  1. The seven plagues, trumpets, seals, bowls, thunders, they are all expressing different aspects of the beginning of the great tribulation. They are expressing God's judgment on false religion in slightly different ways, as well as revealing the debased condition of beastly human governmental powers. The seven plagues, trumpets, seals, bowls, thunders all take place after Jesus is enthroned in heaven and Satan is cast down to the earth. Jesus was not enthroned in 1914. When he is enthroned, all these other things will take place in rapid succession. Daniel shows we are near that time at present, because Putin is coming to his end, and there is no helper for him. Michael will stand up soon to take the throne and the great tribulation will begin. During that time, we will need to have strong love in order to endure. We must show love for not just our friends, but also for our enemies. We have to overcome these petty prejudices and foolish class distinctions. It is the only way to survive what is coming. "God is Love." We must have love for all our neighbors. It is the only way to survive. Ex-JW or JW, apostate or orthodox, whatever race, whatever sexual orientation, religious or atheist - "disfellowshipped" or "shunned" is not something that should be in the vocabulary of a true Christian...we must show love for all humans because they are made in God's image. It doesn't mean we have to agree with all their personal life choices or closely held doctrines. But we need to be willing to help them if they need help, if they are the ones beat-up on the side of the road. There are no caste systems in love. "Who of these three seems to you to have made himself neighbor to the man who fell victim to the robbers?” "He said: “The one who acted mercifully toward him.” "Jesus then said to him: “Go and do the same yourself.""
  2. Jesus taught that our Love should Overcome our Prejudice: "Now look! a man versed in the Law stood up to test him and said: “Teacher, what do I need to do to inherit everlasting life?” "He said to him: “What is written in the Law? How do you read?” "In answer he said: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole strength and with your whole mind’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’” "He said to him: “You answered correctly; keep doing this and you will get life.” "But wanting to prove himself righteous, the man said to Jesus: “Who really is my neighbor?” "In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jerʹi·cho and fell victim to robbers, who stripped him, beat him, and went off, leaving him half-dead. "Now by coincidence a priest was going down on that road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the opposite side. "Likewise, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the opposite side. "But a certain Sa·marʹi·tan traveling the road came upon him, and at seeing him, he was moved with pity. "So he approached him and bandaged his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them. "Then he mounted him on his own animal and brought him to an inn and took care of him. "The next day he took out two de·narʹi·i, gave them to the innkeeper, and said: ‘Take care of him, and whatever you spend besides this, I will repay you when I return.’ "Who of these three seems to you to have made himself neighbor to the man who fell victim to the robbers?” "He said: “The one who acted mercifully toward him.” "Jesus then said to him: “Go and do the same yourself."" Many ancient Jews were prejudiced against Samaritans. "Who really is my neighbor?" We are all neighbors on this earth. The planet is a small place, really. Some neighbors include...
  3. Good thing Jesus gave the advice to "put down the sword" (or the figurative smoking "gun")... Bad company Minus the "sword" = Better Company 🙂
  4. Jehovah's never "disfellowshipped" me. Why would I need to be "reinstated" as His Kid? That's ridiculous. I am witnessing by Christ's standards. He supported the lepers and the disfellowshipped. The Pharisees even called him and apostate - that's why they killed him. He said his followers would be mislabeled in the same way. I don't distort the Bible. You're right, it doesn't mean anything to say "Lord! Lord!" What matters is the heart. Jehovah can read my heart. Jehovah knows the intentions of the heart. He knew when Paul in his mistaken zeal was intent on harassing true worshippers. Jehovah forgave Paul and ended up using him to help a lot of people.
  5. @Pudgy I am just curious, why did you pick Satchel Pooch to be your profile image and not a different dog like Snoopy? (Do you guys have a favorite Psalm? I have many. Two Psalms that I like are Psalm 38 and Psalm 44.) Here is what they say: Psalm 38 "O Jehovah, do not reprove me in your anger, Nor correct me in your wrath. For your arrows have pierced deep into me, And your hand presses down on me. My whole body is sick because of your indignation. There is no peace within my bones because of my sin. For my errors loom over my head; Like a heavy burden, they are too much for me to bear. My wounds stink and fester Because of my foolishness. I am distressed and extremely downcast; I walk around sad all day long. There is a burning within me; My whole body is sick. I have grown numb and become completely crushed; My anguished heart makes me groan aloud. O Jehovah, all my desires are before you, And my sighing is not hidden from you. My heart pounds, my strength is gone, And the light of my eyes has left me. My friends and my companions avoid me because of my plague, And my close acquaintances keep their distance. Those seeking my life set traps; Those trying to harm me speak of ruin; They mutter deception all day long. But like someone deaf, I would not listen; Like someone speechless, I would not open my mouth. I have become like a man who cannot hear, Whose mouth has nothing to say in defense. For on you, O Jehovah, I waited, And you answered me, O Jehovah my God. For I said: “May they not gloat over me Or exalt themselves over me if my foot slips. For I was ready to collapse, And my pain was always with me. I confessed my error; I was troubled by my sin. But my enemies are vigorous and mighty, Those hating me for no reason have become numerous. They repaid me with bad for good; They were resisting me for pursuing what is good. Do not abandon me, O Jehovah. O God, do not remain far away from me. Do hurry to help me, O Jehovah, my salvation." Psalm 44 "O God, we have heard with our own ears, Our forefathers have recounted to us, The deeds you accomplished in their days, In the days of long ago. With your hand you drove away nations And settled our forefathers there. You crushed nations and drove them out. It was not by their own sword that they took possession of the land, And their own arm did not bring them victory. Rather, it was by your right hand and your arm and the light of your face, For you took pleasure in them. You are my King, O God; Command complete victory for Jacob. By your power we will drive back our adversaries; In your name we will trample down those who rise up against us. For I do not trust in my bow, And my sword cannot save me. It was you who saved us from our adversaries, You who humiliated those who hate us. To God we will offer praise all day long, And we will give thanks to your name forever. (Selah) But now you have cast us off and humiliated us, And you do not go out with our armies. You keep making us retreat from our adversary; Those who hate us take whatever they want. You hand us over to be devoured like sheep; You have scattered us among the nations. You sell your people for next to nothing; You make no profit from the sale. You make us a reproach to our neighbors, An object of ridicule and jeering to those all around us. You make us an object of scorn among the nations, Something for the peoples to shake their heads at. I feel humiliated all day long, And I am overwhelmed by my shame, On account of the sound of their taunts and insults, Because of our enemy who is taking revenge. All of this has come upon us, yet we have not forgotten you, And we have not violated your covenant. Our heart has not deviated; Our footsteps do not stray from your path. But you have crushed us where the jackals dwell; You have covered us with deep shadow. If we have forgotten the name of our God Or if we spread out our hands in prayer to a foreign god, Will not God discover this? He is aware of the secrets of the heart. For your sake we are being put to death all day long; We have been accounted as sheep for slaughtering. Rouse yourself. Why do you keep sleeping, O Jehovah? Awake! Do not keep casting us off forever. Why do you hide your face? Why do you forget our affliction and our oppression? For we have been brought down to the dust; Our bodies are pressed to the ground. Rise up as our helper! Rescue us because of your loyal love."
  6. I know you are not retarded, or stupid, by any means. You have a clearer world view than many people I've met. Yes, "in that context", I know. 🙂 (Why did you not think I was talking to @Mankeptforunnaturalporpoises?) May you have peace, my brother.💖 "Love hopes all things."
  7. I love you, my brother, and I will keep you in mind in my prayers, as I have been doing. Hope you have a good rest of your day.🥰
  8. So, do the experiment today. You'll get your "hard evidence". Then you can interpret it and evaluate it yourself instead of taking my word for it (or rejecting my word, as is the case at present). Instead of rejecting my word without any evidence to the contrary, do the "experiment" and then you'll have a better foundation to stand on, instead of just opinions and assumptions. I did the "experiment" and I got my first hand hard evidence. When was the last time you conducted that "experiment"? What prevents you from doing it today? "“What do you think? A man had two children. Going up to the first, he said, ‘Child, go work today in the vineyard.’ In answer this one said, ‘I will not,’ but afterward, he felt regret and went out. Approaching the second, he said the same. This one replied, ‘I will, Sir,’ but did not go out. Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said: “The first.” Jesus said to them: “Truly I say to you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are going ahead of you into the Kingdom of God. For John came to you in a way of righteousness, but you did not believe him. However, the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him, and even when you saw this, you did not feel regret afterward so as to believe him."" You're not the first one to say those words.
  9. Since we're talking about animals now, how about a horse joke... A young cowboy buys a horse from the town preacherman. The preacherman explains, “to make the horse go, you gotta yell, ‘Thank God!’ And to make it stop, yell, ‘Hallelujah.’” The cowboy rides off. He rides all day, gets tired, and starts to nod off in the saddle when he notices he is about to ride straight over a cliff. Searching his memory, he frantically yells to the horse, “Hallelujah! Hallelujah!” The horse grinds to a stop just at the edge of the cliff. The cowboy wipes the sweat off his forehead. ”Phew!” the cowboy sighs. “Thank God!”
  10. This. It’s a lot of verbiage. Hey, you guys, what’s an elephant’s favorite font to use? Ella font. 😆
  11. "Man gave names to all the animals In the beginning, in the beginning Man gave names to all the animals In the beginning, long time ago He saw an animal as smooth as glass Slithering his way through the grass He saw him dissappear by a tree near a lake" (Bob Dylan) Have you ever seen a snake, down by the lake? "Back to my home, I dare not go, for if I do, my mother will say..."
  12. ...speaking of floodwaters... "Come gather 'round peopleWherever you roamAnd admit that the watersAround you have grownAnd accept it that soonYou'll be drenched to the boneIf your time to you is worth savin'And you better start swimmin'Or you'll sink like a stoneFor the times they are a-changin'"
  13. (Funny to hear that, coming from multiple profiles.🥸😷🤠) Who is(are) the one(s) doing more typing really?
  14. Cut-n-paste, it's the wave of the future, lol... Seriously, though, prayer - what's the big deal? Why not try it? "Naaman", I know I'm just a "little girl" as far as understanding a lot of the life experience and battles you have gone through, and I know you have to keep up appearances. But really, who of your acquaintances will know if you try? What do you have to lose? Nothing. Evolutionary theorists believe in nothing anyway - they believe the end of life is nothing. You only have something to gain by trying. Why not just give it a try? (You just might like it!😃)
  15. "However, E·liʹsha sent a messenger to tell him: “Go, wash seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored, and you will be clean.” At this Naʹa·man became indignant and started to leave, saying: “Here I said to myself, ‘He will come out to me and stand here and call on the name of Jehovah his God, moving his hand back and forth over the leprosy to cure it.’ Are not the A·baʹnah and the Pharʹpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Can I not wash in them and become clean?” With that he turned and went away in a rage. His servants now approached him and said: “My father, if the prophet had told you to do something extraordinary, would you not do it? How much more, then, since he only said to you, ‘Wash and be clean’?” At that he went down and plunged into the Jordan seven times, according to the word of the man of the true God. Then his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little boy, and he became clean."
