No seguir este consejo es muy peligroso, como lo demuestra el capítulo 7 de Proverbios. Allí se cuenta la historia de un joven que se va a dar un paseo cerca de la casa de una mujer inmoral, con la que termina teniendo relaciones. ¡Si tan solo se hubiera mantenido lejos de aquella mujer! (Prov. 7:6-27). ¿Podría pasarnos algo similar a nosotros? ¿Podríamos actuar con falta de prudencia y exponernos a situaciones peligrosas que despertaran deseos incorrectos en nosotros? Por ejemplo, de noche es más común que la televisión presente programas con contenido inapropiado para cristianos. ¿Qué podría ocurrir si anduviéramos cambiando de un canal a otro? También es arriesgado hacer clic en enlaces que llevan a páginas que desconocemos, o frecuentar salas de charla (o chats) en las que aparecen invitaciones a ver pornografía o publicidad de servicios sexuales. Tal vez, por andar en esos sitios, de pronto podríamos encontrarnos con algo inmoral. ¿Verdad que eso nos haría más difícil mantenernos limpios? w15 15/6 3:8, 9

The danger of disregarding this counsel is illustrated in Proverbs chapter 7, where we read about a young man who goes for a stroll near the house of an immoral woman. They engage in sexual immorality. If only he had stayed far away from her! (Prov. 7:6-27) Might we at times show a similar lack of good judgment, perhaps straying into dangerous situations that could awaken wrong desires? For example, at night, television networks may relax their restrictions on program content. What if we occasionally channel surf? Or perhaps we might aimlessly follow links on the Internet or frequent chat rooms and sites that carry invitations to view pornography or offer other sexual services. Could it be that in such circumstances we would be confronted with something that would arouse improper desires and undermine our fight to remain chaste? w15 6/15 3:8, 9

Plymouth / Devon UK. The town's coat of arms over the portal of the town hall of Plymouth is to this day the only city in the world, whose town crest contains the divine name Jehovah. The inscription of the coat of arms is: TURRIS FORTISSIMA EST NOMEN JEHOVA These are the words from the Bible Book of Proverbs chapter 18 verse 10a: "The name of Jehovah is a strong tower" The selection of this verse as a city motto fell in the time of the English Civil War 1642 to 1646 Plymouth was conquering by the royal troops for two years. When the city was on the brink of conquest, it was a natural wonder that helped the defenders. An unprecedented flood caused the water level in a shifted river arm of the Plym to rise so that an allied ship could hit the enemy into flight. This miracle of nature was seen as an act of rescue of Jehovah, to which help had also been sought. Out of gratitude the Bible verse from  Prov. 18.10,  was inserted into the STADT-WAPPEN.....

Si Jesús pudo controlar las fuerzas de la naturaleza fue porque contaba con el poder que su Padre le había dado. Como es obvio, el Dios Todopoderoso es perfectamente capaz de hacer lo mismo. Veamos algunos ejemplos. Antes del Diluvio, Jehová dijo: “Dentro de solo siete días más voy a hacer que llueva sobre la tierra cuarenta días y cuarenta noches” (Gén. 7:4). Luego, en Éxodo 14:21 leemos que “Jehová empezó a hacer que el mar se retirara por un fuerte viento del este”. Y Jonás 1:4 nos dice que “Jehová mismo arrojó un gran viento en el mar, y llegó a haber una gran tormenta en el mar; y en cuanto a la nave, estaba a punto de ser destrozada”. Saber que Dios tiene control absoluto sobre la naturaleza inspira confianza en nosotros. Podemos decir sin temor a equivocarnos que el futuro de nuestro planeta está en las mejores manos. Llegará el día en el que las fuerzas de la naturaleza dejen de hacer daño al hombre, pues “la tienda de Dios [estará] con la humanidad” (Rev. 21:3, 4). Podemos estar seguros de que el poder de Dios, ejercido mediante Cristo, mantendrá bajo control a la naturaleza durante los mil años. w15 15/6 1:15, 16

The Source of Christ’s power is Jehovah himself, so we have reason to believe that Almighty God is fully capable of controlling the forces of nature. Consider a few examples. Before the Flood, Jehovah stated: “In just seven days, I will make it rain on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights.” (Gen. 7:4) Similarly, at Exodus 14:21, we read: “Jehovah drove the sea back with a strong east wind.” And we read at Jonah 1:4: “Jehovah hurled a strong wind at the sea, and there was such a violent storm on the sea that the ship was about to be wrecked.” It is encouraging to know that Jehovah can control the elements. Clearly, planet Earth’s future is in good hands. How wonderful it is to think of the time when no natural forces will kill or maim, for “the tent of God [will be] with mankind”! (Rev. 21:3, 4) We can be assured that the power of God exercised through Christ will control the forces of nature during the Millennium. w15 6/15 1:15, 16

Thank you so much dear @ARchiv@L....  for posting regulary the ASL  Weekend Meeting   I always send it to our deaf Charlotte and she is alot enjoying, bec. in her nearness is only a hearing congregation, the interpreter from the past is long away, sorry   I called with Bethel NY.  but no chance for her.  Its not so easy, living far near the mountains. Difficult for a longer Bible study and coming regular to a congregation !

Maybe, Jehovah was watching and now helping with your video's ?  Its a little good help I think !  Thank you again ???

Very  good  tips !    But  I  read  more  times,  better  NO  lettuce  at  evening,  bec. it  can  ferment  in  your  stomach  ;-(   then  not  so  good  sleeping...  Better  is,  cooking  oat - flakes  &  milk,  etc.   Thats  a  light  meal  for  the  stomach  and  the  sleep  is  running  to  you  >>>>>>>>   Test  it....    I  can  sleep  after  eating,   WHATEVER  - hahaha  -  To  95 %  NO  problems !  I  can  sleep  by  day  or  by  night....   When  my  body  needs  resting,  the  clock - time  is  not  importend....  only  a  bed

No siempre es fácil entender el dolor ajeno. Mucha gente sufre cosas por las que nosotros nunca hemos pasado. Algunos están discapacitados debido a un accidente, una enfermedad o la vejez. Otros tienen depresión, ataques de pánico o heridas emocionales por haber sufrido algún tipo de abuso. Los hay que están criando solos a sus hijos o viven con familiares que no sirven a Jehová. ¿Cómo podemos imitar el amor de Dios en esos casos? Escuchándolos con toda atención hasta comprender —por lo menos un poco— sus sentimientos. Así podremos apoyarlos, lo cual es otra forma de imitar el amor de Jehová. No todos necesitan lo mismo, pero quizás podamos fortalecerlos y levantarles el ánimo con nuestras palabras o ayudarlos con alguna tarea (Rom. 12:15; 1 Ped. 3:8). w15 15/5 4:6, 7
