  1. VIDEO OF THIS WEEK AT THE MEETING....  ( 14:50 min.) ENJOY ! Gerrit Lösch: "The prophetic word" strengthens us. Gerrit Lösch: Fortified by “the Prophetic Word” https://tv.jw.org/#en/mediaitems/StudioTalks/pub-jwban_201503_1_VIDEO
  2. They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.—John 17:16. We should not be surprised if the world hates us for our neutral stand; Jesus warned us that it would. Most opposers do not appreciate the importance of the issues involved in Christian neutrality. For us, though, these are matters of utmost importance. Loyalty to Jehovah requires that we be steadfast in the face of threats. (Dan. 3:16-18) Fear of man can affect people of all ages, but young people may find it especially difficult to go against the flow, so to speak. If your children are facing such issues as the flag salute or nationalistic celebrations, do not hesitate to assist them. Use Family Worship sessions to help your children understand the issues involved so that they can meet those challenges courageously. Help them to express their personal convictions clearly and respectfully. (Rom. 1:16) Take the initiative to speak with their teachers about these matters if necessary. w15 7/15 3:15, 16 https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/10/15
  3. There will be great tribulation.—Matt. 24:21. Although we do not fully understand all that will happen during that time of test, we can expect that it will involve some measure of sacrifice. In the first century, Christians had to leave behind their possessions and endure hardships in order to survive. (Mark 13:15-18) To remain faithful, will we be willing to experience material loss? Will we be ready to do whatever is required of us to prove our loyalty to Jehovah? Just think! At that time, we will be the only ones following the example of the ancient prophet Daniel by continuing to worship our God no matter what. (Dan. 6:10, 11) This will not be the time to preach the “good news of the Kingdom.” That time will have passed. The time for “the end” will have come! (Matt. 24:14) No doubt God’s people will proclaim a hard-hitting judgment message. This may well involve a declaration announcing that Satan’s wicked world is about to come to its complete end. w15 7/15 2:3, 8, 9 https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/10/14
  4. Deliver us from the wicked one.—Matt. 6:13. To live in harmony with the request “deliver us from the wicked one,” we must strive to be “no part of [SatanÂ’s] world.” We must “not love either [SatanÂ’s] world or the things in the world.” (John 15:19; 1 John 2:15-17) Doing so is an ongoing struggle. What a relief it will be when Jehovah answers this request by removing Satan and causing his wicked world to pass away! We must remember, though, that when Satan was hurled out of heaven, he knew that his time was short. Enraged, he does all he can to make us break our integrity. So we must keep praying for deliverance from him. (Rev. 12:12, 17) Do you desire such a happy outcome? Then continue to pray for GodÂ’s Kingdom to sanctify GodÂ’s name and cause his will to be done on earth. Look to Jehovah to supply your spiritual and physical needs. Yes, be determined to live in harmony with the model prayer.—Matt. 6:9-13. w15 6/15 5:12, 17, 18 https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/10/13
  5. REFLECTION NOTÂ TOÂ DIEÂ SUCCESS..... The faithful and wise slave is urging us to go out and look for people depressed by the world situation. However, we must keep an eye on how to keep a few striking numbers of witnesses informing us that they are leaving the congregations. Just as we are concerned with knowing the reasons for the unbeliever's concern, we must use humility to see the why of the departure of some brothers. It is not good to say that the "so much percent" is very low, since our Faith is characterized by treating THE INDIVIDUALS. People are not disposable and replaceable. Christ cared for individuals. He used his power to help them. He used his time to instruct and guide each and every one. Jesus also trained the men to continue their work. His farewell words to one of his closest apostles were: "Feed my sheep" Jesus said that the true shepherd would leave the flock in search of the lost lamb. It is true that a few years ago the organization published a pamphlet in an attempt to call the lost sheep to return to Jehovah. The disgusting Babylon the Great, a specialist in damaging the sheep, will be called to account for the total abandonment of their sheep. The Bible already contains the judgment for these false Babylonian shepherds. But we would do well to read these words with the assurance that it does not apply to Jehovah's Witnesses, especially to our pastors: (Ezekiel 34: 2-5) "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy, and you have to say to them, to the shepherds, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said:' Woe to the shepherds of Israel, who have become herd-keepers of themselves! Is not the herd what pastors must feed? 3 The fat is what you eat, and with the wool you dress yourselves. The fat animal is what they do. The herd itself does not feed. 4 The sick have not strengthened, and the suffering have not healed, and the ravine have not blindfolded, and the scattered have not brought back, and the lost have not sought to find, but have harshly had them in subjection, until with tyranny. 5 And they were gradually scattered because they had no shepherd, so that they became food for every wild beast of the field, and they continued to be scattered. When Warwick's project was first announced, I realized immediately that it was not simply a work of men. That sure will have the blessing of Jehovah. Warwick is not a granite temple. Nor is it necessary to live in a tent and try to save the lost and battered sheep. At the last annual meeting, it was announced that the PUBLIC Watchtower will appear 3 times a year. More than enough. Because the so-called FOOD AT YOUR DUE TIME is only for the dedicated servants and will continue to appear in our STUDY Watchtowers. As it is, with the drums of war striking harder every day, it is evident that Jehovah is ordering his great military force to administer his punishment. As Jehovah used Babylon to execute his judgments against apostate Judah, the nations are lining up against modern Babylon. In the meantime, let's keep looking after our little sheep.
  6. WOW, how beautiful?  I like very much all these wonderful dresses of all countries ! So unique, these nice colors ???  Thank you for posting Kurt  Â
  7. How he become Jehovahs Witnesses.... At age 27, Pascal began his journey. He crossed the border into Ghana, traveled through Togo and across Benin, and finally reached the town of Birni Nkonni in Niger. Now the really risky part of the journey was about to begin. To travel north, he needed to hop on a truck and cross the Sahara Desert. Then, upon reaching the Mediterranean, he would board a boat to sail to Europe. That was the plan, but two things happened in Niger that stopped him. First, he ran out of money. Second, he met Noe, a pioneer, who started a Bible study with him. What he learned touched him deeply and changed his view of life. His material goals were replaced by spiritual interests. Pascal was baptized. To show his gratefulness to Jehovah, and he began to pioneer in Niger—in the very town where he had learned the truth "Be wise my son,and make my heart rejoice so that i can make a reply who taunts me" -Proverbs 27:11  -  VERY WELCOME OUR DEAR BROTHER
  8. Eric and his wife, Katy serve as pioneers in sparsely populated northern Benin. Some ten years ago, while living in France, they began reading articles about serving where there is a greater need and talking to full-time servants. This gave them the desire to move abroad, which they did in 2005. The growth they witnessed has been impressive. Says Eric: “Two years ago, our group in the town of Tanguiéta had 9 publishers; now we have 30 ! On Sunday, between 50 and 80 attend the meeting. (Matthew 28:19-20) What an incomparable joy it is to observe such growth!” MAY JEHOVAH VERY MUCH BLESS YOU and YOUR DEAR WIFE ? ? ? .•*¨`*•..¸???¸.•*¨`*•. ? ? ?
  9. Why so many Bibles? Why are there so many biblical versions or translations? Do you think the new versions are a help or an obstacle to understanding the Bible? Knowing their origins will help us evaluate them well. Let's start seeing who wrote the Bible and when. The Original Bible Generally, the Bible is divided into two sections. The first consists of 39 books containing "the sacred formal declarations of God" (Romans 3:2). God inspired faithful men to write these books for a long period of time, about 1513 years since 1513 (before the common era) until shortly after 443 A.E.C. wrote primarily in Hebrew, so we call this section the Hebrew Scriptures, also known as "Old Testament". The second section consists of 27 books that are also considered "the word of God" (1 Thessalonians 2:13). God inspired some faithful disciples of Jesus Christ to write these books for a much shorter period of time, About 41 years from around 41 E.C. (was common) until 98. They wrote mainly in Greek, so we call this section the Christian Greek Scriptures, also known as "New Testament". These 66 inspired books form the full Bible, God's message for humanity. But why did you do more translations of the Bible? Let's see three of the main reasons. So that people could read the Bible in their mother tongue. To remove the errors of the copyists and retrieve the original text. To update the language. Let us look at how these factors were taken into account in two of the first translations. The Greek Septuagint About three hundred years before Jesus, some Jewish scholars began translating Hebrew scriptures into another language: the Greek. This translation became known as the Greek Septuagint. Why did they do it? To help the many Jews who at that time spoke Greek rather than Hebrew to stay close to their "Holy writings" (2 Timothy 3:15). The Septuagint also helped millions of people who were not Jewish and spoke Greek to know the teachings of the Bible. In what way? Professor Wilbert Howard wrote: " since the middle of the first century, it became the Bible of the Christian church, and his missionaries were from synagogue in synagogue 'testing with the scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah' (Acts 17:3, 4 According to biblical scholar Frederick Bruce, that was one of the reasons why the Jews "lost interest in the septuagint". As the disciples of Jesus received the books of Christian Greek Scriptures, they were added to the translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, and thus obtained the full bible that we have today. Latin vulgate About three hundred years after the Bible was completed, the religious scholar jerónimo completed a Latin translation, which in time was called the latin vulgate. Why was another latin translation needed if there were already several? Jerónimo wanted to correct "bad translations, misprints and unexplained additions or omissions", says the international standard Bible Encyclopedia. Jerome corrected many of those mistakes. However, later, the church took the worst of decisions: it determined that the latin vulgate was the only authoritative translation of the Bible, and it was for centuries. Instead of helping ordinary people to understand the Bible, the vulgate did the opposite, because over time most people stopped understanding Latin. New translations Meanwhile, other translations of the Bible appeared, such as the famous peshitta Syriac, around the fifth century of our age. But it was not until the th century that new attempts were made so that ordinary people could read the scriptures in their mother tongue. In England, at the end of the th century, John Wyclef began the process to release the bible from dead languages and produce an English translation that ordinary people could understand. Shortly afterwards, the printing methods of Johannes Gutenberg allowed biblical scholars to print and distribute new versions of the Bible in many of the languages spoken in Europe. When there were many English translations, critics questioned the need for more than one version in the same language. However, in the th century, the English clergyman John Lewis wrote: " languages age and become incomprehensible, so it is necessary to revise old translations to get them to speak in the language used by people, and the current generation can Understand ". Currently, the biblistas are in a better position than ever to review old translations. They have a greater understanding of the languages in which the Bible was written and have valuable ancient biblical manuscripts found in recent times. Thanks to that, they have been able to determine more precisely the original text. So it is very useful to have new versions of the Bible, although with some you have to be cautious. *Now, when what motivates reviewers to make a new version of the Bible is a sincere love for God, we can benefit greatly from his work*
  10. A very poor, deaf, interested Bible - student woman, made also an appeal on the GoFundMe - page, but she got zero $  Very different this page.... sorry !

  12. SPIRITUAL GEMS - week from 9th to 15th of October. 12: 3. Who are those who have insight, and when do they shine "as the brightness of the expanse"? (w13 15/7 page 13, paragraph 16, final note). Those who have perspicacity are anointed Christians and "shine" when participating in preaching. 12:13. What does it mean that Daniel would stand up? (pp. 315 para 18). When Daniel returns to life through resurrection. What has Jehovah taught you this week's Bible reading? Daniel 12: 1-10. He teaches us of Jehovah that he is a God of prophecy. We say this because His prophets revealed to them things that would have a future fulfillment beyond their time. And now we can witness their fulfillment. Daniel 12: 3. He teaches us of his undeserved kindness. In these verses the prophet Daniel wrote that at the time of the end the anointed ones would bring "many to righteousness." This is achieved through the preaching of the Kingdom message. In this way Jehovah's laws are taught to millions of people, making God consider them righteous by demonstrating the undeserved goodness of Jehovah. What other spiritual pearls did you find in this week's Bible reading? Daniel 10:11. In these verses Daniel was called "very desirable" because he was a humble, devout man and devoted to study and prayer. It was precisely these qualities that allowed him to remain faithful to God until the end of his life. This encourages us to follow his example of humility and devotion to Jehovah. Daniel 10: 9-11. In imitation of the angel who was sent to Daniel, we should encourage and strengthen our brothers, offering them a helping hand and offering them words of comfort. ********************************** Daniel 11:12: The prophecy we find in this chapter is interesting, but we must not speculate on who might be the King of the North, as he mentions w93 1/11 para . 2. Rather, we should be alert and strengthened in a spiritual sense because we do not know when we will pass through a test of faith that puts us against the wall. ***************************************In Daniel 10:11: We see that The name that became Daniel was definitely of a loyal man. There we saw how not only the angel told him that he was a desirable man but a "very desirable man." This reminds us that we must treat our relatives with special words, especially our spouse and children ... for they also expect words of love and tenderness ... Let not the influence of the world make us hard people, let us try to abrupt way to those we love. *********************************Daniel 12:13 there Daniel has allusion to the resurrection which he who has been a very desirable man humble loyal and finds applied what he learned from the scriptures shows me the faith so great that he had in this valuable promise, and this text can also be used in the ministry to give people hope about the blessings that are to come. ****************************** Daniel 11:32 speaks that if one acts iniquitously against the covenant, he will lead them to apostasy by sweet words, which teaches me that acting in an unrighteous manner without repentance brings serious consequences that ends in speaking badly of the organization of Jehovah and apostasy the only sin for which there is no pardon. **********************************Daniel 12: 1 there is mentioned Michael the son of God who has been given full authority to act against unjust human governments at the end of the text mentions that alone it will escape all that was written in the book, which gives us the guarantee that everything will improve under the government of Jesus and we encourage to continue striving.
