You tend to talk about things that are bothering you, @boyle, so as to any female pedophile problem you have, here are some things to consider...

In ancient Israel, there were many forms of disgusting and sordid behavior. Child sacrifice. Baal worship, with male and female temple prostitutes. The people came out of Egypt and were given laws against bestiality and abuse, why? Because that's the kind of lifestyle they had known. That's what was going on in the cultures around them.

Rahab was from Jericho. Many false religions of old would make girls give their virginity at the "sacred temples" in a form of ritual prostitution. It was part of their culture. It was wrong and bad and disgusting, but many people took part in it and supported it. Woman allowed their children to go to the "temple" to be used in immoral ways.

Jehovah regulated polygamy because the people were already so prone to rebel against God's standards, He made the concession temporarily for polygamy, but can you imagine what a mess that would have been to live in such a household back then? We don't have to imagine - there is a Bible record. Before the Mosaic Law: Sarah and Hagar; Leah and Rachel and Bilhah and Zilpah. After the Mosaic Law: Hannah and Peninnah. And I'd hate to know how it went in Solomon's house.

When Jesus walked the earth, there was still immorality in Israel. Mary Magdalene had been abused by seven demons. The account in Noah tells us that wicked spirits used to materialize bodies and they would take anyone they chose. Can you imagine poor Mary Magdalene being abused by seven of them at once? What kinds of sick twisted immoral things did they put that woman through?

How about the woman in this account:

"Now one of the Pharisees kept asking him to dine with him. So he entered the house of the Pharisee and reclined at the table. And look! a woman who was known in the city to be a sinner learned that he was dining in the house of the Pharisee, and she brought an alabaster jar of perfumed oil.  Taking a position behind him at his feet, she wept and began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them off with the hair of her head. Also, she tenderly kissed his feet and poured the perfumed oil on them.

"Seeing this, the Pharisee who had invited him said to himself: “If this man were really a prophet, he would know who and what kind of woman it is who is touching him, that she is a sinner.”"

What kind of sinner was she? The Bible doesn't say. And yet Jesus said she was forgiven.

"But in reply Jesus said to him: “Simon, I have something to say to you.”

    "He said: “Teacher, say it!”

"“Two men were debtors to a certain lender; the one was in debt for 500 de·narʹi·i, but the other for 50.  When they did not have anything to pay him back with, he freely forgave them both. Therefore, which one of them will love him more?”

"In answer Simon said: “I suppose it is the one whom he forgave more.”

"He said to him: “You judged correctly.”

"With that he turned to the woman and said to Simon: “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet. But this woman wet my feet with her tears and wiped them off with her hair.  You gave me no kiss, but this woman, from the hour that I came in, did not stop tenderly kissing my feet.  You did not pour oil on my head, but this woman poured perfumed oil on my feet.  Because of this, I tell you, her sins, many though they are, are forgiven, because she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little.”

"Then he said to her: “Your sins are forgiven.”

"Those reclining at the table with him started to say among themselves: “Who is this man who even forgives sins?”

"But he said to the woman: “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Look, @boyle, the FDS may say what they say about whatever, but the Bible is God's Word.

Jesus came to save sinners. Even the foremost of sinners.

God hasn't made His judgment yet. Why have you?

You must be a love expert.

Well, speaking of "mature", the Bible says even Jesus matured in His love...

"And Jesus went on progressing in wisdom and in physical growth and in favor with God and men."

That's just the way he was raised.

He's just like His Dad. "God is Love."

"Then he went on to say to all: “If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake day after day and keep following me.""

    "evolution
    1. the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth.
    2. the gradual development of something, especially from a simple to a more complex form."
    (from Oxford Languages dictionary)

Love can "evolve" in the way of that second definition there.

"But speaking the truth, let us by love grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ.  From him all the body is harmoniously joined together and made to cooperate through every joint that gives what is needed. When each respective member functions properly, this contributes to the growth of the body as it builds itself up in love."

"As newborn infants, form a longing for the unadulterated milk of the word, so that by means of it you may grow to salvation, provided you have tasted that the Lord is kind."

"For God is my witness of how I am longing for all of you with such tender affection as Christ Jesus has.  And this is what I continue praying, that your love may abound still more and more with accurate knowledge and full discernment;  that you may make sure of the more important things, so that you may be flawless and not stumbling others up to the day of Christ;  and that you may be filled with righteous fruit, which is through Jesus Christ, to God’s glory and praise."

    Romans 12:9 in context:

"...the one who shows mercy, let him do it cheerfully. Let your love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is wicked; cling to what is good.  In brotherly love have tender affection for one another..."

    Proverbs 6:16-19:

    "There are six things that Jehovah hates;
Yes, seven things that he detests:
Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
A heart plotting wicked schemes, and feet that run quickly to evil,
A false witness who lies with every breath,
And anyone sowing contentions among brothers."

And yet Jehovah forgave Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Dan, Asher, Gad, Naphtali, Judah, Zebulun and Issachar, who were guilty of murder, immorality, bearing false witness, and extreme hatred of their own brother and their father as demonstrated by their willingness to lie to his face regarding Joseph and keep it a secret for years until it was Jehovah's time to reveal the matter. Jehovah forgave them and gave them an everlasting inheritance. Their names are the figurative foundation stones for Israel.

Proverbs chapter 8 is about Jesus. He is wisdom personified. He showed us what true wisdom is. Proverbs 8:13 says "The fear of Jehovah means the hating of bad. I hate self-exaltation and pride and the evil way and perverse speech," and yet Jesus ate with tax collectors and prostitutes, and many of the 12 apostles were fishermen. (Have you ever known any fishermen? Have you ever hung out with a fisherman?) Jesus is cool, and he knows how to have fun. He's not a Pharisee.

    Hebrews 10:26-31:

"For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left,  but there is a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a burning indignation that is going to consume those in opposition.  Anyone who has disregarded the Law of Moses dies without compassion on the testimony of two or three.  How much greater punishment do you think a person will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God and who has regarded as of ordinary value the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who has outraged the spirit of undeserved kindness with contempt?  For we know the One who said: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay.” And again: “Jehovah will judge his people.”  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God."

The "judgment" is future. It hasn't happened yet. It won't happen until Jesus gets here to judge at the end of the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation, way after Babylon the Great is destroyed. People still have time to change. It's not time to cut anybody off. It's time to let the light shine to all in the house. Jesus love is enough for them. There is still time to choose until the day for judgment arrives. We don't have to judge who is worthy of life. We just have to show love.

Like this: I love you @boyle. But I need not be considered. My love for you is just a pale reflection of Jehovah's love for you.

"But that the dead are raised up, even Moses made known in the account about the thornbush, when he calls Jehovah ‘the God of Abraham and God of Isaac and God of Jacob.’  He is a God, not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him."

"And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous."

"However, when Christ came as a high priest of the good things that have already taken place, he passed through the greater and more perfect tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.  He entered into the holy place, not with the blood of goats and of young bulls, but with his own blood, once for all time, and obtained an everlasting deliverance for us.  For if the blood of goats and of bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who have been defiled sanctifies for the cleansing of the flesh, how much more will the blood of the Christ, who through an everlasting spirit offered himself without blemish to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we may render sacred service to the living God."

The spiritually dead can come to life. The ransom is enough for them.

Jehovah did not create by means of evolution, but He did make it so that Hearts can "evolve". The spiritually dead can come to life.

Jesus came for both the grateful "dead" and the ungrateful "dead". Someday, many will "wake up" from the "dead" and sing praises to Jehovah: "Oh, Jehovah, how sweet it is to be loved by you!"

May you be among them, @boyle

Here's another "mystery" for evolutionary theorists...

    Agape love.

    "The Noblest Kind of Love
IN BY far the majority of instances in the Christian Greek Scriptures, or New Testament, the word “love” is a translation of the Greek word a·gaʹpe.
Explaining the meaning of that term, the reference work Insight on the Scriptures says: “[A·gaʹpe] is not sentimentality, based on mere personal attachment, as is usually thought of, but is a moral or social love based on deliberate assent of the will as a matter of principle, duty, and propriety, sincerely seeking the other’s good according to what is right. A·gaʹpe (love) transcends personal enmities, never allowing these to cause one to abandon right principles and to retaliate in kind.”
A·gaʹpe can also include deep feeling. “Have intense love [a·gaʹpe] for one another,” admonished the apostle Peter. (1 Peter 4:8) Thus, it could be said that a·gaʹpe involves the heart as well as the mind. Why not consider some scriptures that show the power and scope of this noble form of love? The following references may be helpful: Matthew 5:43-47; John 15:12, 13; Romans 13:8-10; Ephesians 5:2, 25, 28; 1 John 3:15-18; 4:16-21." (w03 7/1 p8)

"7. What is the nature of a·gaʹpe, and how has this love been shown?
7 What Greek word did Paul use at 1 Corinthians 13:13, where he mentioned faith, hope, and love and said that “the greatest of these is love”? Here the word is a·gaʹpe, the same one that the apostle John used when he said: “God is love.” (1 John 4:8, 16) This is a love guided or governed by principle. It may or may not include affection and fondness, but it is an unselfish emotion or feeling concerned with doing good to others regardless of the merits of the recipient or of any benefits accruing to the giver. Love of this kind caused God to give the dearest treasure of his heart, his only-begotten Son, Jesus Christ, “in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) As Paul so well reminds us: “Hardly will anyone die for a righteous man; indeed, for the good man, perhaps, someone even dares to die. But God recommends his own love to us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:7, 8) Yes, a·gaʹpe does good to others regardless of their status in life or the cost to the one expressing the love." (w90 11/15 p12)

    "What is agape love?
The Greek word agape is often translated “love” in the New Testament. How is “agape love” different from other types of love? The essence of agape love is goodwill, benevolence, and willful delight in the object of love. Unlike our English word love, agape is not used in the New Testament to refer to romantic or sexual love. Nor does it refer to close friendship or brotherly love, for which the Greek word philia is used. Agape love involves faithfulness, commitment, and an act of the will. It is distinguished from the other types of love by its lofty moral nature and strong character. Agape love is beautifully described in 1 Corinthians 13." (gotquestions.org)

The Watchtower of 1990 was wrong when it said "it may or may not include affection and fondness". If it doesn't have affection, then it's not love, it's duty. The writer of that article exposed his mixed motivations there.

True Agape Love ALWAYS includes affection. When Jesus washed Judas Iscariot's feet, Jesus had strong affection for Judas, even though Jesus knew Judas was about to betray him in a horrible way. That's why Love hurts sometimes. It costs something.

Preaching out of "duty" is not "agape". Taking care of one's family out of obligation is not "agape" it is "duty". When a person preaches or takes care of one's family out of "agape", there will always be affection as part of the motivation.

When Jehovah sent Jesus to buy us back from slavery, it was not out of "duty". It was not out of "moral obligation". It was out of strong affection, strong feeling. It was "agape" love.

When we love those who don't love us yet, it is evidence of Jehovah's holy spirit. If someone is hateful toward us and we ask Jehovah to help us love that person, then we feel strong affection for them, that is evidence of Jehovah's agape love through the spirit. That agape love did not "evolve" for any evolutionary advantage of the species. It is evidence of the Creator, Jehovah, the Source of Love.

"We love, because he first loved us."

"But God recommends his own love to us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

"Now because he knew before the festival of the Passover that his hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father, Jesus, having loved his own who were in the world, loved them to the end. The evening meal was going on, and the Devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Is·carʹi·ot, the son of Simon, to betray him. So Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands and that he came from God and was going to God, got up from the evening meal and laid aside his outer garments. And taking a towel, he wrapped it around his waist. After that he put water into a basin and started to wash the feet of the disciples and to dry them off with the towel that was wrapped around him. Then he came to Simon Peter. He said to him: “Lord, are you washing my feet?” Jesus answered him: “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will understand after these things.” Peter said to him: “You will certainly never wash my feet.” Jesus answered him: “Unless I wash you, you have no share with me.” Simon Peter said to him: “Lord, wash not only my feet but also my hands and my head.”  Jesus said to him: “Whoever has bathed does not need to have more than his feet washed, but is completely clean. And you men are clean, but not all of you.”  For he knew the man who was betraying him. This is why he said: “Not all of you are clean.”"

Jesus didn't wash Judas' feet out of moral obligation, or to fulfill some prophecy. He truly loved Judas. He had deep affection for him, even though he knew Judas was about to do a terrible thing. Jesus had agape love for Judas.

Jesus has that kind of love for all of us. He loves us all out of his own free will.

"For God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, so that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.  For God did not send his Son into the world for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him."

Jesus' love for us reflects Jehovah's love us.

"By this the love of God was revealed in our case, that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might gain life through him.  The love is in this respect, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins."

Jehovah loved us when we didn't even know He existed. With intense affection.

"You heard that it was said: ‘You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those who persecute you,  so that you may prove yourselves sons of your Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise on both the wicked and the good and makes it rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous.  For if you love those loving you, what reward do you have? Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing?  And if you greet your brothers only, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing?  You must accordingly be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

Jehovah has proven his Agape Love even without words all these years.

    "God is Love."

    (It's not a mystery.)

    Agape.💝

There are a lot of people who hide behind a mask or a profile or a puppet. I don't know the real names of many of them.

"Kermit" was such a nice puppet. Jim Henson's beautiful heart was made manifest through his creations, and "Kermit" was one of those lovely creations.

If "Kermit" was here (I mean, Jim Henson), I'd tell him that it's not "magic"; it's Jehovah's Love-Clean-Spirit-Power-Force that made the Rainbow, and it's Jehovah's Voice written in His Clean Word that we should listen to, not the other voices. Instead of wishing on a star, he would be wise to graciously incline his heart and humbly make requests to the One who made the stars. Maybe when "Kermit" wakes up, he will learn this song with the proper edits made in the vocabulary, an "evolution" of lyrics. How lovely it will be when we can all be a happy family, Jehovah's Family, Truly United In Love.💖🌈✨

For all the people behind the puppets/profiles/masks - a Love Song About Hope...

The Rainbow Connection, (written by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher)

"Why are there so many songs about rainbows,
and what's on the other side?

    Rainbows are visions,
    but only illusions,
and rainbows have nothing to hide.

So we've been told and some choose to believe it,
I know they're wrong, wait and see.

    Someday we'll find it,
    the rainbow connection,
the lovers, the dreamers, and me.

Who said that every wish would be heard and answered,
when wished on the morning star?

    Somebody thought of that,
    and someone believed it.
Look what it's done so far.

What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing,
and what do we think we might see?

    Someday we'll find it,
    the rainbow connection,
the lovers, the dreamers, and me.

All of us under it's spell,
we know that it's probably magic.

Have you been half asleep, and have you heard voices?
I've heard them calling my name.

Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailor?
The voice might be one and the same.

I've heard it too many times to ignore it.
It's something that I'm supposed to be.

    Someday we'll find it,
    the rainbow connection,
the lovers, the dreamers, and me.

La da da di da da doo.

I can organize my closet in different ways. I can organize the clothes by color. Or I can organize them by type of clothing (blouses together, skirts together, etc.) Perhaps I might organize them by season, putting the winter clothes on one side and the summer clothes on the other side. There is more than one way to organize a closet.

If I were to look into my closet and say that since my blue skirt is next to my blue blouse, they must have originated from the same piece of cloth, well, that's not necessarily true just because they're both blue.

Carl Linnaeus organized creation in a list or chart in the way that made sense to him. It wasn't bad. But the list didn't mean that the creatures evolved into one another or had a "common ancestor". The list was just a tool to organize.

When Moses wrote down the first chapter of the Bible, he organized it in a way that made sense to him. He talked about creatures that can fly, creatures that swim, and creatures that crawl. It was just another way of organizing information. Moses didn't mean that one type evolved into another type, or that all swimming creatures are more closely related to each other just because he grouped them together. He was just listing the information in a way that made sense.

You can list bats with rodents if you want, because they look like rodents. But if you want you can list them with birds, because they also fly. You can make a different type of list and put them with other animals that are the same color if you want. Or you can make a list of animals that are approximately the same length and weight.

Evolutionary theorists get so bogged down on the tool that was initially designed to help organize information - the "tree" or "chart" or "list" - and they turned it into a god. They worship the god of lists. And now there is a whole cult of list-worshippers who have their own cult myths (Darwin's theories and many others, it's kind of like Hindu religion with innumerable acceptable ways you can believe evolution) and "priests" (the evolutionary "scientists" and other "experts") and media propagating the cult of evolution. If you don't believe in the god of lists, you will be shunned or ridiculed by the evolutionary community.

Moses used the word we translate as "kinds." Different species of bears are still the same kind of animal. They are bears. The Bible is accurate and trustworthy. Praise Jehovah.

How evolutionary theory evolves...an illustrative short story:

So you've got a bunch of guys in khaki shorts running around with a few tiny pieces of what they think might be old human bones. They only have a few little pieces, so they use artists to make up a good guess of what the rest of the skeleton would look like. Then they do a computer animation and add guesses on layers of muscle, skin, etc. The guy doing the computer art doesn't believe in God, and he's watched a lot of cave man movies since he was a kid, so he adds a ton of hair to this creation of his and makes him look kinda dumb. Another guy writes a book based on what he thinks it might have been like to be a cave man (even though this guy grew up in an apartment in the city). A third guy builds the exhibit in the museum based on the book. Now Hollywood comes in and starts making movies and cartoons and t-shirts with cave men based on the museum exhibit.

They only had a handful of old bones. They don't even really know what creature the bones belonged to. Sometimes they make up a new creature. "It's a new humanoid." Pick a cool latin name. They just make up so much of it.

Next you get tons of kids wanting to be in that field of study, because of the Hollywood movies. Colleges all over the country offer more and more courses in the field. All the professors and upper level grads need to keep publishing. "Publish or perish." Everybody becomes a new "expert". And it's all based on a handful of a few old bones.

Regular, imperfect people who need to make money for a living write the articles for National Geographic and Smithsonian, the same as regular, imperfect people write articles for the Watchtower. Neither are inspired of God.

What most evolutionists don't tell you is that the finches that Darwin studied changed their beaks to adapt to the only food source - and then turned back again when the other food source became available again. However, the finches never became eagles or any other bird - they remained finches.

Land bridges disappeared such as Doggerland. Apparently there were many islands between India, Indonesia and Australia, which formed a land bridge.

And did you know that over eons Fozzie Bear evolved into Yoda? (… albeit in a galaxy, far, far away ….)
    Proof?

Listen to their voices! Look at the hair in Yoda’s ears!
They BOTH sound EXACTLY like Frank Oz!
… and by counting the ear hairs and multiplying by 3.14159 you can prove mathematically boyle is smarter than everyone here!
…. Yeah, it was a surprise to me, too!

You know, there is this one time in the Bible that a man spoke of evolutionary theory. He said that these elements came together with the aid of a super-heated catalyst and formed a creature.

"And Moses said to Aaron: “What did this people do to you that you have brought a great sin upon them?”  Aaron replied: “Do not be enraged, my lord. You well know that the people are inclined to do evil.  So they said to me, ‘Make for us a god who will go ahead of us, for we do not know what has happened to this Moses, the man who led us up out of the land of Egypt.’  So I said to them, ‘Whoever has any gold must take it off and give it to me.’ Then I threw it into the fire and out came this calf.”

"Evolutionary theory" was a lie even back then. It didn't go so well for Aaron at that point in his life. It was fear that motivated him to make stuff up. He knew Jehovah was real. He saw all the plagues in Egypt. He knew the histories. He was just scared and didn't want to face the music after he made a mistake. He didn't make the same mistake twice, thankfully.

What are you talking about, @boyle? What "other forms" of evolution are you talking about? Dinosaurs are extinct. Death is not a form of evolution. We used to have chickens in our backyard, but they did NOT evolve from dinosaurs. That only happens in the movies.
