Same thing with the Japanese Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant disaster, when the offshore earthquake swamped the plant with a tsunami.
The area has made a remarkable recovery.

Well I understand the difference that WTJWorg presents. By the 1st century some people could be “inspired” by God. After the 1st century, no one is “inspired” anymore. 
This is what WTJWorg teach. Today GB say how they and no single JW are "inspired" but only "guided". 
I have nothing to believe or disbelieve. WTJWorg claims they are not “inspired”, but only "guided".
The conclusion is that GB believes that the “gifts of the spirit” that arose under “inspiration” ceased in the 1st century. 
They do not claim that the "fruits of the spirit" are created under "inspiration", but that they develop with the effort of the individual through keeping the principles and reading the Bible and praying to God.
 There are different kinds of gifts. But they are all given to believers by the same Spirit.  There are different ways to serve. But they all come from the same Lord.  There are different ways the Spirit works. But the same God is working in all these ways and in all people.
7 The Holy Spirit is given to each of us in a special way. That is for the good of all.  To some people the Spirit gives a message of wisdom. To others the same Spirit gives a message of knowledge.  To others the same Spirit gives faith. To others that one Spirit gives gifts of healing.  To others he gives the power to do miracles. To others he gives the ability to prophesy. To others he gives the ability to tell the spirits apart. To others he gives the ability to speak in different kinds of languages they had not known before. And to still others he gives the ability to explain what was said in those languages. All the gifts are produced by one and the same Spirit. He gives gifts to each person, just as he decides. - 1. From this it can be concluded that HS determines what it will give to whom in form of "gifts". There are no such limits to the "fruits of the spirit", but everyone in congregation is called to overcome sinful desires replaced by "fruits".
"Gifts" are  something we received.
"Fruits" are something we achieved.

I am hoping it just means to demilitarize Ukraine.  The prevailing winds are from the West to the East,  and the Ukraine does have (did have ?) biological and chemical weapons research laboratories, and presumably production facilities ….. and they have a large border with the Russian Federation. After he destroys that capability, perhaps he will stop.
Just like the JFK assassination in 1963 perhaps we will not know for a hundred years …. Or perhaps never ….. what it was REALLY all about.

In all the years this entire motley  crew have assembled here, I venture NOT ONE has changed his mind about anything said here.

I do enjoy drivel and trivia and arcane information. You never know when someone will ask who Krypto was, or Mr. Ed’s real name, or what town in New York is associated by with small yellow boxes, or 42.

Well I wouldn’t let them around my kids…alas the days are dark…and they at times seep into the congregations…it’s a sad fact..and hard to understand  at times….but inevitable…
But Jehovah has had complaints according to revelations… with all his congregations down thru times….we really are no different than the Israelites that were in the wilderness…once we understand  that…REALLY understand that….the walk will become easier…and as you reminded us….Paul had to deal with false brothers as well…..but he also dealt with such great faithful ones with all their faults..whom he loved…so it was certainly worth it in the long run for him.

It is worth noting that there were plenty of false brothers in Paul’s day and they made considerable trouble for him.

Having said that, I don’t know that those in Matthew’s past were necessarily false. They were just pieces of work.

I am happy you have found comfort with another family…but Mathew please understand that there are others who have been badly hurt within their congregation…you described your terrible conditions inflicted on you…well I can honestly say my appalling experience within the cong was far worse than that…and it took me some time to come and see that it was done by individuals who abused their positions of power with in the cong,…I also have seen what I call false brothers and real brothers ….there are some I will call made up of fairy floss and no real substance to them….but there are many who are fighting to be as good as they can in a world full of wickedness …and are weary with the stake they carry…and I hope one day that your wounds may heal a little..perhaps the time is not now….but future…I genuinely wish you nothing but calmness and peace..and please don’t hate us all…we are not all the same…for myself I know full well I certainly am a broken Cracked vessel …and many of us are not worth anything really but stand before our God like Joshua did in rotten dirty clothes .
Take comfort in that Jehovah sees all…and he remembers your tears

you do have a lot of knowledge which I upvote often..because it is truth ..but the way you talk to people and about people cancels all that out as worthless.
I personally don’t know any witness who would speak as you do and cast others into damnation  and death as you so quickly do.
I think you need to ban yourself now as you are putting your own life In spiritual jeopardy.
I certainly hope those that read here realize witnesses are not at all like you..and you would never be tolerated  in any cong for speaking as you do.
