So I just talked to someone who worked in the four major NY locations: Brooklyn, Patterson, Wallkill and Warwick. There were water problems with all 4. Patterson was the worst and they had to retrofit the pipes because of the mineral deposits. It was easily predictable according to the engineers, but the expensive outside engineers were quickly replaced with Bethel insiders. There were runoff problems up in Wallkill and no one can pump water from the aquifer there anyway, so they decided on a reservoir instead of the local Wallkill River. In so doing they discovered new problems for engineers to handle (some self-made over the years). The problems in Warwick were resolved after clean-up of the nickel and related minerals, but the lake water is considered very sensitive for several environmental reasons. Much of the planning had to do with level of water usage, where water comes from for fire dept utilization, what goes into the lake, what comes out of the lake.
All in all, it was the water. Warwick deals with the Sterling Lake and the Sterling Forest State Park and therefore extends their coverage for Water and environmental issues down into the Greenwood Lake and Sterling Forest Lake where the JW HQ sits. They are already connected by a stream between them, too.

I will create a club on here for JW's that feel as you do. I too sometimes feel frustration when conversations are constantly being turned back into pedophilia etc. on unrelated topics.

It is a good thing anyway to see the Netherlands authorities making some kind of a start to get to grips with this problem.

We don't appear to be overly dogmatic about this anyway. Yet another non-issue.

I do not believe Jehovah would allow some human/humans to silence his anointed, especially as you say, the anointed would be of paramount importance in disclosing the truth about Him in the “last days”. I am satisfied that these fundamental truths have been disclosed. I do not find them all together in one place anywhere among Christendom’s religions and sects, I don’t find them in Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism or any other religion but Jehovah’s Witnesses.
To your other point, saying that we cannot be sure how God’s name was pronounced, and why not call him Yahweh etc. well sure I would call him Yahweh but I speak English, and in English it is Jehovah. Many names are written and pronounced quite differently depending on what language you speak. So concerns and arguments about the exact pronunciation of God’s name are moot and kind of pointless really.

@Jack Ryan I remember when I was younger this was talked about. It is in the same category of "why do round pizzas come in square boxes" and a list of other things. Another thing is people ten to use men having nipples as a means of attesting to evolution, which has been debunked.

That's an upvote too. But you can only give one response here, and I laughed longer and louder.

This beggars belief. Has anyone heard of other cases where prosecution has factored religious belief on the condition of the dead as a component of a "guilty" verdict? I mean are all the Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, Jewish, Muslim,  etc. folk who get accused of murder said to be emboldened because they believed their alleged victims are actually alive after death?

Your conduct in this at present classes you quite squarely with the people you condemn. You're seeming to be cut in the same spineless, self-saving mode. And the little children? ...Why , just let them suffer. 
You might be thinking that turning your back on those whom you define as ones who "have the full information" might in some way exonerate you, but really, you are just seeming to fill up the measure of Zeph.13:4.

Anyway, I don't think you are a bad man Mr B. at the moment. You leave yourself too exposed for that. I think  Anna has you pretty well taped on this so I'm going to live up to my tag here. You've had your advice and chosen to ignore it.

I often wondered why military uniforms had so many patches, braids, medals, and other stuff on them.
Then I realized that men were decorated up like that so that people who "knew the code" could tell at a glance your entire history and experience level, and your motivation levels, and other factors ... like a ten page resume that could be evaluated in two seconds.
I see nothing wrong with announcing that someone is willing to Pioneer ... go out for "sustained combat".
It is hard work, and perhaps they will need encouragement or some physical assistance.
Give honor where it is due!
I would like to see something like the U.S. Congressional Medal of Honor or some other appropriate award for "I survived Bethel"....
