    Methinks if it had been a better joke, it would have been entirely acceptable, a momentary pause for a smile or a chuckle, brightening the day, and certainly not a cause for confusion or discouragement. It was not a bad joke, especially if you grew up like we did when the Catholics who we grew up with would not eat meat on Friday, but would eat fish, fish being a swimming vegetable.

    Understanding the “Sign of the Son of Man”, to me is an optional bonus, akin to knowing that Mr Ed the talking horse’s real name was Bamboo Harvester …. A fascinating piece of trivia that if you know about it or you do not …. It’s all the same …. Because there is absolutely NOTHING anyone can do about it ….. either way. The same as knowing about the “Shirt of the Son of Kool Aide”.

    Do you actually know the difference between an apostate and a heretic? There is a very real difference and I’m afraid the term apostate is bandied about much too often, here and elsewhere.

    I have tried to keep up with all of the above considerations, and giving it some thought makes my head hurt, especially about the seven headed beast. For years I had trouble understanding about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. (… or is it Dwarves? ….)

    I think I shall run an experiment. I am going to leave the “Open Club” for about 45 days, and when I come back review how Wally McNasty has been getting along with the folks here. I may even drop in every day to monitor the experiment, and I do get emails automatically, as you do, every time someone makes a comment. I suspect Wally will be overjoyed, and I regret I may not see it when he implodes, or drowns in his own spittle. Let’s see ….. um …. First week in August.

    The Genesis account of the creation of the Earth is not taken from a viewpoint in outer space, the entire account is taken from the viewpoint of a person standing on the ground looking at events. What he sees from the ground is what is recorded. Go to Genesis again and re-read it keeping that idea in perspective firmly in mind, and it makes a lot more sense with what we know happened from solid evidence.

And I did notice you completely diverted from directly answering the two very simple questions I asked you, by changing the subject.

    I don’t presume to answer for Arauna or anyone else, Wally, but by whatever name you have assumed as camouflage over the years you have always been the exact same insulting, denigrating bully, always trying to exalt yourself by putting others down. No one here is defending me for real or imagined sins, it’s just that they are not jumping onto the “Let’s Have A Witch Hunt Wally Bandwagon”. You have excused your observable nastiness by saying (paraphrased) “What would visitors to this site think ? …” about my presence here. They may observe directly that you are angry, belligerent, a liar and a slanderer (proven here by your own words), you call fine people here fools, stupid, and ignorant, and tell them to shut up when they don’t agree with you, and on and on and on. By direct observation you have shown you are incapable of having a civil conversation without trying to put someone down, for your own aggrandizement. You are entitled to your viewpoints, whether they be valid, or loony tunes, but you are NOT entitled to be mean, nasty and insulting, as everyone here has continually and directly observed. Please correct me if anything I have said is wrong, or unfair. To be taken seriously, be SPECIFIC (or “SPRESIFIC”, if you prefer …).
