Pudgy reacted to Arauna in Now this is strange one. Who really is to blame here ? What could the Elders have done ?
I do not have time for your trolling.  I do not pretend - I know!!!

Please inform which religions believe that Jesus put his SOUL in death...."The soul that sinneth it shall die".  Jesus only received immortality AFTER he was raised up. It was a reward for his faithfulness.

So are you trying to pretend that only JWs understand the ransom ?  If the first man Adam was created and 'came to be a living soul' or living 'being', then it follows that Jesus also 'came to be a living soul' or 'living being'.  But you metion 'the soul of Jesus' as if it was a seperate thing.
I understand that each human must have a 'life source' and that the 'life source' would return to God when the human dies, but that is not a 'soul'. It is not a seperate living spirit that lives on.
However, in my opinion, people that consider themselves very 'intelligent' or ' more intelligent than others ', tend to over complicate matters.  Jesus was human and the main difference was that he was the perfect human. He died as a human and was resurrected as a spirit. He appeared in 'human form' after his resurrection, to prove to people that he had been resurrected, and probably so as not to frighten them.
If Jesus didn't die completely then the ransom would not have been paid. It was only with his death as the perfect human that he paid the perfect price. But it does not take being a JW to know that. I knew that at twelve years old, long before I knew anything about JWs.
As for your last sentence, perhaps you should rethink it. You sound as if you are commiting a lot of people to death.

"The following questions were prepared by the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society in reply to a request for debate from the Moody Bible Institute. The Society proposed that if they could satisfactorily give them Bible answers to these questions, then they would be willing to debate. An answer was never received.

    1. Was Eden on earth or in heaven?

    2. Was Adam created mortal or immortal?

    3. If Adam had not sinned, would he have died?

    4. On account of sin Adam died, so does that prove he was mortal?

    5. Is there a difference between eternal life and immortality?

    6. If Adam had lived forever, would you call that immortality?

    7. Can a person live eternally, and yet, not be immortal?

    8. If Adam could not go to heaven without dying, and could not die without sinning, does that not prove sin was a blessing to the human family?

    9. Did Adam lose an earthly or heavenly home?

10 If Jesus came to restore what Adam lost (Luke 19:10), what will be restored?

    11. Was Adam a single individual, or two individuals in one?

    12. If composed of two parts, soul and body; which one was Adam?

    13. What was the responsible part that could think, feel, and act?

    14. Which part was it that sinned, soul or body?

    15. If it was the soul, then why does the body have to suffer?

    16. If it was the body, then why does the soul need to be saved?

    17. In Genesis 3:11 (“Who told thee thou wast naked?”), which part of Adam did God talk to, soul or body?

    18. What is the “thou” referred to in Genesis 3:17 (“Thou hast eaten”)?

    19. If you say it refers to the soul, then to what does the word “thou” refer to in Genesis 3:19, 20 (“Dust thou art, and to dust, thou shalt return.”)?

    20. How many different penalties were passed on Adam for sinning?

    21. Was one penalty pronounced against the soul, and a different one against the body?

    22. Then, explain Ezekiel 18:20 and Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10?

    23. Is the penalty mentioned at Genesis 2:17, different from Genesis 3:19?

    24. If there was only one penalty, what was it?

    25. Does the Bible say the penalty against Adam, was death, a returning to the dust?

    26. Or, an endless life of misery in a burning hell?

    27. Suppose that all that happened in Eden, no Savior had come; where would the human race spend eternity (righteous David, for example.)?

    28. Did Jesus really die when he was impaled at Golgotha?

    29. Or, was it only his body that died (implying that Jesus soul is immortal)?

    30. If Jesus had an immortal soul that did not die, and that immortal was Jesus himself; have we not been misinformed that Jesus died for sinners?

    31. Why not just say that the body Jesus lived in died for the body Adam lived in, and that the real Jesus did not die at all, and the real Adam (and the rest of humanity) simply was not (were not) saved?"

Some metallic debris crashed through the ceiling of my house, grazed the edge of my bed, bolting me upright, and set fire to the clothes locker. Furious, I got XI on the phone and was prepared to give him a piece of my mind when I saw USA on the crumpled wing.
”Anything for the homeland,” I said, and went back to sleep.
Few things are funnier than seeing the SNL libs go into conniptions at the thought of working with him.

What I noticed was that there were no negative articles about SpaceX. Instead of admitting "debris" about the rocket booster falling out of orbit, there is talk of a fantastic display, and a dazzling sky show.
But before Google would even put up anything (always positive) about SpaceX, it found space for 4 links to China's "problem" with falling debris, especially from the rocket booster falling out of orbit.
Also, the NYT just ran a huge story on how dangerous China's space program is.
When this type of thing happens on 95 out of 100 stories on different topics, one could get the impression it was done on purpose.😉

In order to count up the dead for the records,, Egyptians would routinely cut off the right hand of those slain. But there were occasions that they took the penises, in order to allay any charge that they were killing women.
As for Roger, there is a story of him autographing a paper for a 7-year-old. Whereupon the 7-year-old complained that he had not signed “James Bond.” He took the kid into his confidence and informed how he had to sign “Roger Moore” because there might be agents of Biofeld around.
Decades later, the lad worked in the movie industry, ran across Roger again, and related the story. Roger smiled, but said he didn’t remember the incident.
Later in the parking lot he told the fellow: “Of course I remember. But I had to be careful. Biofeld might be monitoring the conversation.”

Everyone knows that Baptists and Catholics have an extremely "flexible" religion as to badness .... what with all the in which witch burnings, inquisitions and what-not .... and that the JWs give lip service to being above all of that.
When dog bites man ... it's not big news.

But I will agree that instead of the REAL James Bond, Sean Connery .... watching Roger Moore as James Bond certainly rots the mind.

You know ... if watching James Bond flix are immoral. perhaps reading about a man would slaughter people all day long, in hand-to hand combat, year after year, in great quantities, then cut off the ends of their penises, and present them to his wife in a big box, is equally something that reading about is immoral. A man also guilty of premeditated 1st degree murder, and adultery.
... and of course, I am taking about King David

Is it possible for you not to notice that you exactly validate what she says?
It is just as she says. If you actually cared about children, you would be interested in CSA outside the “W/t, CCJW, JW Org, and their other orgs / titles,” because that’s where almost all of it is. Carrying on as though children mattered to you—it is all a ruse!
And why do you care only of this tiny subset of CSA cases?
Translation: Witnesses say they are the one true religion.
It has nothing to do with children! It has everything to do with your own bigoted vendetta, exactly as Holly Folk said.

It is not easy targeting a diverse group. Personalities differ. Levels of education differ. One person overreacts while his neighbor says, ‘Huh—did you say something?’
But the May Broadcast, with special focus on persecution, most notably in Russia today, with abundant film footage of events unfolding, is excellent and for everyone.
Though not commonplace, there have been police officers holding back and even resigning. Once they felt pride at enforcing the law to the benefit of citizens. Today they are being told to beat up on old people and terrorize children.
Most of several segments is on persecution (and prophesy). What isn’t on that intertwined topic is for young people.

I’m expecting to lose it all.....and it will be a final testing of sorts for many of us.....somehow I’m thinking..rightly or wrongly? ...when it does all go...the visible structures of Jehovah’s witnesses...it has to some how represent...the scattering of the apostles..when Jesus was taken into custody and trial...and killed...
The most favored and trusted ..fled and were confused after his death...they actually went back to work fishing...not knowing what to do.
They did not cope with out his visible presence..even tho he had explained it to them.
How will we cope without a visible bricks and mortar..or if zoom also goes down?
Even Jesus himself cried out ...My God My God why have you forsaken me!!...he FELT it had gone on too long........in moments of anguish..will we as a people feel we have been tricked...will our faith and trust be tested when it all goes...and if he allows it all to go?
I am thinking that it also corresponds with the Israelites on leaving Egypt in organized safe military style escape.
When they were bought up against the sea..against the mountains...and hearing the chariots and horses of Egypt bearing down on them...in fear..and lack of trust In Jehovah..they felt they had been deceived...and cried out to Moses and ready to stone him for tricking them...will he allow the same situation come upon his modern day people in the last days?
Why not?....if he allowed his own son for a very brief time to think he had been a abandoned...why not us his motley crew of people.
We cannot look back and yearn for the days of KHs and skin on skin stuff....we cannot yearn for the leeks and onions and pots of meat...
We have been trained as a people..and every time one of us here took a stand against a pagan holiday such as Xmas or Valentine’s Day or whatever.....which blatantly is a form of idol worship to a pretend demon God.......we were in training for what is coming...he was getting us ready to take a even stronger stand that seems to be about to happen.
We must not be like Hezekiah who proudly showed of all his riches of gold etc...who put his faith in such...only to be punished by losing the lot...
Even the good Kings had wrong attitudes about such things... and he learned from that.
Havings said this I ask myself would I have been one that went into panic mode when my back was up against the mountains and wall of sea and hearing the thundering of horses bearing down on me and my family.....probably ......would I have been one that moaned about forty years of manna.....more than likely ....
I like to think....or hope....that now I have the scriptures and read their examples....and had more training than those Israelites after 400 years of captivity ...Well..I hope I do a bit better.....time will tell shortly I guess.
