As if I have never written here about Jesus? You know I have intensely concentrated on Christ, since you've read many of my comments.   How is it, that particular JWs on here have no problem spouting off lies?    When people have to rely on lies to cut down their opponent,  it shows that they have no other "ammo", but to slander.  Just like the governing body.
That's really okay.  It just amazes me how Jesus' words have been fulfilled in the last days.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
11 “Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things about you falsely on account of me"  Matt 5:10,11

    Is God’s Name Jehovah?
Jehovah’s Witnesses and other Sacred Name groups lit up the Internet last week when Religion News Service claimed, “The original Hebrew name of God re-discovered in 1,000 Bible manuscripts.” At first glance, it sounds like the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society has perhaps been vindicated after all for inserting the name Jehovah into their New World Translation:
On January 21, 2018, Bible Scholar Nehemia Gordon and his team of researchers discovered the 1,000th Hebrew Bible manuscript containing the original name of God in Hebrew with vowels.
For two hundred years, scholars have believed based on Greek sources and conjecture that the Hebrew name of God was originally pronounced “Yahweh.” In late 2016, Gordon found never-translated traditional Jewish sources that explicitly identified the vowels of God’s name in Hebrew as “Yehovah.” This is similar to the English Jehovah, but with a “Y” and the emphasis on the final syllable.
This article, however, is more hype than reality. Nehemia Gordon is the leading light in a “revival” of a sect called Karaite Judaism. The Karaites originated in the late eighth century AD. They adhered, as do today’s proponents, to the written text of the Old Testament only, refusing both the Talmud and rabbinic traditions. They considered themselves purists, restoring true Judaism. They regarded use of anything other than the Old Testament as Pharisaism. Some of the Hebrew Roots Movement have been drawn to Gordon because he seems a bit friendly toward Jesus, yet he outright rejects the idea that Jesus is the Messiah.
But what are we to make of the article’s claim of manuscript evidence for this Yehovah pronunciation of God’s name?
Somewhere during the ninth and tenth centuries, a group called the Masoretes arbitrarily put vowels into the Old Testament text in an attempt to standardize pronunciations. The particular Hebrew Manuscript used was the text of ben Ashur. Until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, it was the oldest Old Testament text we had, and every translation team of the newer Bible versions used it. Again, the vowels are arbitrary, put into the text to standardize pronunciation. Wikipedia notes something important:
It has been suggested that the ben Asher family and the majority of the Masoretes were Karaites.
The vowels were added by the Karaites.
The ben Ashur text – or most of it – is held by Israel. Some of it is lost. It is called the Keter (Crown) and is also referred to as The Aleppo Codex:
The Aleppo Codex (Hebrew: כֶּתֶר אֲרָם צוֹבָא‎ Keter Aram Tzova or Crown of Aleppo) is a medieval bound manuscript of the Hebrew Bible. The codex was written in the city of Tiberias, in what is currently northern Israel, in the 10th century C.E.
So, what we essentially have is a late Jewish restorationist movement (and you thought we only had that in “Christendom”), adding vowels to the Hebrew text and then claiming a newly discovered confirmation of the pronunciation of God’s name!
So, while the headlines may appear to be a breaking story of newly discovered information, it is not new, and the story is contrived. Realistically, how newsworthy would a headline be, reading “One-thousandth Copy of Tenth Century Hebrew Bible with Vowels Arbitrarily Added Has Been Discovered by the Sect That Added the Vowels”?
Like most Watchtower Society “proofs,” it provides no proof at all — just much ado about nothing.

I thought of you when reading about this book, with the newest copy now available. I plan to buy it, and noticed it has your date on the cover, 2034.  You might be interested in reading it also, since it is about the history of the organization and its leadership.   What I noticed is the author's use of the word, "deceit" describing the organization as a whole.  We know that Jesus warned of false prophets/teachers in the last days that would deceive the "elect", the chosen priests of God. ( Matt.24:10,11; 1 Tim.4:1; Matt 7:15-20; Mark 13:5) Every date on the cover of this book misled the people who put trust in it.  And that is only a handful of dates that your organization projected with promise.  They are lies.  Shouldn't we question the honesty of those who tell such lies?  (John 8:44)
We know that an organization was predicted to "make war" with God's holy peopled through the use of deceit. (Rev 13:5-7)  It is directed by false prophets who expect allegiance to the their "spirit-directed organization".  (Rev 13:4,11,12,15,16; 19:20)
The aspects of war happens when one is taken captive by empty philosophy - deceit.  (Ezek 22:23-29; Acts 20:29-31; Col 2:8; Rev 13:10)  It continues when one rejects the deceit and speaks out against it. And then, that person is disfellowshipped - considered spiritually  dead.  (Rev 13:15;11:1-3,7)  Jesus said those who are excommunicated from the "synagogues"/congregations, don't know the Father and the Son. (John 16:1-3)  So you see, you are stuck, totally immobile on a word created by men, and how it sounds - "Jehovah".  And for that, you feel anyone who doesn't use it, who doesn't verbalize it, is to be destroyed.  That is not how God or Christ judges people.  He judges them on the truth in His Word. (John 17:17)   If one truly knew God and His Son, would he dare follow in the footsteps of leaders who have a history of false predictions?
False prophets, men who set dates for the destruction of the world, have much to answer for, when Christ returns.  (Matt 7:26; 12:37)  I am not your judge, as you appear to be mine.  I only hope that you wake up and realize the error of your way, before Christ returns.  (Jer 17:10; Joel 3:12; James 4:12)

The question of "possessing (certain, particular) knowledge” was raised in Eden. God did not want the “knowledge of good and evil” to come into the possession of Adam and Eve. Whatever that could and should mean.
"Being knowledgeable"* could lead to processes that end in failure. Individuals and societies have a great deal of knowledge accumulated over the centuries. And now the world is facing several types of serious disasters, which some say are related to the "use of advanced knowledge" and human character. Advanced knowledge of atoms led to the atomic bomb (today it is an outdated example).
The other extreme would be in possessing a smaller range of knowledge and living “in harmony with nature”. Then there might not be catastrophes caused by the human factor, but only those catastrophes that are "normal" processes in nature itself. In the nature that is an integral part of the planet Earth, and which was created by God who actually initiated all these processes, believers would say.
Do the “believers” of any denomination have the knowledge that God by His knowledge created a planet that has volcanoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, climate changes that go from great hot to ice ages and so on? And that people will die from something at some point (with or without knowledge of it)?
"Part of the world"? We all are part of the same world, no matter of Biblical terminology and using of same terminology for theological and doctrinal reasons.  People before us left us a world as it was when we were born, and today we are creating this world as it is and we will leave it shaped according to our “knowledge” for future generations. So each individual is a “part of this world,” not the different one we would like to have in our dreams.

I remember that. It was pretty funny. I always got the impression that the first thing you must always type in any response is the term "that being said" and then you work your post before and after that expression, just to make sure it's in there. But then again, you probably already know that there is another person, not nearly so active, who has never used that particular expression here, but who has used at least half a dozen other terms and definitions that would otherwise have been mostly unique to you.

SM probably was using JB1 as shorthand for "4Jah2Me." That was the name you took just after "John Butler." It was very easy to identify you --you didn't try very hard to hide the fact-- but I understand why you thought it necessary to avoid admitting directly to being the reincarnated (re-insiliconated)  "John Butler." But you have already admitted previously that "4Jah2Me" was the name you had when you changed it to "Patiently waiting for Truth." That means, by the transitive property of multiplication of identities, that you are now admitting that both the previous names were re-instances of John Butler. But that should be no big deal to any of us. It's just an interesting observation that helps to understand your issues and concerns more clearly: like noticing all the points in common between "Cesar Chavez" and "NoisySrecko."

Race Relations in America_ Examining the Facts-ABC-CLIO (2021)
Data collected on fatal police shootings reveal that African Americans are approximately 2.5 to 3 times more likely than white Americans to be killed by police. One explanation for the racial disparity frequently used to defend police killings of African Americans is that they are more likely than whites to be armed and to resist arrest, thus necessitating violent force by police. A competing explanation centers on the racial biases of police officers and maintains that the explicit and implicit biases of officers affect the snap judgments they make about African Americans—including whether or not to shoot. Research provides support to the latter perspective, though the evidence is not conclusive.

Robin (1963) studied 32 fatal shootings by police in Philadelphia from 1950 to 1960. Twenty-eight, or 87.5 %, of these involved blacks, in a population estimated to be about 22 % black. The proportion of those killed who were black, then, exceeded population - based expectation by 65.5%. Robin also reports that the population - based rate of deadly force for blacks in Philadelphia was about 22 times that of whites. Results of a mail survey for seven other cities indicate a range from six to nearly thirty times the white rate for blacks.
Takagi (1974) draws upon data from the VITAL STATISTICS, and reports that 48.7 % of the decedents due to police use of deadly force nationwide were black in 1960 through 1968. He estimates that 10 % of the population at that time was black, yielding a higher-than-expected black representation among deadly force decedents of 38.7 %. He further describes these data as revealing that while deadly force rates for both blacks and whites increased over these years, the rate for blacks was always at least nine times as high for blacks as it was for whites.
It is true, conditions have improved over the decades, but not to a noticeable extent from another race perspective.
My observation is on why is it necessary to make any distinctions from God’s creation, here. This is one reason why “whites” in America think they are obligated to maintain their superiority over other races.  A predicament that is even vocal in this forum. Why? What is the need?

    @NoisySrecko
A while back, there has been some people who pose as others, and or somewhat pretend to be someone else, often times, it is not 100%, for instance, we know Patiently is JB/JB1, although he denies it. Likewise we had some interesting characters such as a guy named Billy, Jesus Defender, and Alex, who coined "That being said" once and they assume he was me, but his mannerism in conveying things is vastly different from mine.
In your case, I was able to discern Srecko from you ever since the Bible student discussion whereas the other Srecko has his own mannerism, often times, quite cryptic and unknowning.

That being said, it would not be much of a surprise if another Srecko popped up at any point.

How about "dungy" as in "dungy idols". To be true to the emotional content and derision present in scripture it should have been "sh*tty idols". It isn't as if these were smeared w/dung. It was a judgment.
    It's totally appropriate.

It would seem, it also happens here with statistics. The way a question is framed, and answer might not give it justice. The perception of some reporters can differ with an indirect inference. The cops in an upper class neighborhood might spend time defusing a white counterpart to give up and not resist. The same scenario with a black person might not get the same consideration and that cop will be more motivated to shot first and ask questions later, than with a white person.
Case in point. A black man wielding a knife is more likely to get shot than a white person wielding a knife. This scenario happened recently in two cases. The black person was killed, and the white person, even though he stabbed the cop in the neck, didn’t get fired upon. Then it becomes optics rather than facts or statistics.

Do not look upon yourself as an unrepentant person but instead a lost sheep looking for a righteous Shepherd. You seem to have lost confidence in the people around you. Stop, think, and reflect on what scripture means in the personal relationship you need to reconnect with Jehovah. Christian faith while unified cast a greater self-worth of faith. It is by virtue of our personal relationship with God that will ultimately be our salvation. God demanded the unity of his chosen people. He expects no less from spiritual Israel. One thing for certain. Noisy doesn't know anything about crime, crime stats and the causes of and correlates of crime. I do. I took every CJ class offered. Other things (beyond absentee fathers) which increase the likelihood of violent offending is low IQ and higher male hormone levels . Interestingly, when the IQ drops to 70 the rate of offending goes down. The sweet spot appears to be an IQ of 85.https://law.jrank.org/pages/1363/Intelligence-Crime-Measuring-size-IQ-crime-correlation.html

"Lived experience" is crap. Those are just anecdotes and these mean nothing. You don't go from some anecdote or some gas you might have at the moment and conclude anything about the external world based on those kinds of things.
My "lived experience" is that apostates are massively annoying trolls who instead of trying to better their own lives just hang around people who are doing their best to do what's right and yelling "Boo!, boo!".
No one cares what apostates have to say, even people who don't like JW's despise apostates.
