Unfortunately, that's how he deals with facts. He makes up things as he goes along, and when he is caught, he lashes out. There can be only one winner, that would be him. Then he starts to insult and fight, just to get rid of people that challenge his kind of facts. None facts.

Then what's your argument if you don't give a darn. Are you talking to yourself? The public has the right to know? 🤣

Wow! Relevance. What an excuse to go against't what is written in Isaiah, and the Gospels about Christ fulfillment.
I don't recall where an intelligent person would consider equating suicide with Christ sacrifice for all humanity and suggest he committed suicide because it was written about such sacrifice.
    Sad day for scripture.

I am referring more in line with what your friend James is wanting to tell people. Suicide is not a sin. IN the Catholic Church, Fathers believe they can remove sin by confession. So, James is more inline with the Catholic Ideology about sin.
Most honest Christians faiths believe suicide is sin.

Now, in understanding what is suicide, don't just look at man's definition of that would.
Scripture and Man's dictionary don't sync in this case. An example would be, if a person committed suicide by cop. Who is judged?
(James 2:10-13) 10 For if anyone obeys all the Law but makes a false step in one point, he has become an offender against all of it. 11 For the one who said, “You must not commit adultery,” also said, “You must not murder.” If, now, you do not commit adultery but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of law. 12 Keep on speaking and behaving in such a way as those do who are going to be judged by the law of a free people. 13 For the one who does not practice mercy will have his judgment without mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

In those cases, both the cop and the subject will be judged.

He's always been that way. You just don't know him very well. The more he is wrong, the more aggressive he gets. Some others do the same, and then posters disappear because of them.

JW's shouldn't believe in man's tradition. That being said, I hear your threat, Tom. Exit stage right. I'll return when there's another prophetic year of interest. Hope you're still around.

No! The circumstance is too broad. Therefore, unattainable. Not only did he serve Satan's purpose, but committed suicide for the harm he felt he had done. Judas Iscariot had, full faculties and wasn't mentally challenged. His anguish defeated him. So, John 5:30 doesn't apply unless someone at that time judged him and hung him for committing the most heinous crime known to man, giving up God's son for 30 pieces of silver.

I made a similar comment about motive and circumstance. However, the erred view would be to suggest, God has no judgment at the moment of that act of suicide. We shouldn't pretend to know what God is thinking other than, he holds every life precious.
To me, the accountability has manifested to the second death. Jude 1:12, Revelation 21:8. Why, would Jesus resurrect those he plans to condemn in the first resurrection? It makes no sense.

    Actually, Anna said the above…

    What about Judas Iscariot?
Jesus said he was the “son of destruction” = will inherit destruction.
When I was with them, I used to watch over them on account of your own name, which you have given me; and I have protected them, and not one of them is destroyed except the son of destruction, so that the scripture might be fulfilled. John 17:12

@Anna, @Thinking The purpose of scripture is not to interpret like the Pharisees.
(James 4:13-17) 13 Come, now, you who say: “Today or tomorrow we will travel to this city and will spend a year there, and we will do business and make some profit,” 14 whereas you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then disappears. 15 Instead, you should say: “If Jehovah wills, we will live and do this or that.” 16 But now you take pride in your arrogant boasting. All such boasting is wicked. 17 Therefore, if someone knows how to do what is right and yet does not do it, it is a sin for him.

Now who's desperate, James. The most outrages example about Christ. Are you sure you're not related to "witness?"

How would you justify to the public Romans 6:23 as you relate with suicide. You just said it. Christ paid a heavy price for our mortals souls. Does a person committing suicide value that sacrifice?

That's the problem. I don't believe you fully understand the wages of sin. Just because we're imperfect, doesn't give a Christian, pretend or not the excuse or make it a justification to continue to sin

I'm glad you posted this, James. That just means I don't have to prove anything to you as well. What you do have to do is, prove yourself to God. I hope you have a mental picture when you get judged. Tell God how you animatedly believe suicide is not a sin, just because you don't understand scripture.
Keep on mentioning to the public your false assertions that they may follow such ideologies. Maybe someone will take you up on your offer, which will make it a Blood guilt for you. Either way, you lose.

You just finished expressing the same thing I did on my previous post about motive and circumstance. Glad it finally sunk in, that God will judge "any individual" for their conduct in this world, suicide included. Now, the question that should have been asked, were these two individuals at one point JW's? And if so, then they should have understood about "sin no more"  John 8:11, meant. A Christian cannot separate one from the other, even if a person is going through a mental breakdown. That person will still be judged by God, not by man, but by God as I expressed, earlier.
Then society would be no better if we succumb to what is indicated in 1 John 3:4. There's no such thing as a free pass, when it comes to the taking of a human life.
What is wrong and has been on the last post is, the assumption posters are having that suicide has no accountability. It does by God's judgment. No one said "anything" about human judgment, but Godly judgment.
So, our business is to let others know, suicide is a BIG thing in the eyes of God. Now, those that don't have a mental capacity, are usually cared for by others. If that individual commit suicide, outside the watch of others in his/her care, then the blood guilt falls on the caretaker. ACCOUNTABILITY!!!!

Perhaps in some cases. Mentally illness or not. God will make that distinction. What we can't say, What will God do when judging a person. You and @Pudgy are animate to affirm, suicide is not a sin, when scripture says otherwise.

No sis, it was directed to @Pudgy that wants to force an unintelligent response. He is equating the death of Christ because Jesus was on earth to fulfill a prophecy by twisting scripture in suggesting Jesus committed suicide by allowing the Roman soldiers to take him captive, even though the first ones that took him captive were the Pharisees guards.
Then He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you, everything which has been written about Me in the Law of Moses and the [writings of the] Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.
(Romans 10:16-21) 16 Nevertheless, they did not all obey the good news. For Isaiah says: “Jehovah, who has put faith in the thing heard from us?” 17 So faith follows the thing heard. In turn, what is heard is through the word about Christ. 18 But I ask, They did not fail to hear, did they? Why, in fact, “into all the earth their sound went out, and to the ends of the inhabited earth their message.” 19 But I ask, Israel did not fail to know, did they? First Moses says: “I will incite you to jealousy through that which is not a nation; I will incite you to violent anger through a foolish nation.” 20 But Isaiah becomes very bold and says: “I was found by those who were not seeking me; I became known to those who were not asking for me.” 21 But he says regarding Israel: “All day long I have spread out my hands toward a disobedient and obstinate people.”
(John 5:39-47) 39 “You are searching the Scriptures because you think that you will have everlasting life by means of them; and these are the very ones that bear witness about me. 40 And yet you do not want to come to me so that you may have life. 41 I do not accept glory from men, 42 but I well know that you do not have the love of God in you. 43 I have come in the name of my Father, but you do not receive me. If someone else came in his own name, you would receive that one. 44 How can you believe, when you are accepting glory from one another and you are not seeking the glory that is from the only God? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father; there is one who accuses you, Moses, in whom you have put your hope. 46 In fact, if you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47 But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe what I say?”

Did you see my scriptural responses, Pudgy?
I was primarily trying to communicate with you - you kept wanting to consider Scriptures relevant to the deaths of Judge Samson and King Saul.

Then consider this example an ask yourself. How many sins did this person commit before considering suicide?
You and @Pudgy aren't seeing the full picture of what scripture relates.
*** wp16 No. 1 p. 8 Give Me Just One Year of Peace and Happiness ***
When I was 15 years old, my mother encouraged me to get out of the house and make some friends. So I began to leave home for longer and longer periods of time. Soon I fell into bad company. One day a man, who seemed friendly, approached me. He offered me drugs, which I took because I wanted to appear grown-up. I was quickly drawn into an underworld of drugs and immorality. On many occasions, I was violated sexually. Life became unimportant to me; I did not care if I lived or died. I was desperately lonely. At age 16, I attempted suicide by drinking a bottle of whiskey and jumping into a lake. I wound up in a coma for three days.
