An  Angel  Foretells  Christ's  Birth  to  Mary....
The angel Gabriel, sent from the presence of God, announces to the young Mary her future role as the mother of the child Jesus. Jehovah does not insist that we learn a specific language in order for us to get to know him or his purposes. (Rev. 7:9, 10) Has GodÂ’s communication with humans been hindered by the use of different languages and minor variations in translation? No. For example, we may be aware of only a few of the original-language words that Jesus used. (Matt. 27:46; Mark 5:41; 7:34; 14:36) However, Jehovah made sure that JesusÂ’ message was transmitted in Greek and, in time, in other languages. Later, Bible manuscripts were copied again and again by Jews and Christians, preserving the holy writings. These were translated into many more languages. John Chrysostom of the fourth/fifth century C.E. said that by his day, JesusÂ’ teachings had been translated into the languages of the Syrians, Egyptians, Indians, Persians, Ethiopians, and innumerable other peoples. w15 12/15 1:10, 11

A word spoken at the right time—how good it is!—Prov. 15:23.
Our words may be just what our hearer truly needs, but unless we discern the best time to speak, their meaning could be lost. For example, in March 2011 an earthquake and tsunami devastated parts of eastern Japan, wiping out entire cities. More than 15,000 lost their lives. Although JehovahÂ’s Witnesses in the area suffered along with their neighbors, they took advantage of every opportunity to use the Bible to comfort those who were mourning. However, many of the local people have deep-rooted Buddhist beliefs and little or no knowledge of Bible teachings. Our brothers discerned that immediately following the tsunami was not necessarily the best time to tell the grief-stricken victims about the resurrection hope. Instead, they used their gift of speech to focus on giving emotional support and explaining from the Bible why such terrible things happen to innocent people. w15 12/15 3:7

Barber's Logic - God does not exist
A Barber's Story:  Does God Exist ?
A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always. He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him. They talked about so many things and various subjects. Suddenly, they touched the subject of God. The barber said: "Look man, I don't believe that God exists as you say."
"Why do you say that?" asked the client.
"Well, it's so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist. Oh, tell me, if God existed, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't think of loving a God who permits all of these things."
The client stopped for a moment thinking, but he didn't want to respond as to cause an argument. The barber finished his job and the client went out of the shop. Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street with a long hair and beard (it seems that it had been a long time since he had his cut and he looked so untidy).
Then the client again entered the barber shop and he said to the barber, "You know what? Barbers do not exist."
"How can you say they don't exist?" asked the barber. "Well I am here and I am a barber."
"No!" the client exclaimed. "They don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long hair and a beard like that man who walks in the street."
"Ah, barbers do exist, what happens is that people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"-  affirmed the client.  "That's the point.  God does exist,  what happens is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him.  That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

If we appreciate the merciful nature of God’s justice, we will not be quick to judge others in matters that really do not concern us or that are of lesser importance. In his Sermon on the Mount, Jesus warned: “Stop judging that you may not be judged.” (Matthew 7:1) According to LukeÂ’s account, Jesus added: “Stop condemning, and you will by no means be condemned.” (Luke 6:37) Jesus showed his awareness that imperfect humans have a tendency to be judgmental. Any of his listeners who were in the habit of harshly judging others were to stop it.
Why must we “stop judging” others? For one thing, our authority is limited. The disciple James reminds us: “One there is that is lawgiver and judge”—Jehovah. So James pointedly asks: “Who are you to be judging your neighbor?” (James 4:12; Romans 14:1-4) In addition, our sinful nature can so easily render our judgments unfair. Many attitudes and motives—including prejudice, injured pride, jealousy, and self-righteousness—can distort the way we see fellow humans. We have further limitations, and reflecting on these should restrain us from being quick to find fault with others. We cannot read hearts;  nor can we know all the personal circumstances of others. Who, then, are we to impute wrong motives to fellow believers or to criticize their efforts in God’s service?  How much better it is to imitate Jehovah by looking for the good in our brothers and sisters rather than focusing on their failings !
Jehovah treats us the way we treat others. “Stop judging that you may not be judged,” said Jesus, “for with what judgment you are judging, you will be judged; and with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you.” (Matt. 7:1, 2)

Alfred  Vogel,  our  Brother,  since 1990   My  Swiss  GF  met  him  in  person,  by  his  talks !  Always  interesting  and  instructive, she said.  I've  some  books  of  him  and  get  monthly  his  booklets :  "GESUNDHEITS - NACHRICHTEN" / "Healthy - reports"...  very  good,  now  also  online !  He  brought  as  first  human,  in  the  past,  the  very  good  plant  'ECHINACEA'  to  Europe....   ( digitalis... )

Alfred Vogel, the Lakota chief and the Echinacea plant.....
In South Dakota, Alfred Vogel met Chieftain Ben Black Elk in the Pine Ridge Reserve in 1953 and talked to him about God and the world, the life in the reserve, the disappearance of many Indian customs and, how could it be otherwise, the healing arts with plants. In this way, the chief trusted him and not only gave him the knowledge of the effect of echinacea, the medicinal plant that was to become so important to Alfred Vogel, but also gave him seeds of the red sunhat.
