You know,, that explanation seems a lot simpler than others I have heard …… But I seem to remember the scripture saying it’s a false prophet it will give you a specific date or year.
I’ve also heard from possibly the smartest natural man who ever lived, Sir Isaac Newton reportedly calculated the end days to be in 2060, as early as possibly 2032, But I don’t remember how he calculated it.
Sure,  Isaac  Newton’s natural intelligence was possibly greater than everybody we’ve ever met put together, but it makes sense that no man knows the year of the day or the hour otherwise we’d all be up with a shotgun waiting for the thief.
The fact that you’ve actually made this prediction is prima facie evidence that you’re a false prophet.
it’s a natural temptation, that few can resist.

Not here, you were the only one to utter JWs and NWT. This is in relation to Translations in general that follow the TR and those that do not follow the TR, in correlation with manuscripts.
If you want to use the NWT, then by all means, go ahead, for if that can help you against TR related translations.
This is why Textual Criticism when TR is addressed is vital relation to those verses.
This is Textual Criticism based, John.
To determine if a word/passage is added or not, you have to know what Strong's and or roots that violates the text itself. "God/Deity/Divine" or "a God/a Deity" isn't a violation unless it is something other than, outside of THEOS. Likewise with your tortures stake remark, if it has no connection to what a Stavros entails, then you have a violation.
So, address the violations instead of just looking at the verse at face value. Those verses are no different from 1 Timothy 3:16, Acts 10:48 or Acts 16:7.
That being said, if you are using the NWT or anything that isn't based on TR, I don't see how you can address the above.
TR is based off of Greek New Testament from Erasmus, where as the verses mentioned are the effected ones in the KJV If I remember correctly, the NWT is based off of Westcott and Hort. That being said, the verse you misquoted, but was attempting to quote was Matthew 27:32.

This longer version was founded much later on, was never part of the original. The Long part can only be read in the KJV and or translations that follow the later sources.
The Gospel of Mark ends at verse 8, hence Mark 16:1-8. There are 2 of the oldest and most respected manuscripts, the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus. As the oldest manuscripts are known to be the most accurate because there were fewer generations of copies. Since and the oldest manuscripts do not verses 9 to 20, it is concluded and affirmed that these verses were added later by scribes, again, like the Adulterous Woman, this passage isn't only defend by Trinitarians or that of MSC as a whole, it is viewed as spurious as well. In the 4th century, Early Church Fathers like Eusebius and Jerome noted that almost all Greek manuscripts available to them didn't really have any evidence of this longer version, although they doubtless knew those other endings existed in their time. Irenaeus himself may have known about other long endings because he made a note to it, however, these Church Fathers knew of the added verses, but even by the 4th century, Eusebius said the Greek manuscripts did not include these endings or any other one, in the originals.
As seen in the verse what is marked in red was added, no Strong's or root even supports this.
The added part was mostly from later sources which has no connection to the early ones.
Also there is no question as to why it was added, it was for a gain on the MSC side of Christianity.
11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

Among all forgeries, this is the biggest one - The Comma Johanneum.
The real verse is For there are three that testify: [these three witnesses]
Trinitarian and those of MSC NOW admit this verse was not written by the hand of John. Having access to collections of hundreds of manuscripts, modern scholars are able to determine this verse was introduced into the Bible long after John wrote this letter. The evidence is so clear as day that it cannot be denied. However, there are still those out there, especially KJV Onlyists of the MSC crowd, who are unwilling to accept the facts on this matter and claim this verse is authentic.
My quote to Brando regarding Jesus Defender:
My quote for this one was to Srecko when he addressed Bible errors and inspired text:

Jesus Christ was replaced with Lord.
The Strong's show us a strong indicator that Jesus Christ (Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ) is suppose to be in the verse, however, we see Lord instead. The verse should either have in the name of Jesus Christ or in the name of our Lord Yeshua The Messiah or in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This some would only catch by accident if they're not paying attention, however, it can easily be missed.
Similar to Acts 10:48, but the difference between most translations and the KJV is that of Jesus or Jesus is unfounded.
A parallel with the verses in Acts, for the verses has added by Jesus Christ. There is no Strong's or root to even attest to that addition being true, more evidence to that is the Codex Sinaiticus

That being said, some of these are known by some, even by you JWs, but the others you mentioned are of the tricky kind, but in the realm of Hermeneutics and Textual Criticism, these are often discussed.

I stand corrected on the Matthew scripture, which should be Matthew 27 : 40
And yet you have quoted yourself as comparing the KJV with the NWT

If you stick to Bible Scripture Only, surely you have to use a Bible.  If it's a BIBLE based activity, then I've quoted scriptures from the bible.

And i asked questions about words added.
What I didn't do however was to be tricked into using the scriptures sited.

You are definitely following in the Storm Trooper's footsteps. Please do not get like SM, just giving orders to people.
It's not about WW3, it's about people being allowed to have their own opinion.
    NWT.     Matthew 27 : 4
and saying: “You who would throw down the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! If you are a son of God, come down off the torture stake!”
The word TORTURE, is it an addition to this scripture ?
    NWT  John 1 : 1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.
The word a, is it an addition to this scripture ?
I'm not disputing the meaning behind the additions. I'm asking from the BIBLE SCRIPTURE ONLY viewpoint.
In the JW, Kingdom Interlinear Translations, it shows them to be additions.

Not a misstep, they actually tried to change Gods “times and laws”.
It finishes in Acts 1:7 when “He said to them:
“It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.” That being said, these men believed they can “calculate” when the kingdom would be restored, they actually thought they had knowledge superior to the original disciples to know these “times and dates” by twisting Daniels 7 times to equate 2520 physical years, changing “times and laws”:
“He will speak against the Most High and oppress his holy people and try to change the set times and the laws. The holy people will be delivered into his hands for a time, times and half a time.” Dan 7:25
They’ve painted themselves into a corner while obligated to say in their heart “my master delays”, beating anyone who disagrees with them. Matthew 24:48-49.

Of COURSE the Wt. will not attest to Pearl's teachings, because she is exposing their false doctrine.
WHO called her out?  You?  Do you think you are the first one to come against her teachings?
I'm not surprised when people like Robert King is waiting at the exit door to lead them down another rabbit hole. You do realize that Satan will use his own "chosen" ones to mislead the anointed remnant; whether inside the organization or by the likes of men like Robert King.  And also, not everyone leaving thirsts to find truth.
Please, show me proof of what you are saying.  She teaches the anointed Body of Christ as the "church".  I have not heard anything about the judges of Israel as having had a "church".  Now, if you are meaning the anointed priesthood of spiritual Israel, they ARE judges.  1 Cor 6:2
He is the Destroyer, who do you think did the destroying?
Ps 78:43-49 - When He worked His signs in Egypt,

And their streams, that they could not drink.
45 He sent swarms of flies among them, which devoured them,
    And frogs, which destroyed them.
46 He also gave their crops to the caterpillar,
And their labor to the locust.
47 He destroyed their vines with hail,
And their sycamore trees with frost.
48 He also gave up their cattle to the hail,
And their flocks to fiery lightning.
49 He cast on them the fierceness of His anger,
    Wrath, indignation, and trouble,
By sending angels of destruction among them.
"Angels of destruction" - "evil angels/messengers"....belonging to whom?  Satan, the Destroyer   (Strongs H7451, H4397)
Satan is the Betrayer and the Destroyer.  Isa 33:1; John 10:10
God has sent a lying spirit  into the mouths of a false prophets. (1 Kings 22:19-23)  He allowed Satan to cause affliction on Job.   God doesn't follow the rules of men - not even your rules, SM.  Yet never would He do these things unless He had just cause.

Understandably. It just means that each new generation (new GB generation, new JW members generation, or people in general) has learned nothing from previous generations from the recent or distant past.
Is this paragraph about asking questions due to a misunderstanding by followers? Or is it that the followers tried to set the dogma on the basis of Jesus' teaching and-or previous or subsequent answers / comments / illustrations He gave them?
Sure, it’s not ideal for a sinner to follow another sinner, but if a JW member so desires, who am I to object to that?

Please note the question mark at the end of the sentence. Do you know what it means ?
It means that the sentence was a QUESTION. It was not a statement. It was not a teaching. Not a doctrine.
Imagining that. BUT Not teaching it as fact.
The Watchtower / GB teach things as facts by pretending that they are the F&DS.
You deliberately want to hide yourself from the difference. So you basically misuse scripture which in turn loses you credibility.
You need to think on this. The 'missteps' (lies) of your GB / Watchtower / Org, are condemning people to death.
     Luke 17 : 1 & 2
    Berean Study Bible
Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

A couple of points here. firstly
I've have said this many times before on this forum. With God all things are possible.
    secondly.
Hence my name I use now on this forum. Patiently waiting for truth. And I get mocked for it.
But when you say WE, would you be kind enough to say exactly who the 'we' are ?
Are you referring to individuals or the Watchtower Soc' / JW Org / GB ?

    Like these....
Isaiah 55:8-9 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, And your ways are not my ways,” declares Jehovah. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So my ways are higher than your ways And my thoughts than your thoughts."

42 Then Job said in reply to Jehovah:
2 “Now I know that you are able to do all things
And that nothing you have in mind to do is impossible for you.+
3 You said, ‘Who is this who is obscuring my counsel without knowledge?’+
Therefore I spoke, but without understanding
About things too wonderful for me, which I do not know.+
4 You said, ‘Please listen, and I will speak.
I will question you, and you inform me.’+
5 My ears have heard about you,
But now I do see you with my eyes.
6 That is why I take back what I said,*+
And I repent in dust and ashes.”+

...we implicitly act as if this isn't true, boldly concluding things Jehovah's going to do or not do and even the manner of his doing or not doing.
    We can't let it go.

It's interesting to read these comments because it does make sense from both sides. Most 'boots on the ground' JWs are nice humble 'ordinary' people. Having been a JW in different congregations, I've known some nice people. Generally not the Elders though. Most Elders I've met have been unplesant.
So, @Thinking are you saying that at one time you had to preach / teach something that you did not actually believe ? This isn't a trick question, it's taken from your own words as I've quoted above.
The 'eating humble pie' is sometimes a good thing. I've been 'shot down' by SM many times of late, and in most cases he is right. So in my prayer to God at night I feel very guilty and find it hard to pray. Each day I'm realising that I'm more imperfect than I'd like to be.
On this question of "had to be a baptised witness to survive", has there been a definite change in the Watchtower / JW Org teaching on this matter ?  I'll have to try and research that.
@Srecko Sostar I haven't yet managed to listen to this Convention. What day was this talk on please ? I'd be interested in hearing it. Settling out of court does not mean someone is guilty, he says. But when that settlement includes the forced instruction that the Victim is not allowed to talk about the court case or accusation. When the victim has to agree to keep quiet then it's known as 'Hush money'.  It's no longer compensation, it becomes a payment to the victim to order them not to tell the truth to anyone.
That is when we see the big difference between the 'boots on the ground' JWs, and the Governing Body and their lawyers.
My apologies to @Jack Ryan as we seem to have taken this off topic.

David Splane Convention talks does not support humility.
"Media Reports are often carefully worded to avoid a lawsuit", he said .....I guess lawsuit by WTJWorg Lawyers against freedom of speech of ex-JW or CSA victims or other who speak how WTJWorg practice in some life situations is wrong.
He talks about the fact that not everyone who is convicted and punished "by man" is also guilty (because God does not think he is guilty) .... so then switch to the topic that if someone reads how an individual or organization is sued, then settle the matter out of court. Settling out of court does not mean someone is guilty, he says.
Well, then he says a jury is a bunch of ignorant people who know nothing about law. The jury, he says, does not always have access to all the facts, because judges and lawyers decide what to present to them.
Splane concludes that neither party, (the plaintiff's and the defendant's lawyers), want the whole truth to be known and visible in court.
Accordingly, he said in fact also this:  WTJWorg lawyers don’t want to give all the truth to the Court, to the jury, to the public. And this in fact means:  WTJWorg lawyers don't want to give justice to the victim.
And "the public" are both group, so called worldly people and JW members. With this Convention talk he gives to JW members and public a big fat lie as "proper food in proper time".
Yes, David Splane's "preaching service" from door to door of every person who opened the door of their home with the click of a finger on the jworg website, fulfilled the prophecy of Jesus.

that’s the biggest load of crock that’s put out on the net…It was an Avenue of the preaching work and the most successful at one time….nothing not one little thing can any witnesses do that will help him attain to everlasting life or survive into the coming day of Jehovah….
Anything anyone gets is pure mercy and grace graciously given by the Creator…Jack and SS..if you feel we have let the people down…then you go out into the Door to door work..with your bibles…why are you not doing that……
Bible studies and baptisms are still happening….if anyone goes out on the doors in Australia…you will be viewed by the householder as Freddy Kruger…such is the hysteria and fear factor over here….and what purpose will that serve…none…so we adapt..just as the apostles had to adapt their preaching at certain times….do either of you think that the Christians during the horrific reign of Nero didn’t tread very quietly and carefully in that period of his rule….they adapted to that time period…thus we must adapt…what worked for us previously …certainly won’t work now…
But for those reading this..the preaching work goes on…on a personal level I have more talks and studies now than ever before….people are asking questions….people are worried ….
As to who is going to survive all of this…we dont know who…it’s up to Jesus to do the judging….Jehovah is the reader of hearts….and yes we as a people did once preach and teach that you had to be a baptised witness to survive…(.but some  of us also did not believe that)…once again as a people we have had to eat humble pie….and realize only Jesus can judge this…we cannot say or even think such things…so hey…a lot of us are getting fat on eating humble pie…

The JW witnessing work certainly hasn't stopped here in the UK. The JWs have been sending out letters by the hundreds it seems. In some towns residents are complaining about the letters but at least it proves that letters are being sent, and they are being read.
In conversation with an Elder yesterday he told me that magazines are still arriving here in UK, though I don't know where they are being printed. He also mentioned a 'new' study book, 'Enjoy Life Forever'.  I don't know exactly how new this book is but he said that a few copies are arriving in his location.  He did admit that the 'zoom' (or whatever they use) meetings were not as spiritually upbuilding as the personal 'getting together', but that brothers and sisters were still visiting one another where possible. He is the literiture servant for his congregation so deals with all the mags' and tracts etc. He also told me that the convention is available for viewing on the JW Org website, under Broadcasting.
Although I don't agree with all they say and do, there is no point in pretending that they are inactive, because here in the UK it is obvious that JWs are still very active.

WTJWorg has always expressed pride that the only real preaching service is when JWs go from house to house, and that some other forms of service are only ancillary or rare exceptions if a JW member is sick or bedridden.
COVID is an interesting phenomenon. The whole World stopped, "God's Chariot" stopped. But WTJWorg buys and sells, builds and plants ... as people (who didn't pay attention) did before the Flood.

So a bad flu came along... scared the world and stopped the "constant feature" of our Kingdom service.....Hmmm
I remember so many examples of righteous and brave brothers doing "underground" work in scary countries ... risking and sometimes losing their lives just so that some green bibles and watchtowers could make it to x country under ban.
Fast forward to 2020.... JW's turn into Televangelists conveniently in the mid 2010's and all it takes is a bad flu to stop "the constant feature"
"The sacrificial smoke" pleasing to Jehovah himself.
The territories became so scary they had to stand with carts instead of actually approaching random people and knocking on doors.
Fast forward and now we don't see anything going on anywhere.....

If only the brothers back in the 70's and earlier knew that phone call witnessing once a week would be enough to garner eternal life.... no need to smuggle watchtowers or risk walking long driveways with dogs.

    So many lives wasted......

And now you can be JW's by just subscribing to JW.org via your Roku and look presentable, repeat the same mantras that they tell you... and voila!  You'll be part of the "meek" inheriting the Earth while your neighbors will be "weeping and gnashing their teeth".....
Except that part where you eventually get ill, need medical care, a job and have no money because you don't have a vocation.... why? Because getting an education was considered "worldly".... (while Televangelism isn't?)  That was the very definition of worldliness back in the 1989. (maybe heavy metal music was worse... slightly)

Enjoy your exclusive and supposedly elite club.... it is disintegrating in front of our eyes.... it isn't even recognizable as the same JW's as yesteryear.... except for the judgmental, holier than thou, we will survive while everyone else dies mentality..... that is as strong as ever.

Your early spiritual fathers must have tolerated them, at least for awhile.  Were those individuals not worth their salt?  The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures, was produced by the WT.  The 1985 version is on the JW website, and in there are the spurious scriptures.
How dare the GB (who are not worth their salt perhaps?)  allow it, right?

You live in a spiritual haven where love can be turned off at the drop of an announcement - "disfellowshipped!"  So I understand why you are so adamant that these scriptures are "spurious", never to have been added to God's word at any time over history.    And, it can't be dismissed that its presence in your Bible would be a challenge to overcome, if a JW brought them up in a judicial meeting. Because it isn't in there, it makes life for your judges so much easier to follow their rules, instead of the law of love in Jesus Christ.

The reason the Wt cannot tolerate these “spurious” scriptures is because they are “spurious.” Nobody else worth his salt in the world of biblical scholarship can tolerate them either. Just because a passage appeals to sentimentality does not mean it belongs in the word of God.
Up till now I thought you at least knew scriptures, if not their proper application. Now it appears you do not know scripture either. Any tear-jerker of a passage you uncritically accept.
What “proofs” does your website offer to counter the fact that it is not found in any of the oldest manuscripts? Besides the fact that it appeals to you, I can see only:
    1) Jesus said a lot of things, all the scrolls in the world could not contain them, so probably this is one of those things.
    2) It is not vague but has specific details.
    That’s it!
I could write a biblical passage to meet these criteria, and you would probably accept it.
In fact the Trutomicom excerpt, unjustly excluded from modern Bibles, but I have found an ancient manuscript of such in my glove box, includes the following “missing” passage from Revelation:
”And loud voice was heard from the rider of the white horse, crying “Whoa!!!” As the angelic troops ground to a screeching halt, amidst the whinnying and neighing  and snorting of horses, the rider’s voice rang out:
”Really, what business is this of ours? Here below we see ones who do not know their right hand from their left. It’s their affair! Let the one who has no sin among them throw the first bolt. Since there is not such a one, I forgive them as well.* Now let’s go home.
*all except for the sins of a certain 8 men in New York State. They really tick me off! I’ll let all sins slide except for theirs. They’re gonna fry!”
    Happy?

Do all "Trinitarians" think alike?  Do all "Anti-Trinitarians" think alike?  Obviously not.  This is one "Anti-Trinitarian" that believes John 7:53-8:11 is a true account, and the account has nothing to do with the trinity.   I so appreciated how you described the qualities of Jesus Christ, but even though we are both “Anti-Trinitarians”, I don’t believe in all that you believe. You have to accept that.  In fact, I think you tend to focus on the worldly and not on the spiritual. You apply earthly concepts to the meaning of prophecy as JWs do, which comes through the eyes of a “natural man”.  (1 Cor 2:14)
I very much appreciated how the link I provided was laid out clearly for me, even though the writer may be a “Trinitarian”.  So, what am I to do, shun all Trinitarians even though there may be some truth to their words in other topics?  If I am to shun all Catholics, I should be shunning my brother and his family and all of his friends.  Yet, my Catholic sister-in-law has worked in the soup kitchen for many years, providing for the homeless.  I am not in charge of reading her heart, or the hearts of my family.  They accepted me for my “anti-trinitarian” + Watchtower beliefs…for years. My sons are now agnostic. Should I shun them because they fit in some category?   Their judgment is in the hands of God, as is mine.  I am not in charge of reading the hearts of all "Trinitarians"; are you?
I am an “Anti-Trinitarian” as you say, as are the people I have come from.  I don’t shun them for not believing in their organization, but they shun me for my actions/words against it.   Can you see how lumping people into a specific group of "trinitarian" and "anti-trinitarian", is going a little overboard?   It is just another form of bias.
This is the time of confusion, which will eventually be cleared up for all righteous-hearted people, who will come to the knowledge of truth.  Isa 2
