation that says it is the only true way of serving God.
Just watching MSN news online is depressingly upsetting. So many countries, so many promlems, so much suffering and death. Yes it proves that we need God / Christ to interviene soon.
American ? I'll have to look into this one. It means nothing to an Englishman.
You are entitled to your opinion that the GB are 'being used in extraodinary ways'. But the question is then, who is the GB being used by ?
Quote "but I don't look at them as being in control because I don't believe they are."... So who authorises the 'Shepherding the Flock' book then ?  That is the rule book from the GB. Who writes the rules for baptism, the many many questions ?  Who decides what is a disfellowshipping offence and what is just a reproval ?  Who gives appoval for  the ministry slips / reports ?  Who decided that the Kingdom Halls no longer belong to the congregations ? Who decided that all money be certralised and that Kingdom Hall Congregations would not keep their own money ?
And who is deciding not to release the full database of CSA accusations to the ' Superior Authorites ?
The GB has total control. That is why they are called the Governing Body, because they govern / rule over the whole congregation earthwide.

Russia’s Top Court Bans Prosecuting Jehovah’s Witnesses for Group Prayer
Nov. 17, 2021 MT Russia’s Supreme Court has banned the criminal prosecution of Jehovah’s Witnesses for joint worship, potentially putting an end to the law enforcement practice of jailing believers for prayer sessions.
The ruling could also affect the 152 convictions that have not yet entered into force or are being appealed, the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia organization said in a statement on its website Tuesday.
news A Russian Jehovah’s Witness Vows to Keep Worshipping Despite Crackdown
Read more Russia outlawed the nonconformist Christian denomination as “extremist” in 2017 and has since subjected thousands of worshippers to police raids, harassment and up to eight years of imprisonment.
Russia’s Supreme Court binds law enforcement authorities to provide concrete evidence for the worshippers’ “criminal intent,” “extremist motives” and “prior collusion” — justifications for criminal prosecution that have been criticized as arbitrary.
The organization said the ruling poses “new challenges” for authorities to open criminal cases, search residences or “detain a person simply because he or she professes the religion of Jehovah’s Witnesses or meets with another at a worship service.”
“Investigators will now have to justify the wording often used in indictment papers against Jehovah’s Witnesses,” it said.
The Supreme Court’s plenum ruled that joint prayers among members of banned religious organizations “consisting exclusively in the exercise of their right to freedom of conscience and freedom of religion, including through individual or joint profession of religion… do not contain elements of extremism.”
The Jehovah’s Witnesses in Russia noted that the country’s courts are under the obligation to “consider” the Supreme Court ruling when considering appeals.
The group said it “eagerly anticipates” how the Oct. 28 Supreme Court plenum ruling will affect the release of its members currently held in custody.
In its original 2017 “extremist” ruling, the Russian Supreme Court accused the Jehovah’s Witnesses of “propaganda of exclusivity” and signs of violating public safety.
The Soviet Union had exiled thousands of Jehovah’s Witnesses, known for door-to-door preaching and an alternative interpretation of the Bible, to Siberia for anti-communist activities and their refusal to serve in the military.

On the other hand I read in Scott Adams' book "Loser Think" that thinking you can read the minds of people is loser think. I try not to do that. I don't hate people I don't know and hate never met. Nor do I (beyond the bloodless agape) "love" people I've never met. I feel good about the brotherhood and I've had this confirmed where ever I've traveled. I don't know the governing body personally, as individuals, but I have respect for them, but at the same time, I recognize they are ordinary humans being used in extraordinary ways, but I don't look at them as being in control because I don't believe they are. If some imagine that, it's their problem, not mine, but I also don't know if any do imagine that. The bible tells me to stare intently at the chief agent and perfecter of my faith, which is Jesus and this is what I try to do. Those who look away at people or the people Jehovah uses whether these be sacred or secular authorities, the scriptures still make clear what our individual responsibilities are and we act wisely when we focus on these things under our control rather than on the past, or what we imagine the past to be, or the future which is also not ours to foretell or control. All we have is now and whether we choose to believe and obey Jehovah when he tells us "This is my Son, listen to him." or not. I think we might all feel a bit more peace if we did these this.
But...we're all going to miss the mark, including me and that's to be expected too. Just keep getting up and trying again.

My initial response is to begrudge any video inserted in a comment. It’s generational, ‘talkin bout my generation,’ and doesn’t apply to younger people, who are used to them.
I ask, How much time is demanded? 2 minutes? or 2 hours? I have to click to find out. At least when JWI lays 30 pages on you, there they are. You can see at a glance that they are thirty pages.
Assuming I get past this, then I must hunt up a set of headphones unless alone, for fear others in the house may not want to hear the unknown stuff, as I myself am not sure I want to hear it.
Anyhow—at last I watched this video from College Humor, which I like a lot. But it is not really PSomH. The ding dong in the video has had nothing happen to her but identifies with calamity nonetheless. PSomH has had plenty of CSA calamity (before he became a JW, and assuming he is Butler, as many have said). Xero might not know this, as Butler revealed this long ago. Some experiences are so horrific that they warp your judgment forever more.

Yes. A person can resign from our organization in two ways:
By formal request. Either orally or in writing, a person can state his decision that he no longer wants to be known as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
By action. A person can take an action that places him outside our worldwide brotherhood. (1 Peter 5:9) For example, he might join another religion and make known his intention to remain part of it.—1 John 2:19.
But be careful because Elders will still pretend you were disfellowshipped

What if a person no longer preaches or attends your meetings? Do you view that person as having resigned?
No, we do not. Resigning, or disassociating oneself, is different from becoming weak in faith. Often, those who for a time slow down or stop in their worship have not abandoned their faith but are suffering from discouragement. Rather than shunning such ones, we try to give them consolation and support. (1 Thessalonians 5:14; Jude 22) If the person wants help, congregation elders take the lead in providing spiritual assistance.—Galatians 6:1; 1 Peter 5:1-3.
However, the elders are not authorized to coerce or pressure someone to remain as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Each person makes his own choice regarding religion. (Joshua 24:15) We believe that those who worship God must do so willingly, from the heart.—Psalm 110:3; Matthew 22:37.

Patiently waiting for Truth got a reaction from Dmitar in Can a Person Resign From Being One of Jehovah’s Witnesses?
    https://www.jw.org/en/jehovahs-witnesses/faq/resign/

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The body of a man wanted by San Diego authorities on multiple counts of sexual assault on a child was found in South Carolina.
According to U.S. Marshals, the decomposing body of Frederick Cecil McLean was discovered on November 6 by a neighbor in Seneca, South Carolina.
Authorities said McLean was one of America’s 15 most wanted fugitives. He had been on the run for more than 16 years.
U.S. Marshals said he had been molesting young females for about 25 years with at least eight victims.
He was a Jehovah's Witness and would target people met at church.

It's like @Witness said we don't keep reminding ourselves, but it's all over the news constantly.
JW organisation is like a white washed grave, full of disgusting things.
If he had been on the run that long, then CSA was obvioulsy being dealt with by the Law. So why didn't someone give details of his location to the Police.

Patiently waiting for Truth reacted to Witness in JW{.}ORG Is No Longer a Publishing Company. ( I never thought I'd see the day. ) Is this really so?..
"Theocratic organization" - a "publishing company"
    "Theocratic Studios" - a  "multimedia...broadcasting center"
Never mind, they are still peddling the "word of God".
"You see, we are not like the many hucksters who preach for personal profit. We preach the word of God with sincerity and with Christ’s authority, knowing that God is watching us."  2 Cor 2:17

Well, kind of. 🥺 I replied to her by saying, "so the Organization is a multimedia..." and before I could say anything else, ( pluss I've been trained to stop talking out of respect and/or reverence when other people begin to speak. ) she spoke out the word, "yes," quite emphatically.
So what exactly comes after or before the word multimedia, I'm really not sure.
If anything, knowing that they will more than likely not be leaving the name as simply the word "multimedia," I'm just going to guess here, but I would imagine that they would be adding to that by giving it some kind of, Theocratic Studios something or another kind of name.

What an admittance.  Did she follow that up with any news of what "they" are today?

So I was talking with my mother on the phone two nights ago, ( on November 17th 2021 ) who is in her mid 70's, baptized in 1963 when she was 21 year's old and pregnant with me. She's is still a very faithful believing ZOOM watching Jehovah's Witness, and pluss my sister is married to an elder, and then she make the statement to me that, "We Are No Longer a Publishing Company."
Although I was born in and raised within the JW culture, I was never baptized, so her conscience allows her to still be in touch with me and therefore still speaks with me.
Has anyone else here heard of this from a JW, a JWBroadcast, read this in any of the JW literature, or by any other JW official source?
