This is not just going to go away. It has to be dealt with. Hopefully the GB will be brought to account.
BUT I keep coming back with the question 'What has happened to the 25 year CSA / Pedophile database in the USA ?
And then what happened to the CSA situation in Canada ? 
Here in England it seems a lot of news from the USA is blocked, 'for legal reasons'. 
 
 

I have to agree that this does make sense. Though I would think there are cases where people have a right to have an attitude if they've been incorrectly dealt with.  I must admit that the Elders, in more than one congregation, were 'on my back' about some things, but I was never D/fed. 
Please be balanced enough to accept that some of us leave because of the immorality within the JW Org. I make it clear that I left because of the CSA earthwide in the Org, and because of the dishonest way it was being dealt with.  I felt that the Org was not a safe place to invite families into. I have since found other reasons not to return, but i have not gone looking for an alternative 'Christian' way, nor have I turned my back on God or Christ. Please think again on those last few words of your sentence above. Who was that tolerated pedophile Elders and M/s in congregations of JWs ? 
This is now an important issue to me. I could not hand out Watchtower magazines or books from the GB / Org if I did not agree with the things written inside them. 
 
I'd love to see that in a Bible study. Telling a student to read a paragraph from the book, and then saying, 'well actually you don't have to believe that because it's only what the GB write. it might not be true'

I do get that some people hold the organization responsible for whatever was going on w/CSA or other stuff and they leave their local congregation because they feel that the local congregation should have risen up against the main organization. 
I just know that locally, where I am and where I've been, things like this didn't happen on my watch and I'll have to be frank about it when I say that just like people who are privy to materials presented to them in a grand jury, I haven't been presented with information which damns the organization as others imagine it has (am I responsible for everything others do?)
I suspect many have never read the hebrew scriptures and been honest w/themselves as to how they would have handled the crappy behavior of many Jehovah was using. They imagine they would have stayed, but we don't know. Face it ten tribes split w/Judah and Benjamin remaining when Solomon and his son turned into jerks. That didn't ultimately go well w/them.
Sure today you have people who are pretty much into what I call idolatrous worship of the GB, but these people are the same kinds you see in the world who want to push a theocratic sharia onto everyone, but these ultimately get dealt with because that's not in line w/Jehovah's spirit and I see that these get tripped up.
Some who thought I was out of control have gotten DF'ed for various things after they were heavy on others. I believe you just deal w/the discipline you get, try not to stir things up, realize there are opinionated people who want to push their way onto others, but you just keep following scripture and nodding your head when you get what you feel is "great scripture, brother! just doesn't apply to me here, but thanks so much for giving me the nudge" from anyone who feels you need some counsel.
As to telling people the truth about the organization, I'd just explain why I'm where I am and why I'm doing what I'm doing. People will judge according to how they want to judge. It doesn't matter to me if they listen or don't listen. At this point I feel it's all a spiritual exercise that I'm benefitting from and if I get potshots taken at me, fine, take them. Granted I don't go out of my way to antagonize anyone outside or inside, but I never tell people to believe anything I don't and can't back up with scripture alone.
Being frank w/people is easy, feels good and when you get bothered occasionally by someone who thinks you're going astray by not insisting that people believe everything they read in the latest publication you just deal with it. You do more good long term in my view by staying and keeping your cool and taking punches and keeping your integrity with your own conscience than leaving, but I DO understand why some have left and so do many who haven't.

What is the first event that you see happening?  An announcement is made that the “day of the Lord as arrived”.  Who announces it?  Someone “alleged to be from us” – from an anointed one, or one who claims to be anointed… or, a “false apostle”. Matt 24:24,25; 2 Cor 11:13; Rev 2:2 
Who do you know in the world – either in politics or religion -  that has made an announcement that the “day of the Lord has arrived”?  The only leaders that I know who have made such a statement, are the leaders of your organization!

“The Lord’s day” began in 1914, according to whom?  According to your leaders who claim to be part of “Israel”, or those who claim that they are part of the Body of Christ.  This is the same thing as saying “the day of the Lord has arrived” – 2 Thess 2:3

#1 – the rebellion occurs by the “man of lawlessness”
#2 – he sets himself up in the Temple of God. And where are the Temple “living stones found”?  The “man of lawlessness” must exalt himself over those who are “sons of God” – “gods” – the anointed! 2 Thess 2:4; John 10:34,35  How will this happen in the world of other religions and politics?
#3 –“the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of his mouth, and wipe out by the appearance of his coming” - the arrival of the day of the Lord.  (2 Thess 2:8)
Who has done this? Who has set himself up in the Temple of God?  No one other than THE ELDER BODY - THOSE MEN WHO CLAIM CLERGY PENITENT PRIVELEGE IN THE COURT SYSTEMS!

So, where do you draw the line as to who are and who are not Christ's brothers ?  Or are you just a salesman for the GB's multi Org businesses ? 

Are you a politician ? You act like one. Sly persuasive words. 
Now how about the idea of 'taking down' anyone whom you see working against God's will ?
Such as the Leaders of the Watchtower / JW Org that are deliberately insulting God and Christ. 
Remember the Nation of Israel.  Remember Jerusalem. Remember it's destruction.

God’s Kingdom Quietly Removes Its Enemies since 1919.... Prophecies point to the 'timing' of the coming days as a Day of Vindication of Jehovah's Name. (Daniel 12:10)   As these time periods come and go, the wicked who have No Understanding will become more vile but the scripture promises,  'they will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain'. (Isaiah 65:25)  This scripture proves that there will come a point in time that Jehovah will not allow 'the wicked' to do harm or cause ruin in the coming paradise nor allow his Holy Name to be profaned.    Read more...

I have often pondered that Jehovah God had expressed a particular fondness for humans, and no stated preference for dogs.
Perhaps in the New System, after the thousand year training and final exam, or perhaps even sometime before that (?) and "New Scrolls" are opened, perhaps we will learn that there is a plan, and perhaps has always been a plan, for a "Rainbow Bridge", where we wait for our Guardians to be resurrected, and be with us once again.
Like so many things discussed here .... the CORRECT answer is "I don't know."
It seems like a hint is that Jehovah knows our Guardians' limitations, and seems to have tolerated a tremendous amount of grievous error of his "Organization" back in the era of King David, et al.

Think of all the many thousands of Jews that fought in Jehovah's sanctioned and approved wars, who EVEN THOUGH JEHOVAH WAS WITH THEM ... they were slaughtered on the battlefields of those times. Jehovah COULD have preserved and protected each one of them, but he did not.
Why Not?
ANSWER: Because "Stuff Happens".

"taking down" = weeding - Jesus said that wasn't your job.
As for turning away and how one does this and to whom is everyone's responsibility. If you've judged then you have to deal w/the judgement you've made. Clearly not everyone JW or non-JW agrees w/you, but it's your prerogative and your responsibility. Whether it's a better use of your time to turn people towards something or away from something is your prerogative and responsibility as well.

If I may remark, it would then mean that GB should stop calling ex-JW with expressions as; ex-JW are "apostates, enemies, poison" and the like. 
Also, JW members' "bible-trained consciences" would disregard the GB directive on how to treat former members.
What you mention is commendable. Generally speaking. Generally understood. Generally applicable. But apart from you a few who talk to us here and a few who do it with us personally where we live, it is an rare  exception to WTJWorg policy.

It's not Calvary church that we turn to for salvation, it's not the building. We go straight to and through Jesus for our salvation. Which is a stark contrast to this bold statement:

If you can tell the difference between good and bad advice, you don't need it, if you can't it doesn't matter because you'll just end up finding out anyway. There are times when you can end up in the right place following the wrong advice and times you can end up in the wrong place following the right advice and whether it's the wrong place or the right place or not depends on Jehovah.
There was the time King David (actually, before he was king) when he'd had it w/Saul making his life difficult so he left Israel to go fight as a mercenary for the Philistines. Now he'd always vowed to not lift his hand up (w/graffiti or otherwise) against the anointed of Jehovah, but maybe he's changed his mind because he's on his way to Mt. Gilboa w/the Philistines to fight Saul...but at Aphek he's stopped and sent home...now could be this southward movement of men might have looked like a flanking maneuver to the Israelite scouts and maybe this put them out of position so they weren't in time to defend the entrance to the Jezreel valley leading ultimately to Saul's death? Who knows? Jehovah could have used David in a way to both stop him from breaking his vow AND leading to Saul's death and ultimate replacement. That's all speculation, but could be that's what was going down.
Thing is, though David didn't fight against an arguably bad King because he was put there by Jehovah and Jehovah was going to have to take him out. In any case, Jehovah's will was done and we can likewise know it will be done today.
You just don't want to be the intentional instrument to take down anyone or any group whom you see doing God's will, not matter how defective you imagine them to be. We aren't authorized to trash the dragnet either any more than we're authorized to do some weeding, but we can weed ourselves and our own hearts and we should.

Some people must have a great electrolyte balance going that they don't get massive charley horses from their patting themselves on the back for doing what they want anyway. Seriously. God exists, his name really is Jehovah and at some point in time he'll intervene in human affairs and straighten it all out.
In the mean-time instead of spending time filling in the gaps of bible-knowlege or figuring out how to get possession of their own vessel in sanctification and honor people spend their time spraying anti-JW graffiti on whatever surface they can find.
It's boring, repetitive and in the end a galactic waste of time. People that want to leave will find a reason to leave and those who remain will likewise and Jehovah is the judge of both.
Main thing anyone should do is make sure they're following their bible-trained consciences.

I have just been commenting on a Facebook topic and I made a point of stating that one reason people have lost faith in God is because the JWs have been working against God by their making false predictions for Armageddon. 
Can you imagine how many people will have been turned away from God by the stumbling blocks of the Watchtower / JW org ???????? The guilt that the Watchtower / JW Org and GB must carry for all their lies and false prophecies. 

Using this as an excuse for CSA and hiding Pedophiles doesn't work. You can pretend it's 'slander and distorted facts' if it gives you a better conscience, BUT the truth is out there for all to see.
