The world's coral reefs are truly a great gift from Jehovah..........but, this is an example of what man is doing to these reefs, this photograph was taken on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and quite a percentage has been killed-off due to bleaching. this is snippet rom the original article: “We didn’t expect to see this level of destruction to the Great Barrier Reef for another 30 years,” said Terry P. Hughes, director of a government-funded center for coral reef studies at James Cook University in Australia and the lead author of a paper on the reef that is being published Thursday as the cover article of the journal Nature. “In the north, I saw hundreds of reefs — literally two-thirds of the reefs were dying and are now dead.”" "Severe bleaching last year on the northern Great Barrier Reef affected even the largest and oldest corals, like this slow-growing Porites colony." (This was the caption for the photograph) Bleaching is still going on this year due to above average temperatures they are experiencing in Queensland.

Spring Came Early. Scientists Say Climate Change Is a Culprit.
John Lindsay Barltrop replied to a topic in Topics
...........but Sister Nicole, Donald "Duck" says that climate change is a hoax.........just something invented by the Chinese????? -
"........these special shepherd dog's are very needful and clever......." Queen Esther, you are certainly right there...........many years ago I used to go to the Royal Adelaide Show, and one of the contests that I loved watching was the sheep dog trials...........it was a timed event where the sheep dogs had to get a small flock of sheep through a gate and then into a pen..........the farmer would just stand in one spot and control the dog just by whistling. The Kelpie (shown below) is also used extensively as sheep dogs in Australia

Wise in Heart”—Yet Humble!
John Lindsay Barltrop replied to Bible Speaks's topic in Jehovah’s Witnesses's Topics
"Similarly, a supertanker may coast onward for five miles [8 km] after the engines are shut off. Even if the engines are thrown into reverse, the tanker may still plow on for two miles [3 km]! It is similar with human organizations that are prone to rigidity and unreasonableness." How true that is...........I was aboard the Royal Australian Navy's aircraft carrier HMAS "Melbourne" on February 10th 1964 off the coast of Jervis Bay (about 85 Nautical miles South of Sydney, NSW)..........it was nearly 2100 and the "Melbourne" collided with the destroyer HMAS "Voyager" ...........it actually cut the destroyer in half, just behind the bridge..........82 sailors lost their lives. I spent most of the night out in one of the rescue boats (one of Melbourne's motor boats) When the collision was imminent, FULL ASTERN was ordered..........although the engines were going full astern the ship still had an ahead speed of about 20 knots when the collision occurred..........certainly a night......and years I do not wish to remember. In 1968 the "Melbourne" was involved in another collision in the South China Sea with an American destroyer USS "Frank E Evans" (also cut in half).....this cost the lives of 74 American sailors............even though I was on leave at the time, when I heard that news the bad memories came flooding back...........I refused to go back to sea, I was later diagnosed with PTSD, and I am still on happy pills. I have never spent another night at sea. But, to erase all these memories I will just have to wait until Jehovah brings in the promised paradise to be free from this memory, although Jehovah will resurrect all those who have lost their lives at sea.........and this is a comforting thought. -
......We read regarding the sufferings of his people Israel: “During all their distress it was distressing to him.” (Isaiah 63:9)........ When we consider the ancient Nation of Israel, it certainly shows us how forgiving Jehovah can be, they must have really caused him grief. Here they were, they had witnessed the ten plagues, they were delivered from the hands of the Egyptians, they were part of the miracle of crossing the red Sea..........they had been part of all that and only a short time after they convinced Aaron to build a golden calf that they could worship...........in a question from readers in the WT it made the point: "Moses thereafter told the people: “You have sinned with a great sin.”" (Ex. 32:30) Thus, Aaron was not the only one who bore a measure of guilt for the wrongdoing. Both he and the people benefited from Jehovah’s great mercy.".........Aaron caved into the pressure of those that wanted the golden calf That was only one example........we know there are many more that show us that they just did not want to listen to the creator most of the time (Ex 34:8, 9; Ne 9:16, 17; Jeremiah 7:21-26; Ezekiel 3:7) and through all this Jehovah showed them love, patience and long suffering (just to mention a couple of Jehovah's attributes)..............What a marvellous God we worship.

Nick Vujicic - "Something More" Music Video
John Lindsay Barltrop replied to a topic in Jehovah’s Witnesses's Topics
Thank you Kurt, the video depicts the hopelessness that many people face today in this Satanic world and how one man could affect their lives..............if only these ones could realise that one man has offered a hope for all humankind, Jesus Christ, and that through his ransom sacrifice he has opened the way everlasting life in a paradise earth..............IF only they would take note of Jehovah's requirements found in his Word............But, unfortunately most are like those in the day of Noah, typified by what Peter said at 2 Peter 3:4-6 -
Yes Queen Esther, but around our territory there is still quite a bit of interest...........in the last three months I have obtained 40 new return visits, and 4 of us do business territory once a month for 2-3 hours and in the last two months (working in pairs we placed 126 Brochures........only had 2 refusals from Commonwealth Government Departments due to their regulations)...........so while we long for that New World, there is still all this interest.............however we know that it s all up to Jehovah, when He says enough, we can be sure it will be enough............and it does not stop us longing for that promised paradise. As last weeks WT Study pointed out our love for Jehovah, His word and a belief in His promises for the future are an anchor for our faith, particularly in these last days.

Thank you so much for that beautiful presentation of song 139 ("Sing Out Joyfully" o Jehovah), it certainly brought a tear to eye. My late wife loved this song and I had this sung at her memorial service...........and I am so looking forward to that time when we see that all is new and be with her once again. Again thank you
