Yeah … I once chased a CocaCola Swat Team/Lawyer Van through Toontown, and the back doors opened and they threw out a sacrificial Lawyer.
The only option was to shoot an extremely adorable cute dog, which would be bad publicity.

The way it has been explained, and the way I have witnessed it, is that slimeballs lift their copyrighted material, insert it into a maligning context, and beat them over the head with it. To the point where they say, ‘Enough! Nobody can use our copyrighted stuff!’ It is pretty standard practice and many companies enforce copyright to a far greater degree.
A friend of mine does miniatures, small-time scenes of Americana. At a festival where many participants displayed such scenarios, Coca Cola came down on them all very threateningly for any sign that in any way specifically mentioned their trademarked products—say, a tiny truck saying Drink CocaCola. All removed any such Coke references so as not to be target of a lawsuit.

It is good to respect the authorities. The highest authority is Jehovah.

"Render to all their dues: to the one who calls for the tax, the tax; to the one who calls for the tribute, the tribute; to the one who calls for fear, such fear; to the one who calls for honor, such honor. Do not owe anything to anyone except to love one another; for whoever loves his fellow man has fulfilled the law.  For the law code, “You must not commit adultery, you must not murder, you must not steal, you must not covet,” and whatever other commandment there is, is summed up in this saying: “You must love your neighbor as yourself.”  Love does not work evil to one’s neighbor; therefore, love is the law’s fulfillment."

I am glad you respect the copyright people so much, Tom. It's good to see your love in action. I can tell you really care about those people who make the copyright laws, and you are concerned for their welfare. (Somebody has to care about the poor Watchtower lawyers...) I care about them too. That's why I wrote to them so many times about what's going to happen soon at Bethel.

"After they arrived in Ca·perʹna·um, the men collecting the two drachmas tax approached Peter and said: “Does your teacher not pay the two drachmas tax?”  He said: “Yes.” However, when he entered the house, Jesus spoke to him first and said: “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive duties or head tax? From their sons or from the strangers?”  When he said: “From the strangers,” Jesus said to him: “Really, then, the sons are tax-free."

If the FDS wants to sue a faithful member of the bride of Christ for making use of the publications to share light, just add it to their running tab. Jesus will make an accounting.

Of course, if the resurrections began one billion years from now, I suppose (presumably) that technically it would be accurate to say they started after the fall of Babylon the Great.
I believe the term for that, of which you may be familiar, is “Gross Prophet margin”.

Back on the topic of "heavenly resurrection", I guess it's no surprise that some today think the heavenly resurrection of the anointed already occurred. The "window test" shows that it didn't happen yet. Those anointed ones who are asleep in death will be resurrected at the appointed time.

    Hmm, Peter Boyle...

There is also a Peter in the Blues Traveler song "Hook"...

"It doesn't matter what I say
So long as I sing with inflection
That makes you feel I'll convey
Some inner truth or vast reflection
But I've said nothing so far
And I can keep it up for as long as it takes
And it don't matter who you are
If I'm doing my job, it's your resolve that breaks
Because the hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
    The hook brings you back
    On that you can rely
    There is something amiss
    I am being insincere
In fact I don't mean any of this
Still my confession draws you near
To confuse the issue I refer
To familiar heroes from long ago
No matter how much Peter loved her
What made the Pan refuse to grow
Was that hook brings you back
I ain't tellin' you no lie
    The hook brings you back
    On that you can rely..."

I wonder if there's any relation.

Or maybe it's more like Robert Boyle? Sounds like he's kind of into particle theory...

"Corpuscularianism (from the Latin corpusculum meaning "little body") is a set of theories that explain natural transformations as a result of the interaction of particles(minima naturalia, partes exiles, partes parvae, particulae, and semina).[1] It differs from atomism in that corpuscles are usually endowed with a property of their own and are further divisible, while atoms are neither. Although often associated with the emergence of early modern mechanical philosophy, and especially with the names of Thomas Hobbes,[2] René Descartes,[3] Pierre Gassendi,[4] Robert Boyle,[4] Isaac Newton,[5] and John Locke,[4] corpuscularian theories can be found throughout the history of Western philosophy." Here are some interesting quotes by Boyle Roche, Irish politician (1736-1807):

"Mr Speaker, I smell a rat; I see him forming in the air and darkening the sky; but I will nip him in the bud."

"The only thing to prevent what's past is to put a stop to it before it happens."

"Half the lies our opponents tell about us are untrue."

"Every pint bottle should contain a quart."

"I answer in the affirmative with an emphatic 'No.'"

No wonder politicians get a bad reputation!

"“If a person develops a boil on his skin and it heals, but in the place of the boil a white swelling or a reddish-white blotch has developed, he must then show himself to the priest.  The priest will examine it, and if it appears to be deeper than the skin and its hair has turned white, the priest will then declare him unclean. It is the disease of leprosy that has broken out in the boil.  But if the priest examines it and sees that there is no white hair in it and it is not deeper than the skin and appears faded, the priest will then quarantine him for seven days. And if it has clearly spread on the skin, the priest will then declare him unclean. It is a disease. But if the blotch stays in one place and has not spread, it is only the inflammation from the boil, and the priest will declare him clean."

There is still a lot of work to do once the great tribulation begins. When Babylon the Great is destroyed, all the false doctrines in Jehovah’s organization will also be removed. The 1914 doctrine will be gone. The way the disfellowshipping doctrine is improperly taught will be done away with. The “Faithful and Discreet Slave” teaching will be removed. The light will be bright and Jesus and the angels will be at the forefront of the work. A great crowd from the nations will join us during the great tribulation after the plagues when they see how Jehovah is the true God. There is still a ton of preaching to do, even after the Bethels are attacked by the UN. (Moses and Elijah didn’t have a Bethel or special publications to be able to preach. Jehovah was with them. He will be with us in the work too.)

It will be 3 1/2 years that the UN rules and the great tribulation lasts. (Also known as 42 months or the appointed times or a time times and half a time.)

At certain foretold points from when that tribulation begins, (five months, 1,150 days, 1,260 days, 1,290 days, 1,335 days) there will be specific events as foretold, such as the cutting short of the attack on religion, the refinement of the organization complete, the resurrection of the anointed, the marriage of the Lamb, and the final battle of Armageddon.

Praise Jehovah, the One who tells the finale from the beginning.

The UN is an extension of the horn, from Greece to US/UK to UN. It is the UN during the great tribulation who will harass the anointed.

While @Kosonen seems to have gotten stumbled by embracing some astrology stuff, he was right about the timing of certain events being related to the 2,300 mornings and evenings, only the 2,300 mornings and evenings are actually 1,150 days (since a day equals 1/2 day plus 1/2 day…or a day equals one morning plus one evening). That fits into the 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation timeline.

    Regarding the two witnesses…

The “two witnesses” of Revelation are illustrative of the anointed remnant during the time of the great tribulation when they do a specific preaching work.

Jesus’ transfiguration pictures him with “Elijah and Moses”, the figurative two witnesses, after Jesus takes the throne.

Zechariah’s vision of the two olive trees and the two lampstands also illustrates the job of the two witnesses.

Jesus told his disciples that John the Baptist was an “Elijah”, however Revelation was written after John the Baptist, which shows the “two witnesses” are not two literal people, it is figurative.

The timeframe of the fulfillment regarding the two witnesses is shown by these verses: “But as for the courtyard that is outside the temple sanctuary, leave it out and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city underfoot for 42 months.  I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days dressed in sackcloth.”  These are symbolized by the two olive trees and the two lampstands and are standing before the Lord of the earth.”

The “two witnesses” of Revelation 11 do not appear until the great tribulation begins. They are identifiable by means of their actions during the great tribulation.

Plagues in Egypt showed the false gods to be false. Moses was used as God’s representative for calling out those plagues.

Elijah called down plagues also to prove the false gods to be false, fire from heaven or shutting up the rain. Elijah was God’s representative for calling out those plagues.

Other parts of Revelation detail different aspects of the plagues that will take place during the great tribulation. The rulers of this system will be seen to be false gods. The leaders of religious institutions will be seen to be false gods. They will not shed their light. Their “life-giving waters” and works will be exposed as bloodguilty.

The two witnesses work with the myriads of angels in this plaguing as is seen in the following verses from Revelation chapter 9: ““Untie the four angels who are bound at the great river Eu·phraʹtes.”  And the four angels who have been prepared for the hour and day and month and year were untied to kill a third of the people. The number of the armies of cavalry was two myriads of myriads; I heard the number of them.  And this is how I saw the horses in the vision and those seated on them: They had fire-red and hyacinth-blue and sulfur-yellow breastplates, and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions, and fire and smoke and sulfur came out of their mouths.  A third of the people were killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the sulfur that came out of their mouths. For the authority of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents and have heads, and with these they inflict harm. But the rest of the people who were not killed by these plagues did not repent of the works of their hands; they did not stop worshipping the demons and the idols of gold and silver and copper and stone and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. And they did not repent of their murders nor of their spiritistic practices nor of their sexual immorality nor of their thefts.”

Those plagued are not literally “killed” but rather some become dead to their false worship, just as the plagues by Moses and Elijah helped some people to stop worshipping false gods in the past.

“So we have the prophetic word made more sure, and you are doing well in paying attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place (until day dawns and a daystar rises) in your hearts.  For you know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation.  For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were moved by holy spirit…”

Hopefully they are the same things, but so far, human interpretation has left a lot to be desired.

@EsADmf Here is a little bit more on that Canadian court case that shows the Watchtower lawyers under oath lying about how disfellowshipping is done in the organization...(again, I do not necessarily hold the same beliefs and viewpoints as the publisher of the video; but it does show the hypocrisy going on in the organization as regards this doctrine.) Jesus will come and fix it. He will cleanse Jehovah's organization for Jehovah's Name Sake.

(And just a note that I do not agree with everything the publisher of this video does or believes in, but this particular clip shows the "different" forms of shunning in the organization and how what is publicly described by the organization doesn't match what actually happens...)
