Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, old and satisfied.—Gen. 25:8.

When we read that Abraham was “old and satisfied,” let us not conclude that he had had his fill of life, so to speak, and had no desire to live in the future. The Bible says of Abraham: “He was awaiting the city having real foundations, whose designer and builder is God.” (Heb. 11:10) Can you imagine how thrilled Abraham will be to live in the earthly Paradise and go on strengthening his friendship with Jehovah? How touched he will be to learn that his example of faith helped Jehovah’s servants throughout thousands of years after his death! In Paradise he will even learn that the way Isaac was restored to him was “illustrative” of something far greater. (Heb. 11:19) And he will learn that the pain he suffered as he prepared to sacrifice Isaac has helped millions of faithful people to imagine Jehovah’s own pain as he provided his Son, Jesus Christ, as the ransom.—John 3:16. w16.02 1:15, 16

( I  like  that  picture  of  JESUS...  he  is  smiling  by  his  hard  work :)  looking  very  healthy  and  forceful ! )

    When  Did  Joseph  Die ?....

We know that Joseph was alive when Jesus was 12 years old,...
At that age many Jewish youths began to learn their fatherÂ’s trade and became apprentices at 15,...
Joseph evidently lived long enough to teach Jesus to be a carpenter,...

Was Joseph still living when Jesus began his ministry at about 30 years of age ?...
    It seems very doubtful,...

JesusÂ’ mother, brothers, and sisters are all mentioned as living at that time but not Joseph,...
Jesus was once even called “ the son of Mary,” not the son of Joseph. Mark 6:3

Mary is spoken of as acting and taking initiatives on her own, without consulting a husband,... John 2:1-5
That would have been unusual in Bible times unless she was a widow,...
Finally, as he was dying, Jesus entrusted the care of his mother to the apostle John.
There would have been no need to do so if Joseph were still living,...

Evidently, then, Joseph died when Jesus was still a relatively young man,...
As the eldest son,  Jesus undoubtedly took over the carpentry business and cared for the family until his baptism.

Wedlock should be filled with joy,  not unhappiness and drudgery.  Especially should a Christian home be a place of rest and peace. Consider what happened some 3,000 years ago when the aged widow Naomi and her widowed daughters-in-law, Orpah and Ruth, were on the road from Moab to Judah. Naomi urged the younger women to return to their people. The Moabitess Ruth stuck with Naomi, was faithful to the true God, and was assured ‘a perfect wage from Jehovah, under whose wings she sought refuge.Â’ (Ruth 1:9; 2:12) With great appreciation for GodÂ’s gift of marriage, Ruth became the wife of elderly Boaz, a true worshipper of Jehovah. When resurrected on earth in GodÂ’s new world, she will be delighted to learn that she became an ancestress of Jesus Christ. (Matt. 1:1, 5, 6; Luke 3:23, 32)   What blessings she received for doing things JehovahÂ’s way !

How to be Saved from Hell: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:17  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: Romans 8 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23   For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2.

(Col. 1:15-17). w16.01 5:1, 2
