Everyone who keeps on looking at a woman so as to have a passion for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.—Matt. 5:28. Recall what happened in King David’s case. “From the rooftop [David] saw a woman bathing.” (2 Sam. 11:2) He failed to look away and to direct his thoughts elsewhere. That led him to desire a woman who was someone else’s wife and to take steps to commit adultery with her. In order to combat immoral fantasies, we need to ‘make a covenant with our eyes,’ as did faithful Job. (Job 31:1, 7, 9) We must solemnly decide to control our eyes and not allow them to gaze with immoral lust at another person. That would include averting our gaze from sexually charged images, be they on a computer screen, a billboard, a magazine cover, or anywhere else. In your fight against wrong desires, take immediate action. Willingly submit to the counsel of God’s Word, which can help you avoid wrongdoing and thus remain chaste.—Jas. 1:21-25. w15 6/15 3:12-14 https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/7/13

Three days of collective Bible study: Jehovah's Witnesses in the wide round of the Frankfurt football arena. Baby carriages on strollers stand in front of the main entrance of the stadium. A young mother crouches on a stone, concentrates on her cell phone. Her daughter sleeps in the baby carriage. Through headphones the young woman follows the sermon in the arena. Thanks to the Bible app on the smartphone, she can also work diligently during the morning sleep of her child. The Jehovah's Witnesses congress attracted some 14,000 visitors yesterday to the Waldstadion in Frankfurt. And for today and tomorrow, speaker Erika Krämer expects similar figures. The visitors have made a striking appearance. Most women wear clothes, the men come in shirt and tie. And they all have a name tag. In this fellowship, you are a brother and sister to you. 1400 folders are in use, volunteers who control the pockets with an apologizing smile. In times of terror, one must be more careful, says Krämer. The folders themselves are more of a service provider. Anyone looking for the map is immediately surrounded by several helpers. "It is a long time here." If you still look irritated, you will be taken to the square - unobtrusive but definitely. In the upper tier, a whole block is reserved for "old people". Courtesy is trump, no one would speak of "old" here. The elderly have the best view of the speakers who preach to the congress topic "Do not give up". They sit, listen and make notes. For a congress of Jehovah's Witnesses means work. First and foremost. The printed Bible holds only a few in this hand. God's word is stored on the mobile phone. A volunteer center is set up at the entrance to the arena. Those who would like to contribute during the three-day congress will be able to report. "With money it is such a thing" The snake in front of the switch is long. "There are always small things to do," says co-ordinator Jens Wilke. To distribute water to the "old", for example. Or waste garbage. The helpers enter with their handynummer on a list. If an assignment is waiting for them, they will be notified by SMS. Wilke said that this would be very discreet, after all, that the other congress visitors would not be disturbed. The largest number of volunteers he needs to guard the donation boxes, adds the coordinator. Finally, the congress, which attracts visitors from Hesse, the Palatinate, Saarland and Baden-Württemberg, is financed by donations. The rent for the three days in the Waldstadion is expected to hit just half a million euros. But the visitors turn out to be generous. "We do not leave the boxes alone. It's such a thing with money, "says Wilke. Sultry and hot it is on Friday morning. Trays and drinks are unpacked. For the lunch break everyone has brought something. It is shared, it is laughed. We know each other. "This is like a family meeting with Jesus," says Kramer. The high point of the congress is, however, for many of the visitors only today: At 11.45 hours, about a hundred baptized people will decide publicly in accordance with the principles of the Bible under the eyes of their "brothers and sisters".

Háganse imitadores de Dios (Efes. 5:1).

Become imitators of God.—Eph. 5:1. Our being able to conceive of events that we have not lived through can help us to imitate Jehovah’s wisdom and foresee the probable results of our actions. If Jehovah chooses to do so, he can foresee in detail the results of certain actions. We do not have that degree of foresight, but we do well to think about what could happen as a result of what we are about to do. To imitate God’s wisdom, we would do well to think about or even visualize the likely consequences of our actions. If we are courting, for example, we need to recognize the power of sexual attraction. Never would we make plans or do anything that could endanger our precious relationship with Jehovah! Instead, let us act in harmony with these inspired words: “The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself, but the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences.”—Prov. 22:3. w15 5/15 4:10, 11 https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/7/12

Jehovah’s Witnesses Evacuees Camped Out At CN Centre Prince George, BC, Canada / CKPG News July 10, 2017 07:04 pm Over 2,500 people from the far corners of northwestern BC, to as far south as 100 Mile House came to Prince George this weekend for the annual Jehovah’s Witnesses Convention. With evacuation orders issued in central parts of the province, 130 families (a total of 306 people) who attended the convention are now unable to return home. “We have an agreement with the CN Centre for a number of days where we rent the facilities, and it includes the grounds. We rent the stampede grounds and the parking lots,” says Dale Johnson, the Chairman of the Disaster Relief Committee at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. “After our convention was over, we asked permission from the City and CN Centre if they would mind if these refugees- these people who have been displaced– could stay for a few extra days. The City was kind enough to allow them to stay parked.” 5 local congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses are looking after the needs of evacuees. They are providing sewage, water, food and anything else that is required on-site. More trailers have been brought in from the Prince George Jehovah’s Witnesses. Families in the local congregations have also taken in evacuees. Johnson says the community has been great. “The CN Centre, they’ve allowed us to stay. They have offered us the use of their facilities there. We had a contract with them and so they have been very kind to allow us continue that contract for our use only. The City has been great. We have had some of the local politicians come and check on our folks to give them direction as to where to go to register. They have offered food at no cost. We think about the fire fighters; local folks that sometimes aren’t appreciated, but we have been given such clear direction from these people that we feel really secure and looked after.” Now all that’s left to do is wait.”Our friends are concerned and our families are a little bit stressed, but they are getting the emotional and spiritual help that they need on a daily basis,” says Johnson. “We have made visits to almost every family over there. They are playing the waiting game. There’s rumors floating around, but as the information comes in from the authorities that’s what we pass on so people don’t get upset. They are happy, they are content and looked after.” A disaster administrative centre for the group has also been set up at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on 15 Avenue. http://www.ckpg.com/2017/07/10/cn-centre-opens-facility-to-jehovahs-witness-evacuees/ I HOPE, ALL HUMANS DOING WELL NOW....

TEXTO DIARIO ANIMADO 11 de julio de 2017...... -
Luego pídale fuerzas a Dios (Filip. 4:6, 7, 13).

Those who are sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, men who submit to homosexual acts, men who practice homosexuality, thieves, greedy people, drunkards, revilers, and extortioners will not inherit God’s Kingdom.—1 Cor. 6:9, 10. If you struggle with temptation to engage in sexual immorality, what can you do? Acknowledge your weakness. (Rom. 7:22, 23) Pray to God for strength. (Phil. 4:6, 7, 13) Avoid situations that could lead to immorality. (Prov. 22:3) And when a temptation arises, reject it without delay. (Gen. 39:12) Jesus set a powerful example for us in resisting temptations. He was not fooled by Satan’s promises, nor did he have to take time to weigh the pros and cons. Rather, he immediately responded with the words: “It is written.” (Matt. 4:4-10) Jesus knew God’s Word, and that made it possible for him to act quickly and quote scriptures in the face of temptation. To fight Satan and win, we must not allow ourselves to be tempted to engage in sexual immorality. w15 5/15 2:15, 16 https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/dt/r1/lp-e/2017/7/11
